I totally agree with the above complaint.

It is a disgrace that viewers of Australian free to air television are subjected to explicit late night sex ads, ESPECIALLY during the school holiday period, when many children are up late watching movies. These adds are highly sexually explicit and make up the majority of all television advertising during late night television.

People watching free to air television should not be forced to watch this obscene sex ads in their family home.

Its discusting and embarrassing. Enough is enough Australia! We all know that sex sells but late night explicit sex ads has gone too far, its totally pornographic and thats wrong. I wonder how much of these "ads" encourage sex related crimes..? My concern is for the children that we as adults are suppossed to protect in general for their future. Advertising such sex anywhere should be banned and something needs to be done about it now. Im tired of changing the channel(s) when these ads start especially when one of my children are sick and cant sleep. Its sad and its pathetic.

It's awful. I alway think how terrible it would be to tune in and see my daughter or niece in one of these ads. All these girls are someone's daughter, sister etc... I can only feel sad for them. I have to leave the room when these ads are on.

I most certainly agree with the above complaint. My husband works shift work and when he comes home to relax to watch a bit of television (movies) late at night, and have to sit through these disgusting and degrading ads when we are enjoying a movie is very off putting. The fact that there is not only one but continuous sex ads on every channel. Its bad enough we have to listen to explicit foul laugauge let alone these ads as well...get them off.

I to am sick and tired of these ads. My girlfriend was sexually abused as a child from the age of three by her grandfather who used to be a porn addict. These ads are targeting people who are sick and desperate enough to subscribe to them, and if there sick and desperate enough to subscribe to these filthy ads they are sick and desperate enough to hurt innocent women and children. It's time something was done about stopping these ads as all they do is promote a negative attitude towards women, viewing them as nothing more than an object that can be used to satisfy the urges of the sick and unstable men who find delight in viewing and subscribing to them.

If we get rid of them the child abuse and rape of women can only go down. Its about time all the parents of kids and partners of abused men/women as well as anyone with morals stood together and fought to ban these filthy and degrading ads from TV.

I whole heartedly agree with the above complaints about the late night porn ads on EVERY free to air channel... i am sick to death of them. We, , my partner and myself always switch off the TV off when this starts and put on a DVD.
I am no prude by any stretch of the imagination, , but is it really necessary to see this sort of garbage on the TV everynight? No wonder things are going to hell here. What will the Television stations be allowed to make money off next? FULL BLOWN PORN???? Where does the Government draw the line?

I agree - I tape some of those shows and watch them with my kids later on and I am sick of them being bombarded with sexually explicit porn.

Advertising on free to air television has reached a point where there is no entertainment, only advertising. The executives at the various channels are only after profit not entertainment, consequently the average viewer is going to Harvey Norman and buying a Personal video recorder, recording the programmes they want and skimming through the adds. soo.. to catch up the Television stations introduce other channels that broadcast thirty/forty/fifty year old rubbish, filled with advertising. The free to air channels are killing the goose that laid the golden egg, they are sacrificing entertainment for profit.
My advice, get a personal video recorder, record all the programmes you want, create a library and skim through the adds. it now and tell the channels to get ###ed, we have had enough.
