I am a resident of Thirumullaivoyal residing in Akshaya Homes, near Vivekananda School. The Municipal authorities are dragging their feet from providing water connection and sewage connection for my apartment for the last 6 years! They have collected Rs.20000/- from each of the apartment owners. We are spending more than Rs.3 lakhs for sewage clearance and Rs.2 lakhs for drinking water every year. With the sewage water around the building, the entire building stinks and is a major health hazard! The contractor for sewage clearance loots us by charging Rs.1200/- per load. We pay Rs.700/- per load of drinking water. It is nothing but pure day-light robbery, for which the Avadi Municipality is responsible. I urge the TN Govt to do something urgently to remedy the situation.

Iam residing in Cauvery Street, Sindhu Nagar, Avadi.
Here there are more than 100 houses without proper waste water/Rain drainage system, every one of them gave waste water connection to near by land or in their own land, due to overflow of waste water there are complaints about viral fever in most of the houses. This will cause dengue fever and it is very important to take necessary action.

This is Anna complex- III rd street, Jayashree Nagar, Mittanamalli, , iaf avadi-55 (Behind St.Marys School). There is a manhole in front of our house which is connected to the sewage system and it has been leaking for the past 15 days. Due to rain the leaking of sewage water has worsened which is creating a problem for the people residing here and the people walking through by this place. It has been creating several problems like its been difficult walk here due to leaking. The leaking sewage water is going to the underground where our boring pipe is connected thus contaminating the water which is very unhygienic. We have filed several complaints previously but still action has not been taken. We request you to take action as soon as possible.

Hi,

My road was dug for underground drainage in 2012 and still today they haven't put road. During rainy days vehicles get stuck and its very difficult even to walk. Clay sand gets stuck on shoes and slippers. Only one question I want to ask suppose if there is an emergency and ambulance comes and get stuck what can we do? Will councilor come and save the persons life.

Yesterday it rained and today the condition s worst. My car got stuck. Who will bear the repair charges and who will save us for all these problems.

People in our area got fed up by complaining to councilor to take steps to put road. Today I lost by temper and that is the reason am writing in this site. Can somebody take this to the government and take necessary steps ASAP.

AVADI, J.B.ESTATES, SARASWATHY NAGAR 5TH CROSS residents are sufferig badly due to the condemned roads and por sanitation no one cares about the peoplesincluding political &bureaucratic when they are going to look after this matters. Though several representations made all in vain we hope any good officers will look into the matters.
