Robert Lupoli called regarding Timeshare resale. He said BML Marketing Co. was better than normal Timeshare resale company. He promised an advertisement on 6 web sites, sales ads submitted to over 1200 search generators. He also said the property would be marketed through targeted traffic and promotional presentations. The next day 10/30/2008 he emailed the credit card receipt and contract that I was supposed to sign and return to him. The receipt was from Timeshare Solutions for sales ads with 3 web pages. It was from a company (Timeshare Solutions) that I had never heard of and not for what we discussed. Making your sales pitch under one company name and billing under another is not right. He also forgot to mention the numerous BBB complaints (44 now) against his company. I
immediately emailed him back (10/30/2008)and told him to reverse the credit card transaction and that I did not want to deal with such an unethical company. I filed a complaint with the BBB and master card, but he refused to refund the $450.00 that he fraudulently charged against my card. I did not agree to any money being charged by Timeshare Solutions, I did not agree to 3 web pages instead of 6 web sites, I cancelled 10/30/2008 before contract was ever signed
and prior to any web pages were developed. My information was taken under fraudulent circumstances and services were not provided. The web page url's was sent to me on 11/09/2008. The web sites were not user friendly and hard to manipulate through. Photocopies of of the web pages were sent USPS later, but since I had requested everything be cancelled on 10/30/2008 I considered them to be unsolicited mail and did not return them. They have scammed enough money from me. Why should I waste more money on postage to send copies back to them?

    I too, unfortunately, have had what I believe to be a very negative experience with BML Marketing regarding the sale of my timeshare. I can't say with 100% certainty that I've been defrauded, but it sure as hell feels that way.

    I was contacted in July /08 to sell my timeshare thru BML. The telemarketer told me repeatedly, that aside from listing my timeshare unit on 4 - 6 websites, that the best part of their program was that they routinely have seminars where guests are invited to participate where they conduct the same type of sales presentations as the timeshare companies utilize, so that I could get at least $15, 000 for my timeshare in Las Vegas (which is a great unit)... I just need to raise money by selling it ASAP.

    I was quoted a rate of about $900, where they finally dropped it to $500, which I paid.,

    It's been almost a year - no activity. Whenever I've called the salesperson, my calls go to voicemail and never get a call back - I'm assuming the guy doesn't work for them anymore.

    I called the company today and after about 5 - 10 minutes was put thru to a gentleman who said he was Bill Lupoli, BML's President, who also claimed to own Timeshare Solutions.

    As I spoke to Mr. Lupoli, I felt like I'd made a serious error in listing with his company. When I expressed my concern, he invited me to come to his office to see how my property was being listed and presented, something which isn't realistic at this time. When I stated, quite frankly, what he could tell me that would dissuade me from feeling I'd been defrauded and complaining to appropriate agencies, he simply stated that if I filed a false report regarding his companies, that he'd take me to court to seek compensation (I've paraphrased). I never threatened him, and this further convinced me that I had been defrauded in agreeing to work w/ the company. I told him that I was concerned how he'd threatened me when I'd simply asked a question - causing me to feel a good deal more certain that I was never going to see any action on my timeshare. No real response to my concerns, only not so veiled threats.

    My timeshare is indeed listed on 3 websites, that are not particularly user friendly. There's no real sequencing of the listings, from what I can see. One would have to go thru many many pages of listings to find one's ad. I seriously doubt if many people have sold thru this company.

    When I asked Mr. Lupoli how many timeshares were actively listed w/ his company, he couldn't tell me. When I pushed he stated that in the past 8 years they had about 10, 000 active listings. I then asked approx how many had been sold and he couldn't answer that. When pushed further, he estimated about 2500. Over an 8 yr period they've sold only about 25% of listings - a rather poor record from my perspective. I pointed this out to him and he continued along the lines of he really had know way of knowing how many sales were made through the methods his company utilized.

    Isn't it the role of any business person to have a fairly good idea of their inventory and sales??? So, after reading this, doesn't anyone believe this company is straight forward and upfront??? The BBB rates his company at "C-"!!!

    This is a falsely stated complaint...It is slanderous and libelous. The complaints board will be sued.
