Baskin-Robbins ice cream cake/customer service

This is a long review but it is worth the read for anyone considering going to Baskin Robbins in Mansfield, Texas off of Walnut Creek and 287 to buy an ice cream cake. We decided to buy our son an ice cream cake for his graduation, and thought Baskin Robbins would be the best place to purchase one. Me and my husband went to the store to place our order. We looked through their cake book and chose a really simple and cute graduation cake. The price came up to $58.99 because we paid $10.00 extra dollars for the "deco-pac" as it was called on our receipt. A little pricey for even an ice cream cake in my opinion, but it was for our son's graduation, so we were okay with the price. We chose to pick up the cake the day of the graduation at 11 when the store opened. We got to the area early, so we went to another store while we waited for BR to open. Well, 11 came and went and the store still wasn't open. My husband went to the door and knocked, thinking someone was in the back. No one was, and it wasn't until about 11:08, while my husband stood at the door, before an employee arrived. My husband told the employee we were there to pick up a cake at 11 and the employee informed him that they didn't open until 11. My husband then told the employee it was almost 10 minutes past 11! There was no apology or anything from the employee. We were already upset about the lack of punctuality, but then once we got our cake, we only got more upset. The $60.00 cake looked like a cake made at home. It was sloppy; it looked like a child did it. The icing trim around the cake and the words written on it appeared to just be slapped on the cake like the person who did it was in a hurry and could not be bothered with making the cake more presentable since we had paid for it ahead of time. The $10.00 additional dollars for the 'deco-pac" kit was only the little plastic graduation cap - definitely not worth $10.00. It should have come standard with the cake, but it was our fault for not asking why that wasn't the case. I'd hate to see what the cake would have looked like minus it. We didn't say anything to the employee, because we didn't believe he was in charge, and our son's graduation was the day we picked up the cake. We didn't have time to hang around the store; if we hadn't paid for the cake ahead of time, we'd have left it there and picked up a cake at the Tom Thumb near by. Once we got home, we took pictures of the cake and my husband started calling the store to see when a manager would arrive. We got the runaround from the employee who was late to the point where he wasn't answering the phone. Add to the fact that when my husband called the employee never once said "this is Baskin Robbins". That was just another point of un-professionalism that became more aware as the day went on and we tried to reach a manager. After the graduation and after we'd gone out to eat, my husband went back to calling the store for a manager. He finally spoke to Grayson, who provided the number to a manager for another store, I believe. We explained the situation to this guy (whose name I cannot recall), down to our displeasure with the look of the cake after he told me he was the one who made it. He told us he'd reach back out to us within 24 hours because he was out of town at the moment. The next day, we got no call, so again, my husband called him. He didn't answer, so my husband called the store where an employee gave him the number to the actual store manager, Sonya. I wish I could say that conversation went better, but it did not. She was rude. She kept interrupting and talking over me and my husband. She was too busy trying to anticipate what we were going to say and reply than actually listening. If she is the store manager then it is no wonder that her employees show up to open the business almost 10 minutes after the store should have been opened, and seem to take no pride in customer service. She kept telling us to bring the cake back to the store, like that was the only way to prove we had bought a cake from there. I kept telling her that we weren't about to waste our time coming back to the store to show her whatever portions of the cake was left. She kept saying she'd give us 50% off our next order if we brought whatever was left of the cake to the store. I kept telling her that we had no plans to ever come to their store again so that 50% off was pointless. By the way, if you were really concerned with customer service, it shouldn't be contingent on you having the remains of a cake to try to make a customer's poor experience better. Again, lack of professionalism and willingness to go that extra mile (without further inconveniencing the customers by asking them to come back to your store). We told her we had pictures of the sloppy cake, but those weren't good enough according to her, she had to have the actual cake. Then she asked why we didn't stay at the store if we were unhappy, and I told her that if it weren't for our son's graduation that day, we would have. We would have demanded a new cake be done or a refund so we could go to a company that actually cared about the way the cakes they sold looked. Based on how things appear to be run there, we'd have been there all day waiting on someone in management to come to the store. Thanks but I will pass on that. I am so disappointed with this whole experience with this particular store. At least 2 employees for this store lack professionalism and any type if work ethic that shows they care about the company or the image they represent for the company. We will not be going back to this store again, if we want ice cream, we will go to Dairy Queen or Braum's from now on. I hope you can see the pictures of the cake we got compared to the cake they were promoting and see the total difference in the cake they sell and the cake we got. I understand that most BR's are franchises so the likelihood of anything being done is slim to none, but I wanted others to know before they made a decision to go to this store for anything especially an ice cream cake. Never again will we step foot inside this one. If you need an ice cream cake, I wouldn't suggest you go here because the work is sloppy and careless.

Baskin-Robbins ice cream cakes

I bought an ice cream cake from al rehab, cairo Egypt branch, it' The first time i get cakes from Egypt i always get it when i'm abroad...The sponge cake layer is almost half the cake ( see attached photos)
I called the customer service and the said that's the way they make cakes in Egypt!

Baskin-Robbins ice cream

Dear Sir
We have ordered 450 ml of tender coconut ice cream through swiggy on 13/5/2019 at about 20.30 hrs vide siggy order no [protected] picked up from 15 ekdalia Road, 2019-05/C/[protected] in a very shabby and melted texture when the same was reported to the delivery boy he bluntly said please contact baskin Robbins
We are very regular clients of your product, unfortunately we are totally disappointed with the product delivered,
We strongly demand refund and or compensation immediately.

Baskin-Robbins Staff

My name is Sara and I'm complaining of the rude service I received from a staff named Hanim at BR, D'Pulze Cyberjaya. My sister is authistic and while I was at the cashier paying, Hanim rudely asked my sister to hold one of the ice cream cone while she prepares the second one. Perhaps she is oblivious to the fact that my sister is special, regardless her attitude was rude and unpleasant.

Baskin-Robbins rude and poor service by the staff

Today, for lunch I went to baskin robbins counter to buy icecream with my friend who is pregnant and craved for icecream. There were three staff (2 male and 1 female). Only one staff was entertaining a customer who was buying icecream (the rest two were minding their own business. As we were waiting (less than 10 minutes), there was another chinese family came to buy icecream. The staff at the counter, didn't even entertain us waiting there to buy icecream. He straight away asked the chinese family who just arrived. I asked him why didn't he asked us as we have been waiting for our turn quite sometime. He gave me a stare and continued scooping icecream. He didn't even apologize with us. Another staff came casually and asked us (whom saw us standing there). I asked him, did he noticed us waiting to buy icecream. He replied yes.

Its total embarrassment for baskin robbins to have such non dedicated staff. I have purchased your item at many outlets. I had never experienced such a humiliating incident before.

I hope baskin robbins team will look into it.

* I didn't get the staffs name as I walked off due to their annoying attitude.

Baskin-Robbins staff

I went to Baskin-Robbins to redeem a birthday coupon for free scoop of ice cream they knew that's what I was doing they handed me the ice cream then told me they couldn't take the coupon because it was family night. Then they took the ice cream up and threw it away this is ridiculous I am not very happy and it was bad customer service and my son was very sad

Baskin-Robbins customer service /answering the phone

I called on February 2, 2019 at 11:42 am to speak to a supervisor about a cake order. The supervisor had sent me an email about the cake and I wanted to ask another question. Therefore, I called the store to see if the supervisor was in for the day. The male employee refuse to give his name and hanged up after saying the suoervisor wasnt there. I called again at 11:43 am and the male employee stated I dont have time for this I have customers and a long line and hanged up again. This is a poor reflection on baskin robbins and I will be informing others of the customer service here.

Baskin-Robbins not washing hands

I went into this Baskin Robbins and the girl that was on duty came from the back doing something because she had something in her hand. When she walk out from the back she didn't wash her hands she was rubbing her noise, touch her butt and then while I was trying to decide what my son wanted she fold her arms looking like she space out, and every time I ask her a question she'd said I don't kown then I ask her to wash her hands she said my hands her clean and I know that they wasn't because she came from the back and everything else she was doing. I know this unhealthy and not clean. The health department wouldn't go for this. Something need to be done about this because my son has been good poised twice and the last time it hit his kidneys. I was wondering what if the health department would say about this issue especially if my son get sick again.

Baskin-Robbins illegal occupation of premises

My daughter and I jointly own the property at 382 HAL 2 Nd stage . We are non resident Indians . One of your franchisees has forged my fathers signature, and has illegally occupied our premises . My father has passed away . Despite our requests, your franchisee has refused to vacate and is trying to extort money and threaten my family . Your good name is at stake and I request you to look into this matter

Baskin-Robbins ice cream/ customer service

I went here for a nice experience for a double scoop of chocolate ice cream and cookies and cream. They gave me vanilla and cookies and cream. Before I pulled off I checked it and said ma'am this is wrong she said no it's not. I said I asked for chocolate and cookies and cream not vanilla and cookies and cream. She then snatched the bag out of my hand and took the ice cream and told me she wasn't going to apologize because she didn't make it and that girl was new.

Baskin-Robbins baskin robbins store out of stock constantly

This baskin robbins is always out of stock with something. Orders are wrong in the drive thru..I always go back because its the closest one and I love ice cream, its just so annoying when we order something, come home and its completely different. Tried to call them and no one answers the phone. If it wasn't storming right now I'd go back. The only good thing is that the employees are nice. The ice cream also has ice in like its been sitting there.

Please send someone to this store and get it running right. When we go to an ice cream parlor its because we want a treat and its so disappointing when they don't have the ice cream you want or the fudge or strawberry topping that they seem to be out of.

Complaint about bad customer service on the 21st-22th october 2018 at baskin robbins o'connor branch, 398a south street o'connor wa 6163

Dear sir/madam,

I am writing due to the unfair treatment done by your branch store, o'connor.

I have received a "1 free medium take home pack" voucher from one of our friend's friend a while ago. that friend won an entire year of free pack ice cream. unfortunately, the voucher is one day late on time of use, sunday 21st october 2018 which is the last used date was on 20th october 2018. I didn't realize it on the day of used. I have decided to be fair by both side to left the store without the ice cream and the voucher taken.

Today, monday 22nd october, our friend who won the voucher received text messages from the branch manager. the branch manager threat to cancel all the vouchers if I didn't pay for the ice cream that was made on sunday. not to trouble her as this mistake done by our side, I have decided to go to the o 'connor branch today immediately due to misunderstanding and hope the matter will be settled. however, the staff insisted us to pay $18.90 and get nothing in return. we, my husband and i, came today at 8 pm evening just to settle the matter, 20 minutes' drive and back.

Do you expect your customer to pay $18.90 and get nothing in return with your branch staff excuse is that "the ice cream has been thrown into the bin"? very unprofessional

Why do you threat your customers if you did throw the ice cream to the bin, and expecting to be pay $18.90 and going to cancel my friend's whole year vouchers? is this how baskin robbins treat and values their customers?

I also feel that the owner is providing misleading information towards myself as she has mentioned me to come to the store, in which I did (took me a total of 40 minutes to get there and back) and yet she has informed me that she wanted my friend to pay for them instead. the owner told my friend that she wanted me to pay for it. why providing misleading information?

I would like to have this problem fixed quickly. if I do not hear from you within 10 days or this escalate that, I will lodge a formal complaint with consumer affairs/protections western australia. you can contact me on [protected] during working hours to discuss this matter further. I am very very disappointed with the treatments and wish this issue to be taken seriously and resolved.

Baskin-Robbins problem with the name

I visited a nearby baskin robbin outlet and I found brownie a la mode in the menu.
Can you tell me what is brownie a la mode? Because that's really disappointing using french words without the correct accent. As per my knowledge, it should be à la mode as it has a certain meaning. Being such a recognised brand, the correction is pre requisite. Response is awaited.

Baskin-Robbins mississippi mud and berry chill flavour purchases at malabar mall food court caused stomach upset and vomiting to both of us

Me and my friend went to see movie and we purchased small cup of Mississippi mud and berry chill flavour at the food court. This was the only purchase we had on food that day. On reaching home both of us vomited the ice cream. My friend is having diarohea also today morn. Purchase was done around 915 pm on oct 1. Seems the shop is selling old stuff.

Baskin-Robbins ice cream

Good evening i ordered a fresh tub of banana caramel ice cream from Baskin robins in hatch end London, when i started to eat the ice cream within 5 mins of delivery, the tub was full of ice crystals ranging in size from tiny to pea size, it was unpleasant and could not be eaten, i attribute this to poor freezer managment Sadly I have no freezer to keep and return this item but I am sure the store has the rest to check.

I am a dealer situated at Mangalore location., my shop name is "The IceCream Shop", Mangalore, Billing Name: "The ORK".
Its really shame to tell the way service and delivery is provided here in Mangalore. Baskin Robbin ice cream products are expired at my store past 8 months still no executive visited my store and delivered fresh products. I'm holding 9 brands of Ice Creams at my store, Only from Baskin Robbins service is pathetic Total amount of Rs. 2000/- of products are expired. Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager or Area Sales Executive are not even bothered to give or take proper information from the store.

Baskin-Robbins ice cream

I have ordered a few times from this Baskin Robbins in West Hempstead on Cherry Valley Road. Each time the ice cream has had chunks of ice and completely crystallized - not just one flavor I purchase 4-5 double scoop cups. I had to throw out the ice cream this time because I was afraid my children would get sick - I complain and no change! The food is disgusting!

Baskin-Robbins poor customer service, problem with using gift card

I visited the Baskin Robbins store on Friday, August 24 as a celebration for my son's birthday. My family and I ordered 4 ice cream cones. I had a Baskin Robbins gift card that I was planning or payment. The service employee said they cannot accept the card. I asked what the prolem was and she said we don't accept the card. Unfortunate, I had walked over with only the gift card and some change in my pocket. I asked if she could contact someone to see if the balance can be removed from my card and she said angrily said "No, you have to pay". I said I was trying to pay but I didnt have the money as I was planning on paying with I was yelled at by employee for trying to use gift card. After staying on hold for approximately 20 minutes with the customer service line on the back of the card I gave up. I had some change in my pocket and had to borrow some more money from my son and a random stranger to pay for the ice cream. I would like to be contacted and compensated for the ice cream as this was truly a very poor experience. I

Baskin-Robbins workers were really rude

Went in to store #360067, a busy night with market night happening, two girls only working and one was really rude can't tell you which 1 cause they both had no name badge. The portion of the sundae brownie I received smaller than when I normally order it at another location. Also ordered a cappuccino blast and handed the free quency card when you buy 7 they Punch a hole. Instead of saying it nicely that they dont Except that she said Very rudely they don't do those.

Baskin-Robbins staff attitude and bad services

Hello,
I visit today one of your stores in international city-Italy cluster(U04). I was completely disgusted from your staff attitude and grooming. The shop was smelling very bad and the staff attitude was quite tough. I'm buying weekly from your stores, but it was the first time when I visit this brunch. I request from him to add banana on my chocolate flavor ice cream and he said is not possible, and the chocolate sos was sticky and not soft at all, they usually using hot chocolate sos for me. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy my ice cream today, I had my first worst experience at baskin Robbins and definitely I'm not going to visit anymore your brunches.
