Paid for an item online from bh and received a used / broken item. (r/c helicopter) paid shipping fees again, to send it back. They put a new body on the broken item and sent it to me missing the rechargeable battery pac. Days later I received the bat pac and the broken heli, so I shipped all of it back to banana hobby, paying shipping for the third time, by no fault of mine. Total cost of item and shipping, ($146.39). It is next to impossible to contact these people. And if you complain to much they hang up on you, or put you on hold and never come back... This expense is long distance at no concern to them.$very frustrating and dissapointing.

I bought a Razor 200 from Banana Hobby just last month! I was very happy to have received it! I been around models most of my life, plus I was a plane captain for the USN in the early 70's with a Helicopter squadron! Yes, I expected to crash and Banana said that all parts are available! They'ed lied to me! I would like to send it back for repairs and Banana said that it would be cheaper to buy another Razor 200 and use the first one for parts! But both Razor's the green one and the red one are out of stock! All I need is parts for above the swashplate, which is not listed on the parts list of the manual! I was very successful on the maiden flight and was highly impressed with the way it handle! I'm very disappointed with Banana !

i was dumb not to look at forums for reviews of bananahobby.com. I ordered the Golden Contra which i thought was a catch. I even ordered 2 extra canopies to be sure I don't crack the original one. The 2 canopies never came, then to make things worse, there was a long crackline along the face of the canopy. Well I thought that will not hinder my flying, but when I set up the heli and tried to throttle up, I only heard sounds and no movements to the blades. I immediately wrote an email to them followed by a call... I didnt receive any return emails, neither did I get to anyone on the phone... For no good reason, I have lost USD450 because I added additional items. This vendor, I will blacklist and in future before buying, I will check the reviews for these shops...

Hello guys! the bananhobby.com is horror ! I was stupid to buy from them:)! I ordered ART-TECH Eagle Eey helicopter with camera http://www.bananahobby.com/1534.html and after I receive it I immediately went in to the problems! when I open it the helicopter looks like it was already in use! scratched paint is some place plastic broke, all canopy is dirty... so I was thinking ok never mind lets try to fly:))! I charge the battery put it in, starting up and at first it fly good enough for me, but this was not enough just to fly:)! this helicopter is with wireless camera and you can get picture on your pc and record or even on tv...so I install the software connected that wireless audio/video transmitter connect the battery and after some moment was ready to grab my rc controller and helicopter jump by it self! that was horror guys:)! it fly just for the moment, went down but the rotor still on! I try to stop the motor by remote control no reaction:)! the rotor gets my laptop power cord and wrap it:)! there was smoke, smell!I was able to disconnect battery even that connection was hot! At first I can''t understand what happen:)! but just after couple minutes wait a minute:))! this is 72Mghz helicopter:))! I was thinking that I bought 2.4ghz helicopter as they shows on the web page:)! but I receive 72Mghz and everybody know that 72 Mghz is't safe at all because id somebody around you in the range of up to 700 yards have the same frequency any toy it could interference! that is what happen to me! and remember guys I was buying 2.4ghz because I know that is safe and with rc helicopter better be very careful because those spinning rotors can heart you pretty serious even kill! And you know what guys:)? the bananahobby don't want to hear anything about refund:)! there is the girl her name is Mary who is very rude an when I'm asking did you send the right helicopter she answers like parrot all the time the same: YOU DID NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS, WE WON'T REFUND! this is true horror guys:)! NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS VENDOR THEY ARE SCAMERS 100%! the FBI should investigate them immediately! I will suit them for sure! DJ

Banana Hobby is the worst company I have EVER dealt with. Do not buy from them - period. I have been trying for over a month to get an order shipped that I have paid for by credit card.

They shipped the wrong model to begin with, and have done everything e3xcept ship me the right model. This includes long holds, lying about shipping dates, busy phone, unanswerred emails, even including setting up ups tags that never get picked up. I had to return the misshipped plane before they would entertain replacing it, now they have my money and airplane - I am a 70 year old retired businessman and these guys are the worst.

I purchased an RC plane from them several weeks ago. When I received the UPS shipping information from Banana Hobby it indicated a specific delivery date, when the package didn't show up I called UPS and gave them the tracking number. UPS told me they were notified of a pending delivery but the package was never given to them to deliver.

Every time I try to call Banana Hobby customer service all I get is a busy signal.

My advise is to not buy anything from them.`
