This is unacceptable as i should have every right to close an account and my bank account should no longer be used and or charged. This is a bad business practice that greg is doing in addition he makes decisions for the subscribers and does not allow us to make decisions and or offers a way out to close ones account and this is illegal! I WANT MY BEAR411 ACCOUNT CLOSED, IMMEDIATELY...
blocking logging on
It use to be a somewhat decent site. Way back when if you were not a paying member based on your nickname you would only log on even days 2 4 6 ect or odd days 1 3 5 ect. Of I brought a membership after the odd conversations one has when the other person is only on the days you are off! It was not month after I bought a year membership the odd / even thing was totally dropped. So I never brought a membership again. Starting fall of 2013 I would go to log on, and get that chat was so popular that it was reserved for paying members. No biggie as I did not have to be on right then. However 2, 6, 9, 12. 18, 24, 36, 48, says later I still could not log on. Just get by a membership. 5 days later I was able to log in and get to go through 39 emails that had backed up. Now I have no idea when I will get on or be blocked for day or more. Now many I use to chat to have left the site, cause of this BS. If they want to have to have a site that is worth paying for the sure need to make it better. Lots of "new and improved features" most are just gimmicks.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
After numerous attempts to remove my profle from their site, I started looking for answers from Google. I found this from one previous member and thought I would give it a shot. I was told to post this message in my profile and it would be deleted...
"Non-paying members of the site are reporting that the site no longer offers the “delete my profile” option on the profile change page. Which means if you want to delete your profile, you have to pay for a month of a service you’re trying not to use. It also means the site owner has your information and you cant delete it."
there's quite a few problems with the site and the webmaster
Similar issues as other reviewers. The site is coded from the 1990's, and the total number of members is actually quite inflated, the actual active member count is quite low. The site just went thru another week of 'only VIP members (paid) can log in', and oddly enough my paid subscription had just run out days before... I think it's set up so it locks you...

I attempted to re-join this site. I had a membership under a prior username and deleted it some years ago. I then received an e-mail enjoining me to go to GayDaddy.com (which is Bear411's way of saying you've been rejected for Bear411.) I joined the site for free. After a few visits to the site, I was blocked access unless I paid. I decided to subscribe for a month, after that month, the same thing started happening, some days it would allow me in, other days it would require me to pay in order to access my account. Now I'm trying to delete my account, and the site will not allow it.
