BookAirfare It's a scam

My complaint is like the many others. I booked a ticket through them and never received it. I thought that my flight was cancelled and asked myself logical questions kind of why I wasn't notified about it... But that wasn't true because I made a call to the airlines and they didn't confirm the cancellation, everything was fine.
So BookAirfare never sends tickets to their customers. When you call to clarify they will say that your tickets for the price you reserved are not available anymore and offer you the more expensive ones. How convenient. For them.
Terrible customers' treatment. Horrible.

BookAirfare purchasing plane tickets

BookAirfare is the worst ever! I bought tickets from Washington to Denmark yesterday morning...they e-mailed me a confirmation for all of the flights. I contacted the airline directly to select seats but on one of the flights, my wife and I could not sit together but grabbed them anyway and maybe try later to change seats.

I contacted the airline a few hours later and noticed the flights were not listed. The airline told me that no E-tickets were not issued for some reason and to contact BookAirfare. BookAirfare told me that my credit card supposedly did not go through and they sent me an e-mail. No E-MAIL WAS SENT. I checked the junk mail and spam folders...nothing from BookAirfare. They did tell me that seats ($750 x 2) were still available BUT the price was now $200 more. WHAT A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS THEY ARE! AVOID! I would rather walk than fly with BookAirfare.

BookAirfare Ticket

I had to have my flight to Vietnam reticketed and was only able to do so after placing over 20 calls to the company. The response I received to many of my calls was that the issue was being handled by the company's "concern department." Every time I called I was put on hold and then told I would be emailed with the outcome once the issue was resolved. When I finally received an email from Martin Sanders in Customer Service it simply told me to call back again. The email also indicated that my issue was low priority, even though I was told otherwise:

Evidently they were not concerned whatsoever because no action was taken for 12 hours after my initial call. Finally, at midnight on July 23rd, I was told that my ticket was being reissued and asked to pay $900 in penalties which I agreed to do in order to catch a flight on the 24th. That morning I arrived at the airport, only to be told there was no ticket in my name. When I called the company, they kept giving me a ticket number which did me no good whatsoever because the airline had no record of it and turned me away. Needless to say I rented a car, drove back to Oregon and have an additional $1500 in credit card debt with no vacation to show for it, just 36 hours of extreme frustration with this company in Seattle. I would like the amour I was charged -$939 - credited back to my account.

BookAirfare They said that I need to pay some extra to get a refund!!

BookAirfare is not to be trusted! They contacted me and told that due to some circumstances my flight was cancelled and offered me a refund. Everything seemed fine and I was very grateful that they contacted me and they seemed like a nice people. They said that I would get a refund in few weeks. I was ok with that. But two weeks passed and there was no money so I contacted them and was told that they need additional 7 weeks to give me my money back. 7 weeks! Several days ago I received a message that they are ready to refund me but I need to pay upfront charges of $200! No way I'm doing that! These people are real thieves!

BookAirfare Worst travel agency ever

I wanted to buy a ticket and went BookAirfare website. I entered all of my personal information into their system, including my credit card information. But for some reason I could not authorize, every time I tried there was an error. I tried several more times, but the same error appeared. So I immediately contacted customer service and was put on hold for about 20 minutes. Was told I could leave a voicemail to receive a call back from a rep. I did so, but no one ever called me back. I also sent them several messages, but there was no response. So I gave up and went to another website, where I finally bought a ticket! Don't think I will be using their services again.

BookAirfare Horrible company!

I usually don't write bad reviews, but this time I decided to write one. This company is completely unprofessional. I booked three tickets for my family. Two days later received a message 2 stating that two of our reservations were "on hold" and asking me to contact them as soon as possible. I tired to contact via phone and email several times, but it was useless. No one ever answered the phone and never replied to my emails. Well, there was a confirmation that they reserved seats, but few days later canceled the reservation. We didn't know anything about the cancellation other than the message saying that part of our reservation was "on hold". Horrible company! They should do us all a favor and shut down their awful website!

BookAirfare I didn't get info about the flight and hotel

I booked hotel and tickets through the company www.bookairfare.com. These jerks only took money from me, but they haven’t provided any confirmation info or even the precise info about the flight. I was shocked and started to send emails to the rep. No one replied. Now I’m in panic and no idea what to do now. I wonder if there are people, who have the same problems and what have you done in such situation, please post comments.

BookAirfare Double charges

I bought 2 tickets for a total purchase price of $206.60 last March, 17th and I have been charge twice for that
transaction. I called many times my Bank, the airline and the company (Book Airfare) where I booked my tickets to sort this out and be reimbursed. Every time I spoke with one of their agents, they told me my request is in progress, and I should be reimburse very soon.
After 15 days nothing has change, and I still see the double charges on my bank account. I did everything they told me to do but I can't see a happy ending at my current situation. I would be very grateful for any advice.Thanks a lot.

BookAirfare Some charges and no info about my flight

People, stay away from the website www.bookairfare.com. I booked the flight from them, but they took some deposit from me and another two sums as well. I checked my account and was really shocked, ‘coz I wasted really large sum. As well as they haven’t provided full info about the flight and stopped to communicate with me. They are liars and scammers, so be careful and better avoid them. As well as post comments about your experience with them.

BookAirfare The rep booked flight for wrong date and no help after that

I booked flight through the company www.bookairfare.com. I don’t advise this company to other people. I booked flight, but these jerks mixed the dates and I was shocked when I got the confirmation. I asked the customer services to change the info, ‘coz it was too important, but they tipped-toed around the matter and did nothing. I booked another flight through different company. The services were bad and not recommended company.

stay away fro this airline. They emailed me to tell me, after my email here and after 5 months! telling me they will look at it and nothing happened. Plenty of places that are reliable with good prices out there. I truly thought they would correct their "mishap" but no.

I just booked a flight with them last night and got a confirmation with different times! Even thought the airline said they could cancel within 24 hours but bookairfare.com refused. But they offered to change the flight for a "small" additional fee. After some research, which I should have done before, the discovered this company is known for these "bait and switch" tactics. I will never use them again and will do my best to post the experience in as many places as possible. STAY AWAY FROM BOOKAIRFARE.COM.

have sent several emails I am still waiting for the 60% refund and or a travel voucher. I have contacted plenty of organizations in this regard

I work with 300 US Institutions in the US directing Study Abroad Programs. I advice my students all the time on where to purchase tickets and I have never been in this situation in my life. At this point I ask for a refund to my credit card right away, otherwise I am sending this email to the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, my credit card and my organization that works with Deans of Study Abroad offices in the US and the UK.

April 21, 2015 - Today, a recorded call to a third party reseller for Delta Airlines, located in Dubai, the Persian Gulf - known as the United Arab Emirates. Countless complaints have been filed against this company for scamming customers. Several calls to Dubai and Delta management and Media headquarters in the USA have resulted in the usual "passing the buck" for responsibilty. This video is a part one, a short clip Trailer before the News Story is published. What is becoming apparent, is that Delta Airlines is not customer friendly as was the case with: "Baraka Kanaan, unable to walk, was made to crawl down two Delta airplane aisles and across the tarmacs after the airline failed to provide him with adequate wheelchair accommodations, his lawsuit claims. There were a great number of people watching, and the experience caused Mr. Kanaan great physical and emotional suffering." -- The complaints against Delta Airlines that put porofit far above care of passengers, has several thousands of complaints.
