We bought a 14 oz bag of Baruch's Maple Nut Goodies a month ago. The candy was soft outside and inside. No crunchy toffee. We've eaten this candy since we were young . I'm now 66 years old and never had this problem. I thought maybe it had gotten hot and that messed it up.
A few days ago we bought another 14 oz bag of Baruch's Maple Nut Goodies which we bought from Wall-Mart . The candy is soft and mushy. The best by date if 02/03/2018 and the number under that is 7E06CCBB214. We were going to throw it in the trash but decided to write to you. I'll keep the bag of candy in case you want it returned.
Again, wave eaten this candy for years and never had this problem. It is all soft ad tastes nothing like it usually does.

Hello' My wife and I brought a 14 ounce bag of Maple Nut Goodies on 6/13/2017 from Walmart in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with a best by: date of 01/01/2018 the bar code number is 0 [protected] 4 and The Number Below The Best By Date is 7d03ccbb314 they were as Hard as rocks and stale! I even broke a part of my tooth! trying to bite into one of them. I have purchased this item many, many, times over the past 30 years, and have never had any problems with this product. Purchased a small bag of Maple Nut Goodies along with my paint and other items at a local Menards on June 11, 2017. I know the cost was only about a buck, but .. Normally these are always fresh and good. This bag is like rock hard and taste awful. I see the Best By date is 1/15/2018. The number above the Best By date is 7D17BB182 Never had this happen with a Brach product. The Menards is located in Eden Prairie, MN 55344. I would Ike a coupon if possible to get a different bag - These Maple Nut goodies are one of my favorites.

Purchase two bags of maple nut goodies at Dollar general in Yuma Colorado a few days ago. Have always been one of my favorite candy. This time I was very disappointed as the outside was kinda wierd and the inside was so hard you can't bite them. Experation date says 12-05-17. Code on package is C07BB182. Very disappointed. We purchased a bag of Maple Nut Goodies on 6/1/17 at Menards in Marshall Mn. They are absolutely awful. The outside is soft and almost oily. The inside is extremely hard and almost seems like it has a coconut texture to it. We had bought a bag a couple months ago and it was the same. We just thought we had gotten a bad bag so thought we would try it again. We would like a refund, should we return it to Menards or send it to your company? We are very disappointed.

I bought a bag of Maple Nut Goodies at Menards in Minot, ND on 6/2/17 & it's the worst bag I've ever bought. The outside is soft & tastes kind of oily & the inside is so hard I felt lucky I didn't break a tooth when I bit into the first one. I thought maybe I'd got a bag that was expired but the expiration date is 1/18/2018. So then I thought maybe I'd gotten hold of a bad piece. Nope, I tried 3 more pieces & decided to quit before I had a big dental bill. The rest went in the garbage. I would like the bag replaced if I can get one like they should be. If not, I would like a refund of $3.69 plus 7.5% sales tax.

We bought a bag of maple nut goodies from Menards in Iowa City, Iowa on 6-5-2017 and they are so hard we can not chew them at all. We would like a refund. We have bought may bags with no issues before. We would like to continue buying them in the future. We love the Brachs candies and buy many bags of candies when going to movies or just staying at home. We have never bought a bag of maple nut goodies that have been so hard that we can not chew them. At first we thought maybe they were a expired bag but when checked they do not expire until 2018. Maybe they were cooked too long and this made them hard plus they have a different taste about them. They do not taste like they maple nut goodies we are use to. They ones we are use to are softer and have a wonderful maple taste. These do not. Thanks you for your time.

I have been purchasing these delicious Brach orange slices for years and cannot seem to find them in any of the grocery or drug stores in this area. I live in the Sacramento, Ca. area and have also tried finding them on line and cannot. Have you stopped distributing them? If not could you tell me who carries them and how I can purchase them.

I again purchased a bag of Maple Nut Goodies. They art still hard and uneatable. I was told around three months ago that the company was revising their mfg. process. They should go back with the old recipe and customers would once again enjoy the product. They don't even taste the same as the "old" maple nut goodies.

I have been a lover of maple nut goodies for years. The last two times I have purchased said product the crunchy toffee middle has been hard as a rock. Although the candy has over a year until they expire, they taste completely different than they candy I have come to love. I am heart-broken that I can not have a good experience with these candies anymore. Please return to the original recipe for these beloved, wonderful candies.

What has happened to Maple Nut Goodies? The outside coating is not the same, and the inside is hard as rock. Outside is soft and makes a mess on your hand. Never used to do that! Flavor is not the same either. A person could break a tooth trying to bite into one of these. Purchased a bag on June 3 with "best by" date of 11/30/2017. Such a disappointment! If this is a new recipe, we won't be buying them anymore.

Most of my life I have enjoyed the taste and freshness of the maple nut goodies but today as with the last couple of times I have purchased your product the nuts inside the candy coating has been too hard to crunch much less eat. The last two bags instead of trying to break into your candy I just gave up and feed them to my pit bulls . They had no problem breaking them in pieces. Sorry but this is unacceptable especially at the price candy is costing the consumer today. The bag I purchased today said best by 12/05/2017 I hate to think what they would taste like at that date . I have previously purchased many bags of maple nut goodies all very tasty and good except for the last three bags. Toady's date is 5/31/17 and the purchase was made at ROSES dept store in Florence SC.

I bought two bags and I am afraid to open the other bag because the bag I have already opened is really crunchy like peanut brittle and the outside coating is kind of sticky. I love those candies but I have never been as disappointed as I was with this bag. You did not change the candy on purpose; did you? How can I get some fresh Maple Nut Goodies?

I bought 2 bags at Dollar Tree. I got it home and it was really different and neither me nor my kids could eat it. The shell was soft and gooey but the inside was rock hard and my husband broke whose tooth on it. We opened the second bad and it was just as bad. They were bought on May 26h and have a sell by date of 12/07/2017. The code numbers were 7C09BB182

Ive always Loved them but unfortunately I have recently purchased a bag of maple nut goodies from phillips 66 in High Ridge MO, and they were harder than glass. So hard that it caused my tooth to jam and become lose.. But my Love for your maple nut goodies is strong and I dare to purchase another bag of maple nut goodies, From a different store, 30 miles away at a Dollar General in Cedar HIll MO, and the candy was disguisting and harder than glass... please answer my questions of why this is? and that can I get me some good Maple Nut Goodies sent to my address now cuz this is ridicules, ... please and thankyou and God Bless

I bought a 20 ounce bag of Maple Nut Goodies on 5/22/17 with a best by: date of 11/24/17 and they were so hard I could not bite into them. I have purchased this item many times over the years and have never had any problems with the product. This item was purchased at a Menard's Store in Wichita, Ks and I live in Newton, Ks so when I tried to eat the candy I was very disappointed in this bag.

So disappointed in the change in Brach's Maple Nut Goodies. Over several months, I have purchased five 7 ounce bags of the candy and threw each bag away after eating one or two pieces. The outer shell was soft and damp feeling and the inside was hard and difficult to chew instead of the hard outer shell and chewy inside that Maple Nut Goodies have had for years. The two bags that I bought today will be thrown away because no one wants to eat them. The candies were purchased at WalMart and at Walgreen's. They were not past the expiration date.
The numbers on the bags that were purchased at Walgreen's on 5/22/2017 are: 7B22BB183 Best By: 11/22/2017.

Today -- 5/19/2017 I purchased a bag of the above and am VERY DISAPPOINTED ... the candy is HARD and STALE and I nearly broke a tooth trying to chew one ... the following is on the right back lower corner of the bag ; 7B01BB182 Best by : 11/01/207 . I purchased this candy at Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. -- store# 3790 257 East Barnett Rd., Suite 100, Medford, Oregon [protected] ... I have purchased this same candy in the past and it was almost always soft and fresh tasting . I have the bag of candy if you want me to send it to you . Just let me know .

I purchased a bag of 315 pieces mints for treat bags for our church elderly ladies for mothers day.
I had given over half of the bag away before I discovered the candy did not have the strong mint flavor that they usually have. There was too many gone to return to the Walmart in Laplace, LA 70068.

What can be done to resolve this matter?
