Bankmobile Vibe Frozen and blocked account

On 9/12/2023, I received an email that my account was frozen and I could no longer receive access to my account due to a security issue. When I tried to call, I was on hold for 50 minutes and they told me they had no information as to why my account was frozen just that their security team would be in contact with me in five business days. I said transfer me to your "security" team and they said they did not even have the number its so secret! What?!

I am supposed to be receiving my school refund and now my account is frozen conveniently! I then spoke to a supervisor who also told me the same thing the previous guy said, mind you its already shady as you know the people you are talking to are in India or a foreign county. Livid with this process, the school I attend needs to find another method of disbursement as now, I do not know when my security freeze will be released.

Desired outcome: This bank needs to be investigated for fraudulent activity.

Bankmobile Vibe Money held hostage

I have been a bankmobile customer for over 10 years without a problem. I have money in my account meant to go towards first months rent in a new apartment. I couldn’t access it or get anyone on the phone when I first ran into the issue. Today I finally got somebody on the phone and explained the problem to which she told me it was solved. Now my card is being declined by every service it’s linked to as if it is locked. My apartment is on the line and it’s Bankmobile’s fault.

Desired outcome: I would like an acceptable outcome of this issue being resolved along with compensation in some form for holding up money I earned and faithfully housed for years.

Bankmobile Vibe Frozen Account

They froze my account saying it was fraud on the account and now doing an investigation. So now my school can’t send my refund because of their fake investigation they got going on. I called and they transferred me 6 times to the 2 different departments saying the samething. Now my school just holding my disbursement because of BankMobile and their investigation. Terrible bank

Bankmobile Vibe school refund

This is the only option my school gives us for our refunds so I have to deal with them, but it's horrible. They never stay on schedule. The customer service has no idea what they're talking about. I asked them about information they have posted on the website about time frames and they told me they have no way of telling me time frames of them processing refunds. Yet on their site they say they transfer it to your bank the same business day. I signed up for email and mobile alerts and haven't gotten any at all. The only way I knew they got my refund and were processing it is, because my school account says refund sent to bankmobile. Then upon checking bankmobile I see they received my refund...but once again I haven't gotten any emails or texts from them. They offer me information about my banks policies (I don't bank through them, because I'm not an idiot) and when I tell them that I'm not asking about my bank, I'm simply asking when will my refund leave them...not when will it get to my bank. They can't seem to give a straight answer. Even the supervisor I spoke to this time kept getting confused and ultimately angry at my question. And it's been a day already and they still haven't fully processed the refund at bankmobile, so I'm stuck waiting til next week for their false advertising on the website. I just have one thing to say to them directly...Why take on more business that you obviously cannot handle?

Bankmobile Vibe trying to purchase items on amazon.com with the card

I tried to purchase items on Amazon.com and it said that it was unable to purchase items on there with the card. It happened a while ago near the end of August. Plus I've been unable to obtain the items I want. I've contacted Amazon.com about this, so far I haven't heard back from them. I would like to know what is going on. Can you please look into this matter?

Bankmobile Vibe atm machines

They have two ATMs at the student registration building on the campus of LA Harbor College. This is one of the community colleges in the California college system.

On the side of each machine, it says "fee-free banking." This is a LIE.
When you use the machine, it charges you a $3 fee. This is in addition to any fee my bank will also charge.

actually, this fee is about the same that any other ATM machine will charge - but why should they should be allowed to lie to everyone just to get their business ?

Bankmobile Vibe school refund

So I've been calling Bank mobile multiple times because they are not all Saying different things with the With the same situation I've been doing with Bank mobile for about three weeks now probably even more because first off I received the check in the mail I go & verify my check at walmart and they verified so it can be cashed and Walmart can't send a check denied so I called Bank mobile that same day and they're saying oh you can't use Walmart system to cash a check so I'm thinking why didn't you guys say that when Walmart first called you and let them know it was Walmart that was trying to cash a check then I called back again the next day and they are telling me that I cannot cash the check anywhere else because Walmart has verified already but but I didn't know that Walmart wouldn't be able to Cash because of the system which you guys at Bank mobile were telling me that, so then I called again the next day and I talk to a man on the phone and he said that I'll be able to deposit the check into my Bank mobile checking account so he put in a request three days ago for me deposit it is it OK just wait 24 to 48 hours and it will be in your account so I waited 24 to 48 hours and there was no check in my account so I called again today and the lady I spoke to on the phone I believe her name is Paige she said there is no request in the system for you to get the check deposited in your account but all requests we have in your account it'll send you a replacement check and I didn't request from the replacement check I requested for the check to be deposited into my account I can't keep depending you guys to say the correct thing because when all of your bank mobile people are telling me different things and I have missed Out on paying my bills because of you guys are playing around with my check I don't have time to keep playing with you guys And y'all are telling me to return the check back to you and wait again for another whole seven days to receive the check so today I'm going to let you guys know if I don't get the money I'm going to be basically going to be telling everybody about how you guys run your System and that your workers are not stand correct thing to their customers and I'm going to court .

The same exact thing happened to me today! They first told me I could cash it at Walmart, then not then would give me a replacement check so I can cash it somewhere else but couldn’t do it for 7 days... I’m annoyed

Bankmobile Vibe debit card student refunds

I cannot understandably even hardly deal with the awful customer service, and attitude and the whole handling of a situation. My credit card with another company and my debit card with this company, through my school funds, were in my pocket along with 8 dollars cash. Apparently everything fell out of my jacket pocket and whoops! 1400 dollars just jumped out of my account, and into a credit card withdrawal via a debit card. They let these [censor] steal $1400 whopping bucks! I am disgusted. I am told to cancel the card, which I did a day later, because without the actual card it is almost impossible to find the number to call them on and cancel the card, plus they want your card number when you call them to cancel your card. I think it is awful that the fillipinos who answer can't understand that the very definition of debit card is that you have a pin number, supposed to protect whoever owns a card from whoever holds a card to be able to authorize and steal money that doesn't belong to them without a pin number. Ugh>

Bankmobile Vibe website

i have tried over and over to communicate with bankmobile web site to reset my password when i entered the correct password to begin with. it went on to ask me 2 of my security questions which i also answered correctly and their web page on their site just kept looping me around in circles asking me the same 2 security question, this is not my only complaint with higherone and bankmobile but i think it should be enough for someone to investigate the situation

Bankmobile Vibe bank...in general... services, speed, customer care, etc...

If anyone can avoid having to deal with this bank... PLEASE DO! The ONLY reason I signed up was due to the fact that my school worked with them and I had access to my financial aid faster. I have been involved with this bank for less than a year... over this time I have experienced only frustration!
Number of Problems...
1) Speed - Length of time their services took...
I had my payroll checks direct deposited... they would take an extra day... Because the checks were from local businesses, I might have been able to just overlook this extra processing day. However, after the the season ended and I started on unemployment... those deposits took extra days to process too... as if the federal government was going to default. Not even a portion of the amount was made available.
2) Services - Available services were not actually available...
Bankmobile Vibe advertised the check capture feature. However, I tried many times, and to my surprise (not really at all) it didn't work... always giving an error and then ending with "try again later"... but later never worked.
3) Fees - Being charged to deposit cash!
What kind of bank charges to deposit cash? Not really much more to say about that...
4) Customer Care - Constant language barriers, slow feedback and e-mail responses...
The message of the conversation continued to get lost in translation. I would get extremely frustrated... however, it was not the employees fault.. they were very nice and TRIED to be helpful... but after the 4th or 5th time of asking "huh" or "what" ... I would just have to politely ask to hang up... RARELY, would the problem get solved.
I tried to online chat on 3 different occasions, I was NEVER connected with a worker.
I tried to request help with issues when logging into my account. The response time was always minimum 3 days or longer... In addition, the format they wanted their replies was ridiculous! They didn't just want a reply, they REQUIRED the reply to be a copy of their response with you response to their email within a specific space on their email... not a form with a section designated for the response... but within lined arrows made out of keyboard characters (ie. --

Bankmobile Vibe customer service and general business practice

Almost a month ago, I contacted BankMobile to get my financial aid refund for college. Since I don't have a card with them, I was requesting a paper check to be sent to my house. I was on hold for literally 47 minutes listening to recordings and hold music until I finally got to speak to someone. When I finally did, I couldn't seem to make this woman understand that I didn't have a card, that I DID have my code number from the university I am enrolled in, and that I was trying to get my check so I could buy my next course materials, which by the way is less than a week away from this writing. When I called initially, I was told that it would be 7-10 days to see the check arrive. I waited for two weeks and nothing came. So I called again, and they said there was never anything recorded in their records that I had called to get the paper check. Needless to say, I was livid. Then I get an email through my college webmail saying something about how because I never called (baloney!), they issued a paper check. I called them again and reminded the rep that I did in fact call, and I had set it up with them. She said there was a record that I did call, but that the check wasn't sent out after I did, which it should have been. Then later I get another email on my college webmail saying once again that because I didn't call (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!), the first check was cancelled. I called sand asked what was going on and was told that in fact, a new one was approved and the first one would be invalid when I got it. Anyway, it came in the mail the other day, and I am still waiting for the valid one. I am hoping beyond hope that this one will come in time for me to buy my course materials before the next course, which starts on July 3rd. It will have ben a month by that point. No one communicates with each other around there, obviously and they have a whole lot to learn about processing bank requests.], to say the very least. I would never, EVER recommend anyone do business with these people. They don't have the first clue as to running a bank!

Bankmobile Vibe Get personal code to activate my account from south university

Ok my name is Zonya Ullrich and i had an account with bankmobile for Colorado Tech University. Im no longer enrolles with that school and enrolled with South University. I have a refund that is being held by the bank and that my personal code was mailed just yesterday on 02/28/2017 now I have a serious financial matter that I have made arrangements on to be taken care of on the 3rd thinkn that would give enough time for me to recieve my money well nope apparently refund selection kits didnt go out early enough to not cause such situation like this. Now it says on the website www.refundselection.com this...To get started, enter your Personal Code which you may have received in a green envelope or in an email from BankMobile and customer service is telling me to wait for the envelope in which i need access to my account now! So im going to call back again tomorrow and ask again for the code if i do not recieve sum type of solution Iam going to file a lawsuit against bankmobile for holding my refund and for false statements that are stated on websites that bankmobile can do more to assist me than what they have done. Thank you and hope to have a response back from you soon with a solution. And yes I have already been in contact with my financial advisor who refered me back to the bank to start a new account with my email address i have thru my school and once again customet service or supervisor could or would help me to access my funds.

Bank mobile closed my account on December 8th 2023 and said they mailed my check. But I still haven’t received it and I need my money for my kids Christmas this is ridiculous I am tired of having to wait. I don’t even know why they even closed my account I have heard nothing but bad reports about bank mobile
