BuyDig.com - Customer service

Purchased a refurbished 83"LG TV on 8/30. After many emails, phone calls, texts, I finally talked to a"customer experience rep" and I was offered a $400 refund if I accepted delivery and changed my ratings from 1 to 5 stars. I complied with the agreement. it was finally delivered on 9/18 by some random older guy with a van. He was alone, so I had to help...

BuyDig.com General cutomer service

Shady company, beware.

I attempted a purchase of a 6000 dollar TV, from beach camera, owned by buydig. They don't attempt to charge your card until several hours after you submit, so of course I ordered in the evening, late at night and went to bed. I missed the text verification from my card company and the purchase was denied. I tried 3 times to recharge after the bank refused it but it would never go through,

I tried to re-add the item to my cart, but the extras were missing (accidental damage, gift cards), i contacted customer service via email and asked if i could get the original deal and they just said to 'call a sales person and they will give you the best price'. Fed up with this route I decided to try to order online from a different route.

Before I realized that beach camera was now owned by buydig. I went to order this model through buydig and put in a different credit card, they debited the money from my account, then after 2 days, after taking the money, buydig canceled the order. I called customer service and they said it was due to fraud alert. After they debited my account.

So long story short, buydig, debited my account 6000 dollars then decided it was fraudulent. and 1 week later I am still waiting for the money to be returned to my account.

Stay away from these guys, it's a shady operation, go to bhphoto.com or crutchfield.com or even bestbuy.com...really anyone is better than theses guys.

Desired outcome: refund my money and stop scamming people

BuyDig.com Nightmare Purchase and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

Ordered 75" Samsung The Frame and after the first one shipped was destroyed in transit, received the replacement. Checked it upon arrival and it turns on and looks good. Installed on the wall in our renovated house and it starts off working well but gets into a power cycling on and off making the television unusable. Call Samsung and Buydig where they both blame each other for various issues; Buydig claiming Samsung needs to repair the TV and Samsung telling be that the TV is not under warranty. This process started 11/12/2020 and is still unresolved 3/17/2021. Both companies have failed miserably in their responses and I consider this purchase a total loss at this point after spending 15 hours total time on the telephone trying to get a resolution. Buydig has promised they had contacted Samsung to make things right which was a total lie. Have plenty of emails and recorded phone calls to back up. DO NOT BUY FROM BUYDIG.

BuyDig.com Items not in stock

I wanted to buy a tablet from BuyDig. First of all I contacted BuyDig customer service via phone and asked was the item available and their rep assured me that it was in stock. So I made my order and was supposed to get it within two weeks and when nothing showed up I started to suspect that something wasn't right there.
I contacted them again and found out that the tablet I've ordered was no longer available. The rep I spoke to said that it was a mistake and said that they were very sorry. They promised me a refund and everything seemed fine, but days passed, weeks passed and still no money. Huge scam!

BuyDig.com BuyDig is a scam!

Ordered headphones from www.buydig.com in early March. After I paid I was supposed to get a tracking number but received it only two weeks later. About a month later I decided to ask them about my order but they did not reply. When I went online to track my order I found out that the tracking number they gave me was not working!
Customer service is a disaster. They had no idea where my order was and refused to provide me a valid tracking number. Recently I finally received the package and my headphones were broken, they did not work at all. Wanted to get a refund but since they decided to ignore my there was no way to get my money back.
Stay away! BuyDig is a scam!

BuyDig.com Shipping

Very bad customer service. If your order goes good your fine. If not your on your own. They sent me a package that didn't even have tape all the way across the top of the box. Somewhere along the shipment the lens we ordered was stolen from the box. Buydig said that they put in a claim to FedEx and after three weeks of calling their customer service department to figure out what was going on they sent me an email saying FedEx rejected the claim. I called FedEx and a claim was never opened for the shipment. I then opened my own and FedEx sent me a letter saying that they have a contract with Buydig so that only Buydig can submit a claim. How horrible is that, they can send all the poorly packaged shipments they want and then just refuse to submit a claim.
It just goes to show that a good deal doesn't always turn out to be the best way to go. Stay away from Buydig.

BuyDig.com Bait and Switch

Ordered Samsung TV. Offer stated "Purchase this Samsung C-7000 Series 3D HDTV and Get a Free Blu-ray Player (BD-C6900) and 3D Starter Kit (SSG-P2100T) (a $750 value) Offer Valid 6/13/10--6/19/10

In Stock. Usually ships the dame day
Condition: Brand New, USA Warranty"

No further instructions appeared on the webpage. Received confirmation of TV purchase; nothing about Blu-ray player or starter kit. Two days later received notice of shipping info received by shipper for 1 package. Called BuyDig to inquire about player and kit. They stated that the offer required me to order the player at the same time as the TV (a flat out lie) and that it was now too late to get either the player or the kit as part of the package offer. I told them to cancel the order. They said that it was too late, it had already shipped. and that I would be charged $160 for shipping. They then offered, if I would purchase the player separately ($300 more) to include the starter kit. I then called the shipper, who stated that the package was still in New York. I also separately verified that the original package offer (buy the TV, get the player and kit free) was available from several other vendors (Amazon, notably, for a few bucks more). Called shipper to notify him not to pick up the package, called Buydig to cancel the order again, called my credit card company to notify them of disputed charge should Buydig try outright thievery.

These people are no good. Perhaps something in their culture, maybe their environment, encourages them to believe that dishonesty is an acceptable part of dealing with others. Avoid them.

BuyDig.com Cheap tricks

Buydig.com is a scamster company. I ordered a Sony XBR 6 46". The company never shipped the product after charging my credit card. When I called to find out from them, the reasons for the delay, they said that I needed to call them to confirm the order. Confirm after charging the credit card? The fact is that they didn't have the product in stock and didn't eve bother to inform the consutemer. When I posted the same review on pricegrabber.com, the side where I accesed buydig.com, the review never made it to the posts. Be aware of buydig.com and its a scamster company.

Kiran.

BuyDig.com sent me a coupon for "$10 off your order of $50 or more". I put a Canon camera into the on-line cart and proceeded to check out. The coupon code had expired. I called customer service. Customer service handed me off to Sales. The guy at Sales told me that I couldn't use the coupon on Canon cameras. He told me to read the fine print. "COUPONS VALID ONLY AT BUYDIG.COM ON REGULAR, PROMOTIONAL AND/OR CLEARANCE PRICED ITEMS". I asked the salesman what that had to do with Canon cameras? He told me that he didn't make the rules and that I should buy a Nikon camera. Surely BuyDig.com (d.b.a. Beech Camera) must realize that there's a thing called "the Internet" and that word will get around! I'm sorry that I've ordered products from these people before.

I canceled my order then tried to order the bundled deal: http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/8579/1223201014201am.jpg deal was supposedly valid until 12/25/10 but they pulled it on 12/24 and raised the price.

Hard drive was shipped in a thin padded envelope. Not surprisingly it was damaged.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know a disk drive needs to be shipped in a box. With padding.

They saved a few bucks and I got a headache.

NOT EXPIRED! The coupon states "COUPON EXPIRES 30 DAYS AFTER RECEIPT." My receipt / invoice (#WX828800) is dated 3/10/2014.

I also bought a camera on a Friday. The company called me and left a message on a SUNDAY. I had to listen to the message 7 times to even figure out what that chick was mumbling about. I called them back the next business day. They wanted a copy of front and back of my credit card. Are you kidding me? I said cancel the order and hung up on them. I will never ever even look for anything on their website.

I ordered a camera from Buydigs.com
I payed extra to make sure it would be here before the 3 day weekend. When I got my confirmation email it had it arriving at my work ( which is closed) on Saturday. I called the place to see if they could have it held at a fed ex office they would nt do it . The operator offer me a generous offer of overnight a second camera at no extra charge and stop the shipping of the original. Sounded good. This was Wendesday morning . Come home that night I have a call to confirm my order that call them Thursday to confirm the order and he tell me ill have the camera tomorrow (Friday) All day
I checked my answer machine to make sure they wouldn’t pull that crap again I get home there is an email telling me to call them again. Call them first thing Friday confirm address says he will over night it.
Saturday morning I track the package it arrived at the airport 1 hour away at 4 am. So at 2 pm I call fedex to ask the whats up and they tell me because the shipper didn’t pay extra for Saturday shipping it wont be her till Tuesday. I was planing on taking this camera with me so now thats shot. This place is so lame they all my information from on line and over the phone a week before and had to reconfirm every thing 3 times would not buy from them again

Totally agree with you--I placed an order for a Flip UltraHD Camcorder, and after not hearing anything from the company for a week, they said they were cancelling the order because the item is 'out of stock' even though it's clearly in stock and " Usually ships the same day" on their website, although now it's listed for $30 more than the $149 it was listed for the day I purchased it. They had no problem charging my card the instant I placed my order. Infuriating behavior! I'm waiting to hear back from them about whether they'll honor the original purchase, but now my receipt of the item (which I did need in a semi-time sensitive fashion) is delayed by well over a week.
