I have purchased two bags of maple but goodies from a dollar general store in Ashland Ky. These candies have been a favorite of mine fire years but when I got home and open bag the candy was so hard I couldn't buy or chew it. The candy also had sold taste like the nuts were old or something. So I opened the other bag and the same experience. Checked dates both were still good dates.
I bought a bag of maple nut Goodies the best by date is 09/18/19 they are very hard you can't eat them, I have bought this candy for years I love these but if they are going to be hard like these I will no longer buy them.
I have always loved your Brachs Maple Nut Goodies, but the last 3 bags I purchased were so hard we could not eat them. I threw away the first 2. One was purchased at Walmart. the 2nd at Cracker Barrel on a road trip. The 3rd was purchased at Walmart. I would like a refund for the 3rd bag of maple goodies. 14 oz. bag Best by: 09/17/19 code:

What on earth happened to the maple nut goodies? This new version is revoltingly hard and is not at all enjoyable anymore. It now holds zero appeal and by the looks of it, I'm certainly not alone. Well that sucks! Another classic candy down the tubes because someone decided to update the recipe. Yuck!
I bought a bag of Brach's maple nut goodies and it's like biting on a rock, this is the second time we have had this bad experience. I thought they might have been outdated but the best by date is 4/29/2019, code is 8G30BB182.

What a shame, I have the same complaint as the others. Candy was so hard, I had to throw it out for fear of breaking my teeth. Best if use by date 10/10/2018. Brach must have change something, I never experience this problem. 8A10BB182.
Please bring back the old Maple nut goodies! The ones I have bought within the last year have been so hard you cannot eat them. My sister and I have been eating these for years and we are on the verge of going into withdraw due to not having our Maple nut goodies. There are off brands of these out there, but they do not compare to the ones that Brach's used to sell. Please make two old ladies very happy before we die and bring back the great Maple nut goodies.

My complaint is the same as above. We bought a large bag of maple nut goodies and we simply can't eat them they are so hard We are very disappointed because they have been our favorite for years. Product code on bag8D28...Sorry I can't make out the rest of the code, it has smeared. this candy is not expired. We purchased the 20 oz bag.
I am very disappointed. I bought a bag of maple goodies to share the Great Taste with my wife and children. Opened them up past them out and they about broke our teeth trying to eat them. I don't want a refund, just a fresh bag so they can try them and I can enjoy the same great taste that I enjoyed as a child. Product code on bag is 8A24BB182. Best by 10/24/2018.
Bought a bag of Maple Nut from Walmart size 14oz bag. They where hard and looked like they where in a place of heat. The outer coding was flat and no
taste what so ever. When bitten into very hard and a stale taste. This is one of my most favorite candies for the last 60 years. So something happened in shipment from the factory to the warehouse or from the warehouse to the store. I have had this candy and it always has been fresh. So not happy but tossed it out. I believe I had the same complaint a year or two ago about the maple nut goodies. Thought they were just old because they were so hard! What’s the “freshness guarantee”?

Maple not good has been a favorite of mine for a long time. My grandsons brought me over a bag for my 71st birthday, yet when we got in them they were very hard. I just brought a bag of maple nut Goodie's from dollar general in neeses s.c.and I'm ddissatisfied with them. The shell of the candy almost creamy like, the inside portion of the candy is rock hard and un chewable. Get this the expiration date on the bag is 1/31/2018. This is very disappointing. My husband bought two bags of the Brach's Mable Nut Goodies from a Dollar General store with best by date of 11/25/2017. I know this brand of candy is very good because I've eaten them when I was a young girl growing up. When we opened the first bag, the candies was so hard in the middle that we couldn't hardly bite through them. We open the second and found that they were as hard as the ones in the first bag.
