I was going over my bank statement and to my dismay there was two charges in one week from beachbody for $64.75 each. I was confused because I didn't order anything from them. So I call cust. serv. and they tell me their servers are down and to call back, so I do three times, finally the fourth time, three days later, I get someone they tell me it was ordered over the phone, and they tell me the shipping address and phone number of the supposed order Ha, it isn't mine,so they have shipped videos to someone else charged my card and won't refund the money! They record their calls and say that the person that made the order sounded just like I do,. I was baffled. Yet they wouldn't let me listen to the recorded phone record. I am disgusted with this company, and have now found that many others are too. If this is not resolved and I don't get my money back i will file a formal complaint with the state better business bureau, and contact legal representation, because if it happened to me, how many others has this same thing happened to?

Sincerely
C. Chase

Tried to stop auto ship of vitamins and Beach Body wouldn't stop auto ship unless we paid $35, for what I assume is a cancellation fee. Total BS. How they get away with this is beyond me.

Something weird happened to me. I wanted Chalean Extreme, so I went to the Beach Body site. I started to order, and then I noticed they wanted to charge me in 3 increments; almost like an autoship, but not quite. So I backed out of the site, deleted my name, address and credit card number, and NEVER confirmed anything. Then, I went to Amazon and purchased the product in 1 payment.

Sure enough, about a week after I got the Amazon product, I got Chalean Extreme from Beach Body. I immediately called them, cancelled it, and returned the box. A month later, 2 more debits were taken from my credit card AGAIN. I called them up, and told them to fix it NOW. To their credit, I got all the credits on my card the next morning.

But what is it with these companies? Gunthy-Renker has TONS of complaints due to mis-charging, and inability to cancel autoship. Seems like all the companies that represent multiple products and/or offer autoship are terrible at refunding. If I can't get a product with ONE payment, I just don't buy it anymore.

I ordered Beachbody Chalean Extreme in December 2008 and payed for express shipping. Two weeks after not receiving my order I called only to find the order had still not even been sent out from their warehouse! Finally, after receiving the order I was not at all impressed (prefer Power 90X) and returned the order... I even payed an extra $25 to track and purchase insurance on the return to ensure that the order was returned safely and promptly. Beachbody has confirmed they have received my return and tell me due to a "technical glitch" the refund has not been processed. I have called three times and each time they tell me my refund will be processed within 3-5 business days... it has been over a month and still no refund. I spoke with a supervisor who referred me to the corporate office which is really just another number for the main automated line. The refund amount is over $150.00... Beachbody has lost a long standing repeat customer... so much for their 30 day money back guarantee.

I too have been scammed by Beachbody.com. I did order their product but I told the phone salesperson not once but twice that "I only wanted the basic package." My workout dvd's arrived and I did not have a chance to view them within the 30 day return period. When I did view them I was extremely disappointed! The infomercial promotes it as working out to the latest hip hop music but the truth is that it's the guy who does the workouts, no one has ever heard of him -- he's just some "wanna-be rapper." I sucked it up since it was beyond 30 days. But this month my credit card statement had another charge on it from Beachbody.com. I called Beachbody.com and they went through the process of saying they'd review the recorded call and refund my money if they deemed a mistake was made. I received a call from them and they said I said no to everything except one option. The option being their online program which is given to you for a free 30 day trial and "if you decide to continue after the free trial they'll bill you $.43 per day..." I never asked for this program and never accessed this service or opened any of the gazillion emails they sent. If I don't start something how can I continue it? I had them ship me a copy of the recording of my sales call for my own review which I received today and just as clear as a bell, twice I say I only want the basic package. Beachbody will not refund the additional money charged to my credit card. I phoned again today and was stuck in an endless loop of holds and supervisors who were busy, etc. The last customer service gave me a number to the corporate office which answers with the exact same recording as the previous number I had dialed. Do not buy from this organization! The workout is lame, the music is pathetic and they'll try to sell you products you don't want and even when you say you don't want them, they'll charge you anyway.

Nut sure about 10 yrs ago, but, this is not true today. I have almost never felt the customer service rep (online and telephone) actually cared enough. They are difficult to understand and I have to explain my concerns more than once and still don't always get resolve. Customer Service is awful.
