I brought a 30 ft. Sea Ray down the Ohio River 800 Miles and during the trip was ran aground by a tow boat. This made the boat need repairs (it was to be operated as part of a charity for terminally ill children) I took the boat to Jake Raibley of Boats & Toys 5950 E. Morgan Ave. Evansville Indiana 47715 for repairs.

He had me pay him $2, 000 dollars in cash, before he started any repairs. All they did was either steal stuff off the boat, intentionally trash it, . or broke things. I paid him for new parts and things to be fixed, nothing was ever fixed he stuck the money in his pocket, so he could keep up a 20 year old and her kids.

I am severely up set because of all his lies, and the fact he knew the boats only purpose was for children that diagnosed with a terminal illness. I live in my car for 2 years to make this happen, it was for Emerald Coast Ministries which is a not-for-profit charity, to which I am part of, I am operational director for this charity. What he did to this boat has made it worthless, we are hard pressed how to get money for another one, so we can do for these children that are dying from horrible diseases.

I was also ripped off by this business. They were supposed to lay carpet in my boat. I had already removed the old carpet and purchased the new. They said they would have I done In about a week since all they had to do was lay it. They gave me a price of $350. After three weeks of them making excuses they finally said they were done. When picking up my boat I noticed they did not wrap the carpet under all of the lids on the deck. Every time I open and close my lids it pulls the new carpet back, and it is already coming up in places. I was going to just pay and get out of there to avoid conflict but when I went to pay the original price of $350 has now changed to $950. I was so mad they were asking a higher amount for a bad job. My husband negotiated while I tried loading my boat. I also suspect them vandalizing our boat. We paid a price I regret and still have a boat that needs the carpet redone, plus a few extra problems I think they caused. Everyone I associate with knows this is a bad business!
