Bangor Car Care car

Just like others I bought a car from these crooks. I had the car 3 days and all the lights interior and exterior started flashing while i'm driving down the road. I gave the car to them 4 times to fix and and they continued to always have a different reason to what was wrong and of course the car never got fixed. I asked for my down payment back and they basically told me too bad I was getting it and it was $500.00. I told them take the car I would leave the keys in it and they show up around 9pm a month later and moved my expedition without knocking on the door and my brother in law was in the garage with doors opened. They put my financed expedition which was not financed through them on a wrecker and parked it down the street I have a police report for the damage they did to my truck, then when we tried to stop them Glenn the owner tried to run me and my brother in law over we had to jump a ditch to avoid being hit by the wrecker which Glenn was driving. these guys are criminals straight up.

I bought an 04 f150 on black friday 2013. I noticed the 4 inch crack in the windshield next to the inspection sticker that was put on the previous day immediately and thought oh well il get it fixed... I went to the gas station and went to pump fuel and got out and noticed the engine was rattling like a diesel. so i shut it off to check the oil. It was full. Camshaft phasers are bad. Stalling and sputtering. than noticed the torn seatbelt. And than the rearend yoke was so loose that the driveshaft was vibrating at highway speeds and ready to fall out. And it ruined the pinion seal. I almost got ran over by it when i set the e brake that didnt work in the autozone parking lot. I didnt even make it home yet. Bangor to newport... Than I noticed a rotted bed rail. I have pictures and videos. the truck was towed back to them a week ago and they havnt fixed it yet. now playing phone tag. I have pics and videos. And im starting to get very upset. 11 grand for a piece of junk that barely made it home.

I think it's terrible that a business has the ability to sell unsafe vehicles and endanger lives.. I too purchased a car from there in April 2012' and it have been parked in my drive way since May of 2012' undrivable. I had 2 different mechanics look at the vehicle and what is was going to cost to fix it was more they what it was worth, so in the mean time I am stuck paying $70.00 a week for NOTHING! This business is a joke!

I bought my car from Bumper to Bumper, AKA Bangor Car Care in August of 2011. As soon as we pulled it off the lot 4 dashboard lights lit up on my way home to Fairfield Maine. The traction system service light came on, the service center on the dashboard flashed a warning, "tire pressure low", the airbag light came on. Those are just a few I can remember off the top of my head. The care had 116, 000 miles on it. By the time I got home I strongly felt like I needed to bring the junker back, but I figured they would say, "Sorry you bought it, it's your problem now" So my husband and I looked it over and tried to figure out how we could fix the problems ourselves. Little did I know the more we looked around for what we needed to fix the bigger the problem. Our husband first decided to do an oil change, we had to wait a week til the next pay day. We brought the car home on a Friday and by the following Friday the oil light came on. When I got to work, I was explaining everything to my co workers and one of the girls came out to the car with me and we checked the oil. When we took the dipstick out the oil smelled like gasoline and it looked greenish. When I got it home after work, my husband went to get the things to do an oil change. First the nut to the oil filter was stripped so it made that part difficult to get to, once he finally got the old oil filter off it looked like it hadn't been changed in three years. Once we had the oil filter changed and new oil was in the car didn't get any better. So we figured the spark plugs need to be changed, when we got to the first three in the front of the motor, the old plugs were so corroded, which seemed it was not serviced before being put out on the lot to sell. Then the following week it started to stall every time I would be sitting at a red light while the car was idling as if the battery wasn't staying charged, so we replaced the battery. That didn't seem to fix the problem. The check engine light was still on. Then the abs and traction system service light came on together this time, the airbag light was still on and according to the manual the airbag sensor can not be fixed without taking it to the garage. Which I thought, great just what we need. We just needed a vehicle that didn't have expensive problems to fix, especially when you paying 18% interest to a financial institution who has no idea what kind of vehicle they are financing. Furthermore, the car had a ticking sound in it. So after talking to a mechanic, I was told that he would not sticker my car with the issues it's having, especially the ABS brakes system malfunctioning, and he could even take off the sticker it has on. Matter of fact it should have not been stickered in the first place with all the issues on it. It looks decent on the outside, but underneath is a web of issues. So my husband put our heads together to see what we could do. The stalling issue seemed to be related to the O2 sensor, so we got the part and it took him over 8 hours to get the old part off because it was stripped, of course, and this caused us to miss an important event we were supposed to attend. Of course that was upsetting. Once he got the new part on it didn't stop the stalling issue. So now we are scratching our heads and pretty sure the water pump is the next part but we weren't sure. So I called the service center at bumper to bumper to see what we could have done where I purchased the warranty. I explained everything and that we weren't sure if the water pumped needed to be fixed. The response that I got from the service guy was if it's electrical which it sounded like it was, then my warranty wouldn't cover. I explained that this car started acting up before I got it home from the dealership, and he said that I should have brought it right back. I said, "True but if my warranty didn't cover electrical stuff and the list of things that they gave me that said bring back the vehicle if the usual wear and tear stuff goes wrong within 14 days then I would need to bring it back for them to cover, but the issues was electrical, how would that help. He said I would need to pay out of pocket. So i really didn't feel like I got the help that they promise to give. Not to mention, I don't really think the car would make the drive back up to Bangor from where I live.
So as of now, the car is still getting me back and forth to work so I can pay for the junk of a car, but I can't get it fixed because from what I can tell, the whole thing needs to be rewired. I have to drive it almost like a standard and it's an automatic. When I'm in traffic and at a stop light i have to keep one foot on the break and the other on the gas so it won't stall as I'm going down the road in a slow speed. When it's going at a steady speed the RPM's stay above 1000, but when it's below it will stall. Of course this is a little scary but I have no other choice at this point, I need to get to work everyday. We have a three year old to feed and keep a house over his head. We really could have gone elsewhere, the down payment requirement was ideal in our situation due to the fact we needed a vehicle right away and couldn't wait for us to save more money. Our credit is not the best because we are young and just starting out. The sad part is that I like the make and model of the car and very disappointed of the crap we have gone through.
I forgot to mention that while we were at the dealership waiting to sign the paperwork we had to wait around for two hours with our three year old. While I was with the salesman he had to take a phone call from another customer who was upset. The woman on the other line was upset because she had to bring her vehicle in to get an alternator or starter and her warranty was non existing. Which means the paperwork she signed wasn't submitted like it was supposed to be by the salesman that was working with me and the paperwork. I should have ran then...but I justified that this happens and he was able to fix the issue. I should have listened to my intuition, but the importance of getting to work was over taking my urge to run.
I am not rich, but I do make enough to pay for a vehicle but can not justifying buying a car over 10, 000 because the payment is huge and I want to be able to afford other things. I should have done more research, but whats done is done. The only thing is I can't use the warranty I'm paying for to fix the problems we are having with this vehicle.

Bangor Car Care Lemons- All of them

Where do I begin? They sold us a lemon. First of all, we purchased the vehicle on the 13th and didn't get it until the 21st due to "repair delays." The night we drove it off the lot, my husband notice some things wrong with it the way home. Within the next few weeks, there were several things that started to go wrong. First, the truck felt like it was coming off the fram everytime you stopped. I took it in for repair under the 30 day "safety repair" warranty and the mechanic tried to tell me that it was supposed to feel that way. He had a suburban and it does the same thing. I OWNED two suburbans and one other GMC Sierra and NEVER had that feeling! A bunch of noncense! Secondly, I was researching the extended warranty that I bought with the vehicle and noticed that the fine print stated, "If this vehicle is used for any construction purposes, the warranty is void." So, I called the dealer and asked them about it. They knew my husband was a General Contractor, the ask you when you fill out the application! HELLO! The owner proceeded to tell me to "lie" to the warranty company and tell them that I only used the vehicle for work commute. YaH! So, I can have it fixed under warranty only to find that they won't cover my $1, 500 bill, after the fact. I was not impressed at all and told the owner I would not lie.

So, I cancelled the warranty only to find a few days later that the Service Engine light came on and my mechanic informed me that it was a fuel system problem. Since then, I have already spend over $1500 in repairs just to keep it running and now, it is flashing Service engine and it is stalling out on us. It hasn't even been one year!

Terrible company, terrible service, untrustworthy owner and crooks! 'Nuf said.

Bangor Car Care Sells Uninspectable Cars & they are Rude

I bought a car at Bangor Car Care and paid cash and within 6 hours the ABS/Brake light came on. This was on a Saturday, I called Erica the saleswomen and she said to bring it in on Monday. On Monday I took the car to the Brewer Location and met Scott the Service Manager, He checked the car out and said he need to order a ABS pump and it would take a couple of day. He also told me that I could drive the car until it was fixed. On Thursday of that week I called him back and he set an appointment for the following Monday as the part should be in by then. When I dropped the car off that Monday he said the part that was sent was the wrong one so he woudl have to order another and he would call and set an appointment. I called the end of that week and he set the appointment for the following Tuesday. Now I dorpped my car off that day and the when I went to pick it up Scot told me that the part that came in was cracked. Here we go again. I continued to call and go in for the next 4 weeks. No part and no service so I am angry by now and start to threaten them with a law suit. Scott calls and leaves a message on my answering service saying that I need to stop calling him and he will call me when the part comes in. Now I call the Office Manger who gives me the run around for 3 days and then I demand to talk to Glenn, He is not available (suprise) so I leave several messages for several days on his voice message. He never calls. I had a death in the family so for two weeks I could not deal with this car. I then call them back and suprise Scott no longer works there and they have no record of my van ever being worked on and no part on order. The new sales manager (who is a women) is a very rude person she not only screamed at my husband on the phone, but in person. I went in that next day to personally see Glenn, well his first response is if you are not with teh media or marketing, he did not want to talk to us. Then he started screaming at us and telling us to shut up an dcalled me a "Redheaded B****" moare than once. I simply looked at him and said you are a very rude and dishonest person and shame on you for taking advantage of people. He again screamed "I told you to shut up". They looked at the vehicle and put in a couple of fuses and cleaned the connections and said the car was fixed. What a joke. I would never treat even an angry customer they way we were treated and I hope that no one ever gets that treament again. BANGOR CAR CARE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN TO SAVE THE PUBLIC FROM CRUEL AND ABUSIVE TREATEMENT. HE HAS BEEN IN JAIL ONCE FOR INSPECTION FRAUD, I THINK HE DID NOT LEARN HIS LESSON.

Bangor Car Care they sell unsafe vehicles

so me and shawn got a car on the 13th of this month (july). They sold me JUNK, it was a 99 chrysler cirrus with a 116, 000 miles that was all good GLEN told me that, that was all that i could have cause my financials. so i suck it up and get this car.. when i left the parking lot the car had all kinds of White smoke coming out of the motor... so that is just the start to it... i went to start slowing down and what do i notice wow there is ### old brakes that barley work. so them the car didn't stop very easly.. so we started ideling and the car was shaking to all over the place.. oh i forgot to mention that the car my daughters door didn't open properly.. its pretty ###ing bad when NO garage will take and look at it around here cause they KNOW where it came from... but any ways to get back to my storey. i called them yesterday and told them that the car was a pos and that i wanted my money back and they said this to me " WE ARE NOT WALMART WE DONT DO RETURNS" so i called the state police and they told me that it was just a ###ing civil matter and that i would have to take it to Small claims court. which we all know i dont have that kind of money... so needless to say my friend drove me and my POS LEMON into GLEN and i went into the office and was as nice as i could possibley be... i said look i dont want this i want my money back, and they said that i would have to wait till Glen got back well okay so it was like 5 when i got there i waited till 6 and the stephanie a worker came out and said glen and I just got off the phone he said that you had to leave the keys and car there and he would take up the money matter thing at a later date..and i said ### you i am not leaving here with out my money or my car. so there for i fought with her my mom told her that shes not leaving her car here cause its hers... so then they called the brewer Pd which what ever i dont give two ### ne ways cause the cop that i delt with wilson likes me ne ways... so they came and glen comes pulling in and starts telling them a crock of ###. he starts saying wheres your licence shaina and blah blah and i said it suspended you dumb ###... and then he told wilson that i drove my self in there and that i was trying to drive my self home and the office went along with him but you know what i Said Glen your not getting out of this like you do every thing else. i said for ur information my friend drove me in here and is comeing back to pick me and my car up or me and my money up.. so he was like ### at me. and then he tried telling the cops more lies and then he hopped into his wrecker and put my car on it... so i was telling the cop what happened and what was wrong with my car like my daughters door stuck shut and the brakes suck and the engine gots something wrong with it... then glen asks for my house number so he can talk to shawn so i give it to him and he called shawn and asked shawn what he wanted to do and shawn said that he wanted our money back and that the car was ### and then Glen said to Him OH that is the Valve gaskets gone in the car, and he knew this when he sold it to me...
so ne ways he has the cops write me up a thing stating that i would not come on this property for a year.. but that is okay.. so my lesson today and to tell Bangor Car Care to ### off... and shove it...

so Please who ever reads this Tell everyone that they Know Not to go there.. Cause they will ### you over hard core.

I am ASE cert. tech with 30 yrs experience. I went to Bangor Car Care last fall to purchase a vehicle for my daughter. Needless to say a salesperson there tried to sell me a P.O.S. The car wouldnt even start without a boost! I was told that the 7 year old battery would be fine once the car was driven daily. (Yeah right) Most of the vehices I saw there are of poor quality overall and would not feel safe riding in one! BUYER BEWARE!

My wife went to bangor car care to trade in her 1990 jeep wrangler for a vehicle that fit all of us in it.( we have 4 children and 3 dogs ). So she found a 1999 chevy suburban from them...she was there for 3 hrs doing all this paperwork for this suburban. Meanwhile the sales person was just goofing around playing around with other sales personel. You know real professional huh! After all the paperwork was done my wife wanted to drive the suburban home...They told her that she had to have it towed off the lot or go and get a temp plate for it. They wouldnt put a plate on it because it was a "as, is" thats after they did all the paperwork got there money for ! Luckly my wife didn't sign over the jeep yet. So I called them on the phone and ask why they wouldnt put a plate on it to atleast to get it back to the house. They told me that they told her that they would put a 1 day plate on it to get it home! WHICH WAS A BIG LIE ! I asked my wife why she didnt do that? She told me that all they did was try to put her in a mazda van they had! She didnt want a [censor]ing mazda van! For a vehicle that was "AS, IS" they were going to give my wife 3000 dollars for her jeep and that she had to fiance alittle over 5000 dollars For that 1999 suburban . Only if they would have given her a 14 day plate we would have it right now! Makes you wonder WHATS WRONG WITH IT THAT THEY WOULDNT PUT A PLATE ON IT! Needless to say we still have the jeep! They are [censor]ing rip off artist and they need to be stopped! My wife left there crying and I don't like when people make my wife cry! BCC BEWARE YOU WILL BE SHUT DOWN DUE TO POOR WORK ETHICS! You dont treat people like [censor] because they have poor credit . Its just not right ! I hope that enough people with the same complaint about BCC stand together and get that business "OUT OF BUSINESS" So my advice is "STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM BANGOR CAR CARE" Its not worth putting up with there [censor] to buy there USED [censor]! ITS ALL JUNK ! ...MIke in Wellington

So here we are learning our lesson for the third time around.Buying a vehicle from Bangor Car Care. What a tragic and life sucking mistake!WE have never felt so degrated and humiliated in our lives. We buy a very nice car there in May have no trouble, which is shocking, because when I alone, purchased 2 vehicles 2 yrs apart I got the shaft bigtime.(and not the good kind!)Youd think I would have learned my lesson, but my partner and I needed a new vehicle so together we gave them a chance. So the 2000 Mercury Sable we bought in May was flawless.unfortunately 2 weeks ago we had an accident and the car was totalled.Thank god for full coverage insurance and gap insurance, it paid the car off in full, about 7000.00 We went back to BCC, on 8/17 and pick out a different car, thinking this will be a very smooth transaction.yeah right! We noticed a vehicle that they had purchased from another dealer wholesale, as we had scoped it out a while back.1998 Ford Taurus w/59000 miles, very nice car. We did the paperwork, and drove off with the car, very happy. On Wednesday, the 19th, we get a call, you have to bring the car back! The loan didnt go through. We are like wtf! First off they ran it through a different credit fianance co. instead of the one we were dealing with.Made no sense at all. What they were hiding, was the fact that they couldnt get either fianance co.to loan the amount of money they were charging us for the car, and after finally seeing the contract, I can see no one in there right mind would ever pay that much for a twleve year old vehicle that sold for 20, 000.00 brand new that year. There for, no financial institution would be dumb enough to l;oan that much money for it. The car in its condition was worth 2500.00 private sale, they were charging us 7995.00 plus we "had" to buy the 1500.00 warranty, plus there were almost 1000.00 in unknown fees plus tax and interest.Add that up, over 10grand for this car..! There were fees on the contract we couldnt make heads or tails of. You tell me.Were we getting it without lube? We took the car back, on 8/20 they even took our paper work, and it was obvious they were trying to cover up there crookedness. They didnt offer to get us into a cheaper car, or even house fianance. The girl that took away the paperwork couldnt even look my partner in the face, and sent him out of there walking. What customer service! ###s! How are these ###ing crooks still in business? It sickens me to think of the people Glen and his flunkies rip off everyday. We need to band together and shut this ###er down. One of these days, Mr, Geiser will rub the wrong person, the wrong way, and he is going to get the cockiness knocked out of him.BCC could give a ### less about there customers, and safety, and value.Bunch of sheisters and liars, and they all need to be taught a lesson. So my advice to anyone thinking of buying a car from them...RUN RUN RUN! Your days are numbered BCC, there are victims that wont take your ###, and we certainly arent going to sit back and watch you take advantage of John Q Public. Oh and someone needs to check into their inspection sticker habbits, because many of there junks shouldnt have inspection stickers.Hmmmm, maybe I need to contact the State Police Barracks in Orono. Expect an update soon...Buyer beware! David in Bangor

Bangor Car Care They ripped us off

I bought a car from Bangor car care and in less then 48 hrs it broke down, I called them and to tell that it wouldn't start. they wanted to know if I had AAA and I said no they asked if I could borrow AAA from a friend and I told them no, then she wanted to know if my insurance would cover it, I told her no. then she to me what do you want me to do about it. And mind you I live 2 hrs away, I told them what needed to be fixed and it wasn't done. When the girl talked to me like that on the phone I was very upset and told them that I wasn't paying anymore money and I called my bank to stop payments. I don't think they thought I would do that. With 13 days the front tires were bald. Parisian called me about the payments I tried to tell them what was going on and they just said I wasn't telling the truth. So I told them to come and get the car ----- and this is the short version

The staff at BCC are beyond rude. I have never had such a horrible experience at any business. Glenn will tell a lie straight to your face and smile while he is doing it. They will have you signing paperwork on a car before you even say you want it. They shove paper in your face and ask you to sign, all the while talking and asking questions to try to distract you enough to not actually read the paperwork. Lucky for me I was on to them and didn't make out all that badly. I did find them to be a terribly disorganized bunch of clods. I also found that when they make a mistake, it is always the customers fault.
My experience;
After trying to put me in cars with malfunctioning breaks and clunking engines, I asked them what the deal was with theses cars. I was told nothing, they were safe. ONE CAR I TEST DROVE HAD LITTLE IN THE WAY OF BRAKING POWER! When I finally drove a car that I found to be in reasonable working condition, I showed them my required paperwork. Paperwork was photocopied and filed. I was told I was missing something and needed to bring it in in 48 hours. No big deal. I drove the hour from my house back to BCC the following day. They photocopied my piece of paper and I drove the hour back home.
Fast foreward 1 week. . . . I am at my cousins funeral when I am on my way to the burial I see that I have FOUR missed calls on my cell. It was somebody from BCC. They had called my work twice and me 4 times. I returned the call to see what was so important. Apparently they did not have a piece of paper they needed from me, the SAME paper I had drove a total of 2hrs to give to them a week earlier. The BCC representative on the phone proceeded to DEMAND I drive all the way there to give it to them again, during my cousins funeral in the middle of a nor'easter. I tried to explain the situation, why the drive was not possible today, but could be done tomorrow she began mocking me, saying, "you poor baby" and how my cousins death was not her problem.
I asked to speak to her manager and the manager was totally supportive of her actions! I mean really? It was THEIR MISTAKE to begin with.

Lucky for me I do not have poor credit, nor am I in need of their services. I have learned my lesson. I just feel bad for those less fortunate.

I know someone who works for bangor car care and he told me they buy these cars at auctions for 3oo-1000 dollars and when they buy them they take them back to their "mechanics" if thats what you want to call them. Their people find the issues with them such as blown head gasgets or bad tie rod ends and belts and such then they "fix" them. If it has an oil leak or blown head gasket instead of replacing the seals they poor that cr*p in the engine that you buy at vip and as a hobby mechanic I can tell you that will fix it long enough for them to sell it. Also hears a good one if you have bad tie rod ends you can pump them full of greas this will tighten them up long enough so it makes it off their lot. After they do these half a** fixes they sell them for 5000 and when it breaks they will just give you the "its a used car and things break". At the end of the day dont ever buy a car at bangor car care, and glen is a nut job.

Well let me tell u me and my husband went and trusted bangor car care for a safe and reliable vehicle and we got a PEICE OF [censor]! We have had more problems with this vehicle than i have ever had with one. F irst off my tires went bald after two weeks supposedly new tires' yeah right! My truck was all over the rd. Just getting good not done yet" Than my heater went so now we have no heat. wooooo hooo. On top of all that my universal joint had gone. So all the problems and i called thay told me to bring it to an auto dealer down my way, so thay didnt have to deal with it and to top that thay said that my truck had way to many miles to do any maintance on. My agreement states 100, 000 miles but i guess after they suckered us into buying it thay run the show and the f@#$%^& agreement means [censor]'!

about 4 years ago I financed my first vehicle from them, a 1999 Chevy Blazer. I put $1500.00 down on it, took a test drive and loved it, everything was working fine! I was excited, I finally had a nice vehicle! I had my boyfriend and my 5 month old daughter in the car with me when I left. We went out to eat then started off on out two hour ride to Machias. We took route 9 and a hour into the ride I switched with my boyfriend and drove. It was late around 7pm and winter time. I drove for 10 minutes and started hearing a LOUD thumping noise under my truck that just seemed to get worse with time. It ended up getting so bad we pulled over and had to drive it with our 4 ways on all the way to Wesley about 45minute ride, on the side of the road until I got service on my cell. We found a garage and some men were in there and they came out and said it sounded like our wheel bearings! I called them and the girl asked if I could have it towed back to bangor and they would pay me back, I told them I couldnt because I had just given them all my money two hors ago and didnt have the money to have it towed to them two hours away. I was crying and really upset, I was stranded in the middle of nowhere with my boyfriend and 5 month old two hours after I got the truck! I ended up having to leave the truck there, they came and got it and fixed it and had to have a friend come get us! To make matters worse a couple years later my boyfriend got a dodge neon there and the transmission started to go a few months later, so he had them come get it and I have never delt with them since! anyone thinking about it should really think twice!

My son bought a car from them also. I did some math and found that it should be paid off in the end of Sept. instead they inform me today that the loan still has 39 weeks. I know that I am slow on some things but math I always got A+ in. So I recalulated my loan to what they said. I find that they charged 18% interest on the loan plus 18%/day on the loan to a total of 36%. My kid is graduating from high school this year and he is getting screwed.
Also Glenn took it on his own to repo a car that was not up for repo. I know of another customer that moved here to maine. He left his other vehicle parked on the side street on Bangor where the old dealer was. He was working on refinancing the car with another company and had bought another from Glen. He told Glen it may go into repo if it did not get refinanced. He went to get the vehicle a couple days later and it was gone. Nobody knew where it was accourding to Bangor Car Care. guess what Glenn had towed and placed it into the garage in Brewer and claimed no knowledge. Well a state investigator found it for this person, somehow Glenn sneaked throught the cracks on that one also. Who knows maybe someones pocket is getting greased at other levels. Otherwise how can such a crook and thief stay in business. Plus how could the state let Persian come and to dealings here as well. Someone needs to stop these people and put them out of business. Isnt there any justice anymore or just crooks.

my son purchased a car from bangor car care, they took his truck, and a 350.00 deposit and then came and picked up the car 3 weeks later saying his loan wasn't approved. He has a pro bono attorney on the case, but he isn't doing anything about it because he isn't getting paid to help my son and he can't afford an attorney, so he's basically out $1000.00. I think this company should be put out of business for good! They seem to be preying on people who are down on their luck.

Bangor car care tried to force us into buying a car! We were looking at a car and it had just been brought in from an auction. So we put down a little bit of cash to hold it until it was looked at and inspected. We'll they had us sign some "manditory" paper work that went with the hold. So we left thought we had just found a good vehicle. Went back the following monday to try out the vehicle. It was leaking in the front end, the brakes sqeeked, and the tires were bulging. They told us the tires were new, ya right. So we went in after the test drive to tell them what we found and they wouldnt even talk to us. Soo we went to another car dealer. We went back to tell them that we didnt want the car any more and they got in our face and told us we had to buy the car and that the money we put down to hold the car was the down payment. On the recepit it says HOLD! But thank goodness for the dealer we ended up doing business through. They got on the phone and told bangor car care what they were doing was wrong. By the way when we were in the other dealers office we saw people test driving the vehicle that we supposibly bought. So right then and there we told them, to shove the car and that we weren't going to to bussiness through them. DONT GO THROUGH BANGOR CAR CARE! try LEE AUTO, there amazing and i would reccomend them to anyone!

Bangor Car Care, is a total rip off. They have been ran out of Bangor and they are gonna get ran out of Brewer eventually, just time is all its gonna take. They sell unsafe vehicles, we bought one from them and went back five hour laters to return it and Glenn said No we arent walmart we dont do returns. He then got in my face and said get out and dont come back. Supposedly, Lewiston closed and got ran off with junk vehicles. DONT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE RIP OFF ARTISTS.

My boy friend got a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue In April of 2009 within days of getting this car it wouldn't start he called Bangor Car Care to get the car serviced left a number of messages on the serviced department answering machine . No one returned his calls . So he called the operations department finally they got SCOTT the service manager on the line he clearly stated that it wasn't their issue . He got a garage to finally look at this vehicle with their "WONDERFUL WARRANTY" took him two days to find someone that would take it because it a pain in the a**. The garage found it needed tire rod ends, control arm bushing, and a power steering rack, and yet they couldn't fix the starting issue some ### directly wired the battery to the computer. Again he called Bangor Car Care to report this issue again his calls was unanswered . He e-mailed GLENN he finally got back to him two days later just for Mr.GREISER, to tell him there was nothing he could do about it a year later Hello ### this had been reported a few days of buying the car! Since this issue we went on line that car has had a total of 82 factory recalls. We have reported this company to the local BBB also the Attorney General we are looking into a lawyer right now . There was a lot of [censored] on the buyers contract that just don't seem legal to us like the car came from MID-STATE MOTORS INC WA Ruthless Rd Anywhere USA 12345 .
