Award Notification Commission [ANC] monetary award

Official looking documents indicating had won $over $1M, just needed
to verify information, indicate how I wanted to receive the money and send back the form.

No company indicated, no info on how the prize was won, only wanted
to make sure the info was correct and send back with payment so money
could be disbursed.

Too many things that stand out as not a legitimate operation.
Am sure that a lot of people mistake this for a different organization that
awards prizes all the time.

How terrible to build up peoples hopes and bilk them out of money.

Award Notification Commission [ANC] award winning scam

why you should know this is a scam?
-there is no deadline date, no exact date on it what so ever, only year and "reply requested within: 7 days" from what date?
-no tax, no commissions, no type of award, you don't know what you are winning from.
-and purchase? what can you purchase from "JUDGES"?
don't use your hard earned money on these stupid scams! don't ever think that you can take advantage on s.o's mistake, you know the result!

Award Notification Commission [ANC] unethical behavior

On Mar.22 I received a letter syating I had won 1, 325, 000. for option A or 2, 00, 000. for option B. It looked to good to be true so I did some research and found it is a scam and did not send any money, they are asking for 12.99. This needs to stop as there are a lot of older people who will fall for this, and am filling a complaint to see this comes to a end.

Award Notification Commission [ANC] award notification letter

I received the same letter as everyone else. However, the only payment I saw was optional for a premium service. It was in the amount of $11.89 with an additional $3.00 for processing, a total of $14.89.

But, again, it was only if you desired the premium service they were offering in conjunction with the award letter. It clearly states at the top of the page for affixing the identification label that no purchase is necessary. It also states this on the page the label is first affixed to prior to moving it.

So, I'm not really sure what all the fuss is about.

Award Notification Commission [ANC] scam letter/award notification

Received letter in the mail today, "Official Form of Tender No: 13570" stating that I "Have just won $1, 325, 000." Upon reading further, it also states that "An acquisition FEE for Premium Offer is due and must be enclosed as required for $12.99 payable to the office of ANC."

It's a bunch of bologna. If I won something, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have to PAY for it...Why aren't these folks out of business or shut down?

Award Notification Commission [ANC] judge's statement and validation of award

I received this letter today stating that if I mailed in the Certified Award letter along with $11.89 I would be eligible to with a lump sum of $1, 325, 000.00 or a 30-year annuity for the total amount of $2, 000, 000.00. I don't understand why they would require me to pay them to be able to win. This states that I must respond via mail with a check, cash or money order for $11.89 made out to ANC.

I really wish I would have looked into this earlier. I sent the $12.99 for processing twice...yes twice. I didn't start to think of anything as far as a scam until ANC sent the third step twice and then a finalization letter asking for $23.99 with a different name as the Award Director. This was indeed a bought lesson.

It's certainly amazing that so many of us rec'd the SAME notification, advising that we all have the same Winning # & have won the same Amt. of Prize $$! However, the only person walking away with a bundle of $$ will be the supposed Commissioner of Judging ----- if enough naive people send in the $12.99 Acquisition Fee required for Delivery of your Winnings!
The first obvious clue that it is a scam is - if you didn't enter a Contest, you probably should be aware that there is no reason you would win anything!

Someone hurting for money will easily fall for this scam. If this is not a reputable sweep stake organization don't believe it. Notice there is no 1800 number for you to call.
Remember if half of the population in California paid $12.99 to those crooks they would leave our country go to Nigeria and live like kings.

Award Notification Commission [ANC] congratulations, you have just won $1,325,000

Don't fall for this scam! I received an "awards notification" today, indicating that I need to send $11.89 payable to awards notification center (Larry hourd, "executor of awards") to become eligible to win this huge jackpot. Yeah, right, larry... I googled awards notification center and found this site to file a complaint. If you receive a notification from them, be sure to file a complaint.

Award Notification Commission [ANC] scam letter

Received letter stating that I won a very large amount of money. I've never applied for any of these and used to work in a career that warned many naïve and elderly people not to get tricked by these. This is an obvious scam and annoying to receive knowing that many others out there are falling for it and could have very dire consequences with inability to fix. Beware! Take scams like these to your trusted bank or a bank you are a member of and ask for them to go over it with you to be safe. You can win prizes and money, if you are signing up for them, so if you are not sure, please speak with someone before giving in!

I have received a ANC Awards Notification Commission letter and decided to Goggle this web-site and found the complaint section that spoke of this letter. In the letter it stated I had won over $2, 000, 000, .00 cash. Why would someone want to send me this type of money and have the Gaul to ask for $11.89. Reading all the complaints and I suddenly remember I got something like this years ago and totally forgotten about it because there was no further communications. I sent the letters back as instructed and asked them to take the $11.89 out of the 2-million and send me the rest. I made a copy of the document and took it to the Post Office General to take action against this fraud mailings out to working class people who do not understand the implications of this type of mailings. If they are curtaining the regulations in mailing out of this type, the Post-Office General will keep them honest enough to ensure the reading of such mail does not state you have won these funds.

It is a SCAM! How surprising.
I would add my name to the law suit should they prosecute this worm.

I also received almost every single one of the examples saying that I want all this money and it is a shame because I'm a single mother with a special needs son our United States service dog and I am living in a rental car until they take this from me because of an accident that was due to the wet ground. This is absolutely appalling to me and I was already scammed out of $1, 800 through signing up to be a mystery shopper. Even though I am an honest person with integrity and my bank and screwed up and accidentally put more money in my account and it was a cash transaction I could have kept the money which was $300 which I could have really used but I returned it and then when they were fault for issuing me money and under than 24 hours they refused to take responsibility and take their loss the same way I was honest with them which I find very unfair and I'm still trying to fight this after that happened the same company or people from another country sent me additional 6 checks to three other cities so I turned everything over to the Rowley Police Department after contacting both the FBI and Secret Service which were no help at all and when they're supposed to protect American citizens from people from islands and other countries who are robbing and scamming us they're not doing a very good job now because they sent all these checks to different cities they have to get involved be aware this so many times so many other ways they're trying to scam people through online jobs be aware of that they're sending checks as a mystery shopper to evaluate money transfers and I even gave the Secret Service that I'm Satan exact location in Texas where both the MoneyGram and the Walmart money was transferred from the evaluation That was supposed to be legit and which I got skin from so it's not just saying that we won money in addition to that it's posting job opportunities from home or evaluating things and those are also scams be aware if there's any misspellings you know it's a scam and unfortunately as I read from one of the other comments if it sounds too good to be true it probably is and it stinks when you're homeless with a special needs child and a service dog who I am responsible for caring for and these people are so heartless they would take the last penny from somebody who has nothing and our government is not protecting us

To Robert J Bryant, believe this is funny either. I am so down in the dumps because I also have prayed for a win fall to help me get back on my feet after being homeless for 4 mos. and being all alone at Christmas, I prayed to get finances and to be able to help others who are in trouble this time of year, especially Children & Veterans. Only to receive this letter a second time to be told that I won. I have cried so much in the past month or so due to the hardships I have had and would have loved it to be true. Now I have two of these hurtful letters without any help for me or the others I wanted to help. It is NOT Christmas' fault that we have such terrible people in the world that sent out these letters, Please have heart and God bless you and your family.

I recieved Official Form of Tender No. 13570 also, $12.99 is for a "Premium Offer" according to this form. The Premium offer is listed on this form as follows: $2, 500.00 gift certificate for up to 75% off WONrewards.com online merchandise and service offerings. It appears the 12.99 is required to purchase the Premium Offer but not to enter to win the $1, 327, 940.00. If you type in this site you are redirected to http://www.goshoppingmall.com/

Grand Prize Sweepstakes XVI Official Rules are enclosed with this mailing and state: For sweepstakes results available after March 31, 2017 visit http://thenextgeninc.com. I googled thenextgeninc.com and got this: http://www.nbc12.com/story/24805506/on-your-side-aler-questionable-sweepstake-offers

Rules also state: If winning number(s) are not matched, Grand Prize(s) will not be awarded. All entry numbers are distributed randomly . It is indeterminable as to whether the actual winning number has been distributed, until after promotion end date. It is possible that there will not be a Grand Prize Winner.

Sounds like a Scam to me!

Today, November 8, 2016, I received a letter from Judging Office & Decisions Center telling me I have won $1, 327, 940. States it came from Kansas. It is a shame that people go to all that much trouble making out fake forms and asking $12.99 to be returned as a fee for processing. These people need to be jailed.

Award Notification Commission [ANC] winner of $2,000,000.00

I received a letter in the mail today stating that if I sent them a small fee of $12.99 then they will send me my winnings of either a lump sum of $1, 327, 940.00 net or $66, 666.66 yearly for 30 years (total $2, 000, 000.00). I think whoever is doing this is a sick person because I know people fall for this because they have fallen on hard times and they send the money in expecting top win big. As soon as I got this letter I looked it up to see if it was legit and low and behold, it is a scam. I am not going to lie, I did get excited because who wouldn't be excited to win that kind of money. My concern is that they have my address and birth date! I think we should all band together and file a lawsuit against this so called 'company'!

I just got one of those letters in my mail today. After the initial excitement of possibly winning, I started looking for authenticity. My common sense also kicked in. If you are winning a lottery, why are you paying money? How can you be eligible to win money for sweepstakes that you didn't even enter? Thank God for Google and people like us who have complained and warned others.

I received the same letter and Melissa's thought and comment is what didn't make sense to me either, wouldn't you just deduct processing fees out of my first payment? It's been a tough economy over a long time for all, probably would have more respect for you if you were a prostitute or male stripper. You're the beat for $13. That money you cash checks and money orders is F.D.I.C. Deposited money. You should be prosecuted and penalized. Shame, Go work at Subway or Mcdonald's!

I just received the same letter in my mail on yesterday and I decided to research this and they also asked me to send $11.89 and if I wanted it to be rushed I would need to send an extra $3.00. Who pays to have money they supposedly won? I think that's a question we all should ask ourselves when we receive letters like this. I also agree that it should be a way of bringing these people down. We need to keep exposing people like this that keep trying to scam hard working people for their money.

I just received the same letter. I am glad I found your post. I thought it was but wanted to make sure. Thank you. I do agree people like this should have consequences for their actions. 13 dollars isn't much to some but to others falling for this kind of scam can really screw them.

Award Notification Commission [ANC] I won $2,000,000.00

Sent me a letter stating I won 2 million dollars but because of an oversight that I need to send them $ 12.99 in the form of cash, check, money order or cc. This is the first time i have heard.from this company.
I have been contacted by another company claiming they were with Readers Digest and they were to give me another chance to win my cash money and Mercedes but I needed to get a cashiers check from Chase Bank for $ 325.00 and deposit into an account with the name of Donyella Alan in NYC. So they could deliver my cash and ship me my car. In any case they kept on so finally I told them I would just come there and get it. They argued a bit but finally gave me location. Claimed they were in Waco Texas. When I tried to pull up driving directions couldn't be found. So I just put in addressing and came up in Amarillo n Texas, but when you put in just zip code it came up in Arkansas n now don't forget the check was to be deposited in an account in NYC... LOL
I have had so many scams after me in the last 3 months including for free medical supplies all they need is my insurance information. Don't trust anyone!

Award Notification Commission [ANC] - letter confirming I have won jackpot, award of $ 1 327 940.00

I received a letter in the mail on June 27, 2016 announcing I just won $ 1, 327, 940.00 and the cash would be paid directly to me by option of a lump sum of $ 2, 000, 000.00 to be remitted by annual payments of $ 66, 666.66 per year for 30 years. All I have to do is sign and send in $12.99 to the office of ANC. By cash, check, or money order. Our office...

Award Notification Commission [ANC] sweepstakes letter is very misleading

I received my letter from Award Notification Commission, and checked with the Kansas City, BBB
This letter is not what it sounds like. This ANC has been in business since 1989
You are paying to enter a sweepstakes! If you read all the small print you can figure that out. I checked with the FBI and the BBB there is nothing wrong with the business doing what they are doing. If you want to gamble on this sweepstakes then send your money. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DON'T AND SHRED THE LETTER. I AGREE THIS SHOULDN'T HAPPEN, THIS COMPANY IS PRAYING ON THE PEOPLE THAT FILL THEY WON! You didn't win anything, but a chance to enter a sweepstakes!
