BuyTelco have not rec'd amazon gift card!

I ordered my Comcast service via Amazon to qualify for the gift certificate in July, 07. Sent in all the paperwork to get my promised Amazon gift card. It's been 6 months and nothing. The email was returned saying they get too many emails to reply. The phone number on their website is bogus.

Don't bother with them. You can get $150 back in check, a free modem and install kit, all at Circuit City - and it actually works (so I'm told, I wish I'd done it that way). I can't not get my rebate - because i can't GET THE REBATE FORM. If anyone has their email with it, please, please forward it to me! Thanks. Why go to this not accessible ripoff company when you can get a good deal from one of your local electronics stores? (It's on Circuit City's website, but you have to go into the store.) At least that was my logic. By the way the affiliate off Staples website is one of these ripoff places - CC's really through CC.

The longer story:

When ordering an email is supposed to arrive containing the forms for submitting the rebate form. Mine didn't arrive. I called again, we resubmitted it and it still didn't arrive. I've called a month later and tried again with a slightly different home address and it still isn't arriving. Meanwhile I emailed Mr. Gallow 4 times over several weeks time, NO RESPONSE. I called the rebate line and she contacted the website owner but isn't allowed to give out their information.

Yipes. How can a company be this disreputable? And why does comcast allow itself to be so degraded by calling them "affiliated"...

Acceller/ Digital Landing is nothing but a fraud. My brother and I both ordered the Comcast service from them and were supposed to get $200 amazon.com gift card, but it's been more than 10 months since I sent in my paperwork and I've been calling and yelling at them every 2 weeks and they create a new case for me and tell me a supervisor will call me but no one ever called. Recently I got hold of Acceller's corporate number [protected]. The lady's name is monique and she is a manager and she promised I would have my gift card within 2 weeks. We'll see.

Addendum

I just received the rebate email. It's been 1 1/2 months since I ordered the service so we'll see if this form works. It's got the wrong valid dates and is for $125, not the $150 at the time I ordered.

Turns out by using a B at the end of the number in my street address, it allowed a new signup and that's how I got this form.

What a pain, and i haven't even mailed this yet. What confirmation number should I use? Try 1, 2 or 3?

I was directed by the Direct TV ordering tool to find high speed internet satellite service, told I could get Wild Blue, billed by Buy Telco 369.00 did not here from Wild Blue, called, they said I had not heard because I couln not get Wild Blue. I contacted Wild Blue, direct Tv, and the Buy Telco is bogus, I plan on contacting my attorney.

Same problem here. Ordered service in September '07 and have not received the promised Amazon gift cert. Called in Nov. '07 and was givien a ticket # to address problem, which the rep promised would be addressed in 6 to 8 weeks. When I called in Jan. '08, another rep said I was mis-informed, it would take 16 to 20 weeks to address my issue. What a rip off! The # i called was [protected].

BuyTelco jason gallow / accelor / no response!

I took advantage of the $150 Amazon Gift Card promotion that BuyTelco was offering and placed an order for Internet service through them back in Feb. It's Nov. and, after reading several complaints about BuyTelco, I'm not surprised that I haven't received the gift card.

I've called & emailed BuyTelco numerous times, to no avail. I've even called my internet provider, who advised there wasn't anything they could do because it wasn't their promotion, BuyTelco is the third-party, blah-blah-blah.

Ok, so, I found that I wasn't the only person frustrated with BuyTelco and their lack of customer service! I read one of the complaints that mentioned he emailed Jason Gallow at [protected]@acceller.com and received his gift card within 24hrs via email. I'VE EMAILED THE MYSTERIOUS MR. GALLOW 3 TIMES AND HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING! I'm a very rational person, but patient I am not!

I followed the guidelines and sent BuyTelco the necessary information before the deadline. All I want is my friggin' $150 Amazon Gift Card! Why does it have to be so difficult? So Frustrating!

Patience is not MY vertue -

Upset about Amazon Gift Cards
Atlanta, US

It is a total scam, I've read numerous blogs all over the place and no-one that "claims" to have received their gifts cards really exist. Hmmm, could this be another one of their scams to get more people signed up? There was also a "Jason Gallows" who claims to help you out. I called...no-one by that name has ever worked for their company.
I've received numerous correspondance from 2 individuals. Yet it's been almost 8 months with no gift cards...SCAM. Digital Landing, Acceller and BuyTelco are all shady companies. The following 2 people have been "trying to help"...still no gift card. Go figure. I'm also making it my "personal mission in life" to go after these companies till they own up to their scam. GO TO COMCAST DIRECTLY TO SIGN UP!

BuyTelco fraud and cheating!

I signed up for Comcast in early February through comcastoffer.com because they were offering a $150 Amazon gift card. I regret signing up with Buytelco for Comcast offer. I wish I had simply signed up for Comcast by calling them directly. Or better, I should have signed up for Comcast through Amazon.com, at least people are getting their $100 gift card from Amazon. Here is the Comcast deal that Amazon offers with $100 Amazon gift card: http://amazon.com/gp/browse.html?node=241126011&carrierID=comcastamazon

Buytelco customer service is notoriously the worst I've experienced. I had to even give out my credit card number so they can send out a technician and I felt unsafe for giving out my credit card # but I thought to myself, for $150 amazon gift card, it's probably worth it.

Well, I mailed my rebate form with proper documentation in early February to Buytelco and it's late August right now. I have not received the $150 Amazon gift card.

I have tried phone support, chat, and email support. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE is willing to help me out. I've could of made better choice by directly signing up from Comcast and avoid over six hours of hassle. I have wasted so much time to get help from Buytelco that I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE UP

It's now my personal hobby to expose Buytelco and their shady practices to consumers. Currently, I'm planning on writing a complaint ready to the Better Business Bureau and to Comcast Headquater in PA. I'll soon start blogging about buytelco / comcastoffer.com and post on many other web sites and forums as possible to expose Buytelco. I'll stop when I receive the promised $150 Amazon gift card from them.

This is the email that I had received when I signed up on comcastoffer.com:

"Thank you for ordering High Speed Broadband Internet service through BuyTelco. You can expect to be enjoying a faster, more convenient online experience soon.

You should have heard from COMCAST to schedule your High Speed Internet order. In the event no contact has been made, please call at [protected] and give them confirmation # [Removed for security reasons] to schedule your order. Your secondary confirmation # is [Removed for security reasons]."

Contact me if you have any questions or have been also scammed by Buytelco: [protected]@yahoo.com.

Hello,

I am posting again to say my issue was handled very professionally, though it took time, it was solve eventually and I received my gift card. The company Buytelco went above and beyond to satisfy me for all the trouble i had gone through. I'd recommend it to anyone that is looking forward to buying Comcast, use their web site to sign up as you WILL get the amazon gift card.

I agree with the author of this complaint.

I signed up through the link: http://amazon.com/gp/browse.html?node=241126011&carrierID=comcastamazon

for $100 amazon gift. I just found out that the dealer on Amazon is the same Buytelco company that runs the web site comcastoffer.com

Like the author suggested, stay away from this company. Save yourself trouble and just directly sign up for Comcast at comcast.com

On February 28, 2008 I ordered high speed internet service through Direct TV. I was to receive Wild Blue at $69.95 per month and on February 29, 2008 $289.00 was taken from my account. I have heard nothing about my service. Direct TV knows nothing, Wild Blue knows nothing and Buy Telco is not answering their phone.

I can not afford to lose this money.

In August I ordered Wildblue service thru DirectTV which then entered my order for the equipment thru Buytelco. The equipment was immediately billed to my debit card and arrived approximately 3 to 4 weeks later. An installer called to do installation and a time was set - the installer was late and told me that he had to mount the dish on the front corner of my house or I had to pay extra for a pole mount. After much argument, I paid $130 extra to installer for pole mount since there was no way I could determine if there was damage to the roof the installer would cover cost to fix. Also the installer burned my carpet using a drill and left a hole in my wall insider where he could not get thru to the outside. He left without setting up all the service and said he would come back later - never did. A couple of days later I noticed that Wildblue had billed me using my debit card for service. When I ordered I was told that it would be billed with DirectTV. I called and told them I had not authorized use of my debit card for Wildblue billing - only for equipment cost. Wildblue told me I had signed a contract - I had not signed anything. They said they had a copy. I requested a copy and after the second request, I received a copy of a 12 page contract which had my name forged. I then contacted Wildblue and told them I did not want their service. Their installer had forged my name to a contract that I would not have signed and I wanted a refund on the equipment and the month service fee. I also told them that they did not have the authorization to use my debit card. After a couple of weeks, it was determined that the contract had been forged by the installer and they sent an email that they would refund the equipment cost and were releasing me from any obligation on the Customer agreement. I received the equipment refund and a refund for the one month of service. I thought this was the end of a very bad situation. As of today, 12/31/07 I found a $79.95 charge from Buytelco on my checking account (they had used my debit card number for this charge). Called bank and disputed the charge. The bank also gave me a telephone number for the company which does not work. I have canceled my debit card and the bank is issuing a new card. The Card Services for my bank is checking into the dispute of this charge from Buytelco. They indicated that they would contact them and advise that the charge was not authorized.

Anyway, I would advise everyone to stay as far away from Buytelco and Wildblue as possible. You do not want to do business with them and you definitely do not want to give them a card number to use to charge for any equipment. They do not seem to know that they are not authorized to use whenever they want and can give to whoever they want.

I agree this is a scam. I have also been trying to reach customer service and finally I spoke to a manager yesterday. I asked her if anyone else had a rebate problem and she said I was the first one. but when I searched the internet I found that other customers also spoke to the same manager and were made fake promises. From Late February to early March the software for the Directv website was malfunctioning and several orders for Broadband service were lost. This was not a problem with Directv, but a software issue with BuyTelco (Acceller). We had no record of the customers involved and had no way to contact anyone. If you have a Wild Blue order placed through the Directv website and are not sure where your order is please call me at [protected]. this is only for orders placed through the Directv website...Not placed thru the call center or to Wild Blue directly. I will be happy to try and locate any outstanding charges and reimburse your account if needed. We apologize if you were caught in this mixup. Sincerely...Scott Shaw

I also received the letter from Acceller stating that they were charging me $79.95 for installation for Wild Blue that took place back in August through the dealings with Buytelco.com. I have been in contact with DirecTV and Wild Blue. According to both, buytelco.com is a go between for Wild Blue and DirecTV. While Wild Blue refuses to take any responsibility in the matter, DirecTV has taken the polar opposite approach. DirecTV listened to my concerns and did compensate me for some of my losses. I have an email address for buytelco.com which is support@acceller.com that I will be emailing tonight. I will update what response I receive from them. I find it very violating that this company took my financial information 4 months later and used it to fraudulently charge me for services that were FREE. I have confirmed this information with DirecTV. The installation of Wild Blue at the time I purchased it back in August of 2007 was FREE. What a scam!

BuyTelco scam and cheating!

On july 8, 2006 I responded to a e-mail promotion off from buytelco offering broadband service. This offer was for sbc yahoo service and included 2 free airline tickets. I signed on and received the following e-mail from buytelco:

Order confirmation.

Thank you for ordering. Please print this as your receipt. You will also be receiving a copy via email. Your at&t yahoo dsl order confirmation number is acp2038083. To retrieve your complete order record. If you authenticated your order, at&t yahoo will be activating your circuit and sending the equipment needed to start your high speed internet service. Otherwise, at&t will be contacting you to confirm your order. For your convenience we have provided a recap of your order below. We're pleased you've chosen buytelco as your trusted source for high speed internet solutions.

We have listed some links below that may be helpful to take advantage of your new high-speed connection.

$12.99/month for the first 12 months. 2 free airline tickets.

Please note, the "$12.99/month for the first 12 months. 2 free airline tickets."

That's the last I heard from buytelco. They won't answer e-mails and don't return calls left in their voice mail. I contacted at&t/sbc and they disavow and promotions made thru outside companies even if these companies use at&t/sbc's name in their promotions. I received the following answer from at&t/sbc:

Dear mr sparman,

Thank you for your recent email. On behalf of at&t, I apologize for any inconvenience this matter may have caused. Unfortunately, at&t has no authority or jurisdiction over the promotional offers available at buytelco. Upon further review of their website, we have found that the service must be activated within 60 days of purchase.in addition, you will be sent your travel voucher via email 10-12 weeks after activation. I have included a link below regarding the terms and conditions. Please contact them directly for further assistance with this matter.

http://www.buytelco.net/ffa_terms.asp

If this response does not address your concern, please reply directly to this email. To ensure a timely response, do not change the subject line of your reply.

Thank you for choosing the new at&t - the culmination of at&t's passion to invent and sbc's drive to deliver. We appreciate your business and continued loyalty. Check out the new at&t at www.att.com. buytelco seems to be running a scam and I intend to do everything in that I can to see that their shoddy practices are made public.

When I placed Comcast High Speed Internet order with Buytelco, I got below confirmation e-mail from BUYTELCO.COM or ACELLER.COM saying promotion of $125.00 Amazon gift card due to signing up for Comcast through them.

Although I connected them several times about gift card during the last 4 months, I have not received the promised gift card from BUYTELCO. I will definitely let Comcast know how they do business with Comcast customers.
I wish I had signed up Comcast through www.dell.com or www.amazon.com.

We signed up for Comcast's Triple Play service back in March of this year under the promise of receiving a $250 Amazon gift card that would be graciously provided by Digital Landing/Buytelco. We made good on our end and still have NOT received the promised gift card. I've contacted Jason Gallow both via phone, as well as email and have not received a response to my complaint. I do hope he is a gentleman as others have reported. We will see.

Can someone please direct me to the appropriate BBB department to report these people? I'm also going to try and contact a government agency to see if they can assist us. Promising to deliver something and not doing so is FRAUD in my book.

I subscribed comcast through buytelco in 08/2007, and mailed everything on time according to the rebate rules. Though I have called buytelco more than 6 times since January, and emailed Jason Gallow, I never got my $150 Amazon gift card. I even complained to Better Business Bureau at Fort Worth, TX, and they said the company had moved without leaving a forwarding address. What could I do now?

I emailed Jason Gallow and was told that I should have received the gift cards through Qwest, not buytelco. Qwest said it was too late. I emailed again and told him that I should have been given this information the first time I called, not after the fifth or sixth contact. Though he said they were not responsible to fulfil the offer, he did so anyways. I have now received them as promised.

I have used buytelco a couple times. The first time, I received a gift card, but only after persistently calling them. Since then, Acceller seems to handle their communication. I ordered DSL service in February 2007, have contacted Acceller five times since then, and have yet to receive the gift card (over a year later now). Acceller says they can't give me a direct contact number (and that they can't even contact buytelco directly). All they do is pass on case files to buytelco which seem to be ignored. (I was actually told once that the gift card had been sent out on a certain date, though I never received one.) I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but there is clearly a case of fraud or incompetence here. By the way, Acceller’s phone number is [protected] if anybody needs it.

I dont know why AT&T or any of these other companies are not being sued or fined by the government. They are associated in this scam. Usually if someone is scamming in your name your just as guilty if you dont stop it if your able to. We need to fly out to these f*ckers homes and blow them up. Surely someone has a brother in the FBI to locate addresses?
