I ordered some Border City Audio headphones and paid through wedopay. I haven’t received the headphones and emailed the website and wedopay numerous times. I asked for a refund and am still waiting and holding my breath.

I got a pair of Bose in early March, then due to an alleged screwup with Paypal they said they could offer me two more for no charge. I should have seen the red flag but Tim Duncan (real name?) phoned and said it would be a sale then a credit from paypal. Obviously I did not get the two pair, paypal payment went through but they can't do anything as it is over 45 days old. Better Business Bureau said mail is being returned. My emails and phone calls (well over 3 dozen) are all unanswered. (a couple emails were answered with no information) I filed a complaint with FBI Internet Fraud and will doing same with USPS Mail Fraud Div. Your best bet is IF the charge went through your bank credit card you can ask the bank to investigate based on non delivery of goods and/or non delivery of refund. This take a few months but sometimes works. In my case my bank contacted paypal and paypal agreed to re-open the dispute.

Avoid this company at all costs. I purchased a phone from them thinking I would save a bit as well, but I should have known it was too good to be true. They actually sent me a fake (cloned phone). They told me they would refund me or exchange it for another phone but after months of getting the run around and excuses after excuse they just started avoiding all my attempts of correspondence. I reported them as well to the BBB and reported them to the RCMP fraud dept.

MyDaisyDuke,

You are correct; I should have bought in person, but it is a very long drive to Windsor for me and it would have cost me the savings in gas, plus to return the product afterwards.
Also, in hindsight, I should have checked for customer reviews and I would have known not to do business with them.
Human nature got the best of me, as I stood to save $200, which, also in hind sight should have raised a red flag; ie: how can they retail at $150 below retail with taxes and shipping included.
Well, reading the recent customer reviews, at least I can say, I was not alone to get sucked into this, although that is of little consolation.
However, it does not mean that they can go on stealing people's money with impunity.
People tend t trust people and naive as it may seem, I believe and trust people, ...in general.

Ming Chan,
You should have bought the headphones in person.

I had returned a defective headphone, for which they had agreed to a full refund, plus postage.
That was in February 2013 Since then, they have completely ignored my may emails and telephone calls. I have also filed a complain with Better Business Bureau, but they are also being ignored, apparently. Seems that they can do whatever they want and rip off people with no consequences. Very frustrating!
