Auto Lenders Read it before it's too late. Auto Lenders Palm Harbor.

Back on October 6, 2023, I purchased a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible from Auto Lender located at 31200 US Highway 19 N, Palm Harbor, FL 34684. Four months down the line, the car started making this weird noise. So, I figured I’d take it back to the dealer, get an oil change, and have them check it out.

I dropped off my car there February, 25, 2024, and as of today, March 31, 2024, they still haven’t fixed it. Every week, it’s the same old song and dance. They tell me the part I need is coming in the afternoon, and they’ll get right on fixing it as soon as it arrives. But a whole month and 1 week has gone by, and they still haven’t sorted out the issue with my car.

It’s downright disappointing how they can just go back on their word like that. If you didn’t know how to fix a transmission, you could’ve just told me straight up. I could’ve taken my car somewhere else and probably would’ve had the problem fixed by now.

What really grinds my gears is that a month and a week after I left my car with them, I’m still left hanging without a clear answer. It’s a slap in the face to any customer, and to add insult to injury, I tried calling them multiple times on March 26 and 27, and no one even picked up the phone. I’ve told them time and again that this is my only ride, but it seems like no one at this place cares about their customers.

Looking back, I deeply regret ever trusting them. It’s a hard lesson learned, I tell ya.

Went to the Auto Lenders in Exton, PA (about an hour from my house) on Friday, 2/16/24 (11am) to test drive a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Our sales agent was John S. My husband and I drove the Jeep and immediately noticed a loud whistle/small blender sound whenever we accelerated. When we returned to the dealership, we immediately questioned John...

Auto Lenders Just bought a $50,000 car with problems and no help

I just bought a $50,000 Dodge challenger from the egg Harbor Township location. It took me two weeks to make an appointment three days after I bought the car because the clutch is going out and the brakes are really bad causing a shimmy when driving, and the front headlights out that I got pulled over for! I called and emailed and I wasn’t able to get an appointment until two weeks after I bought the car. And even then they won’t help me with a vehicle to use in the meantime since we’re gonna have it all day long.

This is unbelievable from a company that soul mission is supposed to be on customer service! And a better buying experience.

Desired outcome: I want my car fixed and I need a vehicle to use in the meantime until it is!Like every other single dealership ! Especially the one right next-door not black Kia would definitely give a vehicle to use while the car is getting fixed!

Auto Lenders Incomplete service, safety issues, terrible service

I bought a 2019 hyundai santa fe from EHT Autolenders in 2022. It is still under warranty. I had it serviced at the EHT Autolenders about a month ago. The taillight had not been working and the problem was with a bracket that was still under warranty. The service department told me it would be about 3-5 days for them to get the part and they would call me back in to fix the issue. It has been over a month at this point and I have called at least 4 times to see what is going on and every time, the representative tells me that they can't get ahold of the supplier because they are busy and they will call me back before the end of the day with an ETA and every time, I have not heard back. I'm tired of being lied to and misled. What is the point of paying for a warranty if you aren't going to honor it? My wife is 8 months pregnant and I have an 18 month old son, and having a taillight not working is a major safety issue. The negligence of this company is putting my family at risk every day.

My name is Kevin Fatzinger, phone number is [protected], e-mail is [protected]@gmail.com.

Desired outcome: My tail light needs to be fixed ASAP. I'm tired of risking my family's safety because of your negligence. Anything else that you think will make this situation right is up to you.

Auto Lenders AutoLenders and ALGO

AutoLenders made an online offer for our vehicle. They then sent us through to some ALGO company to gather documentation. ALGO made us upload all sorts of images, assuming that no one does anything without cell phone anymore. We had to literally take screen shots of PDF documents because their upload site can't handle a PDF?! Then they asked for another document. Then another. Then another. Then another. Then finally said "No, we need THIS with your company's EIN on it." Well, that's what I had sent them, and even showed them on the document where they could find it. Then they said "No, we need something else." It's just a bunch of ridiculous nonsense. They never had any intention of buying the car. When I mentioned that I was getting frustrated with the hoop jumping and said I was going to start fielding other offers for the vehicle, they said not to "threaten" them. Threaten? They're spending a few thousand and will turn around and make a few thousand on the car, and they're making US do all of this work for nothing?

They obviously do not have their act together. I would work with another company if I were you.

Desired outcome: None. Don't do business with these idiots.

Auto Lenders Purchase of a hyundai tucson year 2018 and traded in a honda accord lx 2013

I traded in my 2013 honda (see above make and model) it had 105k on odometer, which I purchased from your company and had it serviced through out my contract from Wells Fargo. I have purchased vehicles from your company since 2007, and this my third vehicle from the company. I would like to continue my purchase from you in the future but I am inclined not to at this point. My vehicle was financed through Police and Fire Federal Credit Union, I paid for gap coverage and vehicle maintenance for life of loan. With was less than what was incorporated in my loan. I came back and Melissa in the Voorhees dealership had me fill out refund forms which will be sent to my bank and I have to refinance my loan minus the total of 6440.50 dollars. Melissa stated the refund would take 6-8 weeks to see at the bank. In the interim I have no gap or maintenance insurance until then. I believe there can be a better resolution to my problem. Please help me reach that point.

Desired outcome: I would like to buy my car through credit union by bringing a check in from bank for car purchase and have my trade in returned to me. I would like to keep the media out of this. Please help a loyal customer of yours since 2007. Thank you!

Auto Lenders Auto lender

This lender keeps saying I am late but I have not been late and they are charging a high rate that in some states is illegal. They have been making false reports and under the fair credit act are using harassing tactics that are illegal. I also have been paying them more then is called for over a year. I bought this on 4/21 have not been late and paid the of 158 even though it called for 148. I have gone through my bank records and never missed a payment. Every month I get charged a late fee and they threaten me in emails.

Desired outcome: Turn in their business license and or make the truck paid for.

Auto Lenders Hyundai with engine problems

I bought a 2017 Hyundai Sonata from the Voorhees lot back in September 2021. It only had 4,500 miles on it. I’ve had it for about 8 months and it now has about 15,800 miles on it. Last Saturday I was driving to work when the check engine light started flashing and the car slowed down fast even though my foot was on the gas pedal. It accelerated slow and I couldn’t maintain speed. I had to have the car towed from my job in Ocean County to a local repair shop near my home in Deptford Township. It cost me $260 to have it towed. The repair shop said it was a motor problem with Hyundai and they couldn’t fix it. I made an appointment with Autolenders repair shop in Winslow but the earliest appointment they have is May 30th. I contacted Autolenders and someone from the corporate office contacted me. He got me an earlier appointment with the shop in Newtown Square, PA. I told him I couldn’t drive the car that far since the shop is 41 miles from my home. He told me to have it towed there since I have the Allstate extended warranty. But it’s the same issue as with my auto insurance, it was still going to cost me $200 or more that I don’t have. The warranty also covers a rental car but it would cost me $7.50 per day that the Sonata was being fixed. The man from corporate then asked me to ask my auto insurance company if they would tow the car.

I told the guy I can’t wait till the end of the month to have it looked at. I’m out of work with no way to get there. I don’t feel safe even to go to the store for food. I feel helpless and at this point I think they should just let me exchange it for a cheaper car. I’m making car payments on a car I can’t even use. What should I do? The repair shop near my home told me they had a few Hyundai with the same problem and couldn’t fix their cars either.

Desired outcome: Either get my car checked out and fixed sooner than May 30 or give me another car that’s reliable.

When the car was "finished" at 12:45 I got into the car to find the brake system light on. They took the car back into the shop to fix their mistakes and when I asked why it took 4 to 5 hours to do a...

Auto Lenders oil change

I went to autolenders on may 8th for a routine oil change @ the berlin/winslow location or so i thought. What went wrong is that the knowledgeable & veteran mechanics fail to pump the correct amount of oil into my car what i mean is they over pumped oil into my engine by a quart& a half most car now a days only take 3-41/2 quarts of oil not the 5 quarts they have listed on their paperwork! I'm very disappointed this routine oil change could have cost me my engine seals which for $19.95 was not worth it to me so i would suggest that anyone receiving a oil change from there please double check your dipstick of oil after you get an oil change from this location because these were not students but veteran mechanics who should know how to read the (mfr)recommendations!

Auto Lenders Don't depend on them being anything

What was once a unique and A Better Way to by a certified low mile used car at a fair price has apparently changed to just another used car lot. Buying my third vehicle from the them, a little get around car for my daughter to start a new job with, I depended on past experience, advertisements, their no hassle (read no haggle policy and salesman representations that I was buying a car at thousands below the dealers and below auction prices.

I bought a car thousands above other dealers and 20% above Edmond’s. This became apparent when we had a mechanical problem, took the car to a local dealer, and found comparable cars approx 20 per cent less than we paid new vehicle was only 2 thousand more than I paid for the 2008. 44hrs into the deal, I let them know I suspected an error in the computation of their price and didn’t want the vehicle at that price.

I got the usual for used car lot stonewalling and run-a-round corporate cannot be reached. Did you notice there’s no way to contact anybody at Autoloaders other than by phone to a dealership. No email; fax to dealership only. I can only suspect, for whatever reason, a business paradigm shift to get what they can. So, due your research and haggle and don’t be fooled like us by past experience or advertisements, and certainly don’t depend on them being anything other another used car salesman.

Up till this deal, I would have said give them a look; their service is excellent. But what good is good service on your extended warranty vehicle if they go out-of-business.

Auto Lenders sold a horrible car

I purchased a two year old Honda from autolenders the salesperson was Ross. The car had more mechanical defects than you could imagine! I had to cancel the deal when I was told by the mechanic this car is really bad! Autolenders acted like this never happens, read reviews talk to former employees it happens ALOT! They were implying they were doing me a favor to cancel the deal, well they knew I could sue and had no choice but to cancel the deal. My advice don't purchase a vehicle at autolenders.

Auto Lenders Not responsible

I am looking for a job, and walk into Auto Lenders of Toms River. First off all, I come in looking to buy a car, to feel a vibe from them. Took about 5 minutes before someone came up to me. The person who greeted me just asked can I help you, without any name or hand shake... I find this easily as I'm not really interested in helping you; terrible first impression off the bat.

Once I speak to the General Manager, Don Schwartz, he was very friendly, however very busy with end of year transactions. During the interview, he was on the phone half the time. Yes I may only be in for an interview, but if your busy please have me rescheduled, don't just sit on the phone infront of me.

I passed the First interview, and 2nd part was with George Farrachio, the Sales Manager for all the dealerships. He was friendly, great to talk with. He was going to contact me on January 4th, after his vacation, no problem. By the 6th I called him, and asked what was going on, and he has yet to talk to the owner to schedule the next interview, but would get back to me by the end of the week. The following monday, the 11th, I did not hear from him, and called once again, of course he gave me the same run around. He never got back to me in a timely manner, or the dissent respect to atleast call me when he said he would. I reflect this onto their dealerships practice and will tell people not to go there. This is suppose to be a quality family owned dealership? I'm sorry, but when I am buying a new car, I will not consider Auto Lenders, for the lack of respect you have shown me, and I'm sure others as well.

I heard it's a great company. It sounds like you wanted to work for the company but you didn't get the job. It's pathetic that you bad mouth a company because you have faults. Work on your self and stop wasting time writing reviews.

Heard various employees who once worked for them express the same
sentiments. Management extremely condecending! Also, as far as
many ex- employees have recordings of unprofessional business tactics.
Best way to see how a company is, is to converse with lower level employees.
Those are the ones who know their true colors.

Auto Lenders Cheated

Auto Lenders advertises selling select low-mileage, one owner, off-lease vehicles for "thousands below the dealers", "pre-auction prices", and a "no-hassle" (read: no negotiation; not necessary) policy. I bought a vehicle (Volvo) and sent my son (lives at home) there who bought a vehicle (Rav4); deals seemed good, inline with their concept and advertisement, and all was well. My daughter and I recently have a different experience; we buy a vehicle for what now is found to be "thousands above the dealers" and 20-25% above retail and only about 8% lower than a brand new vehicle. (I could explain if necessary)

44hrs into the deal, I try to rectify what I thought must have been an error in their pricing(their retail value is given as $20, 850 and their price is 18, 995) of this particular vehicle; I phoned and faxed (wed and thurs), and went there Friday with the facts and documentation trying to make this "right", or at least less "wrong". Seems I'm getting stonewalled telling me that they, the salesman and the finance manager, can't do anything, and the dealership manger who might be able to do something would call me Thursday, and then someone from "corporate" who can will be in touch with me Friday, then Saturday, but no, I can't call him! Well, tomorrow will be 5 days and still no one but the finance manager who can't do anything called back, last time was Saturday. Either they won't make good on a pricing error or they intentionally cheated us. Sure we could have done more research beforehand and I could be reasonable on my part, but I didn't think I had to and my daughter didn't know she should; we did rely on the fact that my and my sons previous experiences were reasonably as advertised, and depended on the salesmen assurances that this vehicle too was priced according to their policy/advertisement. This isn't

buyers remorse. My daughter likes the vehicle, but not enough to have overpaid thousands; she doesn't want the vehicle knowing she could have had comparable one for about 3.5-4K less, or a brand new one for only 2k more.

I can't see us being cheated this way.

I think a good concept may have gone "bad". And I suspect why, but that may be for another post.

I'm gonna give them until noon tomorrow, and then I explore my legal options. I'm no lawyer, but seems like misrepresentation, false and/or misleading information, and a bunch more to me!

By the way, Carfax shows this vehicle as having 2 past owners and one was a buyer I believe; more contradiction to policy/advertisement.

My daughter brought her Honda civic to autolenders in eht nj, for an oil change, 4 quarts, they would not honor their coupon after performing the service and overcharged her 70 dollars for a simple oil change, their service policy is to overcharge 19 year old girls for simple service.

I disagree I bought 4or 5 cars from autolenders and thought the price was fair and reasonably and never had a problem with any of my cars price wise and my current car is an 03 jaguar that I bought in 06 with 16, 000mi.at the time that I bought it I paid 14, 000 dollars for a 3 yr.car that cost 36, 000 dollars new.I thought that was a great price for a 3yr. old jag.with low milage.

I agree with the above comment, but not the original post. I have purchased two vehicles from AutoLenders and will continue to purchase vehicles from them. No pressure, very helpful, etc. You can take the car to your own mechnic--they offered--and on a test drive sans the sales person with no problems. And, when a door seal leaked in my spouse's car, they fixed everything quickly, replaced everything that had gotten wet, and made what could have been annoying actually pleasant.

As for the prices, these are all used autos. They are listed online and have CarFax reports. You can easily check the Blue Book prices and comparison shop before you ever set foot in the showroom. I'm happy to say my experiences have been so good there that I have recommended friends and coworkers buy autos there.

I have purchased many vehicles from Autolenders. Each experience was great. I found their prices to be well below what I could find the vehicle for at any other dealership. The vehicles are also in incredible shape. I thought some on the showroom floor were new! The sales people are very friendly and helpful. I was never pushed to "buy the car today". I would send anyone of my family or friends to purchase a car at Autolenders. This is a refreshing place to buy a vehicle.
