bought a voucher for afternoon tea for my husbands birthday. 10 days before the event (having confirmed months in advance) provider changes venue. I complained about this to which provider said i need to request voucher back from buyagift. When trying to get a response from customer services at buyagift i ran into following issues:

- several people responding to my issue and having to repeat myself over and over again
-no coordination/reading previous email - so again having to repeat myself
-i requested (very reasonably i think) as buyagift are company i purchased from and they are promoting unreliable companies changing plans last minute, that they be responsible for finding me an alternative (in under a week) as i do not think it is fair for this to be on me
-no apology
-no reassurance that if i book with another provider on website same thing will not happen again
-gave my mobile in all 16 emails sent back and forth yet never received a call back

so i am writing this email with my afternoon tea which is meant to be next Saturday with no plans, no assurances, confused and really annoyed about service received.

Unfortunately this company is not registered with 'resolver'!

We bought a voucher for our son which included a 3 course meal for 2 and a glass of wine plus a theatre ticket. No problem with the theatre but the meal was at zizzi's victoria and they seemed confused with voucher code on the paperwork it did not mention anything about validating the long code on line... It only said take the voucher and email, this put some stress and made the experience less enjoyable. My son took his dad and sister and it ended up with them paying an extra £26 and only having a total of 3 starters and 3 puddings + 2 wines and tap water. Which does not amount to what the voucher said. Zizzi has already apologised and sent a £40 voucher as a goodwill gesture but we feel buyagift has also some responsibility part of guilt in all this as £40 doesn't cover the full original voucher as my son had to pay an extra £26. The voucher did not cover what promised and we would like buyagift to acknowledge and offer a goodwill gesture of their own.

Please, be very careful dealing with them.
I and my husband bought a "spa days for two" voucher £119 worth with four treatments and afternoon tea in Carlisle, Cumbria and were planning to use it during new year eve weekends.
However, yesterday I was checking my email and saw a notification that our vouchers were canceled, there was no reason provided. I immediately called them and asked what happened. They had no idea but promised to refund. I didn't ask for it, though. No any other offers, no alternatives. Oh well, looks like someone will stay at home these weekends... :(

we paid for a Cotswold Castles (60 Minute Flight) cost of £220 and we got all the information by e-mail and then post. but when we arrived in Warwickshire they did not even know of this company so we had to go home w still have not had a refund from them .
