Brooke Franchise sold me 2 insurance agencies which they represented had certain levels of income and certain insurance company contracts after purchasing from Brooke at an inflated price 5 of the major companies canceled their contracts thus running off 80% of the customers. Brooke's accounting practices are very inaccurate when concerning franchise's commissions and customers receipts. The management was spiteful and intimidating to me when ever I would not agree with them. Basically, all of the promises made when I joined, I feel, were broken. Please beware before buying a franchise from these people. Go check out the Yahoo message board for BXXX first.
These two issues led to me having to file bankruptcy after 5 years of being a franchisee. Upon Brooke's discovery of my quitting they promptly sued me for the $1.5 million note and then sued my new employer for torturous interference of a contract. Basically, Brooke failed to live up to their promises.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Doing the research before you purchase a franchise business is very important in order to avoid scams. Franchising is not an easy way to make money and get rich, it takes a lot of hard work, dedication and commitment to succeed, would like to share this franchise opportunity which I came across -

should be a great business opportunity as they have over 23 years experience in franchising, offers support without all the usual franchise fees.
Well I guess if you wanted the real story it can be found here.
This is what I found searching around. Looking to buy my own if not here with Brooke somewhere else. So I wanted to read both sides of the story. Looks like Mr. Shannon you owed this.
