Barnes & Noble Booksellers book order number: [protected]

Hi,
I wish to observe that I have not being seeing any progress in the shipment by Bookers World Wide and delivery of the book I order since Wednesday 7th of June.
The last information I got from tracking the shipment by Asendia was that it was delivered to the carrier on 9th of June and no more. I will like to know what is happening.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers cafe at amarillo, tx. location

The'cafe' at the Amarillo, Tx location is closing up too soon. Certain drinks are not available that are clearly posted. What is happening the girls are cleaning up one and two hours early, which is a detriment to business and not good for the customer.

I've had it happen personally three times recently, especially regarding the tea menu.

If these drinks are not available during business hours the girls should not be paid during that time as well, simple math.

Very irritating.

I saw a pending charge order # [protected] on my debit card account ending in 5576 when I called your customer service line I spoke with someone who identified himself as Winter was very rude and insulting started telling me I order book 05/2017 I disputed some agreement, reasons for I never received a book from your company through any postal carrier if any was sent it was returned to sender. Please address same and withdraw from my bank

I am a customer at BN Hilton Head SC. I have bought quite a few records from that store in the last couple of months.
Some of the records have been defective. I have been trated up until yesterday in a positive manner.
I have returned and exchanged records that have been noisy or scratched without any problem. Yesterday I went to replace a record that had excessive survice noise and skipped. Due to the surface noise in the recording i just wanted another title. In the past they would allow me to do so.
The manager (Tyler) said all he would do is replace it with the same title. I told that the vinyl was noisey and I wanted a different recornd and I had been allowed to in the past. He said not anymore. Going forward this is the policy!
He was rude. I left. I still have the replaacement unopened. I do not want this record. He needs to be intructed on how to treat customers!
I hope this can be straightened out

Barnes & Noble Booksellers barnes and noble poughkeepsie ny

The hardworking employees at the Poughkeepsie NY "Barnes n Noble" found the time through out a three hour period to berate many of their patrons for bringing in outside food or drinks, but couldn't, in that same three hour period tonight find the time to clean the poop off a toilet seat in the women's bathroom. Perhaps there should have been a little less shaming and little more cleaning.. 😡

Barnes & Noble Booksellers rude employee

At the El Paso Fountains at Farah store I was browsing books at a bottom shelf. I was in heels so I sat that way I can pull and compare books without breaking my ankles. So this employee comes by and tells me "cafe or chairs only" and that I'm a safety hazard in a store that isn't even very busy at that time. Okay so how am I supposed to browse the shelf if I can't look at it? That in itself would have been fine, but then he walked past an aisle where two girls had been on the floor for a long while. They were chatting, sitting on the floor, and had their bags and books around them. He looked down the aisle and ignored them. So I'm a hazard looking for something to buy, but they aren't?

Barnes & Noble Booksellers customer service at the naples, fl barnes and noble store

On 6/3/17 I took my old tablet Nook into the store because it was not working. I dealt with Tray, the "nook supervisor". He quickly told me that my old Nook was "dying" and I needed a new one. I believed him and bought the Glo-light, since I have no need for the tablet capacity. He set it up for me and I noted the time was incorrect. He told me it would "self-correct". When I got home the time was still incorrect and I was unable to set it. My plan was to bring it into the store when I had time.

Last night I attempted to order a new book and was unable to connect to my WIFI. My old device connected immediately and I downloaded the book on the old device.

I went into the store today (before 10am) before 10am and was treated extremely rudely by "Marcy" who countered everything I said by telling me that I was wrong. For example, I had my very early Nook with me (similar to the one I bought but it doesn't light) and referred to it as the first Nook. She quickly told me I was wrong. There was an earlier Nook. Next I said that I was unable to connect to WIFI at home and she told me that perhaps my WIFI was not working, not even giving me a chance to tell her it was working and in fact I connected the other device. I told her I didn't want to deal with her.

Tray came in, listened to what I said, connected to WIFI at the store, the time corrected and my book downloaded. I told him I thought there was a problem with the device. His solution was to offer me my money back. He would not consider that perhaps there was something wrong with the device.

I came back to my office and attempted to shut it down. I could not shut it down by instead had the screen "jump" all over, and flash on and off. I had my assistant try and she could not power it off, either.

I called Tray and he informed me that "sometimes this happens". I kept my finger on the button for 6 minute while talking to him and eventually it powered down. He admitted that perhaps something is wrong with the device, but he doubted it. I asked if he would be willing to exchange it for another device and reluctantly he said yes, telling me to come in. I explained that I have meetings the rest of the day and wondered if there was someone who could pick it up and do the exchange. My office is across the street, and of course he could not do that.

In great frustration I said it appeared that the device is now working and at my convenience I will bring it in. I also told him I would let him know if I can connect to my WIFI at home.

This experience is extremely frustrating and unlike any I have had at a Barnes and Noble store. There is a pervasive attitude that the customer is always wrong.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers barnes and noble membership card

My credit card was automatically charged $25 per year for 2015, 2016 and 2017 for automatic membership to "B and N" even though I never visited the store in 2015-17. I was told that I had signed up for automatic membership in 2014 although I do not remember being asked nor would I have agreed. I learned later from others that I may have been automatically enrolled unless I stated that I did not want it in 2014. I did notice a charge that was inordinately high for me of $75 from Barnes and Noble that must have included membership. I did not receive a separate notification nor do I remember getting a membership card. Barnes and Noble refunded my 2017 fee of $25 since I called before my membership expired on 6/28/2017. This practice reminds me of the Wells Fargo Bank scam when accounts were opened for customers without their knowledge. Is this happening to others? As for me, I will not go to a Barnes and Noble store again, even to use their bathroom. Is this worth it to the company for $25/year?

Barnes & Noble Booksellers b&n never shipped item purchased, never provided order info but charged visa anyway

www.barnesandnoble.com website is implemented to obfuscate and even deny problem resolution regarding an order that was billed and posted to my VISA. The site doesn't provide a confirmation with an order number at time of sale... thus their entire customer service is based upon an order number that was never provided. Not-with-standing VISA card is billed at time of purchase. How clever.. of them.. to implement an automated sales system that produces revenue without providing products purchased and no way to follow up. The implementation is intentional it appears. Take an order, charge the buyer's credit card.. and do nothing else.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers rudest manager

The manager for the 90th and Shea, scottsdale Barnes and Noble is truly someone I would not want to even talk to.

I love reading but not long ago, I was browsing the shelves, and the manager comes and says I had been tresspassed from the store.

I politely asked for the reason why, but I was threatened by the manager with the police.

I want this guy fired, and I will appeal this to the fullest extent of the law.

I was in your store in Fort Worth on Overton Ridge
I went to this location to purchase a new Nook I stood with the Nook's for 30 minutes at no time did anyone ask if they could help me did they walk by yes at least 4 different employees and a few of them more than once did they make eye contact they tried not to I've never experienced the from your team members I have bought the original nook, the Nook Color, the Nook Tablet and now have Samsung Tab3 my library has 959 books on it I guess it's time to check out the Kindle if you have any questions [protected]@gmail.com

Barnes & Noble Booksellers misleading online information.

I tried purchasing two ebooks for my nook and unfortunately it did not go through because of misleading information. I currently no longer live in the United States and reside now in Canada. Online there are two options for payment card and also for billing adress saying United States and Canada, I entered Canada and all representative are saying you guys do not accept Canadian transactions for ebooks but only for physical copies. It does not make sense because they're the same thing realistically. Please put that on your website because I've purchased a nook where I can no longer use!

Barnes & Noble Booksellers cd I bought that can't be return nor refund

I bought 2 CDs at $87.39 yesterday April 29 at Barnes and Noble 3000 Stevens Creek Blvd San Jose. Less than 24 hours I bought them back and request for refund as after opening it I found them not the contents I want. Store manager said as it is CD, we have policy that once opened it can't be returned.

First of all, this is something very expensive compare to books. For books you have 14 days return policy, why not a CD. Both has copy rights, both can be copied.

I cannot accept this answer of not able to return nor refund if it is opened. Frankly if I haven't open, I would not know what it is about. If I have known what it is about, I would not have bought it!

Me and my 2 friends were quietly studying for our psychology exam in the kids section (because there are no outlets and seats in the cafe/ its too noisy) and a staff member approaches us out of nowhere as if she was targeting us and says "absolutely not", then lists everything we are "doing wrong". She comes back after 30 seconds and again tells us, making us feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable & wanting to leave immediately. I truely wish i got her name, but when i went to find her after we got up (very upset) she had dissapeared. I think this was an act of racism because 2 of us were Indian and the other was wearing a head scarf. We were in the same spot 3 days in a row, doing the same thing and were never called out. In fact, other staff members walked by and said nothing. This was an act of discrimation and racism and all three of us felt violated. This happened in the east brunswick location.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers not granting educator 25 % discount

I have an Educator Discount and from what I understand that is a membership. This month your store is celebrating Appreciation Days which will end tomorrow. I tried to buy a CD listed at $16.99 for $10.99 expecting the extra 25% of and was told absolutely not. I pointed out as a member of Barnes and Noble an additional 10% off from the $10.99. Why was there a problem with getting my Membership to Educator? This has happened before when your store did not honor discounts for various reasons. I think this is a case of Bait and Switch and I did take a video of my case with the Associate. If you would like for me to continue shopping in your store I think you should make good on my situation. I do not think your store will go under if you did give me the discount that I am supposed to receive for the

Barnes & Noble Booksellers barnes & noble credit card dishonest advertising

I was prepared to submit an order through B&N Marketplace for a $144 collectible book. A message popped up saying if I applied for a B&N credit card I would receive $25 off that order. I applied and was approved, however when it took me back to the check out page, while it changed the payment method to the new card I was approved for it did not take off the $25. I called customer service and was transferred five different times and spoke to five different people who all offered conflicting excuses as to why I did not receive the credit that specifically stated "Receive $25 off this order." I got tired of being transferred and wasting time on hold so I switched the payment method back to the original card I planned to use and checked out without the credit. You should not lie and promise a promotion that you don't have any intention of honoring just to get people to use your high-interest credit card. I will never use the one I was approved for based on this experience.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers return policy

12 days to return merchandise is not sufficient. I had my receipt and the videos were unopened. Barnes and Noble does have competition. I'll use my gift card and then never buy another item from Barnes and Noble. The strategy of treating customers poorly may be beneficial in the short-term, but it won't be effective in the long-term with this former customer.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers international delivery

Description of the incident: I bought a book as a birthday gift to a friend - the product specificity even included a birthday card and priority mail. It was an international delivery, as well as an international payment credit card.
During delivery time, the tracking system provided by B&N stopped working as their carrier would stop up-dating - information provided on a first customer support chat. Nonetheless, delivery was ensured to occur by Monday, January 30, 2017. Today, customer service said that they would consider the product as "lost" and proceed to a refund, which is insufficient to recover international charges to credit card, as well as all the time and expectation lost. Not one single alternative solution was provided. Complete disregard to clients. If not ready to deal with international customers, perhaps avoid offering this type of service online and restrain it to U.S.-Only orders. Never again doing business with B&N, as it only resulted in damages to myself and the company didn't even proposed alternatives. Avoid if possible, or try other companies.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers I could not get help finding a book in the boardman, ohio book store

I went to my local Barnes &Noble in Boardman, Ohio yesterday 01/28/17 and I was looking for the books that hold the 50 state quarters and parks. There were two ladies at the customer service desk but they both were busy. I walked up the cash registers and ask the clerk there. She told me to look in crafts and hobbies section and to check with customer service. I told her one of the ladies was helping a customer and the other was on the phone and she was on the phone the whole time we were there. I did no see any other employees on the floor for assistance. very frustrating! Now I remember why I don't go there.
