All moms know how tough it can be to get your children up and ready to go somewhere. We get to the mall and they've cut the line off because too many people showed up. That's [censored]. No where in any of the articles posted did it say only a certain amount of people would be able to do it. I am so mad about this situation that I don't think I'll ever even bother to take my children back to build a bear. You guys really made a lot of people angry and will defiantly be losing sales from not only my family but hundreds of others. This is not right at all!

I think if you are going to announce such an event publicly you would make sure you are prepared for it. Us mothers that are low income are not able to afford your items on a normal basis. However, this event made all of us extremely excited along with our children. I have my 4 year old that turns 5 and that was her bday gift because I don't have much money and now I have to come up with a plan b. I am not blaming my money situation on your company but I am blaming the fact that you raise everyone's hope in doing such an incredible even and you have to cancel it because you were not prepared... !

I am not one to normal complain but today I went to Brighton to join the que for the "pay your age day" to be told I had to get a time slot went upto the woman and she gave us a time slot off 5.30pm. We waited around town for 4 hours with our little ones that was very unhappy, we saw the que had gone down so we tried to join the que, we then got told that the offer had been closed and we should not have been given a time slot we should have just be allowed to join the que! So my little girl misses out on a teddy that she was really excited about getting to choose today! Don't offer to do a "pay your age day" Nd then let people wait around thinking they'll get a teddy for you then to shut the offer down! I'm very annoyed and have a very upset little girl!

I attended Pay your age day with my two little boys & antie at white rose shopping centre. My antie stood and qued from 11am till we went back at 2 pm to be told I wasn't aloud to join the que even tho my antie has been queuing for us, they shouted my antie and ask her to leave the cue as she came back to where I was stood they then told us the que was closed, where unhappy little boys and a very stressed mummy, if they are going to do events like this and people have cues you shouldn't be pulling people out of the cue and then sending them away! Not happy

Took my disabled brother to build a bear as he loves bears and wanted to buy a wheelchair for his bear to match him. We went into Basildon store girl didn't really speak with us spent £20 on wheelchair and wasn't offered £5 gift voucher which you then pay £5 on top of to make it a £10 voucher. When my brother mentioned this she ignored him so I said maybe we didn't spend enough to get one he then decided he wanted to buy a dressing gown for his bear and said to the lady should I have put the two items through together to have been allowed to get a gift card to which she replied yes you will have to wait until next time you shop here and put more through till if you want a gift card. My brother left very upset and I'm confused as I'd spent £15 in this same shop just few days before and qualified for the voucher. Surely all employees should be offering same and I thought build a bear was supposed to be friendly upbeat employees there to assist and encourage spending. I'm very disappointed that my brother was not able to get gift card

Today my sons went to your St Stephens store in hull with their dad, the girl that was on the door told them it was 2 bears for 8 pound they waiting a hour to have the bears stuffed to go to the checkout to find out it wasn't 2 for 8 pound, now I have 2 very disappointed and upset children all because one of your staff gave them the wrong information. I'm very disappointed as I get alot of bears from you as both my boys love them.

I went into the build a bear store at Memorial City Mall on 11/17/2017 with the intention of buying a gift for my niece.
I went in and didn't get greeted even though I knew your employee saw me I didn't think anything of it since she was helping a customer. So as I continued to wait I lounged around the store to try to give myself an idea of what I wanted to get. After 10+ mins. your same employee continued to talk to the same customer until the conversation finally came to an end another two customers came in so I walked back to the front because I was next to be helped, so your employee looked at me knowing I had already been waiting and she completely ignored me and went off to help and speak to the customers that had barely walked in. Completly disrespectful and rude, I had never experienced this type of treatment nor customer service in any of your stores, I am disappointed that this is the type of employee you hire to help your customers. I will never come back to this location.

Hi i don't know if this is the right firm to fill in as im in the uk but i have been a customer for a couple of years now i buy the bears for my 8yr old daughter but it was recently her birthday and i had ordered 2 bears weeks before but had not received them after about 10 days i rang and emailed to be told the accessory wasn't available which was fine i still wanted the bears but another week later still no bears so i rang again to be told if i cancel my order then re order then i should receive them so i cancelled but when i went to re order they were out of stock so in between alot of emails and calls i have got nowhere im just getting ignored and as a customer i am disappointed in that all i wanted was to get my daughter bears for her birthday and iv been treated awful

I visited lakeside store yesterday purchased 2 bears for my 2 children this was a spare of the moment thing and they have loads already so was just going to get them a bear and an outfit each! my 2 children picked their bears before I knew of the girl got them over to pick sounds to put in their bears without checking with me if it was ok this cost another £8 then went to stuff them and girl with out again checking with me first if was ok asked if they wanted a scented heart this cost another £5 walked out with a £70 odd bill! they normally check with parents first I wasn't impressed can't tell them no after they've already asked them! then got out the shop few shops down my daughters £3.50 sound wasn't working went back they were good and got her to make a new one!

I'm Frequent visitor at build a bear workshop at the Greenwood Park Mall indiana. i visited the store today and they told me if i was not buying anything i have to leave the store. Their attitude was very mean and rude. I didn't say anything to escalate the horrible situation, but no customer deserves that kind of attitude. i will no longer be shopping at this store.

This was about the third I brought my daughter to build a bear in lakeside mall, louisiana. everytime my daughter ask for some bows the same cashier told her she could only have three of the same color when the lady in front of us thst she serve befor got a whole hand full and a box closet that the cashier offer to her but my child did not receive the same service at all. Ihe cashier name:HEATHER.

My complaint is simple, took grand daughter to build a bear store in oak brook, il and after watching the attended go to the whole ceremony of bring bear to life several times. when our turn around for service person harshly told granddaughter to kiss the heart and stuff it into bear filled and handed it back with out as much as a smile. so african americans beware of treatment at this store.. please i hate bringing race up but come several white kids in front got whole cermony we got the f--- shaft !
