SUBMIT A COMPLAINT blaze steam iron

My sister bought the iron in 2016 September, it was mu mother's gift which she never uses straight away. A month pr so later she discovered that the iron was not working. We tried sending it back to amanzimtoti where it was bought, we were told that they can't accept it since the receipt was lost. We were told that it is the company's policy. What is sad is that till today my mom is sitting with a brand new, not workung product that was purchased atR399.95 and it is still under warranty and still have the price on as well as all the paperwork. Tags etc I don't understand how such a big company could have such a policy that violates customer's rights. I would like someone to please explain it to me, thanks
