AutoZone battery warranty and and employees

Hello my name is Chris Munro and I have been an Autozone loyal customer since I've started driving 17 years ago. Always loved the company employees and service. That is until I moved tie Venice, California. Autozone on Washington Blvd In Culver City California has been my go to for all my parts for my RV I just bought. In the past 4 months I've spent about $500. Half of which I returned and rebought because is improper investigation by employees on which part to buy. 3 times I payed for shipping and had to rebuy every time. I've always been patient and never complained. During this time I was sold a battery with the sales pitch you can charge it here for free yatta yatta yatta. I boought it. I asked for the best battery they could give me fir my truck. What they sold me I have had to replace 5 times in 4 months because when I bring the battery in for a charge it is bad when I puck it up. I have 2 battery. You guys were charging both but only the new one I bought from Autozone kept going bad. In this time the employees started giving me attitudes about charging the battery and now start say g that in the reason thebattery keeps going bad. Today the night manager Ahmed argues with me to the point he says he went replace it. I was shocked. I had to argue and explain to get my replacement. The 5th one. Each one dying after 1st charge. We even tested it when I would return. Its fine. But when I pick it up. Its bad. I started feeling like employees might be tampering fir my own reasons. So today I decided to sound record when I went in. Not only do i have Ahmad arguing with me and threatening to but replace but on my way out i got him saying, and I quote, "get your [censored] out of here". Which I then left. This morning when I dropped it off the day employees wanted to make me feel bad and tell me I should charge it at home. I live in my RV and can't or i would. I bought the battery with the understanding you guys would charge it. These employees have cost me more money than I want to admit. All I want is to be able to have a battery that is not bad after 1 charge. And especially don't want to be made it feel bad about expecting them to uphold warranty.

AutoZone service is the question?

Service: My name is John Eric Jurasin and I am a former employee of Autozone. Back in 2006 I worked for your fine establishment which of course left due to my completion of electrical trade school. Now Im a Foreman with FSG Electric, and thanks for the opportunity to have a chance to train as a PSM with Autozone. It provided skills that seem to have tragically been lost or not pushed to help a costumer. I just spent roughly $700.00 dollars last week and have been working late so haven't had much time to complete tasks at hand. Well after working all day I meet my wife and kids for dinner and after started working on my vehicle. As I disassembled everything needed to remove my blower moter on a 2000 Cadillac Escalade I realized the part was completely different. So rushed to the neighborhood AutoZone and was turned away with parts in hand.(1607 S.W Military Dr.) Out of respect the lady in a gray shirt could of verbally informed with any excuse and I would have walked away with no reason to complain. Instead as I was getting out of my wife's car with my blower moter and the one in a new box walking to the entrance. The mid aged women was letting 2 gentlemen out and keep in mind it was not even 10pm at the time I clearly had 2 to 3 minutes till closing time. I had asked ma'am aren't y'all still open and she rushed to close the door and locked it. Turning her back on me and waving her left hand in the air bushing me away. As part of your management team you would figure the professionalism or lack there of would have taken part in a situation like this. Or you imagine she would have the decency to let me know sorry "we have to many customers and can't allow any more in." Or "We just closed out the system for the night." Ect. Now I have my truck all torn apart and have to leave it that way till tomorrow. That is if I get out at a reasonable time. With the way the schedule has been it may take another week befor I can get time to work on my vehicle. Please inform me with how you plan on correcting this unsettling situation. Due keep in mind I am not asking for a individual to get terminated but corrective action needs to take place and have her properly trained as a manager you would like working for your establishment. Thanks for your time if any questions please contact me at [protected]

AutoZone employee policy

I have worked with AZ for the past 3+ years and it has been a nightmare! As a woman I have been passed over for FT positions over men who had less experience than myself. It wasnt until I spoke up that I got a promotion. Sad considering my work ethic should have been considered, but because my boss is sexist, I was passed over 4×! The hours are long and if you're a part time employee working Ft Hours you earn absolutely nothing! Their stores are severely understaffed and their employees are overworked for minimum wage. Yes, minimum wage to have an any and all availability, open/close store, customer service, Plano grams, battery, headlight and wiper installation, recalls, truck 3x a week, cleaning, commercial orders, delivery driver, supervisor and more. All for min wage! They expect their employees to act as mechanics and rolling tacos pays more an hour.

AutoZone frion

I just walked into the same autozone on Samole rd in pompano beach FL, i'd baught minor parts from in the past such as brake pads, windsheild wipers etc.,. Heck I even have a rewards card w them.. lol Someone asked if I needed help finidng something and I politely said no but I may need help putting this frion in. The guy says "well we only install things as a courtesy" and I said "ok i'll go somewhere where they'll help me" and he said "ok". What a way to lose a sale & customer. 2yrs ago I went to the same store - someone who worked there came out and installed the frion for me and I tipped him thats the only reason why I went back to the same store. Am I mistaken that they dont help anymore.?

AutoZone lending a tool

I have been discriminated against by waterville maine autozone because of my ethnicity. Autozone denied to lend me their tools while they lend it to others.
I have done many business with waterville autozone. They know that I am originally from middle eastern county, even they recognize me by my accent on the phone. On september 18 I called several times to verify availability of 29 inch socket to barrow. They told me on the phone they do not lend out such a tool. Consulting this with my mechanic he told me autozone does lend out such tolls. Next day I took picture of the tool I needed and took it to them. A new employee that I never seen before behind the counter told me they do have the tool if I want to barrow it. I said fine. While he went in the back to get the toll, I saw other employee that I knew rushed back there to talk to him. After a few second the same new employee came back and he said they do not have it. He did not say, it has been lend out or he did not give me a reason for not having the tool. He just said they do not have it and then he tried to sell me one. I final had to spend $20 gas to drive autozone in augusta to barrow such a tool.

AutoZone duralast gold battery

Yesterday I stopped in at Autozone 1210 Turner Mccall Blvd Rome, Ga to get my batteries checked out. I have an 08 Ford F-350 diesel truck. I was told that both batteries were bad. The batteries in the truck are Duralast Gold. Upon the manager checking on when they were bought he told me [protected] which was 14 days past the free replacement period. Then the manager tells me that I can get 70.00 off per battery prorated. The batteries are 159.99 a piece. I have been using Duralast batteries for a long time but am now having second thoughts. Autozone should do a better job of standing behind their products! How do you go from free replacement then 14 days later it goes down to 70.00 prorated per battery. I don't feel like this is fair at all. Charles Marable [protected] [protected]@aol.com

AutoZone district manager

I worked for Auto Zone for almost 10 yrs.
I had a bad day and quit. Was told I could be hired back but my District manager said no .
3 other people have been hired back several times after the quit.
I work really hard keeping the place clean and trying to keep the plano grams up to date.
I knew my job very well. Was a store manager at one time.
Just don't understand why I couldn't get a second chance considering the other 3 people did.
Sad part is I was the hardest worker there.
My store manager still tells me he needs me there.

AutoZone manager nick w

You have a manager at the Atlanta tx store and I think his name tag says Nick W. The only black on that works there. He was very rude to me after I wouldn't give him my phone number. First of all the employees shouldn't be trying to get everyone phone number. He should be helping and not being rude. I have tried to talk to other managers about him but noone will listen.

AutoZone customer service rep: carlos r

Couple of us were waiting in line to pay, when the customer service rep Mr. Carlos R at the Autozone store #4863 started taking people who were not in line for payment. Upon asking why he was letting people cut the line when we were standing in line to be helped, Mr. Carlos said "he does not care".

Is this the kind of customer service we expect from Autozone.

AutoZone customer service

9/13/2018 I entered Auto zone 318 Virginia Rd edenton NC to purchase a Auto part I ordered and was informed would arrive the evening before. I was informed that the part wasn't there but would be there within the hour so I said I would be back then.when I returned and walked into the store the item was slammed on the counter and shoved at me and told to have a nice day I told the guy that I hadn't paid for the item and that he was lucky I was an honest person.he rang up the item paying by debit card I asked him do I stick my card into the machine and he told me to stick it up my nose . after the transaction was complete I turned to leave the store and he said to me that he hoped he never saw me again. I felt very disrespected, insulted, and was rudely treated.pursueing the matter I found out that the person who did these things and treated me this way was the store manager who's name is Erin last name unknown. I was informed by another manager at the store that I would not experience that kind of treatment by Erin again because he was relocateing to another store.as a customer and a human being noone should be treated this way especially by someone of athourity who is supposed to lead by example show and provide good customer service. I feel very strongly that this person should not be in athourity to lead, train how to provide good customer service which is clearly something he doesn't know how to do and be releived of duty to insure that he doesn't treat anyone else this way.you loose customers that way and the loss of customers can have a serious impact on any business. I hope this matter will be taken care of and something done to correct it thank you.

AutoZone customer service

I stopped by today because my check engine light was on and asked a guy spanish looking who worked there if he could pull the code. He proceeded to say "no we don't do that" because I know that service is offered I asked him really? That's when he changed his answer and said no we won't do it right now because it's raining outside. Then added on we close in 20 mins. I looked up the hours before I stopped by today and it states 9pm. I get that he may not have wanted to do it in the rain but lying to me about being closed to get rid of me was unacceptable. I have been going to autozone for everything and so do my mechinal friends. I am so turned off by his additude it makes me want to never bring my business there again.

AutoZone service

I called autozone to look for a specific part which they could not find, i was told over the phone to come in with a picture for reference. When I came in with the picture for reference i was helped by a women who I told that my part was not searchable but usually found in the gasket bin. She told me that she did not want to go through the bin because "it was a lot to do". I am unhappy with this type of service and i have always had a problem with your store(s). Managers stood there didnt even bother to help the situation when they clearly see the problem in front of them. I will no longer shop with this company ever again due to many years of bad customer service. Specifically the stores (2475 w. North ave milwaukee, WI) and (4227 w orchard milwaukee, WI). This is my second corporate complaint.

AutoZone tried to prove I wasn't a veteran after asking about the discount

I don't blame Autozone the corporation for this visit, however it was ultimately fairly embarrassing to have two staff members speak so loudly that everyone in line could hear the exchange. I asked if they had memberships like Lowe's does, where I could bring my Military ID (DD214, not the card) and set it up once so I didn't have to walk around with that piece of paper, none of us veterans do. They proceeded to try and fault me as a liar for my service because I had developed substance abuse problems after heading downrange and don't have the ID card. They could have just said no, we need that piece of paper every visit or we can't give you the discount. I didn't need to be quizzed about where I was stationed, where I did basic training or explaining what a KAFSO is to a bunch of punks that just tried to gain social justice for pointing out someone lying about their service. I will never come to this location again, and if Wal Mart auto has what I need, you can keep your discount. You have made me embarrassed and ashamed at something that happened almost 10 years ago now. I hope you are as embarrassed and ashamed as you have made me feel.

It sucks but that’s the way it is. You can easily fake a piece of paper. It’s hard to fake an ID. Since you are not retired, you would not get a MILITARY ID. What you should get is a VA ID for veterans. Unless you were dishonorably discharged, or other than honorably, then you have no right to claim the discount. If that’s the case, say no to drugs!

AutoZone online order

I ordered a trailer hitch online, when my order arrived it was the wrong part. I called customer service and they checked the part number then told me that I ordered the wrong part number. I explained to her that I input my vehicles information into their system and ordered the part that the system said would fit my vehicle.( I double checked) she insisted that I messed up and even emailed me the order info to confirm that I messed up. Are you serious? She then told me that if I was not satisfied with what I ordered that I could return it to a local store for a refund. If I have to go to a store to correct this my self that I will never go back to their store again. Plenty of other auto parts stores near me to choose from.

AutoZone katie k

I went to auto zone on north vermilion in Danville, IL and i was my father i asked an employee named Katie K. For a oil filter unlike all the other employees i came across there before she kept on telling my father and i we can go get it ourselves! So my father kept asking for her to show us which one was the best one for us, she said no. So much father asked for someone else to attend us or we were leaving cause of the laziness unprofessional that was given to us . She comment back telling my father he needs to learn how to speak perfect English before saying anything. So i stood up for my father and told her that, that didn't give her any right for her to be Racsit on how good his English was . She i told her that wasn't no type of professional and that auto zone shouldn't have someone working there like that . She started calling me a [censored] and to take my father somewhere, i went back to look at her name and i told her to smile, so she kept telling me to [censored] off & kept calling me a [censored] . So she pulled out a weapon, it seemed like it was a taser, i told her i don't understand why she's taking a weapon out on me when I'm pregnant for her to not even touch me or the cops will be up here . I willing took a picture to send to corporate for her act of unprofessional! I spoken to a few after wards and told me they have came across her rudeness and it needs to be taken care of !

AutoZone attitude of night manager 2x in 10 minutes

night employee, the Ritchie Cunningham looking [censored]. he had a horrible attitude when my wife and I arrived looking for replacement headlamps. he immediately judged us as ignorant customers. he spoke at us in a condescending voice and attitude. I am a 100 percent disabled veteran. I have a serious brain injury, my back was broken in three places and was fused as well as my neck... my legs were shattered so my femurs were nailed with large metal rods. my ankles and knees have had their share of abuse. we checked out and went outside. Mr limpdick Cunningham came outside and there was a beautiful mustang he went over to see. I asked the owner a couple of questions and your employee thought that meant I was free game to attack. I could have ended his career in a snap. I may be disabled but I have excellent skills in disabling ignorant [censored]heads.
