Baywatch Swimwear / Online store fraud
I’d like to warn people of online stores. In December while I was preparing to go on holiday I came across an online store on facebook called Baywatch Swimwear, going through their profile everything seemed legit all the comments were positive. I went on to place an order on their website http://www.baywatchswimwear.com/ which was fairly easy, made payment and called to confirm that everything was in order. I was informed I’d receive my order in 12 days. The 12day period came and went and I heard nothing from them. So I decided to give them a call and find out what was going on, this was now the first week of January 2017. I was told they had issues with their courier company and have not sent out any December orders. I then requested to cancel my order, which they gave me trouble about eventually on the 11th January they sent me an email asking for my banking details to process the refund. On the 12th I gave them a call to find out when I can expect funds and was advised everything has been processed and I’d get my funds latest by Tuesday 17th January 2017. I’ve been calling them every day since the 17th and get one excuse after another and promises to be called back. My suspicions got worse when I posted a comment on their facebook page and it was immediately removed and I was blocked from making any further comments. I started noticing that there’s a lot of comments on their post that are blocked. Going to Hello Peter I read the endless complaints against this company, people have been waiting as far back as September 2016 for orders and are not getting any joy.
I would really like some advice on what I can do to get my money back and also warn people to do more research before buying online
