There are lots of pervert guys on the site, spamming all the women all day and trying to get sex
Worst dating website ever. The only good thing is (at least for switzerland), that there are quite a lot of people on it. But it is a huge rip-off anyway. First of all they send out emails to the people in your address book without your consent. Second, as a male person, you can only write to 10 new girls per day, and also only 2 messages per person unless they reply. If you want more, you have to pay. Also, you can't send messages to someone who is above or below your age group. Third, Badoo deleted almost all photos where I was not with a picture on it. Like holiday pictures etc.. or pictures where I'm with my gf. You need to have 3 pictures with your face, otherwise you cant see anyone else's pictures. If you have no picture at all, you can't even send any messages. There are lots of pervert guys on the site, spamming all the women all day and trying to get sex. Most women are pissed of by that, and so they usually don't answer any hello. you need to be quite creative in your messages. and even then, mostly they will not even read your message because they are already flooded with other messages. Oh, and also, some girls that get many profile views and messages, have some kind of hot-flag on their profile, and you can not send them any message until you pay for the premium service.
Stolen photo, personal information and offensive things
I have my personal information in this site and picture that I did not post. I never joined this dating website. There must be a way to delete this profile another person had created. I do not like my details being shown in a website that also includes offensive comments. If costumer support team can help me with this issue. I would greatly appreciate it.

I've never even heard of Badoo until today. Certainly not signed up with them. Facebook this morning then informs me that, I had sent a link to Badoo to all my Facebook contacts! I managed to remove the posts, but I'd like to know how Badoo managed to do this, and how do I stop it happening again?

I have been asking this company for the last 2 years to delete this (badoo acoount), which by the way, was never created by me, it also contains some offensive stuff!
Sent them 4 emails, they will reply that the process will take several months.
They must be for sure, a big bunch of idiots! And they also know! Can you believe this?

Cyber crime identity theft false profiles scam
In my case, as in many other cases listed here exposing Badoo criminal conduct, I wish to add another complaint about Badoo's criminal activities and appeal to this site, all social sites, all cyber crime squads, and especially FBI Internet Crime Squad to instigate the largest ever investigation into all Badoo activities, files, hardware and software, Badoo owner's PC, files, and history, for the benefit of all decent cyber citizens and prevention of sophisticated cyber crime! Badoo engages in criminal ctivity, refuses to cooperate in investigating criminal activities of its staff or users, particularly a very strong trend of creating identity doubles - stealing identities of innocent people from wherever they can fish them in cyber space (i.e. email accounts, free email clients, professional directories and lists) and then creating false profiles ruining lives and reputations of innocent people. Badoo is aware of serious privacy and identity breaches and abuse but Badoo does NOT care because that is how it misleads media to print that Badoo has millions of users, possibly half of which are people whose identities were stolen and who complained in vain. This is big money, bad money, based on lies to attract sponsors, advertisers, and even win awards! This is crime at its best and it must be stopped.
Yep. They are even using celebrated authors like Paul Lisicky who is known to be gay, however, he claims to be straight and fallen in love with me (I'm a woman). I quit hearing from him once I told him I had a very protective family. His email was paul.lisicky@yahoo.com. I went to Lisicky's website and got a different email address. I thought I would give it a shot and let him know that someone is using his identity and pictures.
Fake profiles
I was lured into this website when I was redirected to a set of personals apps as I was downloading apps I had on my old Android phone, having just upgraded to this new HTC Android cell phone. I became suspicious after logging in, when people were either older battle scarred veterans, or all the good looking girls looked like 18 year olds or younger, all were looking for men 40 y.o. or older, ALL described themselves as very optimistic, grounded, do gooders, seeking a good life with a good man for a lifelong commitment, yada yada... 2 of them started texting with me, I'm not big into texting, so I asked one claiming to be from New York, NY, if I could call "her", since I had a cell plan offering unlimited NATIONWIDE calling. "She" initially wanted to switch to Yahoo Messinger, which I had not yet installed, then offered me a 12-15 digit phone #, {{+[protected] that is my number}} which I questioned and "she" said it was in Ghanna, Africa. Then I asked if she was in fact the 30 yr old woman I was seeing on that particular web site, "she" said that profile was one that was already there when she logged in. "She" was probably some African guy texting a good dozen other respondants simultaneously from an easy 100 fake profiles, which explains why it took so long to reply with 2-5 word responses while we were texting.
The other woman that responded to me was "Cynthia", a 33 y.o. nurse from Chicago, when I tried calling her using the phone number I was texting to, someone immediately hung up after the call was answered and the "Cynthia profile" was deleted but the pictures of "Cynthia" reappeared the next day under a new name, therefore if the owner of the website is not directly involved, this site has been hijacked by many BAD PEOPLE! LIKE SOMEONE ELSE SAID, AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Searching myself to find things like this I stumbled across this badoo account with my picture. I've never heard of badoo until today and I am very unpleased to find my personal information on a google search like that. I want it taken down and deleted immediately.
Tried to sign in to Badoo.com for months but kept asking to update the city. Tried to select the city from the provided list but just kept prompting is Incorrect city. How to bypass this? It is very frustrating.

When you join this website it sends stuff to people in your address book saying you have a message for them when in reality you don't. I would advise if anyone gets something that says they have a message from someone they know from this site to avoid it because of my experiance with it.

The exact same thing just happened to me! I am glad my hubby is understanding, but if HE would have had that email and I saw it there would have been Hell to pay! Totally a SCAM site and they somehow get your full name, etc. Scary. I don't even have a FB account.

Today i got a message from someone saying they had sent me a message, i decided to look and thought "Im sure its improved by now" ... I couldnt of been more wrong. You are forced to have 3 photos of your face and ONLY YOUR FACE on your account. If not your photos are either deleted or moved into different albums.
I am a male, and i put a photo up of me and the mrs, and they said and i quote "people will not be able to work out which one is you" ... This is where i drawed the line ... So im not allowed to show all the desperate tossers that im engaged? Worst website ever, avoid like the plague!

When I tried to add him on Facebook by typing John Gerard Neary and Kuala Lumpur, I found him. But when I told him I wanted to add him, he then changed his username as 'Sean O Nearaigh'. Even so, his hyperlink couldn't be changed. (www.facebook.com/john.gerard.2013) In his profile, I found he is married and also found his family pictures with his wife and daughter on his wife's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/lourdes.evasco)
I was shocked when reading this as he stated he is single with no kid on Badoo.com where I met him and share Skype accounts (IDs: segoshaguy, John.gn & John.neary1)
He first denied and confessed this morning to me that and asked me not to bother him and don't want to hear from me. He even said he used to sleep with lots of women that he met on Badoo behind his wife. I said, Jerk and ###, ###, you should had better f*** off. I also reported to Badoo about his misbehavior but still his account was not terminated yet.
I'm kind of bad luck of meeting this jerk, What the f*** of this guy!

Fake profile
My details are on badoo and I did not put them there! I have never joined this site and I cant log in to delete the fake profile and they are not responding to my mails to get this problem sorted. Surely this is against some sort or law or something! I do not like my details being online like this when I had nothing to do with it. It even states that I was last online on 1st oct and I have not been. These are total lies!
Please can someone else help me with this as I am getting more stressed and pi*sed by the minute. I am in a great relationship and I dont need my boyfriend thinking I have joined a site like badoo.

I receive emails constantly from Badoo, I have no interest in their service so I click on the unsubscribe button but it doesn't do anything they continue to send unwanted emails, and in order for me to tell them to stop sending them they ask that I verify the account, verify what? I did not create one in the first place, and they won't stop harassing until I give them personal information and a photo? This needs to be reported. If someone doesn't want your emails, you don't have the right to ask for personal information so as to comply to their wishes. Everyone has the right to privacy and to opt out of that which they do not want! The email in question is biglebowski2017@tutanota.com . Please put an end to this. I'm sick of it.

Someone stole my photos and created a fake profile on Badoo! This fictional girl is half my age and lives in the same city. She is saying to guys she wants to go to a hotel with them. I don't want random guys to walk up to me in my own city (not a big one) thinking I'm this fictional girl who wants to bed anything with a heartbeat. I'm highly disturbed!

Using my information without permission
Yesterday I was informed by my boyfriend that I was on a dating site called baddoo. To say I am livid is an understatement as I have never given any information to this site and obviously this has caused my boyfriend to break up with me and I cant even begin to think of the defamatin and how this could affect my job seen as I am a senior account executive.
I have tried to find somewhere to complain but there site says that I have to register to complain which is ridiculous as I certainly dont want them gettin hold of any further personal details. They list my name, age and town and considering my name its not difficult to work out its me! im furious and want to know how I can find out how they got my details and how to get them removed!

When you read the the info about membership the quote of fees in "nothing, nada, diddly squat" it gets not clearer than that... Should be nothing right? Well, the only authorized charged I ever gave them was to bump me up to be seen and they do show you the 12.49 charge and give you points. I never authorized any more after that! My cc bill was 191.00 in one month! Just called my cc company to dispute this and deleted my profile. I also want to warn all of you of some weird things that happened on my computer since joining. I had many viruses and had to get it serviced and that cost 200.00 just other day and the technician told me that site like badoo and facebook are causing computers to become zombies. He told me he has never see so many worms and viruses on one computer and that I was lucky I brought it in when I did. I was on my fb and I noticed yesterday a comment by me stated that "I was so happy that I was a tester for an I pad and got my free one just this morning and telling my friends they needed to do this". Thank god I saw this, deleted it and told my friends I did not post that statement. Most of my friends knew I didn't. I believe all these problems began with signing in with badoo... So beware stay away!
Horrible site
I just searched myself via google, and was shocked to find that badoo.com has me listed as "free online dating girl..." and then my name. This is slander, defamation of character, and needs to be addressed immediately. It can hurt my business reputation, can prevent me from being hired, and needs to be eliminated.
Mainly scammers I'm afraid if you stick to the free elements of the site.
I can't opt out of emails from Badoo unless I'm at a computer and if I want to completely shut down my account, I have to be at a computer. I feel like I am being harassed by Badoo because I get dozens of emails a day from them. This is terrible business practices!

Badoo is complete trash and borderline criminal business model. It EXPLOITS average users general social networking habits of accepting application linking, the high majority of which are COMPLETELY unaware that they're suddenly giving Badoo permission to HIJACK the users FB account for their own underhanded marketing schemes. No. That was not said as an over-exaggeration to prove a point. That is 'exactly' what it does, period. The entire Badoo website screams of needy/greedy call-to-action buttons, push-marketing techniques and strong, over-dramatic comments.

Seriously? I can understand someone at Badoo may have thought they were being witty or creative. Making the website sound like... you're breaking up with it(?) when you delete your account. It's a great way to make the end user feel bad too! I'd like to say they won't be seeing ANY returning customers with manipulative garbage content copyrighting like that, but they will. Because they prey on peoples emotions and insecurities (the biggest things people who join sites like Badoo already feel to begin with).
Badoo. If you want a decent platform, build it on a decent and respectable business model. Right now you are a failing, begging trash of a site. To make it even worse, you're letting that show shamelessly.
I consider Badoo like a virus that uses your data to engage in a very questionable activities.
For example: Badoo SPAMS all your address book with "Message From you", they don't include the message but they do include your name so your friends are let to do 2 clicks to see the message but instead it automatically signs them in Badoo (using the data in your own account). They have in gray and little letters "by clicking this button you agree on our terms and condition". Signing to a site should be a CLEAR work flow of sharing your own data by typing your name, last name, user name, password etc so that it's CLEAR the intention of the user to sign up for their services. What they do is a TRAP (similar to the old "I love you" email message), to me they should be sued for such behavior but whatever. For us working in Enterprise we just put their own entire domain in our anti-spam (all their Emails are automatically dropped) and we filter their domain from our proxy so that users can't view anything related to Badoo. If you are a private user just open a new Email Account, Alert all your friends to remove their account from Badoo and that should fix it. Hopefully anti-virus will get smarter and filter out automatically those virus sites.
To AVOID at all costs as the majority of the people have realized.

This is the Badoo Customer Support Team, we can confirm that it's not compulsory to be added to Google and a user can opt out at any time via their Profile Settings. You will notice an option to 'Show real name to visitors from third-party search engines', if you click No you won't appear, alternatively if you don't include your surname users will be unable to locate you in Google. If you previously were included in Google this can take between 4-8 weeks for your information to be removed.

I got a email from badoo website and it says that I had a message from this lady I knew. But to read the message, I had to subscribe to the site, wich I did thinking that it was a similar site like facebook. Well almost 8 months later I get a phone call at work from my husband saying that I was on the dating website and looking for a man between the age of 31 to 45 and that I was on that website last month... Not true! I was lucky enought to delete my account with them and find some other complaints with this website to corrobarate my story... Unbeleivable!

We have a feature that enables users to find their friends on Badoo by importing existing contacts from their email accounts. Invitations to your friends are sent only if you share your address book on Badoo and send invitations to friends who haven’t yet joined Badoo.
When importing your contacts, you can always choose to uncheck any contacts who you do not want to invite or add to your friends on Badoo. Badoo only sends out invitation emails to selected contacts if the user gives permission for it.

Anyone thinking of paying for extra services such as “super powers” on the dating site Badoo…DON’T! I have paid and recieved nothing. I have sent numerous emails to the site and recieved no reply!

Fraudulent account acquisition
I would strongly recommend to avoid Badoo like the proverbial plague. I was “left a message” by someone I know, and when I contacted them it emerged they had not written a message at all. Instead, it appears a Badoo Facebook app had started walking through their address book.
I haven’t got all of it confirmed yet (it’s hard to trace back everything that happened with non-technical people), but it is a fact that I was told a lie by Badoo, which was made credible by theft of contact details.

Badoo is a haven for scammers. 99% of the women are from Ghana and you can tell the website does not have any type of filtering system to show IP address correspond to where members are really from. The girls are not shy as they will tell you, the majority of them that they are from Ghana or some other country in Africa. Gimme a break when do you see babes that need a date? This is supposedly a dating site though most of the women claim they have no cam so you cannot verify photo with chatter, dead giveaway! This site is probably run by some pot bellied 40 year old guy sitting in his mother's basement. Do not give your information to anyone or anything on this site.

I am extremely disappointed in the social network website sad to say but there seems to be some on this website with FALSE IDENTITIES! I actually sent to you a few men on this site and using the same type of story and ALL CLAIMING TO WORK IN NIGERA! I never got a reply from Badoo about this?
Seems some of these men-
1. Use false picture's probably hacking images online to use
2. They claim to live somewhere in the US when listing on Badoo.
3. Some even claim they are widowed-a trend of a few men
4. Several when you chat claim to have been living in the UK and only reside in the US for work, but then claim they now work in Nigeria
5. Those whom supposivley claim either US or initially UK can't even use proper grammar relating to the English language. It is one thing for a person to be honest of their origin and not having command of English and try too sure understable but to lie well sad!
6. They all seem to chat with you and then want to have you send them your email because they claim the Badoo
site chat lags too much, which I never have a problem with.
It is one thing to be upfront stating where you reside via even Nigeria but all of these men use a similar story line as if following some sort of script as stated above give or take.
Badoo seems to have no security in regards to checking and making sure people email's when
they make an account on Badoo are truly theirs which you could have a search engine to see if their IP ADDRESS is VALID!

They Replied saying it may take up to 1 or 2 months to delete all my information. I find this quite daunting and ridiculous since anyone can delete, with technology today in a nano second! Unless Badoo has many complaints that they can't seem to keep up with!

Under the disguise of answering questions about your friends, the Badoo Facebook application takes advantage of access to your personal information and creates a public dating profile without your knowledge. To make it look as if it was a genuine account they even make choices for you by specifying various criteria that you are looking for in a date. So, you end up receiving dating requests from all sort of freaks although you are not looking for any dates, whatsoever. Okay, so far so good, you can ignore those and treat them like spam in your inbox.
But, what do you explain to your friends when they search for your name in Google and they see that according to this profile, you are open for dating, but at the same time have a successful marriage with 3 children? What about the husband himself? Well, it gets even dirtier than this.
Next, try to clean your public image and delete the profile: surprise, it doesn't work since you are not the one who created it in the first place, it was the Facebook application that created it and their system is configured in such a way that only those who personally created a profile are allowed to delete it. Since you never personally created the dating account you are out of luck.
Next logical thing is to file a complaint with their support department to have the account deleted at their end. Do they respond? Nope.
And here is how they artificially boost their membership base to trick their potential legitimate users that they become members into a large dating site.
I think this application should be banned from Facebook as it uses way too dirty methods taking advantage of the access that they get to Facebook users personal data.

Our Facebook App is basically a question&answer game where users can answer questions about
their friends; players then have the opportunity to post a link to their friend's wall to encourage them
to view the answer and try the application.
The reason why you could not see the answer at first is probably related to the fact that you have to
answer questions as well before being able to view what your friends said about you.
Furthermore, the only way Badoo's Facebook App can collect information from users, in order for it to work, is when granting access upon the install;
you can revoke this grant anytime from your Facebook Privacy Settings page.

Very unhelpful company
Hi signed up for badoo a while back and have recently found the time to get nore involved with it...Accept I have now forgotten my password and have several times been through all the correct procedure of retrieving it and when I check my mail the password does not arrive (yes I also checked junkmail). I have sent at lease 8 separate message to the so called help facility asking for assistance with this and I still have not had an answer from this company. I would expect that with the growing competition of these social network services the level of service would be a little more acceptable. I cannot just open another account either as I have some valuable contact info on that particular profile as well as the fact that I do not wish to use another e-mail address except my own.

I can't make a new account because my email is in use but I cannot get any emails to reset my password and get on to my account.
Badoo continues to charge me. There is no subscription of badoo under my Google play account. They are ghost charging me. It's been going on at least 3 years now. It's 19.99 a month so it hasn't been high on my radar but I unsubscribed years ago that's why it's not on my Google play account anymore. I want every penny back!
