Best Bank Check returned

I deposited a retail rebate check from johnson&johnson in the amount of $6.79. Come to find out check had expired. The bank charged me $25 for a returned check and corporate said it can't be reversed. They can reverse anything they want! It's just poor buisness! I've been a long standing customer and if they don't waive this I will be going to another bank! Ultimately it was the bank tellers job to check the date. They've checked every other check I've submitted! I feel scamed!

Best Bank Checking/deposit

First of all what bank opens up at 10am in the morning..Most banks open at 9. ANyway, made a deposit (CASH) at the atm around 7am to cover my rent check. Check my account throughout the day and did not see the deposit credited to my account...I called customer service to inquire why my deposit hasnt posted yet and was told that it takes about 2 days for it to post. WTF! it's a cash deposit not a check! The rep said they have to count the money and make sure what was deposited is matched the information is stated. In what world does it take someone two days to count funds. smh just doesnt make any sense. Cash deposit should be posted asap. Will be closing my account after two weeks..not my cup of tea. I don't want to be screwed over with nsf. Hope my rent payment clears. Total loosers FIVE FORKS TRICKUM RD!

Best Bank Regular checking account

I deposited a check into the ATM. The bank claims that the check didn't clear. As a result, a hold was placed on the funds, causing my account to be overdrawn because I didn't know that they had placed a hold on the funds. The check did in fact clear, and I provided best bank with a letter from the issuing bank along with a copy of the cancelled check. I faxed this information over to Deposit Services, and they assured me that the hold would be taken off right away. The hold is still on my funds. I called the bank several times trying to speak to a manager, and they insisted that there was nothing that could be done. I never got to speak to a manager. I am on hold right now, and I am going to insist that I speak to a manager. I just want Best Bank to correct their error and refund my fees.

Best Bank Checking Account

I am so highly disappointed in best bank procedures. This is the worst misinformed ghetto bank in the universe. I went against all customers complaint about you guys because I really wanted credit builder, but these unknowledgeable agents is ridiculous. I paid out my negative balance on an old account. The bank on Farrington Rd, Decatur Ga, took it upon their selves to open an new account because they said I needed one to maintain credit builder, I even questioned them about the new account, not knowing they charging an additional ten dollars maintenance fee for an account I do not use for no other purposes but credit builder. I was bluntly lied to, and now I'm being punished for a so called second chance checking account I only use for credit builder. I am very upset and would never recommend no one obtain an account there are participate in credit builder. I haven't seen no improvements in my score with you guys yet which was another lie. The branch manger said after 3 months it could slightly go up. Bad business Best bank.

Best Bank jack up overdraft fees to charge $37 dollars for $1. over fifty dollars

During the week I spent $17$ over draft which I didn't know at the time cause when I checked the balance at ATM said I had well over enough I have overdraft protection on my account so when I checked my credit on line they charged me a $1.99 for each site so $6.00 for all three but each $1.99 overdraft the fee was $37. My check was $989.00bestbank took half for the ATM checking balance at their bank and 1.99 overdraft fees so for about $53 in their fees the charge me $453 halve my check

Best Bank Very unprofessional

Ok, so, my employer had sent my deposit over to best bank to be deposited into my checking account and when I checked my card it only stated that I had $5.00 in my account and I was pissed off about it because not only was it saying that I had $5.00, but I was not able to withdraw money because they put a freeze on my account all because I did not have a copy of an utility bill. I thought that was really crazy because I have never in my life encountered something like this. Prior to them asking for an utility bill, I asked if they could take a lease to verify my residence rather than a utility bill and they said no. Last, but least I was told that I was going to wait til Tuesday to get my mom. Boy, did I raise hell with this bank. I told them that is not right and that I will not be doing business with them again and I mean that. I am going with another bank. You just don't treat your customers like that.

Best Bank Best Bank

BEST BANK STEALS FROM DEAD PEOPLE.
As executor of my deceased parents estate, I took NOTARIZED death certificates, the NOTARIZED will naming me EXECUTOR of the estate and sole beneficiary along with my photo i.d. into Best Bank to close their account. I was asked to produce a my own BIRTH CERTIFICATE. Ridiculous, since a birth certificate is not needed to open an account. Then I was refused and told to go to Probate Court and request a NOTARIZED "Transfer Authorization" from the court. Bear in mind, my parents are deceased and cannot sign a "transfer" form. Their will STIPULATING me as EXECUTOR is sufficient for all other legal transactions. My task is to take care of their legal business, thus naming me EXECUTOR. Best Bank is keeping their remaining balance and letting their monthly service charges erode the balance until it is empty. BEST BANK STEALS FROM DEAD PEOPLE.

Best Bank Deposit disclosure failure to honor

If anyone ever wants to have a banking relationship in the State of Georgia or anywhere this bank operates, my advise is to run as fast as you can from this bank! My nightmare begins when I noticed unauthorized charges appearing on my bank statement.Contacting the branch in Dacula did no good at all. They completely rebuffed any attempt by me to block my VISA debit/checkcard. However, I even attempted to contact the home office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and they also refused to even acknowledge any errors. They continued to let this drain on my account continue until the account went to overdraw status. Then it took them a whole YEAR to get my bank statements to me, completely denying any wrong doing at all. Yet I was away, and unable to contact them ( since they say any extended stay WILL be given more to file a claim). They ignored this RULE in the deposit and disclosure notice that is given to account holders when the account is first opened. Then they tell me my account is closed and reported to CHEX systems, but mysteriously when I pulled my report from CHEX systems, it showed that the overdraw in the account has been PAID! Someone there at the bank knew they were wrong, and they tried to cover it up. I want to sue the living he** out of this rotten, and unprofessional institution. This is the WORST bank anyone can ever do business with. Avoid them at all costs or they may wind up doing the same thing to another account holder. I suffered tremendously due to there complete negligence. The bank staff James and Charmaine were instrumental and completely at fault for NOT protecting an account holders interest.

Best Bank wrong information on Business account

I had to open a Business account and my friend refer best bank. They have free business checking and no fees at all which not many of other institute offers now these days. So I went one in Duluth, GA and I opened Business account. Over a year it was fine, until Yesterday. What happened was, I went to Duluth branch couple days ago to add my company officer to Business account. Let me tell you what, I'm not an US Citizen but I'm legal US resident so as my company officer. Just Yesterday branch manager called in BestBank does not open Business account for non-US citizen and they will close our account next week. What in the world... over a year no one told me that.. And how come they open my Business account at first place? Because of this happened they froze my account and I have couple thousand dollars transaction come in and out everyday. Everything got massed up because of this stupid issue. I lost about 3 grand because of them that they have not inform me about any of their policy and notified me they will freeze my account. If you are not an US Citizen don't ever go BestBank to open your any account. They don't like foreigners at all.

Best Bank NSF

Over the past week I have been having an overdraft issue with the bank; when I opened the account up I signed up for overdraft protection. I have never had issues with this account since I opened it. This bank has offered me little to no assistance with resolving this issue. I know by law that banks can roll back NSF fees and there is maximum limit is $200. I have money direct deposited to this account and the fees are still piling on. Their offer to resolve the issue is getting a "payday advance" to resolve this issue. This is totally unacceptable.

Best Bank Unprofessional

I have been banking with Best Bank for some time now. However recently they have been very unprofessional at the Branch location in Mableton, GA. I had a problem with one of my accounts and first called customer service, who was very helpful but they could only do so much so they instructed me to go to the branch manager at a banking center. So I did this that self same day but guess what! I get to the bank and it is "temporarily closed", this is on a Friday mind you during the afternoon for God sakes! So on Sunday I am in Kroger grocery shopping and notice the bank is open. I go over and ask for the Branch Manager, the supervisor says she's out but maybe she can help...I explain the situation and she says "yeah you'll need to speak with the Branch Manager". I ask her if the Manger will be there on Wednesday and she says Yes and gave me her card. So here it is Wednesday and I go in to make a deposit and to speak to the Branch Manger named Retha..As I'm making a deposit the Associate that is helping me offers me to open a savings account but I advise her that I need to talk to the manager first and then I will look into it. So the manager Retha is busy with another customer and finally the same associate offers to help AFTER i'm waiting again behind someone else...Now why didn't she offer this when I told her what I needed? So as I wait for somebody to help me the Manger (Retha) finally becomes available I go tell her what I need and she brushes me off saying she has to go somewhere for two to three hours and asks if she can call me later. Im thinking seriously? After I finally catch up with you? But I say ok becuase I wasn't feeling well and not feeling up to a big confrontation but I'm pissed...So to make matters worse she never did call! Which I figured she wouldn't ...and I refused to call her after all the run around I did and wasting my time coming in to talk to her about it! I now refuse to continue doing business with them . These people don't care about their customers at all!

Maybe so but I believe she just wanted to get me to open a savings account so she can make her incentive therefore she decided to offer after the fact. She did ask that I come back after talking to the Manager so I can open the account. I only asked for the Manager since I was told 2x that she was the only one that could help. I find it strange that now this person can suddenly offer some assistance...maybe the rest of them are liars.

Maybe she didn't offer when you told her what you needed because you yourself said you wanted/needed to speak to the manager, but after seeing you stil waiting, good CSR that she is, she made the offer.

best bank is the worst bank ever the manager is so rude i work at kroger where the best bank is located i tried to close my account and he kept asking me why and i was getting so angry and then he threatened to call my manager and told me we are all family i was so mad i just walked away dont ever open an account with best bank its not worth the hassel

I absolutely hate BestBank, I have been with them a week and in the morning I will be canceling my account. These idiots can't get anything right. I tried to buy my laptop for school and my card kept getting denied. I can't even get 20 dollars out of the ATM, my card is supposedly activated but I'm not aloud to get any of my own money, what a crock. I hate this bank and will never open an account with them again. They need to get shut down they are a bunch of thieves.

BEST BANK HAS PISSED ME OFF TREMENDOUSLY! THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE CALL CENTER IN WI IS TERRIBLE W/ HANDLING COMPLAINTS FROM CUSTOMERS. MY ACCOUNT WAS CHARGED 4X $99.00 FROM A COMPANY W/O MY AUTHORIZATION. I ORIGINALLY HAD 86.00 LEFT IN THE ACCOUNT WHICH WOULD HAVE COVERED CHUMO CHANGE ITEMS I PURCHSED. CAN U BELIEVE BEST BANK CHARGED ME OVER $226.00 WORTH OF OVERDRAFT FEES. EVEN WHEN THE COMPNAY CORRECTED THEIR MISTAKE ON MY ACCOUNT. I AM HIGHLY PIST! I WENT TO THE BR ON PANOLA RD IN GA INSIDE THE WALMART THE BR MANAGER CR MY CARD BACK $R61.00 AND INFORMED ME THE CALL CENTER CR OF $74.00 WILL POST ON MY ACCOUNT, SO I DECIDED TO SETTELE EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT THE ENTIRE OVERDRAFT CHARGES. Best Bank Non-existing most of the time

I had someone fraudulantly use my bank account. I have spent the last two days trying to get resolution. First, I was on hold for more than 15 minutes to only be disconnected. The second time I called I was on hold for 17 minutes and finally got a live representative; only to be told their system is down.

I then attempted several times to register for online banking to see my statement and they wouldn't accept the "needed" Access ID.

This bank has great open hours (Sat - Sun)and open till 7pm during weekdays. BUT, I haven't been able to resolve any situations that pertain to my account. Their on-line is bogus. I am unable to get to my information.

IF YOU DON'T WANT BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, INABILITY TO ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT, AND FEW AND FAR BETWEEN LOCATIONS, AND NOT ABLE TO USE THEIR ATM'S - DON'T USE BEST BANK.

Best Bank Shady Business Practices

BestBank is one of the worst banks I ever dealt with! I opened an account there because I was trying to support a smaller bank since all these Banking issues were going on in our country. So I wanted to move from Bank of America however I decided to still use my BofA account and just test BestBank.

My complaint is very simple. I hardly used the account and had $2.07 in the checking. On a Thursday night I deposited $115 CASH at the branch via ATM. Now mind you that ALL banks and it was posted on BestBanks website that CASH deposits are available on the same day. However I knew that it was Thursday evening and my funds wouldn't be actually entered until the next morning when the staff arrived and checked the ATM. So Friday evening I used my debit card for $15. On Saturday I checked my balance and BestBank charged a NSF for $25. And my balance showed a negative balance!

How is that possible, I called the bank just to be on hold for 10min and nobody ansering, I called the branch. The lady asked me if I had an advance or owed the bank and I said no. It only shows that my $115 CASH deposit was not cleared and it didn't show on Saturday either.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because BestBank is engaging in less than honest business practices, charging fees for situations that are not warranted.

I also noticed with their EZ Advance they have the right to reject but you still pay the $25 application fee. I tried to use on 3 occasions, the first 2 times I didn't meet the deposit requirement. the 1st I didn't pay attention and dind't know you had to have $500 deposited each month for 3 months to be qualified. So the 2nd time I thought it was 3 statements so I was rejected then the 3rd time I made sure that I had way more than $500 monthly deposits for more than 3 calendars months consecutively but I was still rejected. When contacting customer service they told me I didn't meet the deposit requirement and they didn't show about 4 deposits I made. So I took a screen shot of ALL of my deposits and emailed them back. Their response was that they weren't able to handle this matter and a Branch specialst would call me to resolve the matter. This Branch specialist didn't call back ever.

As soon as I get the money refunded I will close the account down and I now bank with BofA and Suntrust screw these little banks seems like they don't have the technology and resource to correctly handle individual accounts

I WITHRAWN MONEY ON A NON BESTBANK ATM, NO MONEY WAS TAKEN OUT DUE TO NO PHONE SIGNAL... THAT WAS ON THE WEEKEND I CALLED BESTBANK ON MONDAY AND THEY CHARGE THAT WITHRAWN, NOW I HAVE TO WAIT TO 7 TO 10 BUSINESS TO RECOVER MY MONDAY, , , THIS COMPANY PRACTICE IS WACK... DONT EVER OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH BEST BANK.. ALSO THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE SO UNPROFESIONAL REGARDING HELPING CONSUMER... STAY AWAY ... HOPE THIS BANK WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS IN A YEAR...

Not because it's fair, but because they can.
Three Hundred Ninety Two dollars for a $3.57 overdraft.
As a disabled person getting paid once a month, I tried to reason with them.
They credited 3 of the 14 OD charges they assessed my account .
A full 25% of my May disability check disappeared ...

It happened to me too. I am soo mad at them right now. I will go
into the branch let them know and close my account. They charged me overdraft
also pending a merchant's attempt to withdraw the day before it came through,
two times. It happened once before but this time, such a big domino affect. Its
like they sit and wait to see whats coming and charge you. I am soooo furious. No courtesy toward their
customers. She lied in customer service saying they give their customers a courtsey call. Liar Liar Liar. My cell phone is updated
and I answer every call i get. I will let everyone i know who bank there what has happened
to me and warn anyone who plan to join. I am tired of it. They do not care
about their customers. I was 11 cents short and was charged $37.00 three times
and then a continue fee of $36.00. They won't give me my money back, well you
will lose many more customers. I live on my computer, I interact with many
people and have much time.

You're the one that opted-in to receive these overdraft fees in the first place deciding that the ability to overdraft $3 is worth the cost of overdraft fees the bank disclosed to you. Someone who is not working should have ample time to balance their checkbook and avoid this predicament in the first place. Better yet, why don't you take your computer/ photoshopping skills so beautifully displayed here and get a job instead of wasting tax payers hard earned money.

BestBank has completely resolved my complaint.
Nikki in the customer service department couldn't have handled it better.
Where the people on the phone (at BestBank) were unable/unwilling to help, Nikki came through.
Even though BestBank has NO branches in the state I live, I will be staying with BestBank because
of people like Nikki in the customer service department.

Best Bank Fraudulant Banking Practices/Corporate Oppression of Customers

After many times of experiencing where Bestbank would put transactions through my account before deposits credited I experienced the ultimate injustice. I was out of work and was waiting on unemployment monies to post to my account which was overdrawn. After unemployment payments posted in access of $1100 I was relieved knowing I would not miss any payments of any bills. Carefully deciding to spend the money wisely I wrote checks to cover some bills. Ford motor credit put in to garnish my account from 10 plus years ago. I went to pull $30 out of my account when I discovered I had insufficient funds and a negative balance. The garnishment was for just about $90 mor than was available in the account t. Then Bestbank paid out for a couple small charges and checks like $3.23, $50 check I had written to my mother but all payments of higher value they bounced. Of course they hit the account with countless charges. Taking more money out of my account for garnishment is illegal. Even though Ford Motor credit is the original culpret of this incident submitting to garnish my entire account, Bestbank took advantage by purposely adding excessive fees and charges. I have had previous problems with this bank charging me for insufficient fees after so called paying fees when direct deposit funds were available either the day before or the day of the posted transactions. There are several banks in America taking advantage of Americans by charging excessive fees and using unscrupulous methods to charge the fees in the first place. I have told the legal department of Bestbank that I will exaust every way to let people know about there company's criminal, immoral, and oppressive practices. The only way to keep these companies from STEALING your money is to not bank with them or use any of their services. Most of us know about fees and charges and every. Ow and then a person may choose to overdraft an account then pay the consequences but when the bank that you are trusting your hard earned money to sets there systems to gouge accounts even when there is no overdraft or customer error it is a shame before God. To every company, including this one, that choses to steal from the American Public may you fall as surely as you stand unjustly. Do not put your money into this compay. If you have an account I urge you, especially, if you have had even one fee charge during this recession, to pull your money out and bank at smaller neighborhood banks. The larger many of the company's are the more they tend to take advantage of people in hard times. I have vowed to let everyone know who and what this company is really all about. They are crooks. If you are a Godly person and/or work hard for your money delete your funds from this bank. I took the liberty of reducing my account to .52 to show my disapproval in how I have been treated by this bank. My. Ext step will be to close the account. Please join me in reducing your accounts to under $1.00 inorder to make a mass statement of dissapproval of overdraft charges, excessive fees, improper crediting and debiting practices, nonacknowledgment of wrong doing in basic banking industries, and thievary from customers. As I organize legal action against this company and all subsidiaries thereof, I ask that you save your account statements posting less than $1.00 and records of you closing your accounts out and opening new accounts with Bestbank competitors and you will be able to join a class action lawsuit where every fee or charge that have been removed from your account whether you were at fault or not for the past 2 years will be reimbursed plus a 7 percent interest and possible fees of restitution based on individual circumstances of hardship where your personal finances were affected and or stress resulted from the financing straits this company inflicted on you do to their immoral and unfair practices.

Best Bank Dishonest

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK!
Don't ever have a NSF charge with this bank - your acct will be flagged and after that, any opportunity they have to push you into overdraft status they will take! Skeptics, I hear you out there saying "well if the money is there then you have nothing to worry about". Not true. Best Bank just lied to me about the date an item came through saying it came through the day before the funds were there (I have direct deposit). Had I not gone to the merchant (who I have had automatic draft with for 1.5 yrs with no problems) and asked them to print a screen shot of their accounting system (meaning the printout showed the exact day and time of attempted withdrawal - down to the second) I would have continued to believe Best Bank. Little charges (like $3.05) were bouncing all over the place due to the domino effect and overdraft fees just piled up higher & higher. Liars, liars...

This is typical of this institution.They will change the order of items pending to force the maximum overdrafts if they can as well.
I have had the exact same experience as you with a merchant showing me the day they processed the payment and it was the day AFTER these thieves claimed the funds were on hold.

the bank retrun four checks on me when i had money in bank for it I spock to the manger about this to get the money to pay telcheck i was told she wood check in to it when i asked her about it she for got about none i can not write checks on any my actts because of best bank i guess i will have to call the state of ga and feily bank commisn about and i did get a lawyer to help me with this if any whats to open any thing with them you will be crazy

best bank didn, t pay four checks i had wirtten they send the checks back and told me i had to pay 100.00 in fees but what i did not say ther w as more money in the acct to cover all the checks they gave back 70.00 and i can't get a answer at the 30.00 missing they gave letters to give to the people who had this checks this letter is no good i try to get help from the brach manger it is like talking to a wall trc has sent me letters about this check and the fees that come with it it they cant ge this fixed the next step will be a lawyer

Best Bank Liability

I answered an ad on the popular job site www.indeed.com for a part time driving position. The duties were to transport a mans wife 3 or 4 times a week for personal errands, 2 or 3 hours at a time FOR $500.00 per week. The creator of the ad, the alleged husband was supposedly in China on business and the supposed wife was in London awaiting for funds to be transferred from me via western union.I have to admit at this point i thought it was a little strange, why not send the money the your wife personally and i would start to be of service to her once she arrived. I thought it was all a joke until the check arrived. Once i was the ACCEPTED candidate the initial $500 was forwarded to me via UPS. The actual check and was written on a JP Morgan/Chase Manhattan account and gave a -Delta Airline P.O. Box for an address. The amount was for $1977.70 cents. I was to take my advanced cut of $500 and wired the remaining amount to the wife in London. Being honest i did exactly ### instructed. I went to my local Best Bank branch inside Kroger who told me i would have to deposit the check and wait 5 to 7 days for it to clear. I did not like the sound of that so i left and ran some errands. While out i ran across another Kroger Best Bank branch and decided i would deposit it. However, this particular teller verified the funds and told me the money was available NOW!. I cashed the check and deposited $500 in my account and per the instructions wired the remainder to a London address. I then get an email thanking me for my honesty and promptness. About five days later when i tried to use my -Best Bank ATM card and was declined twice i went inside a branch to see what the issue was. I was then told that i had a outstanding balance of $1426.00. After telling me that the funds were available and cashing the check only to find out later that the check was fraudulent, i found out Best Bank had made it good to JP/Chase and pass the buck the me saying i was liable because i cashed the check. Mind you, i would have deposited it and waited for it to clear had i not been told by the teller the funds were available now. I might be naive, my honesty was taken advantage on but i certainly did not intend to defraud my bank. I was the one defrauded and you're me i am liable. Does not the bank have the responsibility to make sure the funds they are issuing are legitimate? So these two giant corporations have gotten together internally and satisfied one another and passed the buck to me. The JP Morgan/Chase account was open and available according to the loss prevention department at Best Bank. Best Bank honored the check. They made the mistake, their security system and measures failed them an i should not be liable for that... II guess i will go to my grave owing them... Advice please...

Best bank is awful. They have an overdraft scam. If you don't check your balance often they will assess an overdraft fee that will send your account into a negative balance then tell you that something "may" have been pending but they can't see it. The print out will show that the only thing that sent your account into a negative balance was their overdraft fee! I was assessed 5 overdraft fees in a month! Did I forget to mention that I have direct deposit into this account! I'm so damn done with these little mom and pop banks and their BS. Tell everybody that this bank sucks!

It happened to me too. I am soo mad at them right now. I will go
into the branch let them know and close my account. They charged me overdraft
also pending a merchant's attempt to withdraw the day before it came through,
two times. It happened once before but this time, such a big domino affect. Its
like they sit and wait to see whats coming and charge you. I am soooo furious. No courtesy toward their
customers. She lied in customer service saying they give their customers a courtsey call. Liar Liar Liar. My cell phone is updated
and I answer every call i get. I will let everyone i know who bank there what has happened
to me and warn anyone who plan to join. I am tired of it. They do not care
about their customers. I was 11 cents short and was charged $37.00 three times
and then a continue fee of $36.00. They won't give me my money back, well you
will lose many more customers. I live on my computer, I interact with many
people and have much time.

horrible customer service. all the overdrafts they charged my account before my direct deposit hit. soooo mad at them chain effect over 11 cents. Bank of America is not like that.

Best Bank must be for people who either have no money or never check their accounts...no matter they are not the best, but the worst. I decided to bank with them due to their convenient hours of operation, and their proximity to my job. Now, the hours and days of operation have changed and their customer service is horrible! I relocated in August and changed my address online. In October, they started charging me service fees for mail being returned to them. I contacted customer service about this matter; they verified my info; apologized; said they were reversing the fees; and notifying the Mail department to straighten this matter out. A week and a half later, I was charged again for the address thing all over again! I called customer service again, and dealt with another agent. She apologized, verified my info, and stated that they had made another mistake and she was correcting it at that time. She informed me that the fees would be reversed. I informed her of my fear of being hit with NSF fees and my account being thrown off, and she reassured me that this would not happen because it was their fault and not mine. They hit me with NSF fees anyways. I called back a couple of days later when I became aware of what happened. Another agent verified my info, apologized, and then tells me that he did not see where any fee reversal requests had been made, or any messages sent to their "Mail" department. He then tells me that he is correcting the problem (can I believe this?). He then tells me that the NSF fees should be back in my account the next morning. I find out the next morning that he did write up the report, but my account has been frozen to "protect me from being charged any more fees, so I will not be able to use my bank card for 48 hours! Take in mind, I had to drive to the closet branch, which is no where near where I live. I tried calling a local branch, but the customer service rep answered the phone; I told her my issue; she then tells me with much attitude, that they were not open yet and hangs up on me! Protect me...no way! I am being penalized for their mistake. I do not live near any local branches! I pay everything with my card! So, now I have to utilize other funds because of their mistake of not doing their job. Why offer online address changes if you are not going to even use it! As soon as my account is accessible, I will be moving my money to another, reputable bank. Anyone looking for a bank, beware of this institution. Now, I also tried to speak with a supervisor, and was told she was busy and could not help me anyway. Wow! So, their mistakes, a crap load of attitude, and locked out of my account for 48 hours! Stay away fro this bank. It is not worth the headache they will cause you because they could care less about you!

Best bank is for people that have NO MONEY! If you do have money they make it absolutely impossible to access your funds! This bank needs to be shut down! My husband opened an acct there just to have a local bank being that we are military and have always banked with USAA & NAVY FEDERAL...the $500 daily debit limit is a fu@$ing joke! It's Christmas time you ###s! They make it impossible to make transactions! And if you need to withdraw 3 grand or more, you have to give them a 72
hr notice! It's my f'n money and I want it now! Lol closing this account down ASAP! Stopping all deposits!

Best bank is the worst bank! They over drafted my debit card out of nowhere with a $50 purchase I didn't make & then send it to the wrong address for 3 weeks and I get slapped in the face with 3 different overdraft notices of $36 which was rediculous! So they wave them since it was their mistake, now I'm hit with another over draft (that was paypals fault) & they send that to the wrong address and charge me with 2 notices and since they waved them not too long ago for their old mistake they can't wave my new one! This is rediculous I'm leaving best bank and their ###ed banking system!

I have always used phone banking to check my account balance. I loved that it is 24-hour ready available to access my information. I thought it was convenient because I could always check to make sure I had available funds before making a purchase! However, when Best Bank updated their phone system, it changed my access PIN number. For a month, I have not been able to access my account information still. I have called and reported my PIN problem several times and the customer support rep has told me that they are forwarding my problem to IT department and to check back later. I gave up on the phone issue and decided to start using online banking to check my balance because I was given no other option. However, in the process of paying the service to have internet access at home turned on (to check my balances), I was given a fee! In conclusion, I have received a charge for NSF on my account for 35.00. This is so very upsetting and dissapointing. Especially considering it could have been avoided. Is there any way this is reversable? OF COURSE NOT! The hours are great for me. However, it takes days for an ATM deposit to go through!

I have a Best Bank account and kept my Chase account and I'm glad that I did that. Best Bank is the worst ever. I'm in the process of changing my direct deposit back to Chase. I wanted two banks and since this one is in damn near every Kroger, I thought this would be a better experience seeing as how Chase is always trying to sell you something.

Best Bank Fraud and scam!

I tried to rent a car today using my debit card. I was told by the agent that my bank does not authorize the use of my debit card to rent vehicles. is that legal? It's my money in my bank account and i can not understand how they can demand these establishments not to take our money. I could use my debit like a credit card for any other purchase beside renting a vehicle. that transaction left my daughter and me stranded at the airport. Also, i contacted best bank and they told me that they have another card that would allow me to rent vehicles. I stated to them, sure send me the card so i could be able to rent me a car. Then she went to state that its a form i need to fill out. I asked them what form is it you want me to fill out. She stated that it's an application for a credit card. That is when i became upset and had very few choice words.

If anyone could give me advice, we appreciate it.
