this lot is horrible. They have no personnel skills, errors in the recordkeeping, and theyare rude and nasty. They came to repo my truck-twice stating I was late on payments; however, they could not tell me when I missed a payment or even the last time I paid. When I called they hung up on me, telling me their computers are down and no one can review my payment history with me to help ME understand where there is a problem. I bought a 2009 car just to alleviate myself from the nonsense. I am still pursuing the two BBB complaints and arbitration. I bought the truck in April 2009 and have made two payments a month since. The owner, Josh, whom you would think cared enough about the business to check my account to see if maybe, just maybe they could be wrong wont even return my calls. I am very dissatisfied but more so, I have pity for those unsuspecting customers who may purchase a car from there. I have been cursed at, told I was lying and hung up on countless times. A middle aged woman that never once raised her voice or made allogations. This lot should be out of business for many reasons.

I agree with you Larry I bought a 1998 Toyota Van from them and got ripped off just like your girlfriend I hadn't even been off the lot 30 minutes after buying it and noticed that the front end was making a strange noise. I took it right back over there and they told me the same thing that it was now my problem and I bought the car as is. Josh also told me that all the cars on his lot have at least a thousand dollars worth of work that needs to be done. I was so mad! They mess up when I am due to have a payment in there all the time. I've been at the same job ever since I bought my van there nothing has changed my pay days are the same as when I first bought my car there. They are rude and want to act like were stupid. I will never buy another car from them again and I don't think anyone else should either.

I hope that enough people read these posts and see the way that Josh Sellers does business. The sad part is most people only find this after they have already been graced by his sleazy presence. I tell you this I do not whine. I state the facts and they are that i work every day, with my hands. At the end of every work day I can look back and see that I have accomplished something. I am proud of what I do. This is not the case with the Auto express of Hamilton ! How could you possibly look back and feel good about FLEECING people?
It seams I am not the first person who has told Josh where the road he is on is headed. You are correct I did not buy anything from you I learned at a pretty young age not to let anyone hold anything over me. If I am to have something I will buy it right out.. Like I said I did tell her not to buy it, she was stressed about not having a vehicle and rushed into it anyway. costly lesson learned.

I have been talking to a local news reporter about a possible story. I assure you this I will do my best to make sure people know about your SHADY BUSINESS Josh Sellers at Auto Express of Hamilton.

They are well know in this area of ripping people off. Sure they have a so called A rating with the BBB its because no one wants to go through all the crap and the waiting process to get something done so they don't fight the issue and just let it Go. I feel sorry for everyone that has ever had to deal with them. And the only positive post they have is from their employee doing it or a friend. Hopefully the word gets around and people will stop getting junk from them. Get a New Car and you wont have to deal with a duck sucker (since I cant say what I really want to call Josh). The guy is right AVOID THESE PEOPLE

Not surprising to see that we are not the only ones to have a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with these crooks. They Financed a 2004 Saturn oin to my girlfriend. It had front end damage to the bumper and hood, rear end damage to the bumper . We test drove it and they told us we had twenty minutes to bring it back? Not enough time to take it to have it checked out properly. I know cars pretty well and i advised her not to buy this car. She was without a car had a tax return in hand and needed to be to work in two hours. She needed a car to be reliable to get her to work and also safe to transport her and her four year old son! We both work very hard and its a shame that people are out there that would be this heartless. She drove the car to work about a half hour away from the lot I followed her in my truck and when she got to work I stayed to look over the car a little more. I discovered then that the front turn signals didn't work! and it was not a bulb or fuse issue, also the front right ball joint was badly worn. Witch led me to discover the tire passenger front on the inside almost on the side wall was worn PAST THE STEEL BELTS! Did I mention this car blue booked at about 4, 600 in good condition, witch this car clearly was not and the total price they were going to charge her was just shy of 10, 000 dollars at a 22% interest rate . I called in just four hours after we left the lot and instantly got an attitude. Josh doesn't have an ounce of respect in his body and his staff is not much better. He pretty much told me it was our problem now its an (as is) thing. This means you sign for it its your problem there is no lemon law to protect you. I ask you this WOULD YOU LET YOUR CHILD RIDE IN THAT CAR? Could you keep a strait face while you tell a young mother its her problem now and she better not be late on her payment. I told josh when I spoke to him last how I felt about him. Now I am telling you PLEASE AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS !

I totally disagree with You. They state on Their voicemail that You cannot leave messages reguarding payment arrangements. That has been on Their voicemail for months. I have also been behind in payments & Have called and talked to Chris & Molly. Both have been very understanding and professional. I have called any time I have not been able to make a payment, I call a day before or the day of & Explain the situation, They work with Me & Have Me bring something in even if it's $50 and put remaining onto my next payment. I'v paid double payments many times and have never had a problem. I cannot believe people are bashing Them like they are. About them only being worried about Their money.. Well duh, They are a business, They paid for the car that You have, You ought to pay for it also. Simple as that. Great place! I'v had 2 cars through them, The first one was totalled out (Leaving their parking lot from paying a payment, Grr) & The 03 Neon I have now. Both haven't really had any major problems and great cars! If you cannot make your payments then don't bash them, That is your own fault. Yes it's hard times but they need their money as well as you need Yours when You work.

I am having the same problem right now They repoed my SUV 4 days before Christmas while I was waiting on a return phone call that my payment was going to be late and that I would Pay it on 12/31. I talked to Jeff who was going to talk to Josh and get back with me on the same day which was on a Friday 12/17. He never called back and sent a repo man after the SUV. I called him and he lied and was very rude said he called me back and left a message. HE DID NOT. he first said I thought I called you back but then started getting mad and being very Rude. I paid extra money the prior month to go monthly with Molly who suggested that we do this and also spoke to Chris about this matter and he was the one who told me how much I needed to pay to bring it monthly. I then get a call From a JEFF that is very un professional thinking he can bully people by the way he talks to them telling me that I am not monthly that I am still Bi weekly he told me Chris didnt make the desicions in the office that Chris worked in the garage has nothing to do with selling cars. and would not let me talk to Chris or Molly. He said I was sounding like his daughter making excuses. I was Told by Josh if I couldnt pay on time just call and tell him. That is what I was doing Not needing to get talked to by this unprofessional individual. He lied on the phone and said I wasnt schduled for repo yet that I wasnt on the list that If I could pay anything would help. I did not let him know the man was already here I justed wanted to know that If I payed something on it would it get repo-ed he said he couldnt guaranteed that. So that shows that If I had paid the pymt (180.00 for being late on Bi-weekly pymt if that was the way he wanted it) not how it was set up that I would had my SUV repo-ed for 1 missed bi-weekly pymt right before Christmas. All they care about is getting their money not about how people are struggling trying to pay everything they can and have a Christmas for their Kids at the same time. They told me I would have to pay a repo fee of 350.00 and catch up on my payments to get it back. This Is not my first time having this done. The first time they repoed it with 1 payment late of 90.00. By 1 business day late this is a fact! and how they run a business is ridiculious. Their office closed on a Friday at whatever time they wanted to close since they dont go by their business hours. And came and got my SUV on Monday Morning at 5:30 Am which cost me over 600.00 to get back because of the towing fee then was 450.00 by the other repo people they used then. I was going to call in that Morning when they opened. I even left a message on their answering machine Friday that I was going to pay on Monday since they were closed to call me when they opened up. Just to show you what type of people you are dealing with at this car lot. I suggest You stay away and go else where cause they will LIE to Your Face just to get Your Money and then after that Look Out you never know when they will show up to get your vehicle. I too have filed a complaint on these people as well and I am not just going to let this go. There is no telling how many people they are doing this too. As Far as their above statement that people make these remarks out of anger. And They have settled all of their BBB complaints. You will see what type of Individuals your dealing with. And everything they do to people will come back on them 10 times worse maybe not for them to realize or admit but maybe their finances, or business or family life will be affected by the way they treat people. God Truely takes care of his own and when you do something to one of Gods children. I feel sorry for you cause he can make it all come crumbling down around you. You can say anything to pacify what you do BUT in the long run that is the one person that will truely make you pay. You can laugh about the last remark I made because you have no clue of what Im saying. But when you start having things happen to you because people are having hard times You will be right along with us 10 folds more.

All BBB complaints against Auto Express have been settled and or closed in favor of Auto Express to date. Auto Express of Hamilton has an A rating with the BBB. Most often in this business when a person's vehicle is repossessed it is an embarassing and upsetting situation and comments are made in anger.
