I purchased a Asus Eee Pc from I tried to return it cause it wasn't going to do what I thought it would do. I called for a RA number and have been given the run around. I was told to call the manufacturer Asus to return it. They dias it had to returned to I have made 3 calls so far and still can't get a return authorization number. I was told corporate needed to handle this. No supervisor on site to handle the problem.

    I have the same problem with the ASUS sold by I opened a dispute with my credit card company to get a refund. The dispute was resolved in's favor based on
    false information gave to the credit card company.

    I reopened the dispute after submitting documents and recordings with customer service. I get the impression that since's customer service is located in the Philippines that they feel insulated from the FTC and any other US legal restraints.

    I will make new posts of the situation as it progresses.
