AutoZone visit

I walk in and ask a guy who is working there for his oppinion, he helps me out after bossing me around and laughing at me for wanting to look at the fuse box panel outside with the flashlight. I shrug it off, figure out everything by myself and find some fuses to use and ask if they keep them in the counter. 2 minutes later I come back they are gone. I come back in find the fuses, buy the fuses to try and they didnt make a difference, so I go try to return them. He happens to be at the door when I walk in and just interjects himself in front of me when I open it... Just ride autozone... So I ask if I can return them. And he looks at me like i'm crazy smirks and has a little laugh. A previous worker allowed me to do this. I get that it's policy, but your workers shouldn't be [censor] about it. They can but another straw and i'm not working at autozone.

AutoZone dale wager of middlesboro ky

I called about a part and Dale Wager ( Manager ) on duty at 3 pm Saturday July 15. He couldn't hear me so I spoke up. He then told me not to yell at him. When I told him I wasn't he replied with I tell you what to do call a different place we don't want your Business. And then hung up. I called right back for 10 minutes and no answer so I went to the store and he told me to leave.. I spend a lot of money at this store. He knew who I was and said he didn't care.

AutoZone mis informing customer

I recently contacted AutoZone regarding a item needed for repair. I spoke with a gentleman (Afro-Am) on the phone regarding the item. The gentleman informed that I could order the part which is located in Virginia and that the part will be in at 1:00pm on July 12, 2017. Once I arrived I was served by Heather Walker and purchased the item. Once transaction was made, I informed them that the mechanic will arrive at that time to take possession of the item. During this, no one informed me that the part wouldn't be in at 1:00pm. Around 2:30pm the mechanic arrived and notified Walker that he was there to get the item. The mechanic Mr. Randall stated that Walker had a very unprofessional attitude in informing hi that the item was not arriving until 6:00pm. I called the business and spoke to another employee and informed her of what was explained to me. During this time, neither the male nor Walker would get o the phone and speak to me regarding the mishap. Any and all information came from a third party. The male tried to say that he informed me that I missed the order time frame in which no one infomed me of this. I feel that the attitudes displayed at thes establishment was very unprofessional even to not speaking to me and allowing a third party to attempt to explain thisand she had no idea of what was told to me. Walker only informed that I will receive a call once item arrives and nothing further. The mechanic feels that the unprofessionalism was unwarranted.

AutoZone career at az

In January of this year I had to go court over a civil matter in another state. At that time I was the commercial sales manager at the store. I let my store manager know of the upcoming court date. Had to take day off work, January 19, 2017. Planned on returning to my normal schedule of Monday through Friday the following day. Had spoke with attorney prior to court hearing and was told not to worry about it he would get it thrown out. A few days before my DM had asked why I was off that Thursday, the 19th. Both the store manager and myself explained to Tom that I had a civil court appearance in PA to attend to and I would be back the following day of the 20th. Well as it goes with civil court in PA, even after all my witnesses and investigator testified in mybehalf, and my attorney still at this point assured me we would win the judge ruled against me. Why, we have no idea. I was given 5 months incarceration. My store manager the following day, Friday 1/20/17 did a video conference with me about what all happened. My best friend and one of my witnesses also called my DM Tom personally and explained the situation to him. Even asked if I could be put on unpaid leave of absence. Neither hear nor their. I undestand Autozone is a at will place of employment. I have no issue with that. I understand completely what all that entails. However the problem I have is when I spoke to my store manager via video conference and on several visits I was told I was just being pointed on attendance points and that the points would be gone by the time I had to reapply. I knew I would be termed out and did not have a issue with it. I was also explained by my store manager that I was put in the system as reliable do to the fact of what I had done for the store and had a great annual review and only ever had one write up. Now after everybody was informed as to what happened I come home on June 18, 2017. I call my DM Tom. My DM Tom in forms me that he had no idea of what happened to me only knew I was arrested and that is not reliable and I committed job abbondonment. I explained to my DM Tom that there was nothing criminal about what happened and seven years ago the samething transpired and I was able to get my job back. He explained that he had changed my dispotion to job abbondment which of course is not a rehireable offence because I did not let anybody know what was going on. I corrected my DM, and said on the contrary, I did let everyone know what was going on and what exactly had transpired. Even you were aware of my court date a few days prior and you knew what happened the day of the hearing. I explained to him what the then store manager had done and put me in as rehireable and only pointed me out for my attendance. My record with the company has been perfect. There have been know complaints as to how I was running my business. I was in the middle of cleaning up a mess from the previous commercial sales manager and gaining both customer's respect business. And as I said previously, my annual review in October of 2016 was great. I don't know why my DM would have done what he did and lie to me in so many ways and tell me I could not be hired back. After what I had already been told and did. I could understand if I were a problem employee or had attendance issues or if it was for a felony but none of that is true. Ease help if you can

AutoZone this store is autozone 0194 meadowview and south elm eugene st

I am a current employee of AutoZone and my assistant manager is letting personal feelings enter the workplace and making the workplace very threatening and ruining my view of the company. I've loved AutoZone since I was a kid and worked here since my high school days. I would really like this addressed I'm currently reaching out to management because this behavior is unacceptable of such a position to dictate over others with personal feelings clouding the workplace.

AutoZone managers terrible customer service skills

I asked her to return this unsealed air freshener because I didn't need it and wanted to use my money for a windshield, the Manager At Centerville Rd Manassas Va is so Rude I walked out of there without anything because she was so rude and I was so angry. Her name was Emma and she was such a snob she acted like her stuff didn't stink and she was rude to the employees as well, she was rather bossy. I didn't like her and refuse to go ever again.

AutoZone customer service

I had the worst customer service experience of not only an auto shop but probably any store I've been to. I googled what headlight bulb I needed before going into the store bought it and went out to change my bulb. Found out what I had googled was wrong, went back into the store less than 10 minutes later to return it (I had opened the package). I asked the sales representative if I could return this because I bought the wrong one or exchange it for the right one. He answered my question with a question saying "Would you buy this off the shelf?" And I said " I didn't use it I just opened it" he told me they wouldn't take it back opened, even with the receipt and packaging right there. So I decided to just continue and buy the right headlight because I was just trying to do this quickly before work. At the check out he made a snarky comment asking if I was sure I got the right one this time and then told me that this should be a life lesson to make sure I'm 100% sure I have the right one before opening the package. Gonna try returning the product at a different autozone or going back when a manager is present. I already felt bad enough about buying the wrong one I wish the representative could have been more empathetic rather than trying to make me feel worse for a simple mistake.

AutoZone scott the manager in ronkonkoma

Today I had to return the brakes with the warranty and since I was there I had gotten the check engine light looked at so I can buy the parts to fix it. I was already in the store for 20mins and stood on line and all. Now as I was getting help by Laura who works there and is one of the best employees in my opinion and then Scott had come over and told her to stop helping me and to take care of the line first. There was 3 people at the registers and it was not right to push me off until last. He said since you're getting free service that that is not a priority. Yeah free service for me to buy the parts so the store still makes my money! I want something done about this! I spend a ton of money in the autozone stores and to be treated like my business doesn't matter is not right. Normally I wouldn't mind waiting but since I was running late already to pick my daughter up from Brooklyn I should have been taken care of. I had waited in line and it was my turn. Look up my record [protected] is the number I use at autozone for my warranties and you will see that I spend thousands of dollars at your store. Rewards card number "[protected]" I still have the original card from when your company first went into business. The way I was treated and pushed off to the side as if my loyalty as a customer didn't mean anything was not right and unfair. I want something done about this and I want to know what it is that is being done. No one should get treated the way I did. Not me or anyone else. If I was on line I wouldn't mind waiting patiently until the person in front of me was helped. I wouldn't expect for them to get push aside for me to be helped before them especially when there are plenty of people at the registers. My cell number is [protected] and my email is [protected]@gmail.com. Please contact me at let me know what steps are being taken to correct this matter. I want that manager to be reviewed and watched to make sure he's not doing this to other customers. That is not how you give good costumer service and is not how you represent a company. I want to know my business matters and not just pushed off to the side until the store is empty to help me or until he feels like doing his job. This happened at the store on potion road at the ronkonkoma location in New York 11779 at 3pm Sunday afternoon June 25

AutoZone horrible customer service

I took my battery into AutoZone on 5/24/2017 at 13465 Middlebelt Rd Livonia,  MI 48150 in order to get it the battery charge 100% they ended up shorting out battery making it useless. They told me I can buy a new one even though they shorted the battery and damaged the battery. So I left battery there and asked the district manger when he got back from lunch here it is almost 24 hours and still haven't heard from anyone about the situation horrible customer service. Also the employees and store manage where all standing around talking about prom and how much everyone spent instead of taking care of customer. I am going to tell every single person and will be posting this in all of my 240 michigan facebook auto groups never, ever purchase any of their product at any autozone due to horrible customer service.

AutoZone former employee

Mr. Rhodes,

My name is Scott Blue and I started with your company as a part timer and in less then a year and a half I worked my way up to store manager, well I was a ASM and I was put into a store without a manager, well you know that was going to be my store, , one of the proudest moments in my life, , I love Autozone, I have been a service manager for a few companies and have always used Autozone, , so I am in the store working my fingers to the bone for you, , low and behold, I hurt my back, actually slipped a disc, I felt so bad, so I contact my area director and go to the doctor, , verified slipped disc, I need surgery, so know your company turns on me like a pack of wolves, first Maria Mcclain LIES to Washington state labor and industries about my work history and work ethic and lies about who she got the information from, she said the store manager and he never said any of that and did not know who Maria was, then your human resources manager lies to my doctor about a light duty job, and threatens me that if I dont show up my job is in danger, , so I show only to get fired within 5 minutes of walking in the door by my area director Tom James who tries to trick me into signing something that states I was drunk and on illegal drugs at the time of injury, well the drug test proves that to be a LIE, nothing illegal in my system, I refused to sign it, Is this how you treat loyal employees? you know I still love Autozone and would like to work there, everything I have said is easily proven, lets see how much INTEGRITY the company has, is there any honor? I am sure you can find me

AutoZone problems with district manager in southern region

My husband is a Store Manager for Auto Zone In the southern part of the South. He became a Store Manager 2 1/2 years ago with no prior experience and has run an amazing store all this time. He was a parts sales managers at a different location prior to his new position 2 1/2 years ago. He has been with Auto Zone 5 years. My complaint is this. Since he was given this position of store manager he has continued to do what is needed to make sure his store is run well and clean and making money for the company. In saying that. My husband has almost always worked 65+ hours per week. Because his store has never been fully staffed because people hire on and work for a little while and get tired of working so hard for the little amount of money that they make and decide to look for another job. He has continually asked for help and has not gotten it. And in that time has only had 1 week of vacation and that was about 3 weeks ago, And Lisa did not want to approve that but he insisted he get one because he had not had a vacation since he started 2 1/2 years ago. And while on vacation the District manager Lisa called him or text him several times a day badgering him about his store. Either the store was not making enough sales in what they call wit or they were not giving out enough reward cards. And it is not just my husbands store it is any store that she is the District Manager for. No thank you. Nothing nice to say she is very rude to the employees and store managers. She will call the store managers for conference calls and yell at them and cuss at them. I have heard and know so many people that quit and walk away from this company because of her. At this point the managers are willing to walk away from the money and promises that are made but never seen. At 65 + hours a week a person cannot do that forever and she does not see that. There is no life after work. They do not get any time to themselves or their families because she will not leave them alone on their own personal time. My family has made attempts to contact corporate and had no results with that. It was not until this last attempt when we asked for the information to go to the vice president or someone higher up then her position that they attempted to call us. The problem with that is, the person who contacted us is one of employees in the HR department and he is her friend and if you go to him with a complaint it goes no were because of their friendship. It stops there. That is common knowledge within the different stores within the district. The employees feel like if they say anything to anyone that there will be retaliation against them for trying to get this fixed. They will loose their positions or harassed so bad that it is not worth it to even say anything. I have to say that I know of at least 3 managers in her district, in the south who are looking else where for jobs. And it's not just managers it is any employee. At this point money is nothing when you are not treated with respect.

AutoZone former employee wasted 10+ years with this awful company.

I was terminated from Autozone in 2016 for doing my job!..It looks like they like to get rid of hardworking employees. To mention the fact that the Manager does nothing but take advantage of her hardworking employees. She never closes like she supposed too. Does not do any Check engine lights because she don't like to go into customers dirty and smelly cars/trucks, does not even go outside to do anything that requires her to go outside. If she is a Store manager she should know how to do all services, that Autozone requires us to do. What makes her so special? Autozone should should check into this Store Managers bad habits when it comes to company policies of when a Store has to close 1 night a week and work 1 Sunday a Month. She is abusing the system and it's a shame. She claims she cares for everyone but all she does is think of herself!
