This network is a total scam they are just stealing money from people i paid almost 40 dollars because they promised new movies and at a very fast speed which did not happened at all. They don't even have a real website all their links lead you somewhere else where you can download torrents that you could get even if you were not a member. They did not responded several messages i sent them and they are really a big FAKE. I wasted my money there and i don't want anybody else to go through the same. SO please pass the word Stay away from THE BUTTERFLY DOWNLOAD NETWORK!
i got duped too but i got my money back
i used paypal to pay and as soon as i realised it was a scam..i opened a dispute and emailed everyone concerned..and after two days i got my money back!

I totally agree with the other complaints. This site is a 100% scam and needs to be addressed by the proper authorities. The site is a full loop needless sites never leading to a desired destination. This site will fustrate you and waste valuable time. Pleasepass the wword so others won't fall into its trap. This was my first and hopefully last internet scam. This one took me for about $50 dollars.

I to just paid for this service before I found out about this complaint page. so if there is something possible to class act or simply get a refund, I would like to be notified. I'm not even going to use this service
Really? Because I heard this was the best, fastest movie download network made. Didn't it win an award?
To help some of you folks who may be tempted to try this non-service, you can avoid being ripped off if you are quick enough on the draw. My experience was to find two of the linked sites had so much adware that my anti-virus program was threatening to go on strike because it was so overworked. Four other sites would not even connect to the internet, and as the other threads point out...once you have paid, forget about any support. To get around this, DO NOT WAIT FOR A RESPONSE FROM SUPPORT. After I had no reply for 8 hours I contacted my credit card provider. Since they had not yet processed the charge, they refused to accept it and put these clowns on a watch list. In fact, I nearly lost out because I didn't follow one of my own rules: as soon as you get a notification that a charge is being levied, contact your credit card provider IMMEDIATELY and have them put a hold on the transaction until you call to tell them to accept it.
And the first rule is this: since you are purchasing from an "illegal" site you have no help anywhere if you get taken. Buyer beware... CYA>.

Total scam, please please please don't give these guys any of your hard earned money. Just use Limewire or bitcomit. Hell even Movieforumz is better than this >.< Do not waste another second of your time with these people.
I was promised loads of free porn which I did not get,so the company sent me five dvd's of hardcore german porn as compensation plus my money back.
Also besides the way i told you guys to get your money back. This is a really good one that i am on! You have to download the program called BitComet as well, that is what you use to download the movies. Then if you go on TorrentSpy.com and search for a movie (you don't have to pay for anything on that site) you hit the 'download torrent' button... try searching in the search box for "AXXO", all of the movies that come up are amazing quality. After you download it you have to burn it using ConvertXtoDVD (search for that on google, you have to pay for that program, i think $40 or something), that program is fairly straight forward to use.
I wish to send my complaint to this net work i was so bummed. I just got another subscription on another network, but now i want my money back. I also paid for a couple upgrades to the site total 70 dollars what do i do MAHALO BEN NIIHAU.

I got scammed just like the rest of you but i got my money back! You need to goto the clickbank.com (which is where they transfer the money from) and complain to them and tell them you want your refund.

I'll be tearing the wings off butterflies all summer after giving these scam artists my money. If anyone has successfully gotten there refund or found this mecka of movie downloads i paid for please let me know how.

I can't believe I wasted my money on this download site. I thought I did my homework. I can't find anywhere to actually download music and movies from this site at all. I basically spent $40 for them to tell me to get limewire. What the heck. I was trying to do this legally and got duped. Don't waste your money on this one.
Butterfly Download Network takes your money to give you links that you can easily find with google.
There is no acceleration, and only gives p2p links with NO direct downloads.
DO NOT PAY FOR THIS SITE.

Thanks for the information, I almost made a bad mistake and signed up with Butterfly, but did a quick GOOGLE search for complaints regarding their site. Thanks again, not signing up now and will pass along to others!
Unfortunately I did not read your e-mail before I signed up. I couldn't even find contact info. I really don't think there is a way to cancel. It's unfortunate that they have our money. Hopefully something can be done. the comments are right- please do not sign up for butterfly downloads.
