Blazing Keywords Work-at-home scam

Last May, my husband's brother was looking for work. He was living at our house, and searching online for jobs. He came across an ad from Google offering an info. packet for a work-at-home job. The packet cost $ .99 to order. My bro-in-law didn't have a credit card of his own at the time, so we let him borrow ours to order the info. packet. The packet never came. My brother-in-law found another job. We all but forgot about the transaction.

Over the next 8 months, our credit card incurred multiple unrecognized charges from multiple companies. The charge amounts were the same each month, but the company names listed on the credit card statements kept changing. Charges for $72.21 showed up from "Google Genie", "Blazing Keywords", and "Online Services". Charges for $38.34 showed up from "Web Services", "ECO Career Help", "Products Resource", "DCY Grants", and "Grants 4 Us". Charges for $29.90 showed up from "ID PowerSafe", "Credit-4-Me", and "Access Member Area". I didn't notice the charges at first, because I didn't know to even look for them, and the names kept changing so I didn't know they were all related. Finally, after calling the numbers listed on my credit card statements, I came to realize they were all linked back to that $ .99 info packet that my brother-in-law ordered and never received.

Over the past 8 months, we have incurred a total of $859.58 of unauthorized transactions on our credit card, all believed to have stemmed from the "work at home" online scam. I've since canceled my credit card, and filed disputes on all of the charges. I have yet to find out if I will be reimbursed for them or not.

Blazing Keywords Unauthorized debiting of my checking account

After agreeing to take a look at their offering to earn money working from home, my wife cancelled their service within the 7-day trial period. Two months later we realized Blazing Keywords, operating under a variety of business names, had debited more than $450 from our bank account without, of course, being authorized to do so. We called them and cancelled their service once again. They agreed to cancel, but have continued to debit close to $70 more from our bank account. So, we have been forced to cancel the debit card they had been using. On one call to their customer support call center they gave us an e-mail address where we could demand a refund of our money. We wrote, with a detailed list of the many charges; we have had no response. As a result, we are filing a formal complaint with the Utah State Division of Consumer Protection.

Blazing Keywords Credit card rip off

Be aware of blazing keywords this is the website that will steal from you

Http: / / www. Blazingkeywords.com /

- i never ordered anything from this company, and they did not have my authoriztion to steal money from my credit card.
First, it weeks for my credit card company to find out who these people were, putting charges on my credit card, at 3 and 4 am, this is what you'll see on your credit card. The phone number on the transaction is bogus, [protected] was busy, 24 / 7.
They are not located in utah, they are in another country. They use bogus company names when they take money off your credit card, so you can't find them.
Who is a1 member? Who is powersale? The credit card company traced the transactions to this website. I don't know how they got my credit card information, and they refuse to refund my money. The representitives, can hardly speak english. And they just hang up the phone when you try to talk to them.

I see i am not alone in this scenario. i have found a charge in my bank account for the amount of $38.84 to a company Powersale.
I check my account everyday and as soon as i saw it, I called my bank and had a stop put on my account. After reading this column, I'm very glad i did. For the last several days I have been calling the number listed on my bank statement, but all i get is as busy signal. Lucus G. I called the number you stated and actually got a real person who instructed me to send an e-mail to Grantmasters online. So I will try it that way, but I'm not holding my breath. After reading some of your stories, I'm just thankful it was'nt more

This company is a complete scam. Just like Chrissy1 stated earlier. This company is the same company that is charging my credit card under different names. I just caleld the number above [protected] and they stated to me Powersale and GrantMasters are the same. Another charge was under the name A1 Member. The following is what they've charged me.

Powersale - June 26 -45.44cdn
Grant Masters - June 3 - 43.83cdn
A1 Member - May 22-83.48cdn
A1 Member - May 3 - 2.37cdn
Totalling $175.12cdn.

the girl at Grantmasters told me i have to email them to get my refund at support@grantmastersonline.com. the problem is i've never recieved and email nor any correspondence in the mail from these people so i honestly dont' even know what i paid for.

so again beware. the company goes by 3 names Powersale, Grant Masters and A1 member. I should see if i get the refund within 10 days, i'll let you guys know. A1 actually has already promised me the refund so we'll see.

Blazing Keywords unauthorized charges

I responded to an ad online advertising some sort of work concerning Google that cost $1.97. I looked it over and was supposed to receive a package in the mail explaining how to get started. I received an e-mail from Blazing Keywords with trial account information. Nothing in the ad that I responded to mentioned this being a trial of any sort. My account was charged $1.99 and then a few days later, I received a phone call at 12:18 a.m. supposedly from this company wanting to verify my information for "security purposes". I hesitated and even asked them why they needed this information since the money had already been debited from my account. It was after midnight and I continued to listen to the caller. I couldn't understand a word that he was saying because he was speaking so fast. When he finished, he asked if I had any questions and I told him that I didn't understand anything that he said and I asked him if this was a trial that I would be charged for if I didn't cancel by a certain time. He said "yes" and I told him that I did not want the trial and that I was not authorizing any charges to come out of my account. That was May 28 and today, June 1, a charge for $72.21 showed up on my account that will come out on June 4. The phone number that was listed with the charge was not a legitimate number. I went back to my caller id and called the number that the midnight call had come from and it was a local cell phone number. The number had been "spoofed" to show up on my caller id - the call did not originate from that number. I have called my bank and they are working with me to recover my money. I also called the customer service number for the "Blazing Keywords" company that I made the $1.99 purchase from and requested that my "trial" with them be cancelled and told them what had happened and that I wanted the money returned to my account. I don't usually get fooled by this sort of thing, but it was after midnight and I was half-asleep! Learn a lesson from me - DON'T EVER GIVE OUT FINANCIAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE TO SOMEONE WHO CALLS YOU TO "VERIFY" SOMETHING!

On 05/15/2009 I visited the Home Source work at home web site which was discussed on the Today show as being one of the more reputable firms with honest programs. So, I got brave and paid $1.97 plus $0.15 tax to down lo9ad the CD, which I did. The next thing I know, I got hit with a $39.95 monthly membership fee? for what? I only rodered the CD download. When I called, I found quite to my surprise that that cancellation generated FIVE cancellation confirmation e-mails. Today, I discovered another charge to may acount for Blazing Keywords, also connect4ed to the one CD purchase..$72.21 monthly membership for the Blazing Keywords Kit and support.
I did not order this and I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING. I was given a cancellation number: [protected] with the assurance there would be no more charges; but they refused to refund the $72.21! Said I had to write to corporate at the above address. Where do I go from here? I see I have lots of company!

Sincerely,

Karen Wiese

I was taken in by "Blazing Key Words" they in turn gave my information to Grant Masters.com [protected]). I called and spoke with Carlos Alvares who is located in one of these third world countries.

I have called and called and they are still in business stealing from more unsuspecting consumers and might I add where the h-ll is our government and what kind of protection do we consumers have.

Yes before I forget Carlos told me he was located in Costa Rico. Why don't we pick a day and for 20-25 minutes blow their phone lines up with complaints?

the first thing you need to do is contact your bank, your bank is working for you they will contact the merchant and use there fraud protection team to help you most banks will charge back to your account while investigating, and they are savy to these schemes so dont be afraid to contact your bank and get the ball rolling, and like i said on my blog read the fine print they also hit you with other charges you dont know about, i researched this thoroughly so please i advise you contact your bank, you bank works for you, not you for them

yep me too, same thing . one big Q on my part is how the hell did this Blazing keyword company get my CC number. Amazing that it still goes on. ### 3rd party wag around to get answers to lies .
So I had to cancel my credit card and file a BBB complaint and a letter to the consumer protection agency.
But that will not get me a refund either . Nor a stupid letter to a fake address in Utah.

Blazing Keywords Unfair Business Practices

These People are unbelievable.

First the hook... promises of work at home with a dream paycheck and then they lie and say it is free!
Then you are directed to a link to a website to signup for FREE to get this great info!
Then you are charged a small fee to "deliver" the software
Then they tell you several weeks later that you will be billed monthly for over $70 dollars automatically but if you wish to cancel you may email or call.
THEN THEY DON'T ANSWER ANY OF THE COMMUNICATIONS!
SO Now you have only a few options

1. Cancel the card they intend to bill to.
2. Get your bank to issue a new account number and card.
3. GO INSANE TRYING TO GET THEM TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION!

I have been trying to get this resolved for several weeks now and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!
I still have yet to discover the name of the actual business I am being ripped off by!

Stay away from these CHEATS!

I am going to my attorney first thing tomorrow to see if a letter from his law firm will cut any water with these thieves!

You can cancel your acount (lol) which you never established/authorized at [protected] (in the Philipines) sp? They will cancel the account, so they say, and there will be no further charges; they do give you a cancellation number. However, they will not process a refund request for you. You did not respond within the seven (7) day trial period. What trial period? What Kit?

I am sending snail mail to the springville UT address they gave me. I will let you know if I have any luck.

The bug is encrypted in your computer as malware and it randomly authorizes a transaction from your debit card...AVG software found and destroyed it...

In May, when I was going to sign up, at the last moment I decided to hit Cancel, rather than submit my credit card information...I was skeptical about it...it accepted my credit card information anyway...this morning I decided to print out my bank statements for the last 6 months to see if I could identify any "weird" charges...the four mentioned above were all on my statements...$1.97, 29.90, 38.84 and 72.21...the latter three charges occurred each month since May...I never received any information in the mail or through e-mail after that day I hit cancel.

The feds are very knowledgeable about this scam. My bank, Chase, assured me that the information would be transferred immediately to the task force which is tracking "the group", however they shared that the companies are very difficult to track down because transactions always occur through different IP addresses and the transfers go into hundreds of different accounts throughout the world. Chase credited my account, probably because I have been a good customer and since I had printed out my statements and was willing to file a dispute claim. Plus, I had protection up to $1, 000. It's nice to have the $850 back!

Anyone else a victim or not sure? Check your statements and talk with your bank.

Good Luck!

Canceling your debit/credit card is the Number 1 thing to do. These guys are vultures.

I agree I have been scammed by two of them the google money making system and the rolllockpoint ! I have contacted my credit card holder and requested that no future charges from these people be allowed ..I also noted they were scam artists just trying to take peoples money...When I wrote back to the person that sent me the rolllockpoint message some how she managed to get that whole page that opened up out of my mail so i really don't have any evidence of its existence other than the email addresses and when I click on the link for it ..it say web page is unable to be displayed ...SO BEWARE of these two ...Trisha JAckson Toledo, Ohio

Blazing Keywords Fraud

I too discovered charges on my back account in the amount of $72.21, when I contacted the number to find out about it I was informed that the company I was speaking to was just a servicing company and they told me that the only way I could get my refund was I had to contact "Blazing Keywords" support center via [protected]@googletreasurechest.com which I sent them an email tonight requesting my refund. I know I'm probably not going to get a response from that email, but just seeing that name I already know this scam. I got scammed by them before but the name they were using then was Google Money Profit. They stole money from me then, claim I had ordered their program on CD, which I did not and never received. But after contacting them I did actually get the money back. I also found another complaint site with tons of people listing their complaints on this same company going by another name: http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/google-treasure-chest-c152771.html. Check it out you'll be amazed at how many of us have been scammed by this company.

I sympathize with everybody regarding this outrageous company. Here's my story! Today - I saw the same ad as many of you, regarding an opportunity to make money via the internet, that indicated that it only cost $1.97. So, I went along with it, and submitted my information. I received an email with my password information, and went to the website. I don't what came across my mind, however, I decided to search this company, and found over one hundred complaints of the same type that is reported here. I called the company at [protected] and requested for them to cancel my account. The woman whom I spoke with (which it was more than evident that she was not an American), told me that she could not cancel my account, because my information was not in their system yet, and that I had to call back in a few days. I then, called my bank, (keep in mind my card is actually a debit card, as I'm on unemployment). My bank representative told me that the best thing that I could do was to withdraw my cash, and call them back, and then they would cancel my card, and this company could not, of course, have access to any of my funds. Of course, I did this, and called them back, and now I await a new card. Also, when I called when called my bank back, I spoke to a different representative, whom informed me that the same thing happened to him by the same company. I am grateful that I was only scammed for the $1.97, instead of $70.00 or $80.00 or more as some of you. But - it seems like something should be done about companies like this, as times are too hard, and people know that others are searching for ways to make additional income just to make it. It seems as though some time of class action suit or something could be filed against these people, if we all ban together. If some one wants to do something about these folks, please let me know, as I am willing to help. Thank You and Stay Blessed.

I searched for google products to purchase to learn to do links for google. I found something offering a product for information about money on the internet. They charged me $1.97. It was taken from my debit card on 6/11/09, then while returning from a funeral, I suddenly found that I had no money on my debit card, after purchasing gasoline at a station. I found a charge of $72.66 taken from my debit card, and now there are two pending charges that I do not have the money to put on my debit card to cover, from purchases made on the way home. I never reviewed the product, nor did I find out that I was signing up for a weekly trial, and four days after they took the $1.97 from my account, they took the $72.66, and now tell me that it will be seven to ten business days before I get the money back on my debit card, while charges against it will cause it to be cancelled by Wired Plastic. I am furious. I want that money returned to my account now, because I was never even told that I would be charged anything, and I never got to review the product. I want someone to do something about this horrible scam.

I saw this Google work from home advertisement from google, and it said work from home and make $500/monthly. I signed up for trial perio, which cost .99cents, after a week, they charged my acct. $72.21, which I did not authorize! They finally refunded the money to my acct., but i was charged a $35.00 overdraft fee from my bank acct., which they refuse to refund! They are a bunch of scammers! Myself & my husband called and asked to speak to a supervisor, which they would not put on the phone! They hung up on us 4 times, and nothing was solved!

Grantmaster & I-PlanFinances are names used to draw funds also.
I have been victim of this scam to rip people off. Like the others I wanted to receive free info on gov grants for postage only $1.97.
I also did not agree to any membership where I'd been locked into reoccurring charges, as I'm finding out after the fact is what's happening. That's what the additional charges are for $72.21 last month in May from A 1 membership ( which is Blazing keywords charges and now $38.43 from an I-planfinances ( which I'm guessing is another branch of this theiving company, since it was the same customer service data base which is holding info on all the transactions for my ripped off credit card). I restricted my credit card so they would not be able to put through any further charges after the $72.21. But of course the C/S rep for the card didn't know enough, reoccurring charges get to go through even on a restricted account. Even when your disputing the charges.
I have finally got cancellation numbers but refunds have to be through email with support@blazingkeywords.com and support@grantmaster.com. I'm looking forward to hearing back from them. I'm glad I found this support for my complaint. I was beginning to think I was the only one ripped off. Any info out there by anyone who has gotten a refund please contact me back at chattrbox@rocketmail.com. I really don't want them keeping my $$. Thanks

WHEN I CALLED THE NUMBER PROVIDED ON MY BANK STATEMENT I WAS ABLE TO CANCLE MY SUBSCRIPTION (WHICH I DIDNT SIGN UP FOR) AND TOLD THEY COULDNT GIVE ME A REFUND I WOULD HAVE TO GO TO SUPPORT@BLAZINGKEYWORDS.COM (NO SUCH PLACE) AND THEY WOULD GIVE ME A REFUND! I charged a 30 day free trial product from this company and canceled my account in a timely fashion. I was told by the customer service department I would receive a refund within the next 3 weeks on my credit card. It did not show up, so icalled back and was told that the refund was processed and that I shoould see it any day. That was 45 days ago. I called back again and all they will give me is a fax number to send copies of my statement proving I did not receive the refund. Seems like a scam to me and I would never do business with any company that makes it this hard to get your money back.

I found a charge in my checking account for $72.21, the charge on my statement had a phone number to call. I called the number because I have not ordered from this company and did not know what kind of company they were. This phone call generateed a cancellation # and I was to email the company at : supportat blazingkeyword.com for my refund. I researched and found the company on line and called them, after getting a run around about how I needed to send in my invoice (which I never got because I did not order or receive anything) I finally convinced the Maria (whom claimed she was the senior manager) that I needed to talk to someone above her. Finally got Brian ID#2051 who guarentees that my account will be refunded and the account canceled with in 7-10 days. Today is June 8, 2017, I am anxious to see if this will happen or if I will need to take further action. I am not sure how this company got my account number but I do believe that this could be some sort of scam. Seems it has something to do with $1.97 for some program. Maybe Obama can put a stop to companies like this! I will keep everyone updated if and when I receive my refund.

I found an unauthorized charge to my debit card for $72.41 from Blazing Keywords. I did not authorize them to charge my account and I did not order anything from them. The only thing I remember authorizing was $1.97 shipping and handling charge for a free cd from Google Cash KIt. This is obviously a scam because when I agreed to the cd I was told there would be no further charges. This company should be reported and they need to refund me my money back.
I talked to a Michael at this number: [protected] and he informed me that my order was cancelled (he gave me a cancellation number) but that they have to wait till tomorrow to work on refunding my money back. I have cancelled my credit card account information and I will know better next time.
I think everyone should beware of this company and any others who are affiliated...including Google.

It wouldn't be so obvious had they taken the charges the day we subcribed to the CD; but 3 day later my bank account was charged:
1st for 1.97; then, again for .02 cents more... So, if you have succomb to the scam call the Phillipines (not joking, I called the number I got from my bank [protected]) and first, I wanted to know if this conversation was being recorded and like most call centers it WAS; then I asked the CSR where he was located and he said the Phillipines.
I told him to cancell this subscription...I was going to get the Attorney General's Office involved for bad business practice and to please give me a confirmation number for the cancellation. Well, he was nice; not only did he give me a confirmation number he also sent me an email to confim. I know TIMES ARE HARD, but you better wake me up really early in the AM to take my money...that's all I have to say

My account was showing that there had been $72.21 taken out of it by a business called Blazing Keywords. I have never heard of this business, and I have never ordered anything from them. I looked it up on the internet and found a list of people who have had this done to them also. How can a business take money out of your account and think that it is legal, and where did they get our information. I am mad and something has to be done about this. We are all the victims and they are getting away with it. THIS BLAZING KEYWORDS, WHATEVER IT IS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED, I WORK HARD FOR MY MONEY.

Blazing Keywords ripoff/crooks/liars

The site was "recommended" by an affiliate. I attempted to subscribe but received an error message indicating that I "did not qualify for the offer". However, subsequently, I received several phone calls requesting that I "confirm" my credit card number to pay the $1.97 to receive the program. I DID NOT AGREE. Several days later, I received an email advising me that I HAD subscribed, that my card HAD been charged, and that my "free trial period" had lapsed so I would be charged another $72.00 per month---- for a "service" I DID NOT ORDER, DID NOT AUTHORIZE AND DO NOT WANT. When I asked for a supervisor, I was told that none was available. When I asked for the phone number of the parent company, I was given [protected], WHICH IS NOT A WORKING NUMBER. This is a major scam.

Their ad is a scam. The kit promised for a minimal amount never been sent. This is their bait to capture your Credit card information and then subsequently charge you for products that you never ordered and never existed . I'm so frustrated with Google.com for allowing this ad to proliferate on Google. Being the number one on the Search machine, now has a connotation of a scam site. I hope Google is doing something to this scam to regain their status on cyberspace.

Never received materials, called to cancel, cancellation was authorizied. Never received refund. Called for refund and was told they cannot (will not) refund $38. So why did they say I would receive a refund the first time and then retract the statement a couple of months later. They would not provide a physical site, but did say they are located in the Phillipnes. Their associationwith both Dell and Google lowers my opinion of both companies. Marie

I have been battling this company for a little over a month now. They took money out of my account without my knowledge of 72.21. I cancelled it and they said that the refund would be back in about 7 to 10 days which still has to happen after a month. The customer service people are hard to understand and they keep repeating themselves. I actually had one girl say she was going to transfer me to her supervisor. I was on hold for about 2 min.s and she came back on the line pretending that she was the supervisor. That was a good one! Can't believe that companys like this exsist!

My complaint is the same as everyone else's regarding the Fraudulent charge for $72.21. I did sign up for the Google Kit for $1.97 and then the $72.21 showed up on my account. I have been in contact with their customer service and of course they are prolonging my refund. First it was 7-10 busniness days. I called on the 13th day and was told they were having problems with their billing. I then called them the next monday after the weekend and they are now telling me I was approved for the refund and it should be in my account by the end of the week. That is now almost a month. I am sure I will get the refund, but it has been alot of calling on my part and threatening them with law suit if I don't get it. Each time I do ask for the person's extension I spoke to and my reciept number to make sure it has not changed since the last time I spoke with them. They have been consistent. But I must say it is hard to understand these people as their accent is so strong and I have to ask them to speak clearer so that I may get what they are saying.

I noticed a payment from my bank account to Blazing Keywords
$72.21 (£45.05). I clicked on a link to request an immediate refund, but the link does not work. I will have to wait till Monday to contact them by phone...No doubt it will be a premium number and they will be experiencing an usual high volume of calls.

This highlights the danger of disclosing your debit card details over the internet. Your bank cannot stop these transactions taking place.
It is up to me to cancel payment with Blazing Keywords.

I have nothing good to say about this company and they need to be shut down. The "corporate office" is in Utah... probably run out of someones living room. the information I was given from the "out-source center" was, , ,

280 South Main St. Suite 101A Pleasant Grove, Utah 84062
FAX [protected] email support@blazingkeyword.com

Now mind you... all this information is located at the bottom, in verrrrry tiny print of their "agreement"... which you can't get into until you have given them all your information.

My "reader's digest" version of my story...

I actually was checking this out for my sister who is dealing with cancer right now and someone had sent the information to her. She was looking for some source of income. I was checking it out and didn't find the complaint forum until it was too late...

Once I was able to get into the system, I realized it was more than I wanted to deal with and called to cancel. I got my confirmation number and told to wait 7- 10 business days. I waited. I checked my account, and still no refund. I called again, and started to get the "out-source center" run around. I was being told their system was down, and then the phone call would be disconnected when I was "transfered" to a supervisor. I was angry and I was now in it for the 'matter of principle'. I was not going to let them keep MY money and just allow this to be chaulked up to a "learning lesson". I was on a mission and I was not backing down. I was using key words like SCAM, and REPORTING and MY MONEY, and I WANT NOW... in my phone conversations. They gave me this run around for almost an hour... and I was getting names and extention numbers. I was once again being told they were "re-processing" my account, and I would need to wait another 7-10 days. I was over the moon pissed at this point. I was taking notes of dates and time frames.

I called on the next set of dates I was promised the refund to be in my account. They told me to call back the next day. I was telling them I wanted to speak to KISH, or RICO, these are the key top people at the call center... Oh, YEAH! and the call center just happened to change there phone number! Here's the last one I have... good as of mid July '[protected] or [protected]

These idiots knew I was not going ot back down and I was not going away.

I sent off an email to the "corporate" office, (again, probably someone's living room), but if you mapquest it, it shows like an industrial park type area... I'm sure used just for the address. Something just is not right with it all adding up. Smells "dirty".
My email laid into them and of the time line I had been waiting and the people I spoke with, one of them being this RICO person and that I was demanding MY money back in my account. I did not receive a response from them. In the body of the email I told them that I expected a response in a 24 hr period. Within approx 72 hrs I received my refund of $72.21 back to my account.

My next step was to tell Blazing Key Words that I was going expose this operation to my local media, then to the Utah media, and then extend it to the National level.

I have stated my story to you people. Please do not waste your time with this "company". They need to be shut down. They are taking advantage of people during these financial hard times.

If you do get caught into this vortex of trash, tell them specifically what you want and when you want it and be the bully! They are unethical piss ants.

Good Luck!

Hi, I recently purchased "free" grant writing software, used my debit card for the shipping charges which was about 4 dollars - through some fluke I discovered before the cd arrived that the company and apparently some where in small print it says that they will bill you 79.95 a month, sound familiar?
I called my bank cancelled my debit card - so they never got me.
Try this, cancel and replace the card that they are using.

Hope this helps
