Calypso Cay Resort repeated telemarketers calling

This company keeps calling me. I am not interested in a vacation deal. They continue to call - I've gotten at least seven phone calls in the last couple weeks. The last person called - I told her that I got a lot of calls already and please take me off the list. She disagreed with me saying it's the only 1 time they called. I said regardless I'm not interested, so I hung up on her. I feel bad she is trying to make a living, but this is bordering on harassment. They keep calling as if they have dozens of people with lists containing repeat phone #'s or they just lied about not having called before. Besides, my # is on the do not call registry so they should be held liable.

I have received the same numerous hang-up robo calls, was connected once and told them I was not interested and they should remove me from the list. Still receiving calls. This outfit borders on criminal harassment. In addition, I have heard many reviews of the place and their facility and services are substandard.

Calypso Cay Resort fraud

This company has taken my credit card details to secure and offered me a holiday to orlando florida and a cruse to the bahamas caribean on the 5th of november 2008, it seems it is all a fraud, I can not get hold of any of the tel number given or reference of this offer, this must not continue happening, action will be taken if they go ahead with my credit card details .
however I have canceled my card and informed my bank to investigate this fraudulent calypso resort if they charge me and go ahed with it.

Calypso Cay Resort credit card

I received a telephone call telling me i had won a free trip. They asked for my credit card details for confirmation purposes only. I asked both people i spoke to over and over again and before i gave my details if there would be any charges they both assured me that their would be absoulutely not a dime put onto my credit card.
They were in fact processing a charge for almost $1, 000 australian as we spoke. They still have not refunded the money even though they said they would do so immediately. They had no right to make the charge in the first place as i told them I did not want to continue before hanging up the call.
Today i received the parcel I also told them I did not want and rang them they told me i had a cooling off period that is no good to me I want the charge reversed and I should not have to go to the trouble of posting them back a package that I told them not to send me before the end of the conversation.
This is stealing or certainly falls into a similar category. I have discovered a web site that is devoted to them and the way that they scam people surely they can sell what they want without this type of robbery. Although I doubt that they are even legitimite. Please could you tell me what else i can do and how to warn others I can not afford the $900 + australian dollars times are very tough here at the moment.

HI, contact your bank and let them know, i am with the CBA, I contacted the visa department they stopped my card, and resent me a new one, they logged a dispute for me, and i will get my money back with in 45 days, they also have this company on file they know they are scammers

Calypso Cay Resort Fraudulent Practices

Absolute rip off company. It is there sole intention to fleece unsuspecting customers of large amounts of cash for a vacation package that they never intend for you to utilise.

Allcompany employees extremely rude and aggressive, CEO stephen Bradley very elusive. Complete Scam!

Calypso Cay Resort Fraud

I received a call from Carol. She offered me a hoiday in Orlando for 6 days five nights, Daytona for 3 days 2 nights, a Bahamas cruise for 3 days teo nights and 2 free passes to Universal Studios
She told me the price was 498USD, they work in conjunction with Visa and Mastercard and they needed my credit card details to hold the reservation. I was told I would not be charged and that I would get a package in the mail and then I would have a 30 day cooling off period and at that point I would be charged. The package is suppose to arrive in the mail in 5 to 10 working days. They said if I wanted to cancel I needed to do so in writing but I could also phone. They gave me 2 different phone numbers. When i got off the phone I googled them and got a shock reading about all their fradulent activities dating all the way back to Oct 2005. I imediately called Visa to cancel my credit card and sure enough they charged my card. I called both numbers they gave me and neither worked. i called the US number on their web page. I spoke to a women that said she didn't have my details yet, but if I wanted to cancel I had to wait for the package and follow directions from section 7. I did not authorize a debit for the 498USD because I haven't seen what I am buying. This has got to stop. It has been going on for too long.

This company has just done the same with me on the phone, it is all a fraud, I am not letting this happening, action must be taken inmediately.

Calypso Cay Resort Scam and cheating

I was skeptical when I received a telephone call saying that I had won a holiday in Orlando Florida, but I thought what the hell, let them have their say. Sounds good and as I intend to be in the UK next year, the flight cost won't be as expensive. I have received offers like this before and have even accepted one. The big difference being was that I did not have to give my credit card details over the phone. I was sent the information first and had 21 days to accept the offer. Which I did and my family had a great day.

When the telemarketer got impatient with me for refusing to give my credit card details over the phone and continued to speak over me when I kept repeating that I was not going to change my mind, I decided I did not want to deal with people so rude. He then threatened to hang up on me if I did not give him the details, so I let him. I knew if I had truly won this trip they would have to ring me back. Funny I haven't heard back from them. What they don't realize is that there are legitimate offers out there and the way they do business is making them the losers.

I have received automatic response calls and have answered to run up their phone bills hoping they would stop calling. When I refused to give my card details the 'director' I was passed to became offensive and also told me that by dialling 9 at the start of the call, I was paying for the call, after being informed by the operator that the call was free and was being paid by Calypso Cay, the company in question

Having checked with my telecom supplier, this was a blatant lie, this is the calibre of people working for this company, DO NOT USE THEM!

I am certain they are using the worst type of marketing and should be closed down.

This happened to my mum too. They scammed her for £630 and its been over 5 months now and shes been trying to get her money refunded but is unable to and the bank cannot do nothing about it, due to they said it was authorised. Everytime you ring them they never pick the phones up as its a disconnected number, i don't understand why people can't just close them down and stop their company scamming innocent people.

but gthn another person came on n sed wud u like to purchase a holiday in florida he sed it wud £1000 for 2 pepole he sed if u giv me card number she wudnt so he came down in price to nearley £400 n sed u can take how evr many people u wont with you n sed it wer cruise in tickets for all to disney land n all inclusive resort in florida so she gave him number stupidly n gave all details n she thought he wer gona take deposit but they tuk all money n they put insted of beryl put eeryl n instead ofglyndor penrault put glydoor penrooe but only way post man cud find houde wer post code he sed tht 2 her n she new it wer scam then n i lokked it up n found out they dont acctyally hav a resort in orlando florida n thers no cruise just big scamm no one be fooled n nevr giv yor card number 2anyone who u dont no!
