AutoNation car

Hi,
Let me present myself: Born and raised in France, I relocated 13 years ago in the US. I got my US citizenship but still have the "froggy" French accent.
I then gave 6 years of my life to the Country ad a public servant (Correctional Officer and Deputy Sheriff).
I was interested in a 2006 BMW M5 (at Autonation Toyota Tempe AZ).
I had been in contact for over 2 weeks proposing offers on the supposed fixed price of $13900 (I had proposed $12800, then $12500)
Yesterday, suddenly the price dropped at $10900! I reserved the vehicle immediately.
Today I went to see the car and they told me it was sold...Weird, such a drop in price and bam immediately sold.
I showed them the reservation email and they suddey were embarrassed. I asked to talk to the Supervisor of the Toyota Employee Carlos.
A Lady Employee told me it was sold to a father of a 21 years old.
I asked to talk to a Supervisor. The Supervisor Mike Farrell and the Lady who had sold the car spoke together. Someone had allegedly bought the car under condition that spark plugs be fixed but didn't pay or financed it, therefore the Supervisor informed the Lady that it was not sold, and that I could buy it but that the car was being fixed at BMW. They even tell me: "congratulations for your new car".
When it was time to finance the car I was oriented to Carlos to take care of the transaction: for some reason they needed to repeat to me that he is the best (2 weeks ago he had refused to sell me the car at $12800...).
While we are talking talking, the Lady stopped by and told Carlos something like "Travis should have paid" (like if he was an employee or a friend) and she add: " I habe had it with this car!" And she left...
Carlos checked my credit score and tells me that with my credit and my negative equity on my trade in they cannot sale the car to me.
He then shows my my 3 credit scores they printed which don't match the official Equifax/Transunion/ Experian numbers: their scores showed 574 for 3 bureaus. I showed them the true scores (635 for all) by going directly on the Official Bureaus websites (Equifax, etc...). Silence.
Then I get to speak again to Mr Farrell who start to tell me they habe to go by the score they got.
I showed him the official scores documents. SIilence.
Then he bounces back and explain to me the difference between those score and Fico Auto Score. I told him that I know the difference but that the scores don't match for the 3 bureau and that my FICO auto score 8 is 594.
Now it's sorry we don't sell it without down payment if auto score under 600...The explanation keeps changing...
Then he needs to add that the bank I put down would never finance me if I apply for a vehicle.
Unluckily for them, I tell them they are the ones actually financing my current car...Another guy coming from nowhere starts to interrupt me when I was even not talking to him!
Now he is telling me that the 3 bureau scores (Equifax, etc...) are my auto FICO score which they are not since his colleague just gave me another auto score calling it clearly fico auto score with a different number way lower thant 594 (he refused to show me the number or leave the papers)...
Explainations keep changing.
Now I have 2 guys interrupting me constantly talking to me with an exaggerated articulation and loudly like if I don't speak or understand English.
I finally tell them: "ok, I understand what you said and anyway Carlos told me clearly that you couldn't sell me the car.
Carlos then lying in my face tells me that he didn't say that! Unbelievable.
Mike Farrell then tells me that's not true, that we can try another bank! Well, why as ll this crap then?!
Then he suddenly looked at me with an aggressive look and tell me with a very cold voice, stopping the conversation, :"ok, now have a good day, waiting for me to leave. I get it: if I don't leave I have to expect police!
I left, after being belittled, feeling lied to, cheated on, taken for an idiot and discriminated.
It looks like an employee wanted to buy the car at a lower price and they managed to do an illegal sell, by suddenly loweing the price and also broke your no haggle policy and sold it as a way lesser price $2500 less than my offer before even lowering officially the price!).
Well, you got the story.
That's stories like that which affect Toyota reputation and discredits car salesmen.
This is unacceptable.
Let ne know if you can do anything, or please transmit higher my complaint.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Emmanuel Cave

AutoNation sexually harassed by employee

I contacted this company via Online-Chat and was connected with an Ecommerce Specialist named Nathan Trean. He took my name and information and said he would get back to me. Now I started getting phone calls from him saying he could find me a car if I would go out to dinner with him on a date. I'm married, so I declined and told him never to call back. Three days later the same guy Nathan Trean he calls me while he is drunk and starts saying how he want to have sex with. He still says hot I am and then proceeds to tell me that I "need to learn how to get [censored]ed right", and that his "dick is a gift for all women to share". Of course I hung up and blocked his number, but he keeps calling from different phone numbers and leaving these very violently sexual aggressive and explicit messages on my voicemail. He text me this morning and gave me his address from a different phone number. The text message say "Cum by if you need my big dick piped out your pussy".

AutoNation lousy service at autonation chevrolet doral

We bought vehicle protection plan for our Ford Transit, cost of $2, 500 which includes 4 vehicle services. We made a 10:30 am appointment to bring the car in for service and on arrival, first we were told they do not do this kind of service. Subsequent check around, they said yes, but it will be 5 hours instead of the 2 hours as advised on the phone because they don't have the lifter and parts. They provide courtesy service to drive their clients back, and our driver has to wait till their driver to return. After waiting for few hours, at 1:11 pm, Autonation driver returned but told our driver that he has to wait for him to take his lunch. At 2:13 pm, our driver is still waiting and we called and have to leave voicemail to the Service Manager, Ronmar Obregon. He called back 2:38pm, we provided details and at 2:46pm, he called to advise the our truck is finally ready. Our driver finally got the car at 3:00pm.

Autonation wasted our driver's time had they not advised that their driver will take this long.

(1) Autonation's employee not properly trained to know what kind of service they provide.

(2) When we made the appointment on 10/10/18 to bring car in 10/17/18, we provided the Vin# and as such, the service department should make arrangement to ensure all necessary parts are available. Otherwise, why go through the hassle to make appointment

(3) If the courtesy van is not available, by all means communicate with your customer, instead of making them wait or provide other options

(4) Autonation's driver upon return told our driver to wait till he finishes lunch. While we understand that he needs to take his lunch, but our driver has been waiting there since 10:30am till 1:11pm, he TOO needs to take lunch. Alternative Autonation driver could have been arranged to drive our driver back then.

This is our first experience with Autonation Service and we did not expect this kind of service or absence of service.

Please advise if we can have refund of the vehicle protection plan as we are really not satisfied!

AutoNation awful service department and gm manager

I call to schedule my first service appointment at the dealer where I purchased my car new car 2 weeks ago for 8/21/2018 and they don't ask what's the reason for my visit.
So I walk in and I wait about 20 min for someone to come in and help me. (FYI no lines of cars waiting to be serviced) The reason for my visit was because the bottom rubber parts of the front windshield were coming off and based on the fact from my sales person this was a common error on the new 2018 sienna.
So, SERVICE DEPARTMENT tells me that they have to order the parts because they don't keep in stock ask me to come back the next day. They said that they need the VIN number of the car and see the actual problem. OK! I get that. But wouldn't it save time to them or me if they would have just asked me why I'm coming and get the info prior my visit? They think that because they are working other people don't? or think that because people go to dealers to get serviced they have time to spare? So I leave really really upset and I scheduled my following visit for a month later because i had to leave town. (9/29/2018) During that time I got an e-mail from the dealer asking me if I had any issues during my visit so I explained but nobody replied to me. I let go... I get 2 e-mails with a appointment reminder and I arrive 20 prior my appointment time and to I drive in, wait in the lobby for 1:40 min and they end up telling me they don't have the parts! so I told them several times my parts where ordered over a month ago and I even pointed at the person that took my order and just ignored. What the hell were they doing in 1:40? I had two of my kids frustrated wanting to go home. so the service manager comes and asks me to wait a little longer. he would send someone to get one of the parts from another dealer.
So I leave the dealer with all parts fixed around 12.
Days later I got a phone call AGAIN asking me if I had any issues. So I tell her. why would you bother asking if you don't care? I e-mailed my issues and nobody replied back. I would never go back to that place. and she didn't even bother asking me why and just said. Ok. have a good evening.
so I posted the review in google and the dealer replies back with their apologies and writes their phone number asking to contact the GM. I call him and 3 days. NO CALL BACK.
Soon, I have to purchase another car and we were thinking of TOYOTA. but I would think again of going to AUTONATION.

AutoNation 2017 honda crv

I purchased a 2017 Honda CRV with hail damage at your Westminster, CO location on July 21, 2018 and have a written promise from the dealer to have the hail damage on the vehicle repaired. They scheduled to have the vehicle brought in on July 31, 2018 and was unable to repair the vehicle at this time. I have made 16 phone calls to the dealership and have not had any results. Please assist with this issue so that I do not have to involve a lawyer to get this taken care of.

AutoNation purchased a vehicle with safety issues and broken fob key

I purchased a 2009 Lexus es 350 from AutoNation Brooksville. I test drove the car and it wobbled. The salesman Travis wine said it was how the roads we're paved and he gets the same complaint during test drives. I then drove the car home 4 hours away and the wobbling got worse. I took it to AutoNation Toyota and they said that the front axles were bad and needs replacing. Travis assured me that the car was fully inspected and everything was fine. Today I took the tape off the key. I figured it was taped to keep the paper tag in place but when I removed the tape the key came apart in 2 pieces! Now no one will contact me in regards to correcting the issue. I purchased the car on September 25th. It's only been 13 days. I should not have to go through this. I use the car to drive my son around daily. I need these issues corrected.

AutoNation sales

This individual would. To take and look at my trade in before running my credit, or seeing if there was a. Vehicle that a deal could be made on, all it was to him was run his credit if it ain't high enough then send him on his way we don't have time to deal with him. He came out and finally talked to me, then sent another salesman to tell me to give him 72 hours before I hear from him. A brush off could not be plainer than that. And I even had a friend that planned to come In This week and pay cash for a 4x4 pickup, but even he feels now I was give. The brush off, this friend even told my salelady Erin, he would come in and already had bank approval of 55 thousand for the vehicle he wanted, I have no ideal if he will now, he did not like the way I was treated. I do t either, I prefer just being told No, we can't do anything for you, just leave, that is more direct.wont check back with them in the 72 hours, will still keep looking.

AutoNation battery replacement recall

I brought my car to Autonation Nissan Pembroke Pines for an oil change and was told my battery had a recall and needed to be replaced under warranty. However there was going to be a $39.99 charge to clean the battery terminals. My question to the service advisor was: if you're already removing the battery and disconnecting the terminals what is the extra charge for? Well apparently they sell a cleaning kit for $40. Looks to me like it's just another way to get more money out of customers.
They also wanted another $40 for a $15 air filter.

AutoNation the vehicle

Hello my name is vincent long.
[protected]@me.com
[protected]

i'm a avid jeep lover and a huge fan. I also serve government security contracts and at night I serve as a night supervisor for a big team...

I sold a 2017 jeep to auto nation. we bought a used jeep wrangler which was the model that we've always wanted and definitely fit our lifestyle. we had an uncomfortable experience buying the vehicle while missing some major steps. we truly feel horrible and out of luck. I will list in simple format.
pushy customer service
extremely long hours of waiting
was never offered a test drive of the vehicle
was sold the vehicle was in great shape
also there was two recalls on the jeep they were able to fix one but the other one is a major one that includes airbag safety. we are not sure how that got approved.
I was given a list of items that was done to the jeep including and oil change. immediately after having the vehicle I was notified that it will change was needed I want to pep boys and conducted an oil change and ask for their feedback about the oil and it was not in good shape
The vehicles alignment is forever crooked, which I have documents on for the oil change the membership to pep boys for lifetime alignment which I will need often. do you have everything on file.
We feel like the vehicle is not up to standards with safety protocols
we absolutely love the vehicle and love the jeep wrangler brand we pulled over $30, 000 to buy this jeep and it's truly looking like an unfair and on safe deal. we are just worried about our safety and our family. I will be happy to scan over my credentials for credibility and anything else for transparency. we just want to be taken care of and the jeep family
please reach out anytime as I have all the scanned documents and information.

AutoNation financing department dealership and service

AutoNation,
I am writing this complaint to inform you that we have had the worse service from any car dealership with your Chevy AutoNation in Valencia CA on Creekside Ave.
We went to purchase a simple used car for our son in April 2018. We settled on a Chevy Malibu with approximately 90, 000 miles on it. Our son could not qualify on his own so I, (his mother) cosigned with him. There was nothing but finance issues from the moment we left. The finance department did the paperwork, we put 2500 down and purchased the extended warranty. Purchase price would be about 9000.00 and finance would be about 6500. Once we let the dealership with our signed papers and satisfied with the terms we thought all was good. First payment would be due May 4, 2018.
Fast forward to April 29, I contacted the dealership to inform them we have not received any information on the financing for the Malibu. I was told Chase was financing the car and it would be coming any day. May 4th comes and goes no
information from Chase. I call Chase bank and they have no record of the financing.
Months of no return calls from the Finance Depart. General Manager no help we finally get the financing ( August 2018) without the extended warranty. Guess it was to old of a car to have that amount financed. Humm isn't this something the finance department should have known? Why did I not receive return phone calls on this matter. Why could the GM not be more helpful? Horrible service with this dealership. I will not ever recommend them and will purchase outside of Valencia for my Chevy Colorado. The service department treated our son like he was some "stupid" young man and in fact he is very savvy and mechanically include. Be careful Chevy you never know who knows what information. Don't lie about needed.
service. This was the most horrible experience of buying a car and to be a first time buyer at that for our son. We will now never use AutoNation for our purchases. There is an old true saying beware of a deal to good to be true then it probably is.

AutoNation purchased a vehicle from autonation and received a recall notice over the past three years

I have tried to contact the dealership service department to no avail. My recall information has been sent from Lincoln three different times over the past three years. I have tried to contact the dealer in Clearwater Florida with zero explanation. I understand the vehicle is unsafe for people to ride in the passenger side of the vehicle.
My name is William Zahrte, 7252 Montage Ave, New Port Richey, Florida 34653. My phone number is (Cell) 727.644.5609 My email is [protected]@wrzemail.com the customer number is 3MEHMOZ89R618379.

According to the last notice from Lincoln / Ford Motor Co. they want me to rent a vehicle until the parts are available, which may be never. I think Ford Motor Company should replace the vehicle. If it is unsafe to drive it certainly not my fault. I have tried contacting AutoNation in Clearwater with zero interest with my concern

AutoNation fraud purchase

My name is Brent David — on April 2018 I bought a 2017 BMW 430i convertible. At the time I was told this was a 1 owner car. The car had significant mileage on it (34000+) and when I asked about the mileage, I was told that the car was owned by a family and that the man travelled a lot for business. I asked to see a car fax, which was shown to me, and there was no "red flag" on the carfax, so I went forward and bought the car. IT DID NOT SAY THE OWNER OR CAR WAS USING IT FOR RENTAL.

Last week I tried to sell the car, and much to my surprise, I was told that I bought a RENTAL CAR from you, making the resale value MUCH MUCH less, than what I would have expected.

Because of this, I am looking to cancel this contract and return the car to you (or resell it back, at the price paid - $1000 for the 1000 miles I put on the car since purchasing it — please contact me IMMEDIATELY at [protected] to discuss this situation.

If you do not respond, I will contact attorneys, newspapers, corporate offices, etc.

I am very disappointed that I uncovered this information, this after I ranted and raved to everyone about how well I was treated by your staff. This constitutes FRAUD in my opinion. I WOULD HAVE NEVER PURCHASED A RENTAL CAR FOR MY PERSONAL USE!

Regards, Brent David

AutoNation finance manager wouldn't sell me a car

To Whom To May Concern:

It is with great disgust that I write this letter to inform you of the worst buying experience within my tenure of purchasing vehicles. I'd done my research prior to deciding that I would drive 3.5hrs for what I had been told was the best car-buying experience in Texas! Initially, I was not disappointed as Franklin Marcion greeted me with joyful words and no pressure! Franklin was amazing in his presentation and going beyond for me as he was already engaged with another client and had one scheduled for right after. As my sites were set on purchasing a new Jeep Wrangler that did not happen at AUTONATION CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM of Houston located on 1515 South Loop West. Franklin worked with his sales manager after I found the Jeep that totally fit my personality to ensure that the online pricing I had seen was honored as well as any other applicable options. After coming to an agreement the sales team was advised of prior financing already achieved with my personal bank. Here is where my experience took a drastic turn. Being already aware that the finance manager doesn't receive commission if the vehicle isn't financed with him through the dealership I expected a bit of pushback or sales pitch to get me to attempt financing within the dealership. While believing I was about to head into the finance managers office to complete the process and hand over my check, a black gentlemen walked into the office and mumbled introduction which is the reason I cannot provide you with his name. This gentleman was the Finance Manager and stated that he couldn't honor the check because it has been signed on the wrong endorsement line. The FM was then told of my joint financing and given documents from my financial institution stating that being primary that the other individual on my loan would not need to be present to complete the process. I separated all paperwork and instructed the FM on exact documents explaining that he simply needed to call NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION which most if not all Texas AutoNation dealerships have many dealings with. The Finance Manager told me that he had spoke with the Store Manager and then the General Manager and they told him that he could not honor the check because the joint applicant was not there to sign the check? Several arguments and instructions ensued due to the FM not listening or even attempting to read the documents provided by Navy Federal to seal the business agreement. The Finance Manager went on to say that if I did not finance with him that the deal couldn't be completed. I was allowed to leave the dealership OUTRAGED and unable to purchase what I saw as my dream vehicle that I'd prepared more than two years to be able to purchase and then applied and gotten approved for personal financing with my bank and then ultimately being told by this manager that my money was no good at this Auto Nation store! There is no way that I believe that Auto Nation allows such practices as this should have been an easy transaction and $46, 000.00 going into AutoNation's account. I wanted to contact you at the corporate office first before going on social media and all other avenues to exploit such practices. Franklin lost a great sale that he worked hard on and I could tell that he wanted to share other information and details with me but didn't due to fear of retaliation and job loss after more than 11 years on the job. FRANKLIN said that he could only inform me to contact the corporate office due to my horrible experience.

Thanks, Mia

Worst Service Center! Scam Artists

by Natalie R Cueto from Humble

September 18, 2018

This is by far the worst service center, ever! They authorize payments to third parties, with out your knowledge, then tell you they won't release your vehicle unless you pay! I have audio recorded of my personal dealings with these crooks. I have filed with the BBB. They have their damage control come in after reviews are posted, saying the same thing, apologizing about " your experience " and telling you to contact GM. Which is useless, all he does is say "it is a service issue, let me transfer you to the director", who was absolutely no help and the service manager "Kara" is a half-wit! They should be put out of business! #autonation @autonation

AutoNation bmw mountain view - poor after sales

I bought my BMW from BMW of Mountain View on June 02, 2018. The after sales service has been pathetic. I have tried contacting them multiple times to get an appointment with car technician, which I was never able to.
It has been over 3 months and I haven't received my license plates. When I called DMV, they replied that they have not received any paper work for my car. No one is responding to my queries regarding the paperwork at BMW mountain view.
This is very frustrating and also a huge problem because not having license plates causes a lot of trouble.

AutoNation streamline recon

I wanted to enlighten you that Streamline Recon does not do background checks on their employees and sub contractors. The AutoNation at North Point Chevrolet in Buford GA has an employee by the name of Ferrell Ware, a technician with a shady past on his criminal history, Grand Theft Auto in Indiana. He plead guilty to 2 counts and is facing criminal charges in two counties in GA.
This company Streamline entices their employees to repair vehicles " any ole way" so that they can receive commission. These techs are billing for work not performed.
they are given a base pay weekly and commission for billing over $ 8, 000. The plan is the tech receives commission up to 30% after the billing of $ 8, 000. The tech is billing AutoNation daily for thousands for this commission. The contract states that the tech will received their commission check on the 15th of every month. No tech as received their check. I would suggest to investigate this Streamline Recon...
