I have been suffering with migraines and other system and the doctor/practice preys on the desperation of the sick and takes advantage of them for finacial gain.
I conducted the initial blood and saliva testing before seeing the doctor for the first time. I went along with her plan for numerous vitamins, supplements and medications. At one point I was swallowing 33 pills a day as well as getting bi weekly and daily injections of vitamins. The pharmacy bill was through the roof as were the office visits and phone conferences. The doctor even stopped replying to my emails-which were not frequent. Instead of replying for my questions as a concerned patient suffering from the side effects of what I recently came to learn was unnecessary and dangerous treatment, she sent me notice that replying to an email would be billable! $150 if I am remembering correctly. I saved all records. After 8 months of not feeling better (actually feeling worse) I decided to leave BodyLogic. I took all of my BodyLogic records and results, including the initial blood and saliva testing taken just a few weeks PRIOR to seeing the doctor for the first time to a major NYC Medical Center. There I saw a neurologis, endocrinologist, GI doctor, gynecologist and nutritionist (all of whom consult each other). The read all of my results from BodyLogic and told me I was NEVER deficicient in ANY of the vitamins I was taking. The bodylogic doctor told me I was extremely deficient in many vitamins. New tests were run and I was told at this major NC Medical Center that I had potentially dangerous amounts of these vitamins and supplements in my system. In addition, BodyLogic was treating me for under active thyroid with medication. After reviewing BodyLogics lab results, the endocrinologist at the major NY Medical Center said my thyroid was NEVER underactive or even borderline underactive. Coming off of the medication was a pain and now I'm losing my hair as a result. I was spending about $200 a month on vitamins, supplements and medications I did not need. The BodyLogic doctor also had me on estrogen. My new neurologist had me see the gynecologist that day to find out how to get off the estrogen since I have migraine with aura, which the BodyLogic doctor was aware of.
It is not easy to leave the BodyLogic practice either. When I notified them I would not be scheduling a follow-up I began receiving annoying emails from the office. I ignored a few then got mad and responded something similar to the aboce. I cc'd the doctor. She responded to me accusing me of being depressed and refusing to start antidepressants as per her past suggestion. I have NEVER been depressed. AND EVEN if I was it is not ethical or medically appropriate to place a patient on supplements she does not need or medications to treat illnesses she does not. Obviously they make most of their money on prescribing such supplements and medications. BodyLOgic is a joke, robbery and unethical practice! Save you money and your health and stay clear!

I've been using bodylogics for years & help extremely naive that I never realized how big of a scam artist biologics really is. Any Dr who thinks they're worth $445 plus the testing & one months prescription that totals $945 in ONE month! that is absolutely ridiculous being that your "goal" is to help others. Thing is, I still feel just as crappy as I did before I wasted thousands of dollars on this scam. Dr Phyllis Okereke is the worst! Why charge me if you can't speak clear & proper English & expect me to listen to the majority of MY appointment time listening to her life stories that I couldn't care less to hear & then charging me for wasting MY time! That woman is out of her damn mind & so is body logic for being the scammers you all are. Body logics does NOT want to help you feel better they JUST want to rip you off & try convincing you they're there to help. Calling major BS on this! Worst Drs & scam EVER! Making people with hormone imbalances victims is just sick & sad. May God not have mercy on yalls scamming souls!

Hi Sarah,
Instead of replying every complaint with the same "copy-paste answer of email me", why doesn't BodyLogicMD change/improve the practice?
What's this with email response billable for $150? Could there be anything more ridiculous?
