This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I joined the Biz Builder coop at Level 3 ($99 reg plus $99 a month membership fee). I ordered $4,000 of product any was told they would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. I waited, but no products. So I called and was told they still hadn't left China, and I needed to wait another month. Next month same thing.

The only thing you can count on this company to do is take the monthly fee. I have since canceled my account and asked for a refund for the products. (They won't refund the membership fees, $600 gone). It's been 2 weeks and still no refund for the products and they refuse to return any of my calls.

Beware Biz Builder is a scam.

George Massalas, the owner of the Bizbuilder is full of fake statements, fake numbers of the listings. He does not share much information and if you ask any question then he becomes super rude and argumentative.
He is always looking for naive and new customers to trap them in his over-priced deals.
Avoid him at any cost.

I found this site, among at least a dozen others with flaming complaints and allegations of fraud/scam/rip off, etc., while exploring the possibility of an online work-from-home opportunity with this company. Thank gawd I did!
I just have to second the observation of one of the plaintiffs here: Every single response defending this company is as if it were read from a script. Not one gives an example of what they ordered, when, and the date they received it. I challenge anyone to go to a website for any other company where people have lodged complaints (for paying for goods or services and not receiving them) and find "defendants" or "apologists" for the company blaming the victims. I guess every single person here who is pissed about paying for something and not getting it has nothing better to do with their time than make up their version of being ripped off in the same way? Furthermore, I guess they ALL didn't hold their mouths right when paying, or filling out the order for the merchandise, or some reason they are responsible for not receiving it, as the apologists would have some idiot believe? Kudos to those of you who ARE "Taking responsibility" and reporting them to every agency you can find. What a bunch of sleaze bags.

I too feel for the BIGBUCKSBIZBUILDER scam. Paid near $70.oo for their program information and membership, but received nothing.
I called their customer service and tried talking to a person that didn't seem to understand english. She told me I needed to call customer service and gave me the same number I had just dialed. I told her that was the number I used to reach her. She stated, "can I help you" and started talking in circles again. I think they act stupid to avoid refund. Don't waste y0ur time with them..

I know these posts are quite old...but I just couldn't believe this company is still treating its customers the same way as it did 8 years ago. I am not a complainer. I am a doer. I took this company to small claims court and won. Problem is, you can't collect. If you go through all these posts, you will notice that the positive ones all say the exact same thing. We are complainers, we are lazy Americans, we didn't read the small print. I won the court case on the fact that I did read the small print and even though they printed their return policies (good thing they did) they were in direct violation of FCC rules on canceling orders and refunds. They offer items for sale that they do not currently have in stock. FCC rules state "Reasonable basis" means that the merchant has, at the time of making the representation, such information as would under the circumstances satisfy a reasonable and prudent business person, acting in good faith, that the representation is true. Supply. For each advertised item, is there a sufficient inventory on hand? This company told me they could not ship an item as it was no longer in stock at the same time they were auctioning off 10 of the same item. FCC rules also have a 30 day time frame, UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. They stated that items ship within 3-5 business days, then tried to fall back on the 30 day rule. The rules also state that if you decide that you can ship the item at later, YOU MUST SEEK THE CUSTOMERS CONSENT to the delay. This is another area they faulted on. I gave them written confirmation of canceling the order and they refused, in writing. It was wonderful to go to court with all the documentation they provided me for my case!

What a bunch of BS. This company does an excellent job of providing "factory direct" merchandise at "factory cost" pricing!

In each and every case, the complaints I've read are clearly all about the consumer not understanding the business model of this company.

It's funny to see how many times people will moan and grown about their issues, and never actually admit that THEY ARE ACTUALLY TO BLAME.

I love this company - and will continue shopping for many years to come!

I'm glad I stopped by and read these complaints, but unfortunately, it was after I tried to apply for a cash refund. Now that it has been 7 months since I ordered and never received anything, I HIGHLY doubt they will be giving me a refund in 3 to 5 business days.

I called my debit card company to have my card canceled. That was very stupid of me to put all my CC info on that request for credit page (they even had me put down my CVV2 number) Bad bad bad! My debit card company told me that if BizBuilder was a reputable company, they wouldn't need me to put down my credit card info again as it should already be on file. [censored], I wish I had been thinking clearly before filling out that form! Anyways, I'm taking all my money out before one of those scammers takes it first!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ! It has been over 184 days since I ordered the Magic Bullet and as you can guess I never received it. I have email the company several times in the last couple of days . At first I tried to be polite and I waited 2.5 months before contacting them. They said that they had 90-120 days to deliver my product since it was coming from China. So I waited another 2 months, as I said I was trying to be patient about this whole thing. The second email said that I now had to wait 180 days before thinking about complaining that my item hasn't arrived. I think I am a reasonable person, so I waited 182 days with the hopes that my CC account would be refunded. NO SUCH LUCK ! I emailed them yesterday with my compaints, this time their email read " Your account access has now been terminated and we will not continue any futher correspondence with you". People of America, be smarter than I was,

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY *** BIZ BUILDER.com ***

Me and my husband ordered a juicer from BIZ Builder.com through online in September 2007. We were told that the juicer will be at our house within 3 months but it has been 8 months and there is no news about the juicer. We contacted many time via e-mail to the company since there is no live person to answer our call. We asked for refund 2 months ago but no credit was made into our account. We wanted to know what is the best way to get our money back. We believe that this a scame company and people should be aware of it. We are contacting the CA.'s consumer protection about this frud.

DO NOT BUY FROM BIZBUILDER! I ordered the magic bullet and paid $54.00 on Visa. After 4 months and several calls, I happened to see a notice for a refund on their site since they no longer make the product. Too good to be true? You bet. They are offering a $24.00 store credit ot a $2.49 cas refund! You can"t get your money back even when they don't have the product! Nice company. Oh, and yes the positive posters are Biz builder employees or family members of. We aren't all idiots so please spare us the comments on how wonderful they are.

'didn't you read the fine print == your product will get there when it get's there. George, the CEO is so rude, no chance of explaining circumstances to him. after all customer concerns are not his issue... just send the money. SCAM business BizBuilders.com is Scam and George is ###.

Hi. My story is almost identical to all of yours... I'm out $100 and nobody will respond to my f***ing emails or phone messages. Tonight I reported it to my credit card company and GUESS WHAT? (forgive the caps Brian, I'm just angry). AFTER 90 DAYS YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY CANNOT HELP YOU! How convenient for the cheating scammers at BIZ builders. Please... our only chance is a class action lawsuit. Aren't there any attorneys out there that can help us shut them down and get our money back? You can email me at sarah.hayes9@gmail.com if you have any ideas. Let's do it guys!

Complaint against Biz Builder .com of Valencia CA [protected] I placed and order for a Jack La Lane power juicer on August 29,2007. It is December 8 2007, and I haven't received the power juicer. I've email them and phone them but they never replied the emails or call me back, I am beginning to think that this site Biz Builder.com is a scam. Do not Buy anything from this site. If they were a legitimate business they would have answer my calls or send me an email.

Biz Builder thank you for the stress you have caused me and stealing $100.00 from my american express credit card.

I am an unhappy customer. I did not read the bogus contract and even if you are a rep of biz builder, you got to admit - that's a pretty crappy contract - it has several parts on separate pages - and it covers the business entirely leaving no consideration for the customer. C'mon - smile and admit it - its good for the company... and you get to say things like "Did you read the contract? Do you take responsibility for your actions..." It's pretty sad that you have to say things like that.

I'm sure I am a minority in getting bad service - I understand things happen. I also understand the importance of full disclosure upfront. The site should tell you in BIG BOLD LETTERS that it may take more than 4 months before you get the product and if that happens you have to wait a total of 6 MONTHS before they will issue you a refund. Now that part was hidden on a page off the agreement. The site should have a graphic that says "BUY NOW, Get the product delivered you in less then 6 months". At least it would have been honest this way and I would not have to wait 4 months to find out where in the hell my blender is.

In defense of Biz Builder, they do have a contract. It was on the site. Buyer beware - blah blah blah. They know people do not read on the web. Thus a perfect opportunity in case shipping is delayed. It's not a scam - it's just a business.

However as a consumer, I would not recommend doing business with a company that has such long possible lead times. Go to Wal-Mart.

Well... your probably just a little peeved because my card company got me my money back. If I had not run across this web site and found out within a week about this company, that would not have happened. I'm just trying to help other honest people out there by posting my findings. If you personally think I am a complete unadulterated idiot, then so be it. Tell everyone at the office over at Biz Builder I said hi.

To Dennis Lutz,

You are a complete idiot! I've read your comments about this company with great laughter. I've also used BIZ for several years, with outstanding success.

I notice that you don't like it when people say nice things about this company. NO - I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE! Just someone who was looking around at the web, and I stumbled onto all of this negative ### being said about this wonderful company. I honestly think that most of you "dooms-dyers" need to take a vacation. It sounds to me like you're all a bunch of losers!

Just curious... how is it that if anyone says something nice about them, you all think we can't possibly be real?! Maybe you're the cons! Maybe you're all out to prove you were injured, because you never bothered to take the time to understand what this website does for its customers!

Personally, I think you, Dennis - are a complete unadulterated idiot!

Hello BizBuilder.com... terms of agreement...why on the front page advertisement of the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer that you took $91.35 of my hard earned money for advertise"All orders ship within 24 hours!" July 3 - October 19th...gee! that's over 90 days even with your hockey terms agreement! Why are there so many complaints lodged against your company if you are on the up and up? Victims?, Weiner's?, Whiners?, call us what you want...but you're the one that has to look in the mirror and see a big fat scammer. How come "Melinda at ext.#203" never answer any calls? How come you closed my account? how come Jessica is on live chat 24hours per day... do you break labor laws too? Biz Builder is by California law to have a bond deposit to operate with a legal license (yes, I'm doing legal research for the Class Action Suit), The CA Attorney General is looking into your license now... The Federal Trades Commission/Consumer Protection Agency and the BBB have all been notified. All you had to do was send me my juicer.

Ok - here's my 2 cents everyone. I love biz builder and I also love to read these funny and pathetic comments. I cant believe there are so many people who will take the time to write crap just because their mad. but anyway... I will tell you my story. I bought 2 times from biz builder, and both times - I waited move than 30 days. But, they tell you this when you order so I cant understand why so many of you are complaining. I think your all a bunch of stupid people. Why dont you just be patient? Anyway I think the company is great, and I especially think Jessica is sweet (Ive met with her at their warehouse and shes very kind). How about we all get together and "take responsibility for our actions" and file a Class Action SUIT against Biz Builder? Check them out on BBB and see the big fat F. That's after going thru triple AAA,AA,A, BBB,BB,B, CCC,CC,C,D rating! Pathetic Company. YES, we were also ripped of almost $100.00 by Biz Builder for a juicer "that was in China" Are we united "wieners" as Jessica calls us? Lets make them hire attorneys from China! Anyone interested in shutting them down and making them pay? Let me know!

You ever notice how all the Pro-BIZ Builder people write in CAPS to stress things. No one else on this board does, but everyone who has a positive thing to say about BIZ Builder uses CAPS to stress. It's the same in my e-mails from BIZ Builder, but it's not the same person. Hmmmmmm. Sure. Good luck sleeping at night Scam Artists.

OH ... one more thing: Brian, what a complete LOOSER you seem to be! Get a live, buddy. Don't you have anything else to do except wine all about BIZ Builder?

What I find most interesting about your messages is how you seem to be WITHOUT FAULT - and only blame this company. How did you become so perfect, Brian? And, what in the world do you do with your time [besides bashing this company]?!

Clearly - you are the type of person who "blames" your misfortune on everyone except YOU! Everything is BIZ Builder's fault - and you are the "perfect citizen"! How funny.

I'm guessing that you've a teenager - because you sound very, very immature. I also laughed at the email that you received back from BIZ - I think they did you a terrific favor by slapping you around! It's just too bad you don't get the great advice they've offered you.

Either way - I'm sure they'll never allow you to buy anything again from their site. They must laugh every time you send them another email!

I've read these complaints - and ... like most of you, I was tempted to piss here too, but - after reading what others have said who love this company, I realize that I'm wrong. Certainly, it's easy to ### and moan, but - in truth, I think that my problem with this company is MY FAULT - because I never really understood their business model.

In fact, I realize that I goofed - because I didn't read anything before I ordered, and ... if I had, I'd have known that products that are not in their warehouse can take up to 120 days to receive. THIS WAS MY FAULT, NOT THEIRS.

This being said - I cannot fault this company, and I think they're actually quite professional with how they've handled my complaints.

So - HAT'S OFF TO BIZ! [sorry, you moaners] :-).

This is the latest e-mail I have from Bizbuilder. I still have not received my order after 5 1/2 months.

Brian,

If you spent just 1/10 of your day on positive things - you might actually lead
a fulfilling life! Instead, you seem to love wasting your time slandering our
company, and wasting our valuable time on the telephone, and via email
correspondence. All because you must have nothing better to do with your life.
A VERY SAD COMMENTARY, TO BE KIND.

This being said - I will respond ONE LAST TIME to your very rediculous [and very
negative] comments:

1. .00001: YES, we are very serious, Brian! BIZ Builder has been in business
for probably 1/2 of your life - and ... we have a very strong customer base
that's approaching 2 million customers. Now - with the 2 million customers we
have, there are probably a few hundred [like yourself] who will ### and moan
if we give them GOLD BARS FOR FREE! Do the math, my friend.

2. BBB: We do not consider BBB anything less than an organization who uses
customer complaints as a means to force businesses to pay their exhorbitant
annual fees. Since we don't pay their fees, they give us a poor rating. Who
cares! We don't need them to be successful - and, naturally, the only comments
they have are from the few deadbeats [like yourself] who waste their entire day
bashing companies!

3. Ebay: As I've told you previously, we are not an active "Ebay" merchant.
We only use Ebay for occasional products that are in "overstock" status, and
certainly do not need Ebay to succeed in our business model.

4. The paragraph you are referencing refers to DOMESTIC SHIPPING DELAYS - which
is certainly not the case in your order.

Lastly - I'd love to give you a bit of advice: STOP WASTING YOUR TIME [AND
OURS] WITH YOUR REDICULOUS REMARKS, AND DO SOMETHING POSITIVE WITH YOUR LIFE.
IF YOU WASTE THIS MUCH TIME ON A LITTLE ORDER FOR $50, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW
MUCH MORE TIME YOU WASTE EVERY TIME YOU HAVE A CHIP ON YOUR SHOULDER.

In every case - you have been completely wrong about your remarks, assumptions
and accusations. You have been rude, foul and immature - which is why your
account was closed, and why we will no longer communicate with you in the
future. We'll all be very thankful when your order is finally delivered -
because we have ABSOLUTELY ZERO INTEREST in wasting any more time with your
winey remarks. GET A LIFE, BRIAN!

*** NO FURTHER EMAILS WILL BE REPLIED TO - SO IF YOU CHOOSE TO WRITE THEM, YOU
MIGHT AS WELL SEND THEM TO SOMEONE WHO WILL READ THEM! ***

Sincerely,

I love how all these "Happy People" that got great service are stumbling onto this board... My order number was just over 5000, but they've been around for 5 years and given great service to millions? Give me a break. What, do they start with order number 2,000,000 and go backwards. Ever notice how all the Pro biz builder (the very few) posts talk about the customers they have ripped off growing up and being adults. All of the happy biz builder customers (supposedly) that accidently stumble on to the site. Well I must be a cry baby, bad role model for my kids, so full of crap its oozing out my ears or way to strange. Because I don't sit back and let crooked people steal from me. As long as this company is on the internet. I will stop by this site from time to time to warn people about this scam company. I guess I just don't have a life or I just have a 12 grade education.
Its my opinion they are a bunch of kids stealing from anyone they can. Luring unsuspecting people on to their site and stealing their money and then trying to convince them they brought it on themselves. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM BIZ BUILDER

I am a long-standing customer of BIZ Builder.Com. I stumbled onto this site by mistake, and am in shock at so many cry babies! My goodness ... !

First and foremost - the people here who are all complaining seem to have a common thread: NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR PERSONAL ACTIONS. After all - they're all basically trying to blame BIZ Builder about issues that are REQUIRED FOR THEIR AGREEMENT in the first place! So, if I get this right, you're all trying to blame BIZ for things that you agreed to - since most of you probably never read what you agreed to and are now trying to point the finger at them, INSTEAD OF BEING ADULTS AND TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS, RIGHT?

I can only wonder if any of you actually have children, and if you do - I pitty them having you as parents and "role models" - when you can't even act like adults concerning a simple contract issue.

ALSO - FOR THE RECORD ... I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE, NOR AM I BEING PAID. WHAT I AM ... IS A REAL CUSTOMER, WHO'S HAD OUTSTANDING SERVICE BY THIS COMPANY - AND WOULD GLADLY OFFER ANY OF YOU FURTHER DETAILS, EXCEPT THAT I WON'T GIVE OUT MY PHONE NUMBER [you all sound way too strange].

I've ordered items from china before and it doesn't take over three months (90 days) to make the journey even when a trip through customs is involved. I waited OVER 90 days and then threw in the towel. If websites (BBB included) are getting enough complaints to register a severely negative rating, then there is a problem, weather the company acknowledges the complaints or not.

It's my opinion that the reason it takes so many months to get product from BizBuilder.com is because they are taking your money, investing it in an interest bearing account for a few months, then taking it out at the last minute and sending the order to china claiming the order was delayed in production and then in customs.

There is no other reason for an item to take so phenomenally long to arrive if the money has exchanged hands in the proper fashion.

It's my belief that bizbuilder "builds" itself up by using invested customer money to receive gains before then moving it along to do the job it was supposed to do. It’s inexplicable for a blender to take over three months to show up at my door even if someone in China had to hand build the stupid thing before putting it on a sailboat at the moment of purchase.

I personally won’t ever attempt to buy from this company ever again.

Any person that would write anything positive about this company is being paid by them. They are arrogant ripoff artists. Any reputable company would not have a problem giving a refund especially if you haven't received the product. Instead they blame the customer for not reading the small print which is just a stall tactic for them run with your money. I consider myself lucky that I've bought a lot of items on the internet and this is the first time I have been scammed. One hundred dollars is not going to break me, I'm just thankful that I don't have to use these tactics to try to make a living. I'm sure if I talk to my credit card company I can get the charges reversed.

I've got news for you, Mr. Ray Cook! I've been a customer of this company for over 6 years - and your comments are so far off base, it's hilarious! There's not another company online with such stellar customer service - nor is their any company offering "factory direct" deals like they do!

I've read your comments with a grin, and also the other wieners online in this forum. YOU'RE ALL SO FULL OF CRAP, IT'S OOSING OUT OF YOUR EARS!

P.S. I'm not an employee - nor was I paid to defend this company.

All the positive posts are likely posted by employees of Bizbuilder. After my credit card company started an investigation and contacted bizbuilder, they sent me an email with a UPS tracking number. Funny thing is, BB says it shipped Friday, but as of today, Tuesday, UPS has no record of the tracking number. Nice try ...again Bizbuilder. 9 weeks and counting and still getting the run around while you sit on my money and my merchandise. This company has no sense of customer service whatsoever. I would encourage everyone not to buy from them unless you want months of frustration.

Greetings all!

I couldn't agree more with this last comment. I've been a BIZ customer now for a little over a year. I'm a "happy camper"!

I do understand how many of these folks feel - because I, too, failed to review and fully understand how BIZ Builder operates but, I took a much different approach by admitting my mistake, and moving on from there.

I think [from what I've read here] that every one of these people is simply "blaming" BIZ instead of fessing up to the reality that they failed to fully read and understand this company's business model.

I do find that Americans tend to avoid taking responsibility for ANYTHING. I'm from Australia, and it's very different in my country. Anyway - ALL THE BEST!

I am currently getting the same run around from these scam artists. I paid for my product in June and i am YEt to receive my order. It is on a boat from China... next story was it is at customs and being delayed. I urge anyone who is even considering buying from them to NOT DO SO. You will get the run around for months and likely never see your goods or all of your refund.

WOW - seems like quite a few people here have a problem with BIZ Builder.Com! I found this site by accident - since I've been a customer of BIZ for over a year now. I can't believe you've all had such bad luck.

When I heard all of these complaints, I called BIZ up directly to see what they had to say [I'm worried because I've had nothing but great service, but maybe I've just been lucky].

They told me the following:

1. In every case, customers who feel "duped" have simply never bothered to read their standard terms of sale PRIOR TO placing their order. BIZ Builder makes it very clear that most products ship directly from China - and that customers should allow a minimum of 90 days for delivery.

When I asked about the names listed here - they told me that, in fact, each and every person listing a complaint here considers themselves a "victim", when - in fact, they simply don't want to take responsibility for what they originally agreed to!

2. Regarding the BBB, BIZ Builder does not recognize this organization as anything other than a great way to build a membership base. The BBB's sole and true purpose is to gain members by scaring businesses into joining their organization. If a business doesn't join them, they blast them with negative press. BIZ Builder has never responded to their many pleas to join, so - whenever there's a complaint, they give them a negative rating.

After I listed to the rep at BIZ - I realized that, in fact, there really is "2 sides to every story" - and, clearly - those of you who are ### here play yourselves as victims - when, in fact, you're actually the real reason for your problem/s.

That's my opinion. As for me - I've had nothing but GREAT LUCK with this company, and I'll continue to use their services to help "build" my business.

I am distraught as my experience has mirrored everyone here (with even the same language from laughable customer service). I am going to contact my credit card company. Obviously, this company cannot be trusted, and Sam, Jessica Stanbury was my rep as well. I guess these people need a job, but how can people work for this company and sleep at night. Save yourself a lot of aggravation - NEVER order from this scam company.

Sharon Jonestown huh? Perhaps your name is also Jessica Stanbury! I received an email from you stating almost the very same thing! I ordered from this SCAM COMPANY on 4/1/07 and still haven't received anything as of 8/11/07. When I finaly sent a email to their customer service, I received said email from Jessica. She continuously stated it was MY FAULT! She then proceeded to threaten me if I went to the authorities. Well, guess what Jessica? I have now filed with the BBB, the Internet Crime Complaint Center and The Consumer Protection Agency. Go ahead and do your best!

Anyone on here stating they are getting good service is probably an employee.
