We haven't done any business with them yet, and I'm fairly certain we're not going to. They're awfully rude to their customers, and treating them like their idiots happens to be their policy. "First thing I ever learned in business was that all customers ARE STUPID, TREAT THEM AS IF THAT IS A FACT NOT A POSSIBILITY AND YOU WILL GO FAR." in response to this person the condo guy who has posted under a different name in this complaint and somehow he just can't be honest about who he is so he can continue to post false complaintsdoing exactl the badmouthng he claims I do. To make a point there is nothing I can say about this person who runs a marketing firm called Direct Marketing and sits and posts upwards of 200 ads a day on craiglsist in Phoenix Arizona. Like he knows nothing about my business, I know nothing about his. There are numerous people on Craigslist placing thier own ads saying to boycott and asking him to please knock off the major spamming of the website and I did place an ad saying he is making all of us look bad not just himself and its casuing a backlash for all who sell the items we do. I am not denying that and I would as I did ask him to his face to cut it out and grow up. I am in no way afraid of my feelings and I have every right to ask someone who is breaking the rules blatantly of this website and acting with no business class or ethics to kindly cut it out. I did not ask anyone to Boycott his business as I think that would be hurtful to all of us. Most people by association assume if he is an idiot so are we all so boycott would be detrimental to my own business on that site. As a side note, he mentions how poorly I treat my customers when if he would read directly above his post is a number of the many positive words my customers, some of 20 years and more, have said about myself and my business. So he is again looking quite the child and acting about as mature as a high school freshmen trying to tattle tale on someone to gain a foothold in the popular group. lol.. This person admits freely he has been in this business which is nothing more than a middleman broker selling work other people produce, for less than a year. And somehow after 27 years in the printing and sign trade, not a middleman peddling others work but manufacturing on my own machines from start to finish, printing and signs, somehow he is in under a year taking all my customers? Mind you if you go to the BBB and plug in his phone number there is no listing for his business. If you google Direct Marketing in Phoenix Arizona you will not find his business listed.. he has hidden himself from being located for what reason one can only guess. But if you go to the BBB and plug in my phone or my number or my business name, you will come to a listing... one he tries to play off like it means nothing which in fact we all know how important it is to be rated well from a legitimate bsiness like the bbb, you will get to my listing which sums up exactly the way I run my business and exactly how I treat my customers... After 27 years I am proud to say I have an A+ rating with them and plan on maintaining that rating. Funny he is not even in exsistence by the BBB while I am rated the absolute best yet I am horrible to my customers and he has all of them now? If that were remotely true, why havnt they all run around telling everyone how bad I am? If you check all over from the BBB to Mojo Pages to Judys book to Yelp there are positive comment after positive comment about my treatment and my quality of service. I happen to enjoy my job very much and happen to work in excess of 80 hours a week, 7 days a week and have now done that every day including holidays sir, for over 3 straight years holidays included... and before I took a 3 day vacation to San Fran I had worked nearly 2 years straight so thats 5 years 365 days a year 80 hours a week - that is how I feel I about my business and about the quality of service I give my customers.. I have multiple people who will go on record vouching this service and time put in so there really is not much more to say... The thing I find most problematic about this internet and these complaint type sites is this.. I have taken over 1/2 of my life to build a business and create a customer base who is happy and who continues to come to me for all their needs in relation to print and sign items... and every bit of that 27 years can be made look non exsistent by some rookie who feels he needs to gain an unfair advantage by filing false complaints against me and my work. It's sad to see this day when anyone can do something so unjust and attack a small business owner who like most all small business owners, struggles daily with things like expenses, taxes and what not along with maintenance on machines, supplies and brand exposure... Someone who merely peddles junk he buys from one guy and scams another to sell it to, would not understand what its like to actually build a customer base one by one day by day week by week year by year so its easy for such an illiterate fool to think he is doing nothing by lying about such a busines slike mine. However, what he really does is hurts himself because no one wins by cheating. Just like on Craigslist, no one will buy his products because he doesn't play fair. He spams and pouts and is causing nothing but problems and so he attacks anyone he can to make his little ego feel a little better even though he is nothing more than a computer chair and a couch and he claims he is a multi state national print production firm, all lies and I have proof he claims this.. when he is called on it, he tries to deflect and make another lie up but its all the same ### and its all just lies ...

This guy is the lowest of the low. He treats his customers like garbage as seen right here and then goes out of his way to bad mouth other businesses that have taken all his poorly treated customers with excellent service. BOYCOTT BCX Print and Jr, or have him print and see for yourself how lousy this guy is...

BCX PRINTING CENTER BUSINESS CARD XPRESS is my new place for business cards. I had business cards designed, printed and delivered all in the same day and for the same price I was paying to send them to an online printer but the online printer took over a week to ship them and I had to send them the design! I will be returning for flyers and a banner within weeks. I highly recommend this location for all your printing needs.

And he didn't charge me to set them up, didn't make me pay up front for them and had an overall very smooth experience and would recommend highly. If you want a real printshop not just a front office or a company made to look like much more than they are then call the guy in Glendale at BCX.

I tried everywhere to get mini buisiness cards which are half the size of regular buisiness cards and no one new what i was talking about. When i called BCX Print, Mike was more than willing to figure out a way he could make was I was looking for. He had great customer service and finished my request very quickly. The cards turned out Awesome...better than I expected and I would definitely go back and recommed BCX Print to anyone.

Bcx Printing Center - Business Card Xpress 5 EXCELLENT SERVICE
Michael from BCX Printing was the most all around sounding choice I had when choosing someone to do all the things I needed in opening my small business in North Glendale. He seemed to know his stuff and the fact he did everything there in his shop was a plus. I needed some of my items immediately and the rest I had more time on - he got me everything I needed right when I asked and charged me nothing more than his regular prices on all of it. I would recommend his business for all the items I purchased which ere business cards, 2 banners, a sign for the fronr of my building, an a-frame and flyers anouncing my grand opening. I know he does more than this but these I have personal knowledge and could recommend 100% of the time.

I just want to compliment Michael on his outstanding customer service and even better turn-around time. I was simply amazed when I called to inquire about some business cards that I urgently needed. I was flying out for a weeklong conference in Canada and I had waited 3 weeks for cards I ordered from Vista and they never showed up leaving me quite stranded. It was Sunday morning to make things worse. WHen I called Michael, he assured me he would have cards in my hands before I boarded the plane. I was doubtful but figured whats to lose? Well needless to say I had my cards delivered to my door, with my logo and all contact info created by him, in about 90 minutes! Outstanding! I will never order business cards or any other printing from anyone else again. Thanks and nice job Michael.

My question to you Lisa would be this - if you were searching for info on a company before you did business, would you in fact search and read one site or would you rather read multiple sites in your quest for a vendor for all those printing needs of yours? If you are like most unbiased individuals you would search multiple outlets for your info. Given that fact, I urge you to check the other sites with far more credibility than this one. The BBB site for example. That I am sure you know is one with quite a good reputation for being fair and unbiased. If you were to go there you would find I have an A+ rating and have every bit the customer service skill I need to keep that rating. If you were to go even further than that, you might come across a site called Yelp or mojo pages, maybe even yahoo local... any one of those you will find multiple authentic testimonials from real ACTUAL CUSTOMERS of mine not ones who never were a customer. It's quite hard to give any type of customer service to those who are not really customers I am sure you can see my point here. Thank you for the unbiased response though and if you would be so kind maybe you could repost after you see those othersites and let others know what these sites say about my business? It would show great open mindness on yourpart and give the true picture of my business . than for your comment here. You have a great day.

wow, this guy sounds like a doozie...no thanks..i always need business cards, banners, postcards, etc., but after reading the responses to the complaints here, I would never do business with BCX just because of their responses...They obviously have no customer service, and don't know how to deal with complaints...I'd prefer that over a great product any day, but I can see from this site that these guys are totally unprofessional...

Like I said, I may not be pc, however I work harder and more hours at my craft than anyone in the business. If you would have continued on in your google search to see if this was a fair assessment you would have found upwards of ten positive comments on various sites about my work and business ethics. Wow! I just happened to this page after google-ing the number I saw on a craigslist ad.
I was on the fence but after reading all of this decided no way!
Mike Jr./etc take a look at what you wrote as if you were a prospective customer.

Take this as feedback and not as an attack - because it isn't:
While any business has complaints few respond like you did.
It is obvious you're angry in your posts and it didn't help your case.
Maybe you didn't realize how public this forum is. A simple - "We're sorry you were dissatisfied; please contact us and we'll make it right" kind of response would have swayed me to the positive.

In addition little clown boy, If you think you need a gutter or a crop mark to print these cards you are obviously dumber than you look, and you look extremely stupid to put it mildly. I think I can guess the majaor factor in your firing from you "many years" in printing, because if you think you can lear how to print anything from a website or a blog, I would fire your dumb [censor] too. Actually, I never would have hired a clown looking toolbox like yourself nor your little cohort Chi Wang my Ding Dong... Good God now look what you did.. Now you owe me $5 for giving up an original line and its only Tuesday! Ok Barnum, here is my advice to you... take Wang Chung and go to a place far far away from here to get some fresh air - thank you and have a nice day. Finally, I will be serious for a second.. if you think someone in the same business for over 26 years could possibly do that while engaging in the elementary practices you accuse me of you must stop eating all the noodles at dinner with Wing Ding. They are full of chemicals obviously. Moreover, if you were not so obviously out to damage my reputation and good ethical business tact, you may have gotten somewhere. In fact, the truth stands all on its own. CHing Chong over there, called me looking for recycled color brown stock. The only brown recycled I have happens to be what I offered, made by Cambric Linen. Had you not had your head shoved up Ching Wang Chungs [censor] and not lied about the fact you know a thing about printing, you would have realized Cambric Linen is one of the most expensive stocks you can buy in a cut sheet without a coating. So your claim of my stock offering being "cheap and looking like ink jet" looks about as intelligent as you do when you finally do pull your head out of Chah Wrens [censor]... Now one last thing, if you ever do come near my business again I will immediately if not sooner kick your clown looking [censor] off my property. I do not say anything I do not mean nor do I lie, cheat or steal. I work hard every single day including holidays and such. I have in fact you little [censor], I have worked 543 consecutive days in a row as of today.. that's every singel day Christmas, New Years included. I will be dammed if I am going to work that hard and this long to have some piece of [censor] loser and his [censored] chick come along and put it down and make false claims about me. Well, almost. On the uncut proofs above, they have no gutter or crop marks, and you can even tell from the center picture that they do not line up. If you do have high tech "surveillance equipment" why don't you post the video or the audio? I wholeheartedly support that. These are just pictures you took at your desk of the two cards you cut to look almost centered. Also, see the picture on the right, on the "banner" on the upper left of the top card. It doesn't go all the way off of the page. It is supposed to cut across the corner and bleed off.

That being said, it can be difficult to get the registration right on two-sided cards with a digital printer... a fact that you will learn as you gain experience.

Again, thanks for taking the time to set up the proofs. We did manage to find another printer to print our cards.

PS. I left the printing industry because it started to decline, and I have a few businesses of my own that I enjoy more. And it's not libel to accurately represent business practices on a consumer complaints board. It is however libel to insult people personally on a consumer complaints board. Please confirm this with your "lawyer".

I am the owner of BCX and I find this an amusing little story here as well as full of fraudulent and incorrect as well as misunderstood claims. I will start off by saying, If you have anymore lies you feel you are going to tell about the meeting we had at my location, I would hold back at this point. Unfortunately you failed to notice my litle "shack" has a complete video surveilance on at all times which records audio as well. uh oh... oops... yes, so I have recorded proof of your little tale here kids. I am giving you one day to correct this lie you have placed on this site or I will take my little tape I have here with the video proof of your visit as well as the audio of our entire conversation and I will handle it under the statute of slander and liable.
Just a reminder in case you forgot, there was no begging. Not on my part at least. Also, if you do not recal, I would not go to you for your lousy order you had to come to me that's why you were there not the other way around. And if I was so in dire need of your order wouldn't I be running to you immediately?
That is the lightest of the issues however. I will correct the ones I can here now so you can go ahead and change your accounts of the events that occured and leave out the lies this time.
First off, there is no garage genius. This home was built in 1940 and the shop was recently errected and just because it has a rollup door, does not mean it's a garage and beings it was built within 2 years I hardly think its old.
The reason for the home to appear in disrepair chi, wnag, wong whatever, is because it is being converted to a full shop like the rest of the old broken down homes in the area or so you call them. Not that it being listed in the national register of historic homes means anything to you, it is and it does mean quite a bit.
As far as anything else, my credentials speak for themselves. Sir, if you were in printing, why are you selling some sort of game meat? What happened to your illustrious printing career? Get fired for your lousy attitude or was it due to your dress code violations as I am sure the clown outfit you had on was not taken well in any shop at all... ever.. my god where did it come from?
FInally, I will tell you I have been doing this all my life, and since day one I have never ever ever offered to do my artwork for free and allow a person to "decide" if they like it compared to other shops work... that is the most ubsurd out and out lie I have ever heard. It is a fact and a common idea that all artwork is prepaid and paid before anything is done and is non refundable. You are eating too much dog meat of your there chi wang if you think I for one second agreed to give you anything for free. Beside the point, I am not arguing with such low lifes who without any prior knowledge or chance was I given to do anything in response, these losers post this [censor] lie of a complaint and figure they can get away with whatever they want and figured if they added some full blown lies no one would ever know. WRONG.. like I said, you have one day, today, Friday August 27th, 2010 to change your post and recount your visit to my shop. ANswer the question of was I begging for money for the work I had done, or did you ask to take the samples and get back to me and I stated sorrry you pay me your deposit and I will do whatever you like and you can have every sample you need or want? Thats not begging. That is business. You owe my shop money at this point. You were never told you would receive free anything from me or anyone else for that matter.
you are a poor excuse for a business person and your lies are grounds for a civil case in the State of Arizona court system. You knowingly have posted false statements with the intent on hurting my business name, reputation as well as limit future business from being obtained due to your incorrect and obvious lies about the events which took place. In addition, you claim with "utter certainty" and give your years of previous print experience as justifying your conclusion, that I know nothing about printing. I my friend, will run circles around you in any topic conerning printing. I also have thousands of witnesses by way of customers since I was 14 years old my little circus clown. this last thing, you also told of the "inkjet quality" samples and the non bleed sample as well... I have posted pics of the actual samples I offered you and it is plain to see there are full bleeds along the bottom and 2 sides. I have posted these pics as they were taken in front of the my production business card slitter in my shop not garage. Just above the samples you lied about, are my newest offering something no one almost can offer these day and something only someone with many years experience, such as myself, could know how to produce. As you see my first customer happens to be an attorney. How convenient. Anyway, gotta figure with these samples clearly showing bleeds and clearly shoing my template which is run head to foot, as I explained to you when we met and which is clearly heard in the recording, the way I ran the job, you have to end up with a bleed. THere went all those years of printing experience son, right out with the clown suit I suppose. How is the tennis team this year wang? CHang? oh ching sorry.
I am offering starting next week, full color printed cards along with foil both on the same card!The foil I use is a fused foil and its not a blind or any other kind of embossed processs. You there with all your printing backround should know what that means right there boyfriend boy? How about you chiapet?
well at anyrate, the foil is a rich and unique offer in itself but adding a full color shot to it, is something that is not done often if at all.. until now!
So tick tock ... there chi ding wong and goofball printer meat boy... I suggest you think about everything said that day because I have it all word for word and its not going anywhere except straight to a lawer if you don't change this complaint.
Get a real job chi wang and ditch this loser. you both make me laugh.

If this company has been in business since 1984, it is because the father started it, or it was bought recently by someone who knows nothing about printing. This is a business that was perhaps an actual printing shop once but is now being run into the ground. I visited "the shop" and it is someone named Mike printing on a "Toshiba Digital Press" in their garage. The "proofs" look like something rushed on an inkjet printer. The registration was way off, there were no bleeds, coverage was awful, and the card stock was flimsy and not at all what we had agreed upon. When we said it was the wrong color, weight, and quality, we were advised that that was "the standard, the only color available, and our only option." We addressed these issues and the owner "Mike" threw a fit and begged us to pay him for the time he'd wasted on the project. I asked if we could take the proofs and compare them to what we had been looking at from other places. He said that we could not if we did not pay for them. In the beginning, he offered to do a few proofs, and if we liked them we were going to order. We did not like them, for the reasons stated above. Mike practically begged us to pay him something, stating that he would do anything to get our business. On a $60 order, this comes across as a little desperate. In addition, the house is in complete disrepair. You have to walk through mounds of junk to reach the "print shop", an old garage in the back. Trust me, if you consider this business you'll instantly wish you hadn't. The printing you get from this place, as well as the customer service, are is some of the worst I've seen. It's so bad, it's almost comical. I usually don't submit reviews like this, I just wanted to deter anyone needing decent printing from this awful company. You've been warned.

PS. I've worked in the printing industry for years, so I can say with utter certainty that the owner of this company knows nothing about printing. I never would have chosen BCX but my girlfriend wanted to give it a try because she found the ad on Craigslist and the price seemed low.

I would like to comment, if I may, that BCX Printing in Glendale and Mike Jr himself went above and beyond what anyone in the printing and sign business or any business for that matter, would have for me on this wekkend just passed.

It was Friday afternoon late, and I, being from a town approx. an hour north of Phoneix and Glendale, contact BCX Printing from an ad on Craigslist. My request was for a rather large banner that I was not concerned so much with the cost as I was with the fact I needed it very large and most importantly very soon! He informed me he was out of the color I requested for the letters but would stop what he was doing and immediately go purchase for me the needed supplies and have the banner ready in the morning, Saturday morning mind you. I thought it was fabulous service, however I later was informed I would be going to Phoenix that evening and in turn requested the banner if possible, that night, Friday night. I thought it would be nearly impossible to expect from someone yet I asked anyway. Surprisingly enough, Mike Jr. graciously informed me he would be working on the banner and I could if needed hang out in his shop and help him if I so desired! Unbelievable and completely true, I am still amazed at the service I received from this business. I find it impossible to believe the person who originally filed this complaint yet find it equally easy to believe the following positive comments received on BCX's behalf.
BCX Printing and signs in Glendale Arizona is everything and more what they claim to be and in no way was the customer service I recieved anything close to horrible as this original post claims. Its sad in these times of free speech through internet channels some people feel they can go unchecked and make false statements without recourse or regard for a man and his business. It's refreshing to know at least there are still mom and pop shops out there who truly live through their work and never would do anything but everything in their power to please a customer and their requests.

You had nothing beter to do because you are pissed off no one else in town will print your business cards for anything less than what I would have you idiot. Go learn how to make your own cards on the inkjet personal printer you have there next to your texas instruments computer little boy or little girl I should say. Tell us what company uyou are from so we can rate you? Maybe get you some customers since obviously you have none or you wouldn't have so much time on your hands to slander good businesses like mine. You asked me for 12 different layouts for your business cards. You are an idiot but I would have printed them anyway and I was cheaper than anyone else even though you straight told me no one else would even take you seriously. WHy would they. Its a very stupid thing to ask but I took it in stride . I have been doing this all my life friend. Your little tale of poor service is nothing but a crock of ###. You are an idiot. Why do both you and your "personal friend" have the same username?

I know this is hard to believe, but we were actually going to order business cards from you until you started treating us like we're idiots. In my opinion, professional does not mean calling your potential customers "stupid." Though, I could be wrong. Oh, and potential customers CAN BECOME customers, fyi. Unless you're not looking for any new non customers, then I'd suggest you stop advertising where new non customers can find you.

Hello, this is Mike Jr and I have multiple people to prove this joker is just that. WHo are you? Did you ever give BCX Printing, my company, your name? NO YOU DID NOT. You are a lousy worm who admitted you were from some unknown photo company in the east calley yet never would tell me who you were. You still don't say here who you are as you used the name John previously. You want to know the best part of this entire fiasco you have started, is that its all true. You are stupid my friend, and are proving just how stupid you really are by trying to defame my good name. Do you not think after 20+ years in business we wouldn't have a client base larger than you will ever know? you must be stupid not to know that right? You also have to be pretty dumb to think anyone in their right mind will believe you when you were never a customer. You complain about customer service yet were NEVER A CUSTOMER! You are stupid, I would hang up on you again if you called me asking the dumb things you were. I tried to be professional about it and I can see you have no clue what professional means. I am saying this in a public forum so it is and will be widely known, if you slander my business name falsly the way you are, I will in fact make sure it stops legally. Its all fun and games but the fun is over now and even though you are stupid, you should be smart enough to know what you are doing is against the law and I will not stand for it. On a lighter note, I urge anyone interested in this, to try for themselves calling us and giving us a shot at being your printer. I was told about this little feud going on from Mike Jr and I am in fact a personal friend of his as well as business associate. I would like to say first off, the fact that they have been in business since 1984 should say miles over and above anything this person who has done no business with them other than a phone call or emails. I have been a general manager for mulitple car dealerships here in the valley, and have used BCX Printing for every one of them. After I leave a particular dealership to pursue other ventures, BCX has always stayed in place. They did this by a no nonsense way of working and that is what has held through these turbulent times we all are involved in. I would, as a long time CUSTOMER of BCX Printing recommend you find out for yourself and call them if you question any of this, quite honestly in my opinion witch hunt this person has going on. I am sure their service will speak much louder than some computer geek with nothing better to do. As one final point I would like to add, this "begging" you speak of which is going on, in my 15 or so years doing business with these folks, I have heard many things said about them, but not once have I heard any stories of begging for work. If you knew anything about their business you would understand they have always run their business with the 2 of them and worked from unheard of hours in the morning to get all the work they had finished in 1 day. I find it hard to believe there is begging coming from BCX. Funny, and this is all a great story for your buddies I am sure, but SLANDER my friend is against the law and if you don't know what that big word means now, I can assure you Mike Jr and Mike Sr know what it means and will ensure it stops quickly.

The way that you write and word your sentences sounds an awful lot like JR from BCX. I communicated with him numerous times via plenty of e-mails and I've seen the way that he writes. He's got a very particular style, and your style matches perfectly. I'm not a writing expert or anything, but, if I didn't know any better, I would say that this reply is JR himself creating a false comment to try and salvage some dignity. Believe it if you want. Do business with him if you want. But, my recommendation still stands, and reading this reply really gives me the feeling that it's him commenting. Nice try JR.

Since writing this complaint, I recieved another e-mail from JR that I should post as evidence. It was actually a pathetic plea for me to do business with him even though he treated me like crap. He gave me his entire life story and told me how once he took over for his dad, he made alot of bad decisions and the business fell apart, so now he's trying to start over. He basically begged me to come back and work with him on my order. This tells me that he is desperate, and I can see why. He probably scares most of his potential clients away, because according to him, a potential client isn't actually a client, and doesn't need to be treated with any respect.

This guy and this business is pathetic. And, I would have just ended it a few weeks ago with my complaint, but reading this reply, that, in my opinion, was very obviously written by JR himself, just reinforced my negative opinion of him and his attempt at running a business.

Good luck working with this guy if you choose to. I wouldn't.

I own a large glass company in Phoenix, Arizona. I came here recentloy to see if I found any complaints before entering into a rather large contract for some work with BCX Printingand in particular the person you refer to as "JR" being Mike Jr who is the son of the founder Mike Sr whom I had done work with many times in the past. I will tell you, this person writing this complaint is a phoney. BCX Printing in Glendale has been doing business since 1984 and has never even come close to missing a deadline or getting any of my orders incorrect.To be honest, they have once or trice misspelled some names on card orders of 30 to 40 names, but never once said anything but sorry and immediatley had new cards to replace the wrong ones the same day usually. That's what I call customer service and this person writing obviously since not doing business with BCX, must have been asking 100 different questions which had no relevance. I will tell you, the mikes here at BCX Don't take much time messing around on the phone. They are quick to the point which I personally like. SOme people like this complaint person feels thats ruse and doesn't like being called stupid which I don't see them directly saying to this person but who knows. Sounds to me like they are pretty much a useless resource as they never did business with BCX while my company most certainly has. And will continue to do so. I regret to say these guys over at BCX are certainly a dying breed but Thank You for the many years of great, prompt, to the minute service you provided. I am sure I am in the majority in that feeling and recommendation.
