I've been to bayonet hospital twice this past year. I was appalled how much they blatantly violate your privacy. They put you in a little cubical with another patent right next to you, and the registration person comes in with her computer and talks to you about all your private information right in front of other patients. Date of birth, social security...

Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point ER visit April 5, 2022 noon

I arrived after experiencing severe vertigo and started se ere nausea while checking in. I was given a bag. The clerk failed to tell me to grab a urine test kit and did not tell me it was needed nor where to go. I was appalled that every patient was given a needlestick with a large thick port designed for IV (found out later)and was told it was just in case additional blood draws would be needed later. After blood draws, I sat in the ER for hours. I thought I might need fluids due to dehydration from nausea.

I overheard a staff person say she was very embarrassed that for a large hospital we have no IV fluids to give anyone.

a nurse asked mental health and assessment questions. A person came out and got more tunbes of blood.

I got a scan then returned to ER. After about 2.5 hours, the same nurse said that I will be discharged and was critical that I did not have urine test. She didn't mention it sooner. It took another 40 minutes to receive discharge instructions and only after she came over to question why I was still there.

I was surprised at the number of bills submitted to insurance for this visit when vertigo wasn't evaluated, dehydration, and only adrenal issues were evaluated.

I am left with scar tissue from the port and a depression where it was inserted. The artery is no longer large and green but collapsed and purple. This ER does what is efficient but unnecessary when they don't even have IV fluid for all. My injection site is unlikely usable again.

Desired outcome: What to do about artery. A response and financial compensation for not removing port in timely fashion to avoid scarring and result of unusability.

I asked them to take that iv thick tube out of my arm after several days and they threw a fit. It kept flopping around and hurting me. It was the 2nd one, too, as the 1st leaked all over the nurses who were trying to flush my system for some reason.

Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Cam (third floor nurse the night I was there)

I went to Regional Medical Center in Bayonet Point Florida (about a week ago) to have an anterior cervical disk dissection with fusion.

This means that they cut my throat open on the left side, removed disk C5 - C6, inserted a titanium cage with 4 screws and sewed me back up.

They asked me to spend the night in case I needed pain meds. I had an IV and they said it was easily administered that way. I agreed to stay.

All literature I received from the hospital read, “Our goal is for you to not be in pain” and “if you are in pain, don’t be afraid to tell us.” That was a load of [censored].

Approximately 4 hours post-surgery, the nurse (Cam, Nurse on 3rd floor that night) entered and I asked how long it would be until my next pain pill. Cam replied, “I don’t know. What are you looking for?” She spit that at me as though she was talking to a crack [censored].

Thankfully, my surgeon came in behind her and told her to give me a pain medication.

I know there is an opiod crisis. I understand the need for caution in that profession. Caution is extremely different than smart aleck disrespect four hours after they cut my throat!

I want to warn everyone that you should not consent to surgery until you have involved a lawyer to discuss reasonable surgery aftercare!

How I was treated is unacceptable!

Desired outcome: I want her to be fired but, I will settle for better training, a stern warning, and a write up in her file.

Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Staff/patient sexual harassment

I was informed by my fiancé that while she worked for bayonet regional hospital that a doctor (Dr Rami Akel) has made several sexual advances at her including and incident when he grabbed her in an elevator inappropriately as well as pulling her into an empty patient room where he closed the door and grabbed her by the crotch and exposed his penis to her while attempted to solicit her for sex. His approach was aggressive enough to have left a bruise on her arm as well as her hip. According to her she and other floor nurses have witnessed the same behavior to other nurses and patients aswell. AHCA has been informed of these incidents. This is a very serious matter and we hope this is addressed. These doctors are allowed to behave in any manner they see fit and this is unacceptable. we are now seeking legal advise regarding this situation.

Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Fabricating hospital records

This is the closest anyone will ever be to the truth about hospitals and police using medical alcohol as drinking alcohol. I made a website at policeabuse.weebly.com It is not exciting, but it describes in detail with pictures, recordings, and other documents about how police completely fabricate crash scenes-- including 911 calls.

Not only do police and hospitals use medical alcohol for dui's, lawyers know this is happening and are involved in major whitecollar crimes.
