This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I recently (November 27th) attempted to have a recall issue resolved at this location. I've had work done at this location in the past and the first time went pretty well. The last two times have shown a severe decline in customer service. First of all, for some reason they have my F-150 listed under my wife's name. I've asked them many times to change it...

AutoNation sales

My name is Anthony Palmieri. My telephone number is . I was interested in a 2010 Ford Focus, whicjh I saw on sale at your Chrysler Jeep Ram dealership in Littleton Colorado, from Car Gurus.
I inquired about the vehicle and got an email response from a guy name Revere, who asked me if I wanted to take it for a test drive this week- which was good, but it went down from here!
I called the next day and reached the receptionist at the dealership in Littleton, who could hardly speak because of a cold. She said she was transferring me over to Revere, but dropped the call. Later, I sent a reply email to Revere to tell him that the call had been dropped and to contact me himself. Instead, Mallory, a sales manager sent me an email apologizing. In her email she said that she would be happy to help me. This is when it gets bad..
I left a voice message with Mallory, which she never returned. I then called her directly and she answered. Mallory said she forgot about sending me the email and really had a hard time establishing a good phone relationship. I remember everytime I asked her a question about the vehicle I wanted to buy, she seemed nervous and in a rush. Worst thing bout our conversation was that she couldn't answer even the simplest question about the Ford Focus hybrid. Finally, Mallory brushed me aside and said she would get the answers and call me back. She never did, but I did get a text from a guy named Tyler? He said he probably didn't know either! Boy I am pissed!

AutoNation gap insurance

DO NOT purchase Autonation gap insurance!
When I purchased my vehicle (2010 Lincoln MKT), I purchsed the Autonation gap (Safe-Guard) insurance for $599 because I was told it would cover any amount not paid by my primary insurance. That was a lie. When my vehicle was totaled in an accident, my primary insurance (Progressive) paid the value of my vehicle leaving a balance of $634. Autonation (Safe-Guard) paid $290 stating 'it was because Progressive estimated the the vehicle $700 less then it's value'. WTF! Remember, I paid $599 for gap. So, not only did gap not pay the balance of $634 (just think if it would have been more), they didn't even notify me that I still had a remaining balance. All their website told me was that claim had been completed. It wasn't until the bank contacted me, after my account was 30 days past due (which now shows on my credit report), that I found out Autonation (Safe-Guard) gap insurance did not pay in full. DO NOT Purchase through this company. Your bank/lien holder will also offer gap insurance.

I'm in the process of having Auto Nation service my policy as my car was totalled in March of 2019. As I read all of the nightmare stories about all of the sleezy business practices of Auto Nation, it looks like a check list of a thousand ways that the insurance companies have been pulling on me. They are stalling and waiting until the 90 day period is up . Then they dont have to pay me a dime and I will be out over 6k. And I will have to keep making payments on a car that is long gone for the next several years.

AutoNation piston rings in 2014

I think it's ridiculous that you be cold all the way up to 2013 Honda Odyssey‘s for the piston rings this is an expensive recall gosh you all the way up to $3800 and my 2014 is having the same problem we called all the other on this floor and sitting there saying on the 14th don't have a problem yes the 14th does have a [censored]ing problem and have been so you know what I could care less if you were off warranty I could care less how many miles you have on your car the 2014 Honda should be taken care of and I think it's ridiculous that you just telling customers your problem and saying oh well you got to go pay three grand for your 2014 I will never buy another Honda again and if I have to take this all the way to court I will !

AutoNation dealer sold a lemon/lied about carfax

I bought a car from AutoNation in [protected]. it is a 2010 Audi Q5 prestige, it is supposed to be the top-of-the-line vehicle. The finance officer assistant that I get the warranty for this vehicle, it was expensive to repair. I now know why he kept pushing warranty. This vehicle has been a nightmare. The Carfax stated that it had been in a minor accident. The vehicle has been in the shop more than six times in the last 2 years. They have replaced ball joints, U-joints, tire rods, gas filter sensors, front wheel bearings, brakes and rotors, suspension bar, they now say I need shocks and structs, and I had to purchase 4 new tires because of the bent frame. I just dropped the vehicle off this afternoon again for service. I did some research on the vehicle only to find out that It had been in a major accident it had been rear-ended from the back and hit in the front the vehicle was towed from the site and was deemed non-drivable. The Carfax that was given to me again stated it had been in a minor Collision. It rains in the front of the vehicle on the passenger side, the rain has caused the shade to droop and we had to remove it, the sunshade is now under recall but the car is not one that is listed for the service. The air condition heater blowing fan has gone out the navigation system and the electrical components are not working, the rear backup camera and all the other accessories along with the media and Bluetooth do not work or stop at random. The vehicle apparently has been so damaged that when the rain came down inside the vehicle it expanded and the windshield at the top seal and it cracked. Even though I purchased the extended warranty it has cost me a fortune for the repairs on this vehicle I believe AutoNation knew that this vehicle should have been salvaged and they did minor repairs just enough to catch a fool like me who came by and bought it. I am stuck for the next two and a half years almost $600 a month for a luxury vehicle that is a piece of junk. I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have contacted Audi Nation and they suggested that I contact the dealership. Well with my luck that dealership is no longer open. The vehicle does not qualify for the Lemon Law in Texas because I have had it for more than 24 months and have driven more than 24000 miles. I recommend no one buy a vehicle from Auto Nation without doing your homework. they will give you a Carfax the does not state the correct information, and I am wondering if that is against the law. Since the car had to be towed from the accident scene because of the extensive damage I wonder if the insurance company wrote it off as a total loss. I don't know how to go about searching for it. I found the information about the accident on the highway department website, just go in and enter the VIN number and it will pull up the accident and the damage. The Sales manager Audi Dallas, suggest that I get an attorney to fight this issue. That would be a great idea but I am disabled on a fixed income I cannot afford a high-priced attorney. If anyone out there knows a way that I can get out of this contract please contact me.

I have just been informed by Audi Dealership the AC/Heater and blower motor needs to be replaced. This part is not covered under the high price warranty I have paid for. The total cost to fix all is going to be about 5000.00+ dollars. I have contacted Autonation several times with no response. They are A rated with the BBB. For a company with an A rating, why will you not respond to your customers? Now I will have to go thru the winter months without a heater and summer without AC in a luxury vehicle.

AutoNation service department

On 10/26 I picked up the vehicle from the service department. The same vehicle that according the the mechanic has no issues. Within miles of leaving the dealership. The clutch started slipping and making squealing sounds. On 10/16 the car was dropped off with 53, 842 miles running perfectly fine beside the ac not blowing cold and a minor oil leak. On 10/24 I was notified the car was complete and I came to pick up the vehicle. Upon picking it up I noticed the car had 53, 853 miles on it. As I was leaving the dealership. Right away I noticed issues with the cars rpms spiking when in gear. The car was left on e with 8 miles till Empty, so I drove to the gas station and right back to the dealer. I asked to speak to the mechanic and was turned away saying to run the car more that is what the smell is. The next day I returned with the car due to the issue as well as the coolant that was all over the engine bay,  I explained the issue they took the car in to be checked. Today 10/26 I was notified the car was complete and had no issues, just to find out otherwise upon pickup. The dealership in the service director Shansi have been absolutely no help and are trying to push the blame upon me. The issue is plain and simple the car came in working fine and left with clutch issues and 11 additional miles that they cannot explain. There is no documentation by them that the car came with this issue.

AutoNation range rover purchased in mt. kisco, ny

In August 2015 I purchased a Range Rover for my daughter. We are beyond dissatisfied with the car and more so with the treatment from the dealership and Land Rover Manufacturer. The car has not worked correctly since purchase and has been in the shop over 7 x's for the same issue. They laugh at me and hide when I appear to discuss some kind of compensation or exchange. My daughter drove the car and it is dangerous. Randy Irwin, the Manager in MT Kisco Land Rover keeps telling us the car is fixed however it breaks down, heaves and all the electrical would go fire off but they continue to give it back broken then apologizes and tells us he will call someone else who can perhaps fix it. How can a company, owned by a public company, AutoNation, treat clients this way with no regard for safety or fairness. My daughter is 19 years old so she is not legal to drive the loaner. We spent all that we had after saving for years for this special gift. I have been pushed around from auto nations customer service and the management from auto nation refuses to get on the phone. Perhaps CNBC should interview some of the customers. If anyone can possibly help it would be nothing short of a miracle. And please, telling us that we can trade in the car without any subsidy.. or financial contribution would not be helpful. We are only asking for a fair deal although after the hell we have been put through we deserve a brand new vehicle and then some. Brigid at Land Rover Corp in NJ told me that the car now has 50, 006 miles on it and as a result will not honor the warranty or a trade in. I told her in has been in the dealership over 7xs for the same item begining from three months after I purchased it and the dealership has driven the car more than we have. She laughed and said they will not honor anything. PLEASE HELP ANYONE. MY VIN# is # SALWR2TF5FA542072.

AutoNation refunds

I purchased my new RAM on February 14th, 2018. Autonation did not pay off my previous loan until 2 months later. That resulted in 60 days past due on my credit. I have been attempting to repair my credit rating every since then.

I sent the "Payoff Letter" to Autonation to receive a refund for my warranty and GAP insurance on July 8th, 2018. 5 days later, Autonation incorrectly sent my refunds to Regions Bank. Regions Bank did not cash those refunds and instructed Autonation to stop pay and re-issue those checks to me, as there was no lien.

I inquired about this for months and finally went to the dealership to seek management for an answer on September 13th, 2018. I was told that the request to re-issue those checks to me were completed on that day. It has been 46 days and the manager, says that he doesn't have an answer and forwarded the request to corporate.

Lastly, because of the length of time it took Autonation to payoff my previous loan, other lines of credit have been affected. I the manager to provide me with the name or department I need to request a refund on the 2 accessories I purchased in my new loan and have not received. A lift kit & a set of tires. He has failed to provide any information about that.

The total amount of the warranty refunds and accessories that I no longer want is over $5k. I'm asking for the money that I have paid and Autonation is holding. This has been going on for 8 months and I have run out of patience. The lack of ability for Autonation Dodge - North Richland Hills to provide any level of customer service is beyond belief.

AutoNation 2010 mini cooper

I should known that after I bought my Mini Cooper at Lexus of Tampa aka Autonation when they handed me the keys, the car wouldn't start, I should have given them back the keys. They say they perform these tests and they didn't even check the battery? That was just the start (forgive the pun). The list goes on and on, here's the best one...It has a blown engine, yes white smoke coming out of the back of the car, sales said not to worry it's just an additive and will stop soon as it burns off. Needless to say I lost confadence in Lexus of Tampa. I took it to another Autonation dealership. For the last seven days they have been at it, now they are going to have to break down the engine perhaps to the pistons and rings. This is why I say: RUN FAST don't walk past this dealership they are the "Poster Boys" for sleazy used car sales.

AutoNation closing autonation mitsubishi in spokane wa

I can't believe the hungry greedy corporate office that closed auto nation mitsubishi in Spokane WA. I spent $30K for a car that I was told that if I need to get my car fixed, I would have to travel 500 miles. Other Mitsubishi owners will have to as well. Yes, we can get oil changes and light maintenance, but anything else we have to travel. There are no other Mitsubishi dealers East of Kennewick or in Western Idaho. So much for customer loyalty. Maybe auto nation would pay me to tow my car that far. Maybe pay me for the time off from work to do this.

I will no longer be associated with auto nation. As soon as I find a vehicle, it will not be with any auto nation dealer. I will make sure to tell every Mitsubishi owner the same.

AutoNation 2012 ford fusion

I recently purchased a car from auto nation with the A/C not blowin cool air and it came with limits such as I'm not able to drive over 80mph and my radio was set to not be turned up all the way When I told my sale man he told me that I would have to pay for it out my pocket because I drove off the lot already, but let me remind you that the day I purchase the car they notice my right head light was out and they said they would fix it so they put me in a loner car for 6 days. So I never seen my car or got in to see what's all wrong. When my car was ready to pick up I went to pick it up and found all the problems no later then 15 min of driving I called my sales man and told him everything I notice that's wrong. He denyed everything and told me I had to come out of pocket for everything that's wrong because I drove off the lot already I didn't think that was fair because I told him soon as I drove off he didn't let me speak to a manager or anything he told me there's nothing he can do he just sold me the car. I talked to the used car manager there they we're denying everything thing again so I reached out to Autonation headquarters for help. I felt that the situation was not handled professionally and there was some under the table thing going on because when I went to up Autonation to complain and ask to speak to manager no one wanted to speak kept telling me they couldn't help me and left me sitting there for hours without anyone addressing me. Please contact me back I need help with the situation at [protected]

AutoNation car

Hi,
Let me present myself: Born and raised in France, I relocated 13 years ago in the US. I got my US citizenship but still have the "froggy" French accent.
I then gave 6 years of my life to the Country ad a public servant (Correctional Officer and Deputy Sheriff).
I was interested in a 2006 BMW M5 (at Autonation Toyota Tempe AZ).
I had been in contact for over 2 weeks proposing offers on the supposed fixed price of $13900 (I had proposed $12800, then $12500)
Yesterday, suddenly the price dropped at $10900! I reserved the vehicle immediately.
Today I went to see the car and they told me it was sold...Weird, such a drop in price and bam immediately sold.
I showed them the reservation email and they suddey were embarrassed. I asked to talk to the Supervisor of the Toyota Employee Carlos.
A Lady Employee told me it was sold to a father of a 21 years old.
I asked to talk to a Supervisor. The Supervisor Mike Farrell and the Lady who had sold the car spoke together. Someone had allegedly bought the car under condition that spark plugs be fixed but didn't pay or financed it, therefore the Supervisor informed the Lady that it was not sold, and that I could buy it but that the car was being fixed at BMW. They even tell me: "congratulations for your new car".
When it was time to finance the car I was oriented to Carlos to take care of the transaction: for some reason they needed to repeat to me that he is the best (2 weeks ago he had refused to sell me the car at $12800...).
While we are talking talking, the Lady stopped by and told Carlos something like "Travis should have paid" (like if he was an employee or a friend) and she add: " I habe had it with this car!" And she left...
Carlos checked my credit score and tells me that with my credit and my negative equity on my trade in they cannot sale the car to me.
He then shows my my 3 credit scores they printed which don't match the official Equifax/Transunion/ Experian numbers: their scores showed 574 for 3 bureaus. I showed them the true scores (635 for all) by going directly on the Official Bureaus websites (Equifax, etc...). Silence.
Then I get to speak again to Mr Farrell who start to tell me they habe to go by the score they got.
I showed him the official scores documents. SIilence.
Then he bounces back and explain to me the difference between those score and Fico Auto Score. I told him that I know the difference but that the scores don't match for the 3 bureau and that my FICO auto score 8 is 594.
Now it's sorry we don't sell it without down payment if auto score under 600...The explanation keeps changing...
Then he needs to add that the bank I put down would never finance me if I apply for a vehicle.
Unluckily for them, I tell them they are the ones actually financing my current car...Another guy coming from nowhere starts to interrupt me when I was even not talking to him!
Now he is telling me that the 3 bureau scores (Equifax, etc...) are my auto FICO score which they are not since his colleague just gave me another auto score calling it clearly fico auto score with a different number way lower thant 594 (he refused to show me the number or leave the papers)...
Explainations keep changing.
Now I have 2 guys interrupting me constantly talking to me with an exaggerated articulation and loudly like if I don't speak or understand English.
I finally tell them: "ok, I understand what you said and anyway Carlos told me clearly that you couldn't sell me the car.
Carlos then lying in my face tells me that he didn't say that! Unbelievable.
Mike Farrell then tells me that's not true, that we can try another bank! Well, why as ll this crap then?!
Then he suddenly looked at me with an aggressive look and tell me with a very cold voice, stopping the conversation, :"ok, now have a good day, waiting for me to leave. I get it: if I don't leave I have to expect police!
I left, after being belittled, feeling lied to, cheated on, taken for an idiot and discriminated.
It looks like an employee wanted to buy the car at a lower price and they managed to do an illegal sell, by suddenly loweing the price and also broke your no haggle policy and sold it as a way lesser price $2500 less than my offer before even lowering officially the price!).
Well, you got the story.
That's stories like that which affect Toyota reputation and discredits car salesmen.
This is unacceptable.
Let ne know if you can do anything, or please transmit higher my complaint.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Emmanuel Cave

AutoNation sexually harassed by employee

I contacted this company via Online-Chat and was connected with an Ecommerce Specialist named Nathan Trean. He took my name and information and said he would get back to me. Now I started getting phone calls from him saying he could find me a car if I would go out to dinner with him on a date. I'm married, so I declined and told him never to call back. Three days later the same guy Nathan Trean he calls me while he is drunk and starts saying how he want to have sex with. He still says hot I am and then proceeds to tell me that I "need to learn how to get [censored]ed right", and that his "dick is a gift for all women to share". Of course I hung up and blocked his number, but he keeps calling from different phone numbers and leaving these very violently sexual aggressive and explicit messages on my voicemail. He text me this morning and gave me his address from a different phone number. The text message say "Cum by if you need my big dick piped out your pussy".

AutoNation lousy service at autonation chevrolet doral

We bought vehicle protection plan for our Ford Transit, cost of $2, 500 which includes 4 vehicle services. We made a 10:30 am appointment to bring the car in for service and on arrival, first we were told they do not do this kind of service. Subsequent check around, they said yes, but it will be 5 hours instead of the 2 hours as advised on the phone because they don't have the lifter and parts. They provide courtesy service to drive their clients back, and our driver has to wait till their driver to return. After waiting for few hours, at 1:11 pm, Autonation driver returned but told our driver that he has to wait for him to take his lunch. At 2:13 pm, our driver is still waiting and we called and have to leave voicemail to the Service Manager, Ronmar Obregon. He called back 2:38pm, we provided details and at 2:46pm, he called to advise the our truck is finally ready. Our driver finally got the car at 3:00pm.

Autonation wasted our driver's time had they not advised that their driver will take this long.

(1) Autonation's employee not properly trained to know what kind of service they provide.

(2) When we made the appointment on 10/10/18 to bring car in 10/17/18, we provided the Vin# and as such, the service department should make arrangement to ensure all necessary parts are available. Otherwise, why go through the hassle to make appointment

(3) If the courtesy van is not available, by all means communicate with your customer, instead of making them wait or provide other options

(4) Autonation's driver upon return told our driver to wait till he finishes lunch. While we understand that he needs to take his lunch, but our driver has been waiting there since 10:30am till 1:11pm, he TOO needs to take lunch. Alternative Autonation driver could have been arranged to drive our driver back then.

This is our first experience with Autonation Service and we did not expect this kind of service or absence of service.

Please advise if we can have refund of the vehicle protection plan as we are really not satisfied!

AutoNation awful service department and gm manager

I call to schedule my first service appointment at the dealer where I purchased my car new car 2 weeks ago for 8/21/2018 and they don't ask what's the reason for my visit.
So I walk in and I wait about 20 min for someone to come in and help me. (FYI no lines of cars waiting to be serviced) The reason for my visit was because the bottom rubber parts of the front windshield were coming off and based on the fact from my sales person this was a common error on the new 2018 sienna.
So, SERVICE DEPARTMENT tells me that they have to order the parts because they don't keep in stock ask me to come back the next day. They said that they need the VIN number of the car and see the actual problem. OK! I get that. But wouldn't it save time to them or me if they would have just asked me why I'm coming and get the info prior my visit? They think that because they are working other people don't? or think that because people go to dealers to get serviced they have time to spare? So I leave really really upset and I scheduled my following visit for a month later because i had to leave town. (9/29/2018) During that time I got an e-mail from the dealer asking me if I had any issues during my visit so I explained but nobody replied to me. I let go... I get 2 e-mails with a appointment reminder and I arrive 20 prior my appointment time and to I drive in, wait in the lobby for 1:40 min and they end up telling me they don't have the parts! so I told them several times my parts where ordered over a month ago and I even pointed at the person that took my order and just ignored. What the hell were they doing in 1:40? I had two of my kids frustrated wanting to go home. so the service manager comes and asks me to wait a little longer. he would send someone to get one of the parts from another dealer.
So I leave the dealer with all parts fixed around 12.
Days later I got a phone call AGAIN asking me if I had any issues. So I tell her. why would you bother asking if you don't care? I e-mailed my issues and nobody replied back. I would never go back to that place. and she didn't even bother asking me why and just said. Ok. have a good evening.
so I posted the review in google and the dealer replies back with their apologies and writes their phone number asking to contact the GM. I call him and 3 days. NO CALL BACK.
Soon, I have to purchase another car and we were thinking of TOYOTA. but I would think again of going to AUTONATION.

AutoNation purchased a vehicle with safety issues and broken fob key

I purchased a 2009 Lexus es 350 from AutoNation Brooksville. I test drove the car and it wobbled. The salesman Travis wine said it was how the roads we're paved and he gets the same complaint during test drives. I then drove the car home 4 hours away and the wobbling got worse. I took it to AutoNation Toyota and they said that the front axles were bad and needs replacing. Travis assured me that the car was fully inspected and everything was fine. Today I took the tape off the key. I figured it was taped to keep the paper tag in place but when I removed the tape the key came apart in 2 pieces! Now no one will contact me in regards to correcting the issue. I purchased the car on September 25th. It's only been 13 days. I should not have to go through this. I use the car to drive my son around daily. I need these issues corrected.

AutoNation sales

This individual would. To take and look at my trade in before running my credit, or seeing if there was a. Vehicle that a deal could be made on, all it was to him was run his credit if it ain't high enough then send him on his way we don't have time to deal with him. He came out and finally talked to me, then sent another salesman to tell me to give him 72 hours before I hear from him. A brush off could not be plainer than that. And I even had a friend that planned to come In This week and pay cash for a 4x4 pickup, but even he feels now I was give. The brush off, this friend even told my salelady Erin, he would come in and already had bank approval of 55 thousand for the vehicle he wanted, I have no ideal if he will now, he did not like the way I was treated. I do t either, I prefer just being told No, we can't do anything for you, just leave, that is more direct.wont check back with them in the 72 hours, will still keep looking.
