Bambu Rain / Scam

1 Mexico Review updated:
Contact information:

This company's owners have a well-documented criminal and scamming history in Canada and Mexico. They have impersonated doctors and CEO's and also have deep connections in Mexico's drug trafficking that has kept them out of jail even tho there are multiple arrest warrants for them in different countries. This time they have a created an investment program that promises money returns out of 20, 000 acres of bamboo plantation in 4 years but there are less than 50 acres of bamboo planted and most plants are only a test experiment they planted.
This is the modus operandi of this people for the past 30 years, they have lied and constantly changed their "business model" and promising bigger, better things to keep attracting clients that don't know their past history and are helpless once they realize nothing is being done with their money. Be advised, any money you put in this program is lost money and if you have shares you will go down in jail eventually along with the trash people that run this lie.

This company was also known as Landbankers 101, Sierra Madre Holdings etc, etc. They sold shares in land and also stated they would be on the Mexican Bolsa trading company shares. They have been charged in Canada with Securities violations and found guilty but will never pay the fine nor re-enter Canada to be held accountable. Brian Wolf is also wanted on a warrant. When purchasing these land shares people were told they could have their money back "at any time, upon request". This has never happened, except to a few people with minor funds invested. They continually state the land has to be sold. They don't own the land, they never did. This was a scam, and so is this newest plan to sell bamboo. Beware

So true...it is all a scam. Recently I was told that the bamboo will be sold in December, and from that sale people involved in share of the landbanking "investment" will get paid. Doesn't that sound wonderful???? However, what about the people that invested in the bamboo scam? One person that is/was involved in the land banking scam, and was the CEO at one time, Alan Hemingway has returned to Canada. He thinks he is untouchable, and returned to Comox, BC. However, he is apparently wanted in Mexico on tax fraud, and other charges so it is hard to know where he thinks he is the safest. All of the people involved are/were scam artists, they have managed t get away with this for far too long.

This is a legitamate business. I am proud to work for this company. We give jobs to farmers that need them and the land is used for bamboo which can grow quickly. All money has been returned to investors from our other companies, you can ask around and you will be told this is the truth. If there is anyone that has not been refunded please contact me and I will help to get all money returned. we have worldwide investers and partners and they would not be with us if we had money owed to people when we had other companys. @Complainant00219 Money has not been returned to investors from your other companies...this is a lie. I am one of the investors and I have been asking for my funds since 2008 and nothing. I was even threatened that if I went on social media about it, it would "slow down" the process of my "settlement"...they do not answer any e-mails

@Mexico123 Why do not they want to give you back the money? Is it your fault or theirs? What business was to be, and why are you the only one here? There are more cheated people?

Buyer beware. This company's newest scam is called Bambulinks Modern Farmer Club. Same story as always. Bambu Rain clients are told that the program is not going to work because something "better" is coming. Pure [censored]. The only difference is that this time they really outdid themselves, their new scam makes no sense. Desperation much?

They claim they have to sell land...land that is not theirs to sell. The contract states that funds would be returned upon request, this is not happening to thousands of investors. I am not the only one here, there are many that are frustrated and looking at lawsuits. They change their company name almost annually so they are harder and harder to locate. Beware, your money will be gone.

@Mexico007 They have bamboo, but they are no longer involved in that business. If you go to their webpage bamburain.com it no longer talks about investing in bamboo, now they want to sell you tea and they are also trying to sell crypto currency http://www.mexlunacoin.com/ Stay away from this business at all cost.
