AutoZone customer service

I was waiting at the counter while 2 employees stood behind the counter talking to one another. My father kindly asked if he could be waited on, and the man, whose name was Daryyl, very rudely responded and said "no we can't." He then continued to ignore us while we waited a moment and the female employee came to help us. I am very disappointed and thoroughly disgusted with the way we were treated. I feel discriminated against as a white female and this will not be tolerated. I need to be contacted by a manager so we can discuss this issue.

AutoZone customer service

my husband just passed away February 24th. The March 13th I went to the AutoZone in Three Rivers Michigan. My husband and I used to shop there all the time. I I was having a bad day thinking about everything I had to do since my husband was gone. It just was not thinking clearly I got a ticket on the way to AutoZone to get a battery for the car I am selling. I told him what kind of car it was and he told me it was $149 for the battery, I said that's okay just give me the battery I'm having a bad day. So by the time I was done the battery cost me $200. It was not the battery that he was going to give me in the first place it was a different one. The guy told me when I brought the core I would get $20 back on that and I would get a coupon in my Email for $20 off on my next visit. Well the coupon is not $20 off for the next visit. The coupon is $20 off if you spend over $100 on the next visit. If he would have sold me the $149 battery I still would have got $20 back for the core. I still want it would have got the coupon because it was over $100. I just wasn't thinking. And I really don't have the money to spend since I just buried my husband on March 1st. I think it was terrible the way the guy took advantage of me. I will not shop at AutoZone again. I am going to let all my friends know also. Just terrible.

AutoZone car parts

I went into an Auto Zone on Monday March 12 to order an alternator for my vehicle. The lady was very rude, very short concerning instructions on how and when to pick it up. I'd previously been told (over the phone) that I did not have to purchase the part until after it arrived at their location and it would be available Tuesday morning. However, she said that I had to prepay for it. I left the store and went to a different location. While there I was told that they could not order the part because the other location (that I'd just left) had already ordered it and taken it out of stock. This meant that if they ordered it, it would not be available until Wednesday. So I drove back to the other location and paid for the part 1/2 in cash and the other with my credit card. Ultimately the part was picked up on March 13th, taken to my mechanic and I later found out that the alternator was not bad that it was the battery. So my mechanic never opened the alternator. I took my bad battery and the brand new alternator back to the store for an exchange for a new battery instead. The same lady that was rude and ugly to me on the 12th processed a return and tried to put my credit card in the machine although it was only 1/2 of the product purchased on my card and the price of the battery was only $80 difference. Long story short the lady said that my card "was declining" not accepting the refund. She told me that I could try another store or come back tomorrow. I took my receipt and part to the other location where I was informed that she processed a return so they couldn't do the exchange because in the system it looks as if my product was already returned even though I received no money or new part. I am completely disgusted with Auto Zone and their misinformed employees. This is the 2nd mistake in 2 days and my vehicle is still not fixed due to her not knowing what she is doing. Maybe Auto Zone should train their employees better & not just hire anyone. I'm hoping when I return tomorrow March 14th after 3 days of dealing with them I can get my money back and go to O' Reilly or somewhere else that appreciates my business

AutoZone customer service/product

I want to know who is going to fix my car since autozone employees told me the wrong gap on my spark plug. It had mess up my car. It has cause my car to stall and die and mess with the sensors in my vechile not to mention me having to replace parts due to misfireing and fuel going threw my car because of improper gapping that autozone employees told me and they have computers right in front of them where this info should not be wrong.

AutoZone no service

I went into the store to buy a air freshener. After getting the one i wanted i waited at the register for 15 min! There was at least 6 workers there. Every one of them made eye contact with me but didn't ask if i needed to check out, needed help, nothing. Even the manager looked right at me then turned around to hang out with a friend. Finally i got the attention of one kid after he was done hanging out. I was looking right at him so he couldn't run away. He reluctantly checked me out. This store is an embarrassment to auto - zone

AutoZone store inventory cleanliness no associates available

Good Afternoon,
I shop at the Auto Zone store in Federal Heights Colorado. 96th Ave and North Federal Blvd. I recently was at the store to purchase cleaning products and wanted to buy a couple of car covers. The display for the car covers was a total mess. You can't find any information or ready reference guide because it was totally missing from the display. When I asked for assistance one of the front associates said to me"Oh well thats all we have you just have to look" Excuse me? What? I ended up just buying my cleaning products after standing in line for 10-15 minutes. One clerk helping customers? Everyone one else out helping people with their cars? After standing and standing...and having time to look around. The lobby needed mopping, carpet mats dirty. Store doesn't appear fresh and clean.
I will continue to shop here. However, the store needs attention. I am sure you wanted to know about these issues.
Thank you,
Richard Carlson

AutoZone unethical behavior

February 28, 2018

ATTN: AutoZone Corporate Office for Customer Complaints

The purpose of this email is to share some unethical behavior that continues to occur at some of the stores in Fayetteville NC. Please review, audit, and investigate these concerns. I'm requesting for a full refund on the battery due to it being under warranty and the store refused to provide a battery. Consequently, I was stranded on the road due to this unethical behavior. The battery warranty according to them was no longer valid. I had to purchase a new battery in another city. The receipt information includes Store Trans #802464, Store #0468, Receipt #969143, $158.50 with a core charge of $18.00. I haven't taken this battery back because I want the store contacted by corporate office to relinquish my refund. I'm requesting for a full refund on this unethical behavior and possible fraud for deleting information out the system. I would like this refund at the Hope Mills Store on Main Street.
1. I called AutoZone on Hope Mills Rd to speak with the manager. The manager stated, I had a warranty on the battery. I had this battery checked by another certified mechanic to make sure it was the battery. I reported to the store and the associate tried to charge the battery and put it back into the vehicle. It worked for 2 hours, then went dead. I called the store back and they said it might be the alternator.
2. My sister, Tennille Nelson had purchased this alternator for me last year. I knew it would still be under warranty. She purchased it online and I went to pick it up due to her not living in this area. It was authorized by the Hope Mills Store Manager last year. Subsequently, AutoZone diagnosed my car, I had the alternator remove to get a new one. I reported to the Hope Mills Store on Main ST in Fayetteville and they stated they couldn't find the transaction. I find it very strange they could locate this transaction due to it being purchased online and I still had the receipt. My sister called to speak with them and told them this was not our problem. She would be contacting corporate office if they didn't provide me with an alternator. They finally gave me another alternator and told my husband he will not be getting another one under warranty. This alternator remains under warranty and their communication is unacceptable. Please investigate this matter and feel free to call my sister Tennille Nelson at [protected] to investigate the situation about the transaction not being in the system. She works in auditing herself and knows something is clearly wrong with matter.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Dallas

Hi Stephanie. Appreciated reading your concern. It's very truthful that, if the battery was reported as good and taking a charge, the alternator would be the common second area to check. Hopefully you can appreciate that there must be some documentation to show the unit was purchased through AutoZone in order to qualify for any form of warranty coverage. With your paper receipt in hand, please call any AutoZone that may be convenient to you and they should be able to verify the needed information.

AutoZone service/information about car battery

I was in the Auto Zone in Glenpool, OK on 2/24/18, at approx 1:30. I went in to get price quotes for a battery for my car. The man that helped me was extremely rude. He gave me the prices for the batteries and seemed annoyed that I had additional questions. Auto Zone's prices for the battery I need are higher than all the other prices I was quoted. I understand the salespeople have nothing to do with prices. However, when I spoke with him about that he was flippant and short. I am happy to take my business elsewhere. Not only were the prices exorbitant, the customer service was terrible.

AutoZone customer service/ harassment on store #6740

Kristin store manager has got to learn how to treat customers at their new store location in Spotsylvania, Virginia. I have gone in 3 times to buy oil and filter and recycle old oil vehicles. All 3 times I have been met with resistance from that store manager and smelling old oil accusing me of dumping fuel mixed with oil adter she smells the oil. This is not standard protocol at any other auto zone store and I was told to go somewhere else just because I am Latin. I know this is her racial bias against me because I called her out on how dirty, filthy and full of crap was their oil recycling container at beginning of their store opening. To the point I almost called OSHA/EPA on their no professional workplace standards. Either she gets reprimanded for harrasment or I will seek law representative in court for her behavior. I don't know what [censor] of you told her you can smell gas in oil to begin with. For this to be anaylised to true, a sample has to be submitted to a lab for analysis as they do with large commercial vehicles. Her stupid nose isn't calibrated nor a precise instrument. I suggest you follow up on this matter and contact me at [protected]@aol.com with stsaus update within next 10 days or I will seek my lawyer. Sincerely, Pablo.

Retaliation: If you tell HR that you have a medical condition that limits your ability to do some of the required tasks of auto zoners, that is Protected Health Information and should remain private. When the HR calls to question you over the phone, there should be a place to speak to them privately in the store. No such place exists. The manager and other parts sales manager were listening to my conversation with HR. They have been retaliating against me by cutting my hours, putting me off the schedule and then putting me back on without telling me, charging me 12 points for no call no show and threatening termination. I think this is a volatile environment to work in and find it stressful and uncomfortable. Also, there is a lot of sexual reference and innuendo going on between the store manager and customers with other auto zoners and parts sales managers talking about where the rest of us can hear. This store is in a very small town. Word gets around quick. I don't want to be involved in their gossip. I don't think anyone else that works there deserves that either. Something has to be done. The management had to act professional if they expect the rest of the staff to fall in line and act professionally.

AutoZone etx20l duralast gold battery

I had many gold batteries for auto with no issues 5year battery. This one model must be a bad shipment. It left me stranded $170 tow within the first 3 months 50 miles away on a holiday at Walmart waiting till 4am in the morning 4 hrs. So I got a second one 8 months and it's the same for a HD dyna super glide EFI. $102.99 has cost me a lot from trusting your parts, I have been a loyal customer for years and quality has went down hill. Please give me a break here. #[protected] [protected]@gmail.com

AutoZone a return

I was making a return to my local autozone, which I visit very frequently. My wife had purchased the items and the mechanic told her she didn't need them. So I took them bk for her. She had already make a call to the store to let them know in advance that I was comin. I proceeded with my return as a sales rep helped me. She couldn't help me so I asked for the manager. I introduced my self to the manager and told him of my problem. He told me that he couldn't help me without a receipt. I asked him to look it up in the computer. He replied "I am not looking nothing up you need to leave". I was shocked to hear a manager tell me to leave the store because he was drinking coffee and didn't want to look for my receipt in the computer. Mr tullis did everything but call me the "n" word. I call corporate and left a vm on mr. Mckinser phone. I am so emotionally hurt and confused?... I did nothing but be a paying customer and I feel so discrimated against!.. I never felt so worthless and helpless in my life. He looked at me like I was nothing. He told me "get out of his store"!... Out of his store. I am so hurt by this man actions that I can't stop shaking. He discrimated against me because I am black and he was an older caucasian male. That's y he didn't want to help me. I feel that deep in my heart of hearts. Tell me what other reason I got put out of your store? What is the reason I couldn't be helped in the same store the items where bought from.

AutoZone store manager

Went to Auto Zone for taillights. Guy was eating behind counter. Never spoke. I handed him the old bulb. I told him back taillight. He looked at bulb. Ask what kind of vehicle. Got bulb, got home noticed it was the wrong bulb. Called store, explained what happened. This man starting screaming at me about what did tell the person I needed. I hung up and went back to store. Walked in and asked who answered the phone. Was told Darrel, the manager.

AutoZone tuner wheel lock kit

in july of 2017 I purchased tuner wheel lock kit for my new rims, yester day when I went to get a oil change & Payed extra for tire rotation the technician could not remove the wheels because the key was slipping, so I went into autozone to ask if they would open a package to give me a new key so I don't have to pay $150 to have them broken off & no one was even remotel interested in helping me they were rude & had no interest in keeping my future business by meeting me anywhere close to half way, all they had to do was open a $30 package & give me a new key & they would have kept a loyal $1000 a year customer but after the attitude & lack of interest in helping me they made a angry unsatisfied never again customer that will voice his opinion online & to friends & family. RIDICULOUS!

Why would you pay $150 to break the lug nuts off, when you could just buy a $30 package?

AutoZone tuner wheel lock kit #711-345 (m12-1.50)

My daughter needed her tires changed over but the stock Toyota lugs would not fit the new rims. So on 1/10/2018 I went to your Sega's Ma. Store #5129.
I bought the wheel locks named above foe a total cost of $35.05 including tax.
I went home and changed all her tires over, this was not an easy task as it was & degrees outside. On the last tire one of the wheel locks was not properly tapped. I drove the car back to the autozone store where I purchased item. I showed the store clerk the Item and asked him to replace just the 1 lock. He agreed with me that the lock was defective but gave me only one option, to return all the locks and get my money back. After all I had done I was not going to start over. I asked if he could just give me 1 lock. He refused unless I brought all back . I tried to buy a whole other set but there were not any more of this item available and none in any store close. I asked the store employee if he could simply just order me one and I would come back another day for it. This request was also denied.
I purchase over $1000.00 per year of auto parts and accessories as I own 4 cars. After this experience auto zone will be off my list of stores I shop unless you can rectify my issue.

My battery was always covered with the extra plastic cover and I had plastic covers on the top posts. ~the returned battery is dusty and a faded label.
The returned battery has a dead cell not chargeable. ~My battery was able to be jump started with a portable power bank.

AutoZone horrible service/disrespectful store associate

On Friday January 12, 2018 at 8:45PM

I rushed to the nearest Autozone store to get a code reading that turned on my service engine light. The Autozone I visted was located infront of the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers Massachusetts! 151 Endicott st Danvers, Ma 01923 to be exact.

Upon arrival the time was exactly 8:48PM which is 12 minutes of the store closing time 9:00PM. I walk in and Dlyen P. (Parts sales Manager) with a frusturaded time he greeted me by saying we are closing in 5 mins.

I sympathised and stated this is urgent I only need to know the code that is causing my engine light to turn on. He turned towards me, away from the customer he was attending and with very arrogant look in his face from smiling to angery he stated we arent offering this service now!

I stated I know how to use the device and he could hold on to my drivers license. As usual all the guys know me and I'm a regural. He raised his voice at me and said NO, i responded by telling him not to speak to me in this matter. He turned away and countined to speak with the customer as if i wasnt there.

I asked if he was seriouse with the actions he is taking. He stated could you leave we are closing which wasnt true as one rep was outside helping a customer and him speaking to another. I asked him his name he turned his badge towards me and said gladly.

I have been going to that autozone since I was in highshool I fixed all my cars and all family members cars there through out the years. By far this was the worst experience I ever had in any store I have ever been too.

This is my first time ever complaining to a company about an employee or service! Because im always polite and respectful towards everyone that is working in the service industry due my personal career revolves around customer service.

This person should be terminated or closely monitored after corrective action has taken place. Because this is the type of people that give great companies bad name.

His name is Dylan P. His title is (Parts sales Manager) Autozone store location 151 Endicott st Danvers, Ma 01923
