Citibank use of abusive language

I have got a call from landline number 011-[protected], telecaller named Manju was asking about Manish, I told her in a desecnt tone that there is no Manish on this number then she replied that you are telling a lie because I had spoke to Manish on the same mobile number few days back. Then I tried to convince her that i dont know any Manish and this mobile number belongs to me ( Prachee Sharma) from last 6 years. When I cut the conversation then she again called me with abusive language, also she was threatning me. I request to this complaint forum that they should take necesaary action against this unit of Citibank or else I will take this matter forward.
Regards
Prachee Sharma

Citibank credit rate increase

I have also suffered the 29% interest hike, on my personal credit card, rudely enacted by Citibank. I understand the times we are in require desparate measures. I feel their pain - I am in the military and deal, on a daily basis, with the outcries of people opposed to US military actions, worldwide. To that end, I have never used my military status for personal gain, however I feel justified in saying that I sacrifice a lot to defend the freedoms and people of this country so some appreciation would welcomed. As an active duty member who has a great credit rating and having never been late on payments, I am truly outraged that my family and I now have to sacrifice even more to ensure the profit margin of Citibank continues to increase. Is that what my service means to this company? What is truly insulting is that, as a military member, I am bound to use Citibank for business expenses. I wonder how much Citibank is fleecing the US government on interest rates for this program. I believe in the right to make profits as any American, however, when you step on the toes of those who defend your right do do so, then you have crossed an ethical line that will (hopefully) come back to bite you in the rear. I'll be sure to advise all my military friends to avoid Citibank!

I have had a rate hike of 50% since January of this year! That was from about 13% to 20% now. I also make all payments on time, have a credit rating of 820 and a balance history of just about $500 a month (i.e. LOW RISK). So did Citibank just do this increase across the board, and not on a case by case basis? We know they have the statistics on all of our accounts - so why do they do this? I'm 'opting out' of these new 'terms' as my card doesn't expire until 2012 (so I can keep my rate of about 17% until then - still outrageous). They can terminate me then, as I DO have the option to choose a company that won't stick it to me to keep their profits up or to compensate for all those poor individuals who lost their jobs and had to file for bankruptcy.

Citibank won't stop calling

Orion Marketing Group on behalf of Citi won't stop calling me. Countless times they've woken up my two young children when I put them down to bed. I have asked to be put on the DNC list and have registered on-line, yet they still call. Their sales reps are always rude and incessantly try to forward me to a specialist. They should be shut down!

Citibank citibank would like me to starve because I cannot verify my address!

I opened a new account over the phone with Citibank, I just recently moved to Los Angeles from NYC and my original bank was with an institution based in New York, so I decided to close that account and re-open another account I made with Citibank. Everything went well, I received my debit card in the mail and decided to deposit my 1st paycheck in the ATM. Note that my employer has a business checking acct with B of A and are only able at the moment to fund my checks thru this account until they are able to establish a payroll system.

I went to withdraw the available balance which was $200 and the ATM says they were unable to perform that action. This was Monday. Tuesday I went into my local branch which was the Little Tokyo location on 1st street. I explained to them my situation and they told me there was nothing I can do I have to call the call center and finish the verification process thru the mail. I found that UN-ACCEPTABLE! I am standing here in person with a valid driver's license, a SS card, birth certificate, and mail FROM Citibank and you can not verify me?

I called the New Accounts Support call center and I was told that I should be able to withdraw from my account if I brought my SS card and debit card to the branch. The branch explains to me that it is up to a manager to perform that transaction and low and behold, they don't have a manager at the location. I will have to visit another branch. I called the Chinatown branch, and they explained to me that they ALSO WOULD NOT be able to perform that transaction because I need to verify myself through the main office.

So now my account is blocked. The call center tells me to close my account OVER THE PHONE and they will mail me a check for the amount in my account. What they are not understanding is I have absolutely NO FUNDS at all to survive. I told them I have no money to feed my family until I can withdraw from my account. I signed up for this account with NY ID and my Los Angeles Address. If this was going to be a problem they should have stated so over the phone when I first setup the account instead of holding my money hostage! If I was trying to commit Identity Fraud why am I crying the branch from the humiliation of explaining to the personal banker that I don't having any money to feed my family and I need to withdraw right now! I live 2 blocks from the branch in a well known luxury apartment complex. This is absolutely ridiculous that I have to fight over the phone and in person to withdraw $200! And to top it off one the call center reps hung up on me! I've tried to keep my composure in reference to this situation but it's hard to do that when you don't have food in your stomach!

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND CITIBANK TO ANYONE WHAT SO EVER! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABYSMAL! YOU DO NOT TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY!

Citibank ks unemployment issued debit card fraud

The "Citi" Debit card issued by the Kansas Unemployment Insurance agency to distribute unemployment funds will allow unauthorized withdrawls/charges without requiring a signiture, or security code. They allowed my money to be illegally taken from me when I never used the card anywhere but at my own bank to transfer the funds over. This tells me that either the Unemployment office, the Bank, or Citi is stealing the card numbers, and making fraudulent withdrawls. They allowed six withdrawls in the exact dollar amount that were in my account, immediately after the funds were deposited, within three weeks. This sounds like an inside job.
The real kicker is that in order to report the fraud, I had to cancel the card, was issued a new card, and now the company won't talk to me about the account # that no longer exists! And when I spoke to them initially about this (prior to cancelling the card) they told me it would take at least 90 days to recover my money "depending upon how cooperative the other party is". If the "other party' stole money from me, why would I expect them to be cooperative. The company name that supposedly stole my money doesn't appear to actually exist when searched for on Google.com. As well, the Citi card company's phone message system begins by responding to the effect of "if you are calling about a card that has been lost or stollen..." so obviously I am not alone. On many occasions I have been placed on hold by this company and the KS Unemployment office's phone systems in excess of 45 minutes, and lately the Unemployment Office's phone will hang up on me before I ever get to speak with anyone. Mind you, this is time that should & could be spent searching for a job.
Nearly $1400 has been stollen from me, and from Kansans like myself & my spouse who pay into this system. It was stolen from me during the three weeks following the delivery of our baby. Who could be so heartless? Any recommendations on how to proceed? I feel as though I am at a dead end in the yellow brick road. Steve Six's office can't help me because they can only pursue the Consumer Protection claims, and apparently this does not qualify. Please help!

I recently lost my job because of layoffs (again) and never received my new card and when I called the bank to see what was up the lady on the line told me that they mailed my card a week ago and when I asked her what address they had for me on file she told me that she could not tell me! After being on the phone for 3 hours I was able to list off an old address I lived at 7 years ago which is the one they sent the card to. Why did they not ask me to update my address when the unemployment office had the correct one on file? Took another week for me to get a new card in! My first unemployment pay out was sent to the account on Wed and withdrew the same day without my permission and spent another hour on the phone trying to find out where my money went and come to find out they sent it to an old bank account I had on file from 7 years ago that's awesome, an account that my ex has! Was told if the account is still open there is no way I can get the money back unless I go to my ex and just ask for it back!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I just want to say this is the most unprofessional place to deal with and full of people that just don't want to help, everything is well it'll fix itself in a couple of days but lets make sure it doesn't happen again! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

Now since they stated they mailed it a month ago how do they know When the mailman is bringing it. Glad I do not bank with these idiots they can't even deliver on time, why would I trust them with my money?

Its insane now. I live in California but still recieve unemployment benefits from Kansas and so I wake up every morning at 5:30 in the morning and start calling the unemployment office because once again mymoney is not coming. So after answering a few questions it puts me on the first hold, which you will go thru every time you call, then after about 6 - 8 minutes the automated system comes back on to ask you some more questions and for your SSN, then after all of that it tells me that too many people are already holding and I need to try again later. So I do try again, as a matter of fact I call all day every day for the past 2 weeks and it always gives me the same message. I mean WTF does anyone work there anymore? And then Citi Bank, oh wow citi bank is amazing isnt it? They lost my first card, lied about it, then sent me a new card. Now when I call you have to listen to 5 minutes of some dumb broads spiel about stolen cards and checking your account online. If I wanted to check my account online and put my password out there for a virus to catch then I would have got the address off of the back of my card and did that, but no I called and I dont want to hear your dumb ads. I am seriosley on the brink of losing it over unemployment and its [censor].

Citibank customer loyalty is a joke

I've been a Citibank customer since 1972, when it was First National City Bank. I've been a Citibank Mastercard holder since 1979. I've got both personal and business accounts at Citibank. I hold a Citibank mortgage in good standing. I've had several Citibank loans and lines of credit over the years with no blackmarks. I even worked for Citibank from 1989 to 1993; during its good years, when it put high stock in product quality and customer relations.

As a freelancer, my cash flow depends on my clients' payments to me so my payment history with Citibank has always been irregular. That is, a late payment last month, an over-payment the next, well over the minimum payment due.

Nevertheless, the card rarely carried a balance over half its rather puny $8800 limit. On average, the card carried a balance of $2200+ from month to month.

It's always been this way. Citibank happily took its late fee and extra interest charges without complaint and said nothing about it -- not even a phone call to warn me that my payment was overdue. Until this week.

I received an automated call telling me that my credit line had been cut by 60% to $3300. There was no warning that this would happen.

A call to two Citibank CSR stiffs was pointless. They were as robotic as the Citiphone IVR system. I was told that because I was late with my August payment that my credit limit had been reduced -- despite the fact I paid off $2, 000 on the card three weeks later.

I've probably been late with payments on that card at least 300 times over the past 30 years and Citibank never complained about it before.

This is how the Citibank weasels repay 35 years of customer loyalty? By telling me that I can't be trusted with more that $3300 in credit card debt, despite the fact that I also carry a quarter-million mortgage with Citibank with zero late payments?

This is pathetic.

Frankly, the only thing that separates one bank from another is customer service. Citibank's customer service took a nose dive when it lost John Reed and Larry Weiss.

I use the credit card for business and without a worthwhile balance on it, it's got little value to me. Which means that Citibank has little value to me. I might as well close my Citibank accounts and move them to my credit union, which gives my a higher limit and where I at least get free ATMs.

Citibank hold on deposits

A check I deposited was put on a 5 day hold - this is a check from my financial advisor, Primerica, drawn on a PNC account. I asked why is there such a long hold on their "parent company" check and was told the merger was not complete and PNC was, therefore, a separate bank. Because of this long hold that I was not expecting, my account is in a negative balance and NCB has started assessing overdraft fees to my account and will continue until the hold is released after the 5 day hold is complete. I asked the branch manager where I opened my account to release the hold and refund the fees - she said I had to contact the branch where I made the ATM deposit. I contacted that branch manager who referred me to the other branch - bouncing me back and forth. Both refused to help me - I have filed a complaint with the Office of the Comptroller and my state's attorney general. I told each manager that once my account is settled, and they're done making money off of me, I will be moving my $$$ to a credit union.

Neither one seemed to care.

Yes, I am moving to credit union TODAY! I can't stand this! No wonder they had to be bought out by PNC. But PNC is not much better.

Citibank credit card bill payment

--- Enclosed is a copy of the message.
Dear Officer,
I have a platinum credit card with no: [protected].I have a balance of 307246/-Rs.As per the bill generated with due date on 11/08/09 I paid a cheque for an amount of 100000/- with cheque no: 640500 SBH bank Bellavista branch, Hyd dated 9/08/09.After 3-4 days of the payment I started getting calls from citi bank left and right saying that the amount was due.Inspite of my repeated telling that I have done the payment they kept harrassing me with atleast 5-6 calls per day. After a few days I got a letter from citi bank stating that my cheque was tampered and please send another cheque immediately. In the place of my account no: one letter was darkened by sketch pen by SBH bank officials when they issued the cheque book itself. When enquired with SBH bank they said that this cheque had not come for collection and if it would have come we would have honoured it.In the mean while as a routine the phone calls from citi bank was repeated for the payment due.To each Tom, Dick and Harry I had to explain what has happened.but they presumed to be ignorant of the fact.Immediately I send the 2nd cheque dated 10/08/09 with cheque no:361892 from the same bank and branch and I posted the same to chennai. But still the payment has not reached your place and phone call repeated. Then finally citi bank people said that they are going to send an executive to collect the same and kindly do the stop payment.I did so.Since 3 days they are repeatedly calling that they are going to sent an executive to my place and so far that is not happening, but some or the other fellows are keeping me calling and saying that my bill is pending and they are going to send the executive.Iam rellay vexed with this attitude of yours. Finally I have made a decision that to pay the entire amount at one go and terminate the relation with these cranky fellows. The reasons are simple

1.I am a citi bank credt card holder since 8 yrs almost and a platinum member
2.These types of tantrums have happenned with citibank earlier also and with lots of appologies and excuses further the relation resumed.
3.Iam advisor A.P.State Govt.and have no time to squander with these buffoons.

pls take necessary action and let us wind up.

Citibank overcharged

Ahhh, where to begin? I have been a Citibank customer for more years than I can remember. I called CITIBANK to close my bank account because they had recently acquired CAL-FED, and my "free" checking account suddenly had fees-for-nothing. Since there are many places that offer free checking, I closed my account, or so I believed. I suddenly received a statement in the mail for negative $9.50 for their October service charge! I was stunned because it was my belief the account was closed! I called to complain and they refused to reverse the charge because the account wasn't closed! I explained it was THEIR FAULT that it wasn't closed, but they *still* refused to reverse the charge. In fact they had already added the monthly service charge for November and I was nearly $20 in the red! I know it's not a lot of money, but it's the fringing point! They still refuse to reverse the charge and I refuse to pay. I guess they will now wreck my credit but it's the principle of the matter.

Be aware of CITIBANK - they are *only* out to make money and are not interested in customer relations.

Last week I received my monthly Sears Credit Card Statement. The interest rate for regular External and regular Sears purchases had increased from 12.74% to 21.99%. I have an good credit rating and have never been late on a payment. When I called the 1-800 number, I was told there was a change in terms agreement mailed out in January.

The prime rate is currently 3.25%. The discount rate is currently 0.5%.

Today I receive in the mail from Sears the special interest rate checks. In the fine print at the bottom of the page, it says: 'As of February 1, 2009, the variable APR for both regular External regular Sears purchases is 21.24%.' My interest charge was for the month of February.

When I called Sears, I was told the change in terms agreement now says APR is based on the highest prime for the last three months plus 17.99%. December 1, 2008 prime rate was 4%, therefore, my rate is 4% + 17.99%=21.99%.

If the new terms are as Sears now says, APR should say 21.99% as of February 1, and then 21.24% as of March 1. Sears could not convince me they are not using two different formulas.

Either way, Congress' failure to enact the Credit Card Protection Act has given banks the legal right to loan shark.

As a former employee of AT&T, I was guaranteed an AT&T Universal Card for life for no fees. They have recently canceled this account because I live overseas. I have lived overseas for over 16 years with this card and have received statements and been able to use my card with no problem.

I want to know how they can just decide to not honor their commitment to provide me this card with no fees for life, especially since I have lived overseas for over 16 years and had no problems until now.

Citibank fraud/theft

I hope that no one out there ever has to do any kind of business with City Bank. Where I live that is one of the most common banks but today 8/28/09 City Bank decided to close out my fiancee's bank account without giving him any notice. It is funny the reason that City Bank or it's rep Ken in Morton gave for closing the account that it was a courtsy checking account so the only people that could use the account or deposit money into it are those who are listed on the account. Well the funny thing is that City Bank along with their reps are bold face liars, theives, and the company is a fraud. I was refunded the excessive money from my collge tutition and had it direct deposited into my fiancee's account. Well apparently when this money went in City Bank decided to close his account without notice because I still owe them money which I admit I do owe but I have been making payments when I can even if it is just $5 which proves I am trying to pay off my debt to them. Well again they closed his account and sent my paycheck, my college money, and his check back but not all his check they keep more thant 1/2 of it but he did not owe anything. Additionally the rep Ken and another rep adivised that it was in the fine print that only those who have their names on the courtesy checking account can use it well my fiancee has had the account for 2 years now all my checks have been direct deposited into his account even my huge income tax refund, and I have even gone into the local bank where we live which is in Morton and have signed my check over to my fiancee so that it could be deposited into his account so the whole no one other than the account holder can use the account is a bold face lie because City Bank started having a problem with me when I was not able to make payments but between paying them and having food, shelter, and water for my children well screw City Bank my family is more important. Please anyone stay away from City Bank additionally my best friend is facing problems with them as well she had several small charges she made to her account by way of her debit card the charges posted right away well she had to use her OOPS one day but the bank decided to move the smaller charges and post the large charge which should have been covered by OOPS first so this caused her to have to pay 6 $27 overdraft fees when orginally it only should have been one $27 overdraft fee. Please Beware of City Bank!

Charges from Google Money Profit started appearing on my credit card without my having had any contact with this firm. I'm grateful that Citybank's early warning system caught this fraud early on. However, it's a nuisance to have to close one account and open a new one.

Citibank false collections

My Mother had over 10 credit accounts with Citibank, I was on one account. My Mother passed away and I acted as her Excutator. I contacted Citibank and provide them with 15 copies of her death certificate and they said they close all her accounts andwould consoladate any outstanding debt and send it to me for payment. What they did was keep several accounts active charging $12.00 a month for the service. For months I was on the telephone with Citibank about this. Finally I find out that Citibank closed all my mothers accounts, put them into collections and put it on my credit report.

When I contacted Citibank about this their Collections Department could not find anything and referred me to their dispute department. I am still waiting for them to respond to my inquiries.

I agree and good luck with them getting in touch with you or even if they do admitting to you they made a mistake regardless of proof. I have a car loan threw citi and i often pay by card over phone due to my schedule and happened to catch them pulling payment without my approval out of my account and put a stop payment on the check that had been mailed a few days prior but they had not put it through the system and took it apon it upon themselves to pull the money out of my account. then once the check hit there systems and didnt clear due to me putting a stop payment on it they are charging me a late fee and a fee for the check not clearing. so i ended up with a 75 dollar fee. its still in despute and has been for 3 weeks.

Citibank fraud

CitiCard has ruled against me in a dispute with an on-line vendor who has overcharged me on a product. I advised the vendor I would not accept the product because of their disreputable handling of the account. They admitted they still had the product and would not ship it.

I disputed the charge with CitiCard. They ruled FOR the vendor and gave them $2200. I was incredulous. Citicard would not allow me to take the dispute to anyone else at Citicard. They said Mastercard corporation had made the decision. Mastercard advised me by telephone they did not rule in disputes and that CitiCard had made the decision.

Citicard reported my account as past due to the credit bureaus. I am now fighting them on several levels.

THESE PEOPLE ARE EITHER DISHONEST OR SO DISORGANIZED THEY DON'T KNOW THEIR A***s FROM HOLES IN THE GROUND.

Citibank unwanted credit card & legal threat

It all started with a purchase at Shopper's Stop, City Centre, Saltlake, Kolkata, India. I was offered a "Green Card" for which a form had to be signed by me, just for the sake of formality. However, at that point of time, no mention was made regarding any application (for credit card or insurance policy).

Later, an unknown call from Chennai, India, offered me a huge sum which, they claimed, I am the WINNER of some lucky draw (without any participation whatsoever) - however, I denied that amount.

After this, I received a CitiBank credit card along with a thanksgiving letter for initiating some "Goodhealth Insurance Poilcy". I was rather baffled. I did not ask for, or give consent to any policy, nor did I ask them to issue any credit card.

It was soon followed by funny bills - stating that I am supposed to pay CitiBank the amount within a stipulated time, or else I am liable to pay fines and late fees.

I complained to them, informing that I never applied for a credit card or health insurance policy - requesting them to investigate the matter and stop harassing me with threatening phone calls any further.

I sent them back the unused CitiBank credit card, duly destroyed, with a letter requesting them to close this illicit account they created in my name, without my signature, documents, or my consent.

They acknowledged the letter, and it told soon they are beginning an investigation.

Then one day, a person came from the Camac Street (Kolkata) Citi Bank, to my residence to collect the "due payments" from me. I told him the real story - and he seemed to be convinced enough to take actions.

However, telephone threats and bill dues kept on coming. Despite my complaint to both Kolkata and Chennai branches, no step was taken to end this. They are now trying to scare me with Legal Threats.

Few days back I received a letter from an advocate, Lopamudra Sur of Dasgupta & Associates, Temple Chambers, Kolkata - threatening me to pay the (un)due amount within 10 days, or else they would initiate legal proceedings – that too, at my cost!

Please help me out of this mess.

Citibank unauthorized use allowed

I was the victim of a scam, facilitated through my Citibank credit card which I held for 10+ years. I authorized a $50 charge to my card on a written contract which was altered by the "merchant" by eliminating the decimal point and was charged $5000 instead. The "merchant" turned out to be a known and convicted thief, forger and impersonator with a criminal record and had built a business on similarly scamming others. Unfortunately, I found this out too late.

On the other hand, I don't have a single blemish on any of my personal or business records. In support of his claim for $5000 the "merchant" offered a forged document to his bank and to Citibank, which was easy to prove with a very simple investigation.

Although they did NOT find any evidence that I had forged any documents or had lied to the bank, they also had NOT checked all of the many references I offered with regard to the "merchant"'s criminal record, pattern of deception and forgery including the undeniable forgery he offered with his claim.

In the end, for no good reason Citibank chose to side with the "merchant" and refuse my appeals for the disputed charge. In their decision, they extrapolated their authority well beyond the boundaries of the specific charge in question (which is all they have responsibility for) and were influenced by an artfully crafted, yet still a swiss-cheese contract that was nothing but a scam from the start.

Don't expect your outstanding credit record to mean anything to Citibank. Instead, expect them to favor criminals to good customers. Also, do not expect due and fair consideration if you are faced with unauthorized use of your card and credit. Instead, expect a poorly executed "investigation", no personal communication whatsoever with anyone knowledgeable about your dispute, and no concern about being openly ripped off by known criminals.

When this is resolved, they will have one less good customer.

I also had a similar experience with citybank. The investigation got no where and they still calling me and giving me a hard time about it. After years of good credit line with them; I had no choice but to close the account. To this day I have no idea who use my account and citybank do not admit making anything wrong by letting unauthorized people made charges on my card. Meanwhile, I still refuse to pay for charges I didn't made.

Yep. Your complaint was with the merchant -that's who we want to read about. Don't forget, buyer beware. The credit card company only processes the payments that are authorized by the consumer via the merchant. If you have a police report filed against the merchant, the credit card company can then proceed with a fraud case and fraud is something they take very seriously. But don't expect them to simply reverse the charges without doing your part in filing charges against the merchant.

Citibank Bad experience

I had a Children's place Credit card for about 5 years. Sometimes, I was posting automated payments on my Credit card account-- just in case not to miss any payments. I was checking my credit/balances sometimes.(not often as i wish now) I had around 7 month break in using these card when i've noticed that the money i was paying in advance just keep disappearing from the account. I've expected that the money i've paid in advance would stay there. NO. THEY just GONE. We are talking about few hundred $$$. I've called the customer service and the explanation was that the policy of the company: In case of credit on the account posted, the company usually cut the check for the refund and as soon as check is cut, the credit removed from the account. BUT, I did not cashed any refund checks! More to that, sound as nobody cashed them! Where all that money i've paid GO? The next question in my mind was: How much money really disappeared for all these years, knowing my bad habit from time to time paying in advance? The phone representatives of the company are sitting in India, so you can get nothing from there spending long hours on a phone. All of them actually acting as a manager as soon as you request one. LOOP. I fill that the money was stolen from me. They are STOLEN by the credit card policy, which allowed it to happen or probably just designed these way on a purpose. Were the checks ever sent? I am not sure about that. The "Manager" of the Credit Card explained to me that, the only way to complain is by letter and there is no Phone## available for complains or investigations like that. So, for me to get my money back from them is the long way to go. I have to write letters to request the statements, then calculate what was stolen from me. I have slight idea where to start beside the latest few month bills i have on hands. By the way, to request a previous months statements you would have to sent a letter, you can not place these request over the phone or e-mail. HHH. If somebody would tell me it is happening here in the US legally, i would not believe in it. BUT IT IS THE REALITY! Really disappointed with the Credit card services. BAD, BAD and SAD experience. I used to love these store, actually it was my #1 store for children's closing, but because of the situation -- my mind about shopping there, unfortunately, can not be the same. OH... I wish i would never have these credit card and keep loving shopping in Children's Place. Do not get these Credit Card! It is more than enough disappointment's in our life, please avoid these one. If you already have it -- just monitor each move on your account and close it ASAP.

Citibank complaint regarding non - recipient of policy / fake signature done by company (birla sun life insurance / citi bank)

I had taken few polices from Birla Sun Life Insurance through Citi Bank. Citi Bank had approached me for one of the single time investment policy in ULIP and I had given them approval also for investment.

Citi Bank executive has visited my office along with Birla Sun Life Insurance application form / Proposal Form regarding my signature and for the same; I had done my signature also.

They had taken this policy by explaining me single time investment later I came to know from Birla Sun life Insurance that this policy is not a single time investment you need to Pay of Rs. 5, 00, 000/- every year and without my knowledge Citi Bank had made my 2nd & 3rd Year premium amount also by ECS.

And after discussion with Mr. Sanjay M. Sharma (employee of Birla Sun life Insurance) he had informed us this policy is belongs to Mr. Jasua Gupta & Mr.Jasua Gupta is life Insured under this policy, then same time I informed Mr. Sharma that how my Son had did their signature in proposal form, because that time Mr. Jasua was not in India.

(In this concern all mail is attached for your reference)

I had asked Birla Sun Life Insurance regarding my policy delivery details and about Life Insured signature now they are not ready to even reply on it, simply they had sent mail stating that they are not going to cancel this captioned policy neither they are ready to inform me about delivery details and fake signature .

They had informed me that Free Look cancellation time has over, but how they can inform like this ones I had not received this captioned policy till date, I had received one letter mentioned single time investment /single pay only & now they are saying they had not sent that latter, Birla Sunlife & Citi Bank both are trying to manipulates my case.

Dear Sir, you are requested to please take an action on it and ask Birla Sun Life about certain things: -

1. Show the recipient details / acknowledgment of delivery under this captioned policy.

2. Who had done Life Insured signature ones Life Insured was not in India at the time proposal.

Respected sir,

This is in reference to the above captioned subject, I Saurabh Anand would like to bring to your notice the below mentioned points:-

Non-payment of BUSINESS MENTOR'S commission.
All the formalities required to join Birla Sun life Insurance Co.Ltd.
The job profile of a Business Mentor was to recruit "advisors" under mentor's code; he would also get the business source through his recruited advisors.
As per the Company, the Business Mentor gets a commission out of his business & also from the self recruited advisors.

I was introduced to the Company in the month of September 2007. All the formalities as per asked by the company were completed by me on appropriate time and dates.I was properly trained and guided before I started my business and spread the awareness everywhere & an authorised legal mentor code was generated by the company.

I was also given visiting cards printed by the Nagpur branch. Whenever I used to visit anywhere I have always publicized about my profession and the company's brand name. I had always worked sincerely, honestly been trustful and put in maximum efforts day & nite to achieve the targets. Unless a person is taught, guided, motivated, polished it’s impossible to go further!Proper & complete guidance makes a person confident and easier in the career. Everyday I used to be asked about the recruitment by the senior officials Mr.Amol Kalbande, Branch Manager, Nagpur.

After a week, when I asked about my mentor's commission, the whole scenario was different..Mr.Amol Kalbande told me that the company have not provided u the BUSINESS MENTOR code that’s your ADVISOR code.

Mr.Koutilya Bandelu, the agency manager was the one to bring me to Birla Sunlife Insurance Company, Nagpur. He gave me proper visiting cards, used to tell me to recruit advisors n built up ur team. Mr.Amol Kalbande and he were the one to force me to recruit advisors n when i asked tha where is the appointment letter...Its with Mr.Sumit Bhatnagar, the Regional Manager, used to be their spontaneous reply...

I was really panic; I was so confused that what is happening with me.” When I have done whatever I was asked so why all these problems rising up”. I have been cheated badly and this is not right. This is a big fraud with me. I talked to the officials but nobody was ready to settle the issue.

I was forced to approach the Head Office Mumbai. I have personally visited, been there for a period of 20 days and discussed my case with the COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT.For that I had to spend another 25 to 30 thousand for stay and travelling.I had also given them in witting about my incident with the Company/Branch to resolve the issue. But no response till date from their side too.

According to Company's policies once the advisor/agent clears the examination, he will be provided with the certificate and the personal code to login the business. After the commission is passed to the advisor then accordingly a Mentor ’s commission is released. But this never happened with me...I have not received a single penny or a single cheque out of the Business and I have been cheated by the officials.

There are lots f documents with me which the company returned after their acceptance.

1) BUSINESS MENTOR FORM

2) COMMISSION STRUCTURE

3) DESIGNATED CARDS

4) OFFER LETTER

5) WRITTEN PROOFS OF ACCEPTANCE THAT THE COMPANY IS AT FAULT N PROMISED ME TO RETURN MY COMMISSION N AN ULTIMATE JUSTICE.

6) HEAD OFFICE CASE STUDY & ACCEPTANCE LETTERS.

I continuously visited the Branch but they have stopped entertaining me and ignore me upon this incident. I have told them I would seriously approach to IRDA and ombudsman but they stopped me by giving fake promises and telling that it is a very small matter wait for sumtime we will settle it soon as they don’t have any rights or any prior authority to get involved in all stupid matters. A statement from the officials “Wait for sometime everything would be settled soon”. Nothing yet a fraud with me.

I request your kind self to help me and provide the solution as soon as possible. I am seriously disturbed because of their attitude. It’s my HARD EARNED MONEY. No injustice should be treated with me. They have cheated me badly.

I have been mentally harassed and I madly need some support.

I have spoiled my state of health because of physical & mental disturbances

Im not able to concentrate on any work beacuse I have lost all faith & confidence in myself.

Im into trauma not able to work out anything as these people created a FRAUD with me fooled me broke my trust towards work and grab all my HARD EARNED MONEY and not ready to paya sigle penny back.

I might seek help through media & created public awareness.

I want the authorities to take some measures so that any other person will not be cheated or fooled in the future. This would really hamper the Company's Brand Image & reputation.

Thanking You,

Yours sincerely,

SAURABH ANAND.

BUSINESS MENTOR .
