Att Mobile Phone/sony / phone does not work-no service

Of course I have a contract with ATT for cell phone service. It appears this contract only works one way-I pay, no matter what. Even if my new phone does not work, the extra features of the phone do not work, the phone dies and loses the signal. It has been replaced 3 times now and I still cannot use it. Dropped calls have cost me business dollars and contacts yet I am obligated to pay for this lousy 'Non-Service'.
What a rip-off!

    I was curious to know what phone model you have (I'm guessing it's a Sony Ericsson?) & where you got it from. The features on an SE phone that is "flashed" to the manufacturer's original firmware, or purchased from a 3rd party (who had the phone "flashed" or is an international seller) have features like navigation, GPS, or streaming video that doesn't seem to work quite right with AT&T's service.
