I have subscribed to billdesk bill payment services for my mobile and telephone bills for the past 2 years. In these 2 years, I have been charged late payment charges of Rs 100 + Service tax almost 6 times. Everytime the local billdesk officials take 1 month to analyze and recognize the problem and then blame it on the software or the bank officials etc etc etc.
Each time the billdesk officials also confirms ORALLY (never in writing) regarding the recredit of such charges (except service tax) by the service provider but it rarely happens. In a few cases, which i know, the payment of ULIP (insurance policy) has not been made which has resulted in lapsation of policy. This has also resulted in losses to the customer as the share market at the time of scheduled payment was lower than now the NAV of the units were lower at the time of scheduled payment than now. No body takes the complaints in Billdesk seriously. I have spoken to the higher ups based at delhi but no improvement in services, Sometimes, you even get a e-mail from billdesk regarding confirmation of successful payment before the due date of the bill but when the next bill comes, you know the the e-mail was a lie. The billdesk officials again blame this on software but how long does it take for this mistake to be rectified. Can it happen for months in row?
USELESS service, even after requested for disconnection of services, services not discontinued.
