WE TOOK OUR 2000 CUSTOM HYABUSA IN BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT CRANK. HAD TO DO THIS ON A SUNDAY BEFORE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO LEAVE FOR DAYTONA BIKE WEEK. THEY CLAIMED THAT THE STARTER CLUTCH WENT OUT AND TOLD US THAT THIS WAS A RECALL AND WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR ANYTHING. AFTER WAITING 4 DAYS WITH THEM SAYING THAT ONLY PART OF THE PARTS ARRIVED WE JUST WENT IN TO SEE WHAT WAS ACTUALLY GOING ON AND THE OWNER AND A MECHANIC STOOD THERE IN THE BACK JUST STARING AT THE BIKE. SAID THEY HAD REPLACED THE PART AND IT STILL WOULD NOT RUN. THEY TRIED TO TELL US THAT IT WAS A WIRING PROBLEM AND DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. SAID WE COULD LEAVE IT THERE AND THEY WOULD TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT FOR $72 PER HOUR. WE SAID THAT WE WOULD JUST TAKE IT WITH US BECAUSE WE WERE ALREADY LATE TO GO TO DAYTONA. KEEP IN MIND I OFFERED TO PAY WHATEVER TO SHIP THE PARTS OVERNIGHT SO WE COULD LEAVE ON TIME BUT THEY SAID I COULD NOT. AS WE WENT TO LEAVE THEY BILLED US FOR $306.40 IN TIME AND DECIDED TO TELL US THAT THE PART WAS NOT ACTUALLY RECALLED BUT THAT IS WAS A SERVICE BULLITEN AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR THE LABOR ALTHOUGH THE BIKE STILL WAS NOT RUNNING. THE RECEIPT THAT I WAS GIVEN SAID THAT PART WAS REPLACED AND THE BIKE WAS RUNNING. THAT WAS A LIE AND I CROSSED IT OUT RIGHT AT THE COUNTER. WE ARGUED THE PRICE BECAUSE OF WHAT WE WERE TOLD INITIALLY, BUT WE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY AND TAKE THIS UP LATER. WE GOT TO BIKE WEEK AND OUR MECHANIC AND ELECTRICIAN FRIENDS CHECKED OUT THE BIKE AND FOUND THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE ACTUAL PART THAT THEY HAD REPLACED AND THEY PUT IT ON WRONG AND IT WAS SCRAPING THE MOTOR, THERE WERE ACTUAL SHAVINGS THERE FROM THEIR ERROR THAT WE HAD TO PAY FOR. IF OUR FRIENDS HAD NOT FOUND THAT IT WOULD HAVE RUINED OUR MOTOR TOO. WE CALLED AND TOLD THEM THIS AND THEY MADE NO EFFORT TO REFUND ANY OF OUR MONEY SINCE THEY DID NOT FIX IT THEY ACTUALLY MADE IT WORSE. I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHO I CAN GET IN TOUCH WITH AT SUZUKI AND SEE ABOUT A REFUND. I DON'T APPRECIATE THROWING AWAY THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR NOTHING AND A SHORTENED VACATION TOO. WE HAVE SENT THIS PLACE A LARGE AMOUNT OF BUSINESS AND GOT NOTHING BUT RIPPED OF FOR IT IN RETURN.
