AutoZone service

I came into your Colonial Heights store this evening to have my low beam head light bulb replaced on the driver side. I came to the store with BOTH SIDES OF MY HIGHBEAMS WORKING. A girl working there put in the wrong bulb or did something wrong because once she was done I had NO high or low lights on the driver side. A guy comes out and says it may be the wrong bulb, they have me purchase another bulb. My lights are still messed up, the girl leaves to go home and the guy proceeds to help other people know that my lights were not fixed. I NOW HAVE NO HIGH OR LOW BEAM LIGHTS ON DRIVER SIDE. I have to take my car somewhere elseto get both bulbs replaced and see why my highbeams are not working. I received a refund for the bulb because i requested it. I did not receive a thank you, apology, or no regards. This POOR customer service and I request someone to contact me to discuss further. [protected] (Demetria Newby)

Thank you for reaching out to us. We’ve spoken with the Store Manager at Colonial Heights and after reviewing the incident we’ve concluded that the employee in question forgot to refill your headlight fluid after attempting to install the bulbs!

However, this is an easy fix that won’t cost you anything. If you go back to the store the Store Manager will personally assist in installing the headlight fluid. If you have any other issues please feel free to reach back out to us.

AutoZone customer service / employees/managers calling from store to store to prevent client to get item needed.

Dear Auto Zone,

On [protected] my front left brake pad "gold duralastt" shattered on my way home and started grinding metal on metal. It is an issue that needs to be fixed immediately before It causes more damage. So I stop at the Autozone on Sherman way in Conga Park near Sherman Way and Doest.
I was helped by a red shirt employee by the name of Ivan. He was obviously very high on stimulant drugs but that is not the issue. He told me I can purchase new ones for 41 including tax and bring the old ones for a refund so I can get it fixed. ...
Now this is where the issue begins.
I only had $35 on me. I knew it was a long shot but I asked anyways. I asked Moses the manager if I can please leave him my ID, and the $35 so I can go home swap the pads, come back for my id the $6 and my refund. If not I would have to get home take off the pads, get a taxi to auto zone and back.I don't want to cause any damage to the car He looked at me like a criminal and said no in a very disrespectful manner, I asked him why not? He said because than I would have to do it for everybody and turned around and ended it like that.
I turn to Ivan and ask if the store at Reseda and Parthenia. He checked the system and it said they had 3.Ivan calls the store and speaks with the other autozone employee on speaker .At this point I turn around and told the manager that it was wrong that he wouldnt help me out.
Than the next thing I hear on speaker are these exact words. Is that him i hear" send him on over hear we are bored too." Ivan takes it off speaker and saids go to the autozone on reseda and parthenia before 9pm they have plenty of them. it is now about 730pm.
i rushed home, took out the faulty break pad, ordered a taxi made it to autozone @8:30. i was helped by a grey shirt who had no badge and refused to give me his name. He goes on the computer and with a grin he saids we dont have these pads. go to the next autozone tomorow because its about to close. i said the guy told me the system said you had 3, he makes another face and saids let me double check, goes on the computer goes in the back and saids nope we dont have them.
I said the guy even called you over the phone to explain.then the grey shirt said "it is only of us 2 working and nobody has called. i been here since 12. i told him i heard him call this store, he said how do you know it was this store, i told him because he was on speaker phone and i heard you.
Next his body language explained it all.he was lying and he started getting nervous but stood by his story.
I leave get back in my taxi and go to the next autozone on Balboa sherman way. when i walk in they give me the look as if they were excpecting me. i aproach a red shirt and asked if they had these brakes in stock, while he is checking the computer i asked him, you know who i am? he saids, in these exact words. "yes, you have been to 2 diffrent other autozone and i think its messed up what they are doing to customers, let me get you youre brakes, i dont know why they do that"
Wow i couldnt believe it. I What kind of people does autozone hire that has no value in there job, your employees including managment at autozone are playing with customers like that. For some reason i started at sherman way and desoto and ended up at balboa and they had called saying tell this customer we dont have the brakes.
If i would not been felt bad for by the red shirt employee i would have had to leave my car on the towers over night in the rain, not take my daughter to school and miss work, all because i asked for a favor and the manger said no, i told him that was messed up and so he starts making his moves to make sure i dont get the pads anywhere around me.
please adress this issue, if the guy did not feel bad for me i would be running around in the rain to get my car fixed.
I need to know how this issue will be addresed and what has been done
so it will never happen again to any other customer that shops at autozone. I only use autozone and now i dont even want to look at the sign.
Managment at these stores are not to be trusted while this is going on to customers.
thank you for your time and i hope that this problem gets solved.

AutoZone core return

I returned a core to your store in Parma for 18.00 on a battery. I paid with a $50.00 gift card and $133.00 debit. O was issued a $18.00 gift card that I will never use as I tend to avoid your stores all together. I was a p2 certified commercial parts manager for over 13 years. I know what it is like to put in a battery when the wind chill is - 20 and I did not make your employees do that. I know that it is just $18.00. I will never see again because I will never step foot in to one of your stores again. I do not like that I am getting parts from unknown manufacturers in duralast boxes I do not like when I ask an employee for a foot of vacuum hose and he returns with fuel injection hose. Soy last 2 visits have been a total bust

Any return at any retail store will go back on a gift card or merchant card first if one of those were used during the original purchase.

AutoZone shopping experience at the north everett wa location with sales person elizabeth

I was shopping for seat covers and was asked if i needed any help by an employee. I asked if the seat covers ever go on sale where she said they do and that they had a few that were currently on sale. When another employee (Elizabeth) came around the corner and pointed out the two that were on sale. i stated that they were only 30 across the street and as she walked off she clearly stated to me "why dont you go across the street then." I was so floored not only by the statement but the attitude that Elizabeth had. i even asked her and the original employee that was helping me if that was what she said, where, she rolled her eyes at me and said "Yeah". I have never been in my 48 years on this earth spoken to in such a rude and condescending way by retail personnel. I'm not sure what brought this about but i thought someone might want to know when an employee is not representing the company properly. I did buy the seat covers but only because they didnt have the one i wanted in stock

AutoZone unprofessional and bad treatment!

I visited the store in Marion, IN and dealt with the Manager Jeff B. He was absolutely the most rude, disrespectful and unprofessional Manager I've ever seen. I owned my own business for over 5 years and would have never had an employee represent! Company in such a derogatory fashion and treat customers the way he does. I went in to return a couple of items that I could not find the receipt for that were purchased in a near by city and asked him to try and look it up. Immediately an attitude from the start, after unsuccessfully locating it I told him it was purchased through a business account and gave him the number. He did not pull up the account and he said sorry can't help you! I asked why he's giving me an attitude over helping me and he said cause he can. I asked if he would call the other store and get the account number and he said no. I asked why not and he said he didn't want to. I asked what his problem was with doing his job and mentioned nobody else including a past manager had every acted this way he said "I guess I'm a dick then have a good night, I could go elsewhere". The other employee and customer's were in shock.

AutoZone - duralast battery

I am on day 738 of 1095 of a warranty. The battery needed replacement and the Autozone rep told me that had I come 8 days ago, they would cover 100 % the replacement of the battery. Instead, I would get a pro-rate credit. I asked for consideration since it seemed unfair. The reps response was that the computer would not let him do anything. Well, I vote...

AutoZone Overpriced

I've seen their ads a million times and always thought that they are the best ones with the best prices and that the variety of good was the best in our city. But I was so wrong when I went shopping for parts in a different store.
So I am here to tell you that AutoZone items are very overpriced and you can buy samу items and parts at much better prices in different stores. Please, don't be like me and learn from y little mistake.

AutoZone manager jazzmine s at your store in las vegas nv

I was in your store this morning and as I was standing in line waiting to get helped there was a young Hispanic man in front of me asking the manager for a part, she asked him for the model of his car but he didn't understand because he did not speak English instead of asking for someone to help translate to him she started to yell and talk to him in a very rude way the man stood quietly because he didn't understand she repeatedly told him "I'm not gonna say it again, model not motor" in a very aggressive tone. Finally a man standing in the line got out and went to help him but I feel that people go to autozone to be helped by the employees that work there not Customers who go in. I also feel like she really doesn't know how to speak to people or if not that she was being racist to the man because he didn't speak English. I was very offended by how she treated him I had to leave what I was going to buy and I walked out.

AutoZone management behavior

I am an Autozone customer. I went into your store in El Mirage, Arizona, on Thunderbird one week ago, I believe Sunday. When I entered the store it had a few customers in the store. There was a lady identified as a manager, about thirty with brown hair and wearing a grey shirt. There was two other gentleman. One who not only was helping a customer but was the only one answering phone calls, he was older with glasses, slightly balding, and a younger man walking a customer down an aisle to get something. The manager was at a registar. She was speaking to a non english speaking customer in a short tone and very rude. Each sentence ended with her rolling her eyes at him, and he was trying to tell her his issue, she kept cutting him off and dismissing him. He left. The grey older shirted man asked her if she could help the next customer, she then rolled her eyes at him and made very rude, comments. These comments were many, when she noticed I was watching, she paused and turned to me and said, Frustrating people dont understand. Then she turned away from her associate, I told her I could wait a moment for help, and she said he can handle it himself. The grey shirted man was very nice in response, and told each person he personally would help them all in a moment. He never disrespected anyone and referred to everyone as sir. She the lady helping me rolled her eyes at him in disgust more than once. I handed her my radiator coolant. She did not greet me or ask me if that is what is what i needed she just rang it up and said the amount. I paid, and asked her for a customer service number, she stated something like here go ahead and call, and as I turned to leave, she leaves the counter, leaving the older gentleman with multiple people alone at the counter.
I truly felt bad for the man who was really who should of been the manager. I dont think women should run this store, I dont think she is an example of your product and if she is an example of your store I dont think people will continue to go there. She does not like me the paying customer, she does not like people who do not speak her language, and she is disgusted and rude to her employees. I watched her for a while and although everyone has a bad day, she simply continued her behaviors when she should always be professional and respectful. I will tell my friends to go to Napa down the street because of her. I am not just one person that sees or saw that behavior and believe me they who are helped by her and her attitude will not return as an Autozone customer.

AutoZone battery

On 11/30/17 I went to the Frederick autozone on monacacy Blvd because my battery had died three times. I had an hour and a half to get to work. They had a battery in stock but the guy an girl working said they had to check to see if it would take more than 45 mins. He said he couldn't do it because of a pice on my car that keeps the battery from popping out of it comes loose. Then he couldn't get my car jumped. He had to have a customer do it. I went not even 1/4 of a mile to advanced. The guy, Tim, was the only one working but even running back in to help customers it only took ten mins! They were even cheaper than autozone. This has led me to believe the people at autozone just didn't want to do it. I will never go to autozone again and I will make sure my friends and family don't either! That was the worst customer service I had ever dealt with! I think you need a refresher course at that store!

AutoZone employee

You have a male employee person that threaten to kick my [censor] in your parking lot, cussing me out saying the F=bomb while quite a few other customers were in the parking lot. It was last night 11/5/17 around 6 or 7 o'clock.
9540 Federal Blvd, Federal Heights, CO 80260
I believe Dale was the manager I talk to when I called the store and complained.
I went in today and bought my parts, seen him and asked if he was the one that wanted to kick my butt last night and he said yes like he still wanted to.
I tried to make amends for something I didn't start., but he still has the wrong attitude . For the full story my # [protected]
Put it this way, his driving 60 mph through Sonics parking lot and AutoZone parking lot with pedestrians around and riding my [censor] while I'm doing 10 mph. Isn't being very civilized and then threatening to whooped my [censor], isn't very respectful towards customers.
P. S. I didn't know he was an employee until he went inside and the manager came out.
Wish I had the other customer who said he seen your dumb employee riding my [censor] from 2 feet behind my number.
Your employee needs to watch who he threatens, wrong customer might .

Hey said he was 20 feet back and I brake checked him. That just means I'm stopping. But he could smell what I had for dinner, he was so far up my butt.

AutoZone customer service

I make it a habit of calling the store before going in to check on price and brand of the part I'm looking for. I called the new store at 2701 s university drive in Davie, FL and the gentleman picked up and immediately places me on hold. I hung up after around 8 minutes. I go into the store which is empty; not another customer in sight. 2 ladies are eating lunch and one gentleman chatting with them. Then why am I placed on hold so long? I advised the service guy of my holding and he pretended not to hear me. I walked out. Wouldn't buy a part from these unprofessional people again.

AutoZone service/ help

I stood patiently in line only to be mistakenly barked at by a very rude man, named Paul B. He was clearly in the wrong. I don't appreciate terrible service. This terrible employee did not apologize to me. I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere. Someplace that will be professional. Auto zone never has enough employees. They always seem over worked, a poor excuse for rudeness. GoodBye!

in the last week-Edit
These [censor] refer people to backyard mechanics and in turn the consumer gets screwed over... Lil Darren over there is a weasel, Oh and dont end there by any means, we have a Brian w/ an I not a y, then theres a Craig Blackwell, oh wait we also of a Derrick Edwards, oh shoot and theres a David now with all these people they could not manage a case of Krabs and Im dead serious. They will take Labor Claims and some how misplace them, seems odd, what makes all this sad is the fact sure I was nice at first then BAM I got no where so I had to take the extra step and go nasty. Not holding my breathe but they say check is in the mail why should I believe them, shoot they lied about getting them. As a shop owner I dont have time for this bs I had to deal with, they at one time even would not deliver to my shop cause a lil puppy yanked on a parts drivers polyester pants, and this puppy was little. They have raised my credit limit without my permission numerous times and in turn you got some goofy fool walks in wanting a check for a credit amount that was not approved by myself personally. Serious consumers and business owners be aware when dealing with this store, I do know this all these yahoo's named above seriously dont take there jobs serious by any means, what they need to understand only joke related to that store is in all of there pants they have no balls! At the Marianna, Florida store I make very frequent purchases, although I have to wait for the employee to get off the telephone from taking calls from people that have not driven to the store to make the purchase. I have actually been at the counter on 6 separate occasions in the last 3 months, telling the employee what part I need, when the phone will ring and the employee ignores me to look up information for a caller. I have even been told to "hold-on", while the employee answers the telephone. Also, the Manager does not train the new employees on how to even check someone out at the Register. This has been a problem on 2 occasions in the last 2 weeks in Marianna. On one occasion, the new employee had wasted at least 8 minutes, of my time, fumbling and the lady Manager even walked by him and asked him what time did he get off today. I have even heard the lady Manager get into a yelling match with a customer that was complaining; this occurred about 12 months ago. Something has to change with respecting the customer in the store trying to make the purchase or people are going to go next door to the other AutoParts stores on Hwy 90 in Marianna, Florida.

It's likely that you couldn't provide enough information to them so they could provide you with the quote you wanted. Autozone, I believe, is more of a do it yourself center. They are not a type of service center you'd have your car towed to for work. Most people might have a local shop that serviced the vehicle where you'd tow the car.

AutoZone service

I am from Jasper Alabama and the store I'm complaining about his on 78 Highway . I am a frequent customer at this AutoZone . Purchased led super bright lights for my pick up over a month ago. Before I had attempted to install them I noticed they were the wrong ones. Keep in mind the package has remain on opened our damaged in any form. I just recently attempted to return the lot but I had no paper receipt. I have never purchased anything from AutoZone where they have asked me my name address and number or a rewards member card. I know they track most items you buy I asked them to look it up. They tell me that there was a few discrepancies number one exit they have had a few the items recently stolen within the last month and number two they had no record of me buying them I find that hard to believe. I was always told that my purchases were tracked and recorded for the rewards card. Not only did they refuse a refund but they kept the lights I had tried to retire and tell me that they would hold them in the store until I could prove that I had purchased them at their store. Immediately two of the employees United to bully me and tell me that I had no right to leave with them one show me the door and the other tell me that he had never seen me before. Funny that the same gentleman had come out to previous times merely weeks before to read the codes on my truck and recommended the lot he was actually kind a know if is the time to pick them out for me to be sure did pay were the right one. They were not by the way. In fact AutoZone actually stole from me they could not prove a purchased their nor that I did not but yet they relieve me of what I came in the store with. I was embarrassed and humiliated in front of numerous customers and shown the door I will never shop at an AutoZone again.
