Gregg Wexler has TV ads, print ads and is very well spoken gentleman, but our experience was one I would like to share as a consumer.
Gregg Wexler advertises that he will "Personally handle your case aggressively" in tv ads and on his web site.
1.) Gregg Wexler met with us to explain his legal services, but never personally handled our case to our knowlege, unless he worked on it behind closed doors. Our case was handled by a staff trial lawyer, and we did not see Gregg Wexler or speak to him directly for years after we entered into the contractual aggreement for his firm to handle our case.
2.) After the staff lawyer easily accepted one of two possible settlements that was offered without a fight from one insurance company, everything slowed down and we went years to try and get the case completed and is still pending.
3.) After the staff trail lawyer that worked on our case left the Greg Wexler firm, no one from Gregg Wexler's office called to inform us. Weeks after her departure we made a call to find out what the status of our case was, only then were we told of the situation. We requested a meeting with Gregg Wexler and twice Gregg Wexler was not able to show up in person for the meeting we were told he would attend. Only when I called the morning of the planed meeting to "confirm" that Gregg Wexler would attend, did I learn that he was not able to attend, but a staff lawyer would attend, so we had to make another appointment if we wanted Gregg Wexler to be present.
They did offer a staff lawyer to meet with us, but since we felt needed to speak with Gregg Wexler, we choose to make a new appointment.
4.) My wife called about once a day for over a month requesting that Gregg Wexler call us himself and no calls from Gregg Wexler were returned until we filed a complaint with the Florida Bar Assoc.
5.) Finally a meeting was arranged and Gregg Wexler did show up as promised, only to tell us that the trail lawyer handling our case was no longer working for his firm, and only one other trail lawyer was available to take over our case, and if that was not acceptable, we could take our business elsewhere.
6.) When I asked Gregg Wexler why his name was mentioned as an option to take over our case, HE SAID "I WILL NOT TRY YOUR CASE". When I asked him why, he refused any expaination. I repeated my request for a explaination of why he would not take over our case as stated in his advertisements, he repeatedly refused to provide any explanation what so ever. WE WERE SHOCKED AT THIS ATTITUDE AFTER INVESTING YEARS INTO THE CASE. It was to us, a simple case..my wife was stopped at a traffic light and was rear ended by two cars. My opinion is this should have been a simple case for a trail lawyer.
7.) When I requested his verbal options in writting, Gregg Wexler left the office and a member of his staff returned and offered us discharge papers to release Gregg Wexler from our contract instead of the letter we requested.
8.) AGAIN, IN TOTAL SHOCK, WE ASKED WHAT WAS HAPPENING HERE? We asked why we were being treated like this and and no explanation was given. At this point, I told the staff member that I wanted to wait for the letter explaning the options Gregg Wexler offered us and the staff member told me " I will call the police if you do not leave the office".
NOW I AM ABOUT TO EXPLODE..NO ONE ASKED US TO LEAVE AND THEY ARE TREATENING TO CALL THE POLICE? Let me be clear, at no time did we yell, get nasty or use any words or language to be treated like a criminal! No one asked us to leave and they treatened to call the police! Shocked and furious at this point of the meeting, I insisted they provide me with a letter explaning the verbal options they gave me at this meeting and they told me they did not have time to write the letter now, but would in the afternoon and would mail it to me. We left and my wife almost had a mental break down in the car due to the way we were treated.
9.) After waiting a few days for the letter requested, we instead received a letter for a court hearing that Gregg Wexler requested to have us discharged as clients. Yes, that is legal and I have been told no judge will prevent a law firm from discharging clients that are not in agreement.
10.) I am a consumer and a business man and I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I cannot offer any explanation for such treatment and Gregg Wexler did not offer an explanation after several requests as to why he would not handle our case.
We have never sued anyone before and this is the first experience we had with a trail lawfirm. I do know that this is the clearly the worst "consumer experience" I have ever encountered in my life, but I cannot speak for other clients or lawfirms.
As a consumer, I am still in shock. I now must attempt to retrive a copy of our file so we can shop for a law firm dedicated to assisting the client in a professional manor. Since I never got the letter I requested, and told would be mailed to me that day, I am unsure if I will be able to get a copy of my file from the Gregg Wexler law firm.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I never met Greg Wexler I have met Danielle I wish I would have looked at Google first. Never been hit by a car before never needed an attorney for injury case before but if I ever had it happen again it will not be Greg wexler's Law Firm. I tried to fire them today and was told I need a letter and a reason to fire them I got no phone call except for the one asking if I had representation I then was represented by Wexler Law Firm good thing that phone call came to me when friends told me it was illegal I decided I wanted no part of this Law Firm yet now they're putting a lien against my case and it's not a case yet never settled I fee
l much better now wish to return to work but they don't want me to I've always been honest it is the Buddhist way namaste mr. Greg Wexler. I contacted Geico directly they were very shocked at what I had to say.
I also had dealings with Gregg Wexler, It was at the time of his DUI, promises were made to help me keep my house . Of course now I am homless, living with a friend that is supporting me. My money most likely went for his bail money. i am going to move on now

Why would Drunk attorney Wexler want me and my wife to get our necks cracked 3 days in row because it was during thanksgiving. Because the office was gonna be close the next few days and Wexler and Chiropractor have zero limits when it comes to greed. You know they wanted the same thing during x-mas, new year, etc... Next it was the office is closed on friday you have to come back tomorrow. What does getting you neck snapped 2/3 days in a row do for client besides line DUI gregg and Greedy chiro's pockets.

No we did not collect any money as Drunk Gregg filed a claim to collect any benefits if we are to hire another attorney. Why hire another attorney to get our necks snapped when we asked that they not be but in order to get paid you must, advise from DUI Wexler staff. I didn't claim to have been present during every client meeting, but yes, I still work there. I do not need to be present to know that a claim of him throwing a file at a pregnant client is an outrageous lie. Once again, you did not pay for any legal services nor did the firm collect any money on your case, so how exactly were you "ripped off"? The moment you are unhappy with the services being provided you are entitled to take your case elsewhere, which I am sure you did. I've worked for Gregg Wexler for seventeen years and I can assure you at NO time would he EVER throw a file at a client, much less a pregnant woman! If the above claimed incident had even a hint of truth, there would have been assault charges filed, which of course there were none. The truth is our firm collects NO fees and is paid NOTHING in a personal injury case unless we recover money for the client. Mr. Wexler has to pay all costs out of his pocket without reimbursement if there is no favorable settlement, which would include the high costs associated with a trial. It is an attorney's personal choice not to take a case to trial if he or she does not feel the case will win, and there are many factors involved in making those decisions. If either of the above clients were dissatisfied with Mr. Wexler's representation, they could have discharged him at any time and taken their cases to another firm.
Yes if you hire Greg Wexler you will get some junkie paralegal - we never saw him after 20 visits to the office and requested to see him not Danielle Robitaille the even more rude legal rep from Wexler law firm. Please don't waste your money on Greg Wexler - We ended up walking away from a crash where my wife was cut out of a mercedes benz with zero dollars cause greg is greedy - Greg Wexler lawyer west palm beach is greedy and will rip you off - surprised the florida bar has not suspended or revoked his law license because attorney greg wexler west palm beach and lawyer greg wexler west palm beach are complete rip offs.
