This is a scam / fraudulent company, please read all the negative reviews online and find a reputable website to buy your glasses from instead, I got burned more than $250 by this company, they sent the wrong prescription and the lenses were all scratched up, refused to return or refund.

Best Buy Eyeglasses Customer Service; Delivery

I ordered glasses and paid extra for two day delivery. Even giving ample processing time, the glasses did not arrive for over a week, two days after my husband's birthday. We ended up returning the glasses, and it took the company over two weeks to return my money even after I had been told by a customer service agent on the phone that I would have my money within 24-48 hours. When I called back after 72 hours and I still hadn't received my refund, I was told it would be at least another three days due to the weekend. Then, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was hung up on. No apologies, no offers of assistance, just rudeness and a dial tone. Never deal with this company.

Best Buy Eyeglasses Steer clear

This is a total sham of an outfit. Like most people when you can save a buck your interest is peaked.

They sell discount eyewear for a reason. The frames look like they came from a dollar store, and the lenses are even worse. I ordered a pair of RayBan frames with progressive lenses, transitions, plastic lenses for safety, and the kicker the SCRATCH PROOF coating. Not a cheap package.

Only using hot water and a eyeglass cleaning cloth has made the lenses look as though I used steel wool on them. The frames look as though the logo should say RayPan denoting a cheap knockoff. I contacted the company and received an email telling me about their return policy. Seems more like a money grab on the 2nd run policy. They would replace the faulty lenses (their fault) at a cost of 50% of the original purchase price. I always like to pay for merchandise twice just to have the opportunity to see if they will get it right the second time. I need to get new lenses in my glasses, but this time I will use common sense and pay a reputable optometrist in my own town to do the job.

I rate them a 1 out of 10 in all categories and highly reccomend not getting duped as I did. I see now on the net that a little research on my part would have showed me this. Ah yes hindsight rears it's ugly head again.

All products purchased from our company come with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. All Rx lenses come with a scratch resistant coating, as there is no such thing as “SRATCH PROOF”. Please note that there is a difference of normal wear and tear vs damaged by misuse. The warranty only covers manufacturer defects. The longevity of the lenses relies solely on the customers’ care for the lenses. As courtesy, if the product is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, then we extend a 50% discount on all Rx lenses with a 12 month period. Our company recommends that if a customer believes that their item is defective or covered under this warranty that they sent the product to us for inspection. Please be advised that all of our products are 100% authentic as we work directly with the manufacturers. Best Buy Eyeglasses Poor Customer Service and Products

DO NOT shop at bestbuyeyeglasses.com Their service is horrible! I got a pair of Ray Bans Aviator 52, which were too small, so I exchanged for 58. The first time they sent me a pair of defective glasses with scratches all over the frames, so I sent them back for a new pair. Unfortunately, second time around was still the same. Scratches still all over the frames, which convinced me they just didn't care about their customers. I haven't contacted them yet about the 2nd exchange, but I so frustrated with them because the representative, Heather, promised and ensured me that she would check carefully and ensure a "new" pair was sent to me. "New" was right, but it was a "new" used pair. I am not even sure if it's worth the time to be on the phone with them anymore. As an fyi, the customer service don't open on weekends and operates short hours, so it takes a lot of patience and time to deal with them. I ordered the original pair since early May and I am still struggling to get a pair of nice Ray Bans with the money that I am paying. The worst part is that I am not even sure if they are real Ray Bans as there were no laser sticker on the len just like the first time when the 2nd replacement arrived. STAY AWAY from them!

I too placed an order with Best Buy Eyeglasses and received a pair of glasses that were defective and I sent them back only to have them say "Nothing is WRONG" and then I tried to cancel my order and the lady said I'd still have to pay for the lenses because they found 'nothing wrong' even though I explained that I could see reflections from behind me through my glasses and made me dizzy/sick. Both times I have called the customer service was extremely poor. They were rude and short. I ended up paying them MORE money to add more film on to see if this helps the problem and it has taken them over 2 weeks to get this processed. So frustrating!

Best Buy Eyeglasses excessive shipping charges

I purchased a Burberry frame priced at 169.99 USD, and paid 16.95 USD for shipping to Canada with UPS Ground Service as stated on the company's website.

When I received the product I had to pay additional 50 CAD to UPS, 8.50 CAD were for the standard Goods and Service Tax (GST) and the remaining 41 CAD ! were for brokerage fees to UPS in addition to the shipping fees already paid to BestBuyEyeGlasses. The Canadian Border Services Agency does not charge duty of prescription eyeglass frames.

I called BestBuyEyeGlasses.com to inquire about the additional brokerage fee charged by UPS and questioned them if they were aware about the extra fees I had to pay. The customer service representative first tried to convince me that it was duty and taxes, I stated that on the UPS invoice it clearly states that it is a brokerage fee. I had already spoken to UPS and the Canada Border Services Agency and had a good understanding regarding the fees. UPS had also informed me that by choosing UPS ground service, BestBuyEyeGlasses acquired unnecessary brokerage fees on my behalf and should have sent the product by air instead.

To make a long story short, the three customer service representatives from BestBuyEyeGlasses (and their manager) were unhelpful and uninformed. The manager informed me that they were aware about the brokerage fee and therefore has a statement on the web page indicating that the purchase could be subject to brokerage fees. Interestingly enough they did not consider important to state the amount of the brokerage fee on their web site and choose the most expensive mode of shipping.

I requested to speak to the owner of the company, but the customer service representative told me that she did not know who the owner was.

BestBuyEyeGlasses also omitted to sign the Certificate of Authenticity and the Certificate of Guarantee, which invalidates the 24-month warranty on the frame. This also raises questions about the authenticity of the product that I received.

In summary I would not recommend this company to anyone purchasing eyeglasses from Canada.

Best Buy Eyeglasses Incorrect Prescription

I ordered a pair of glasses from bestbuyeyeglasses.com two months ago and received a pair that did not work for me. I called twice during the 30-day return period and was told both times that someone would return my call within 24 hours. That, of course, never happened, and the return period went by. I gave up and had the lenses replaced by my optometrist (paying for them a second time), who informed me that not only were they garbage, but they were also the wrong prescription. I just called the customer service line again looking for help and was told again that no one can help me. I was, quite literally, robbed by bestbuyeyeglasses.com.

i am currentyl waiting for mine and so far i still have a little hope for them but these complaints make me worried even more. my income is limited so not getting my monies worth would really hurt.

Best Buy Eyeglasses eyeglasses

My glasses work. However, I chose this vendor because they promised them between October 16 and 20. About October 20 I got an e-mail saying they would arrive about October 27. They didn't arrive until November 1.

This company is a complete RIP OFF, do not by from them! I lost 300 dollars to these bozos (partial refund on a 700 pair of glasses. Without a 3 page long message - they sent me a pair of glasses because they say I left off the + - on the first two numbers they did not call, or request the scrip from me - Also the clip on sunglasses 190 did not fit the frame! all was total crap! BUYERS BEWARE! please do not send them any money or you will be unhappy and they will keep the cash!...no site review capability on their website because they would be out of business in a week. DO BUY FROM THEM!

I just bought 3 pairs of Ray Ban frames and I got them within 5 days, including the weekend thru USPS. The frames look just like the ones on all the other sites I was shopping on. I called customer service & they were very helpful in locating my order (I wanted to track my package). I didn't get my prescription done my them, just a lil skeptical about doing that online. I am planning to order sunglasses from them too. My frames look real, I'm bringing them to my optometrist to get the prescription so if they're a fake, i'll update my post

I'm sorry I didn't read these comments sooner. I ordered prescription lenses from Bestbuy in April 2012. They sent me glasses that I couldn't see through because they hadn't made the lenses properly for the progressive fit. The PDI was off and the vertical measurement was never asked for. When I looked through the lenses all I got was blur-- because I was looking right at the transition line. The said they would remake the lenses-- but were so incredibly rude and basically said it was my fault that the lenses were that way. They said they never refund prescription lenses and if I wanted to take my business elsewhere they would only refund me for the frames. They gave me a runaround about speaking to a manager. They said that if I wanted to submit a formal complaint-- I would need to send an email with my complaint in writing. I have done so-- and haven't received any reply whatsoever. I believe that if best buy was a legitimate company, that they would stand by their lenses and frames equally--- and fix, replace or refund when necessary. I will NOT be ordering from them again- their customer service is even worse than the quality of their lenses!

This company SUCKS! I ordered sunglasses that said they were Rx available, followed the fours steps to enter my prescription, completed the order and paid via PayPal. I received an order confirmation via email and thought all was fine. A week later I inquired about the status of the order and the customer service rep. Heather, told me the frames I selected were NOT Rx compatible! She had no answer as to why the website would allow me to process my order, nor why they did not contact me to tell me this. They simply took my money and sat on it for a week. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

I would NEVER recommend that anyone buy glasses from bestbuysunglasses.com. It has been 1 month and 2 days since I placed my order online and I have yet to receive my prescription glasses. On their website, it states that the shipping time is 12-17 days. At the time I placed my order online, the frames I purchased were listed as 'In Stock'. After a week passed I decided to call and check on the status of my order since on my online account, it was listed as 'processing'. I was told that the frames were not in stock but were expected to arrive that day so my glasses would be sent to the lab the following day. Another week passed and nothing. I sent a complaint via email. The only 'customer service' I was offered is that I can cancel my order at any time. To which my response is; Bestbuysunglasses, why don't you properly run your business and see that I get my glasses in a timely matter as advertised. Another telephone call and email later, I am told that they are still waiting for the frames to arrive from the manufacturer. All the while these frames are listed as 'IN STOCK'. This was not the end of the fiasco, I was told that my glasses were shipped and provided a tracking number, which I checked and was a tracking # from another customers order 2 years ago! That same day, I received a phone call from bestbuysunglasses saying that my credit card was declined. It turns out my credit card is fine, but the hold they put on your credit card at the time your order is placed automatically expires after a month... and since it wasn't until 1 MONTH after I placed my order that they tried to process the transaction, the hold was no longer valid. Why staff was not aware of this, I'm not sure.
Like I said, I would not waste my time buying from this site. I am certainly passing on my experience and will be reposting this complaint on other websites. I might have more to say after I actually receive my glasses. We will see.

I had lost a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses on a flight...they were prescription..and I really like the style but didn't want to shell put $400 to Lenscrafters. I ordered the same frame and prescription 3 days before Thanksgiving and they came on the following Monday. I am not sure where all of these people who are saying they are fake are coming from...I have taken them to a store and compared them...they are real as can be. I will buy sunglasses again if needed from bestbuyglasses.com

Stay Away! This company is one of the worst for customer service and product. Purchased a pair of glasses last summer. Ordered Gunmetal and received Brown. Sent them back because prescription was wrong and told them about the color issue. They said it was Gunmetal... We needed the glasses and when they sent them back the prescription was correct. This all started in June and we finally received them in September. Wrong Color... The lenses became so scratched over the year and in June they broke in half... I contacted them and they said to mail them back to be inspected. I asked them to contact me when they received them... Nothing... 6 weeks after mailing they were sent back wrapped in a piece of paper with a rubber band... BUYER BEWARE!

I work for bestbuyeyeglasses so I have hand on experience with what goes on in the company. All of the frames we carry are authentic and come from a manufacturer. The call volume is usually high on Monday's and Tuesday's, however that is common with all business. We have been in business for over 10 years and we value ALL of our customers. Items that become discontinued or on backorder are in controlled by the manufacturer and not are company. We are authorized dealers for thousands of name brands so before you bad mouthed our company read our reviews on the Better Business Bureau.

Best Buy Eyeglasses bad service

Bestbuyeyeglasses. com (Also known as best buy eyeglasses, dkss corporation and dkss corp) was by far the worst shopping experience I have had online. I ordered some glasses from bestbuyeyeglasses. com about 2 months ago, they sent a used pair of shop-worn frames, then for a replacement bestbuyeyeglasses. com sent another pair with lenses cracked all along one side. They refuse to refund the money as stated and promised on a previous call. I suggest reporting them to bbb. Org or ftc. Gov if you are having trouble recovering your money stolen from bestbuyeyeglasses. com... Please if you have had an experience with this site, do everyone a favor and post your own personal experience with this criminal eyewear company.
