Aspen Dental dentures and no money back

I went into office in Augusta, Maine to get a bottom denture,

First told me had to pay up front, after checking me out,

I was told $500, I was told I couldn't get just bottoms, had to have both to fit right

I went back for 4 fittings, had to have them keep taking off material as they were too large in mouth

I have $ 500 worth of teeth sitting in container in a bag in a cupboard

Now I see they are advertising money back, well where is my money, I can't afford to throw away my money but guess I have to

Aspen Dental horrible dental care leading to declining health.

Aspen Dental
I'm so very happy that this legal pursuit of SHADY Aspen Dental Management is transpiring ; after having went through at least 4 years of treatment and many $ spent out of pocket (despite having excellent insurance) - I have ended up with the worst dental work EVER. I started this nightmarish journey about 4 years ago. After researching and saving my hard earned money I decided to get dental implants to replace my old and ill fitting upper dentures. I had my 4 implants placed and was finally ready to get my upper dental implant fitted. While being fitted for my implants; the dentist who was taking my original dentist's place (my original dentist was on maternity leave) completely destroyed the work that took almost a year of work and healing year to get to this point. This inept "dentist" tried for about an hour to fit my new implants to my very costly abutments then he finally gave up and said I should come back when my dentist (on maternity leave) came back. When I did go back, my original dentist told me that the idiot had left a screw in the abutment post that would prevent the post from being functional - the only option I was given was removal of the abutment. Once again, I went through the pain equivalencey of having 4 teeth pulled at once - then I had no choice but to have my upper implant (made for 4 posts) put back on after changing it to 3 posts. Of course I have had issues with this - this really didn't fit properly despite numerous adjustments. I'm a VA R. N ; one work day while educating my patients - my loose implant actually almost fell out. It actually started to move around in my mouth. Needless to say I was mortified and embarrassed. My patient and his family present asked me, "honey are you ok!". I was totally mortified, asked to leave my position at that time and then had to ask another nurse to continue my patient discharge teaching. I wish I had went elsewhere for my dental implant! Aspen replaced a small % of the cost of the "jacked up" dental implant that was destroyed by the inadequate and nonprofessional "substitute dentist".
I will still need to have another implant abutment placed in the place of the missing 3rd implant on the 4 implant post. I also have had a crown that was done by Aspen. I was fitted for a lower partial with a bottom tooth (root canal prepped first and crown on top) dental work done by Aspen. One day I'm getting ready to go to work and brushing my teeth and the next minute - my crown has fallen out of my mouth and is in the sink. I made Aspen aware of this issue ASAP. At first the office manager denied that the (root canal and crown) was even done at Aspen. However thank God for computer records and imaging - she had no choice but to recant her lie. Even after they realized that the "jacked up" crown work was theirs ; they refused to do much about. At first the office manager told me, "crowns fall out all the time!"Of course I knew better and insisted that they do something. Afterward, they offered to do lower implants - no cost reduction or anything. I didn't want this — so they could do another botched job on my lowers? Then to suffice for their inadequate and shabbily done dental work, they then offered to take my partial and (yes) add a tooth on it to replace the missing crown of my lower tooth. I was looking like a Halloween jack o lantern at this time and had no choice at this time. They put the (thin and ugly) tooth on my partial as they said they would. Needless to say it looked hideous and had to be redone several time just to look 1/2 decent. I have lost at least 20 pounds because I cant eat properly anymore. Whenever I go to the Aspen office for anything (upper implant readjustment) I've heard the office manager laughing with her staff and joking about me an my situation. This has been costly, financially, timely, emotionally and has led to my loss of self esteem. I paid for implants; not for a nightmare. My GI tract is starting to also be effected because I can't chew my foods as I should; I have reoccurring episodes of acid reflux so bad that I'm getting ulcers. I've spent many dollars for this roller coaster ride through hell with Aspen Dental Management — - my whole purpose was to enhance my health not make it worse. Yes I will join this class action... let me know what records you need (more pictures or other wise) and I will get them to you ASAP... Aspen needs to be put out of business... shady, shady money grabbing!? people masquerading as professionals and literally stealing money from insurance companies and from customers pockets. They do not care about their customers - you are no more than a piece of sh — to them. I've been made to feel this way time after time with Aspen Dental Management on 124th and Capital in Milwaukee.

Aspen Dental overcharge, pain, dentist preoccupied not caring

My first visit to Aspen was on March 8, 2018, which was to e for a cleaning. Had my x-rays taken and exam. I was told I had many things going on in my mouth. My first impression of everyone was that they were nice and helpful. (So is a used car salesman). Anyway I agreed to the procedures and had the cleaning, they cut down a tooth that they said needed a crown and filled 2 tiny superficial cavities. That was all fine. Came back on Mar. 13, 2018 for the partial impression for top and bottom. Young girl learning, she didn't but a cloth on me and that stuff got all over my clothes, in my hair and on my face. I told them the tooth they cut down for crown was hurting me. They told it was normal because they did a lot of work on that side of my mouth. I believed them. I went back on Mar. 16, 2018 to get recheck. Mouth still hurting. They said to give it time. I went back on Mar. 29, 2018 to have the temp. crown removed and the perm. one put on. Dental asst was teaching young girl how to remove temp. She grabbed a hold of it and I almost came out of my seat. It hurt so bad. The dental asst. tried to work on me. I was terrible. So Dr. Burgess came in and went to do it and I asked to be numbed. She gave me a couple of shots and let me sit.in the mean time Dr. Burgess was with at least 3 other patients. Came back and I still could fell everything. Gave me more shots. She was more interested in talking about her moving into a new house that she could of cared less about me. This went on for over an hour. Dr. Burgess was so frustrated with me and she SHOWED IT. She ended up giving me like 8 shots, squirting the fluid all around my mouth and ended up just jerking the temp off. I about came out of the chair. So now they can't get the new crown to fit correctly. They have me bite down on it and it cracks in half. Great now I have to go through this all over again. So the dental asst is frustrated also and is showing it. They slapped a temp back on to cover the exposed tooth. The temp had a piece sticking out on the side that was cutting my cheek and it was shoved on there where it was cutting my gum. Dr. Burgess gave me a pain med prescription and walked off. I WAS IN THAT CHAIR FOR 2 HOURS CRYING DURING ALL THIS - I WAS THE ONE APOLOGIZING.
Went back April 11, 2018 to finish up my cleaning. I talked to the office personal about what was going on and their answer was for me to sign another form charging me $2123.00 on top of what they had already charged me the $3184.00. I was so upset and confused. They took advantage of me. The hygienist was nice but she did not clean my teeth very good. Nothing like what they charged me for. Honestly they looked cleaner before I even went. I told her my I mouth was killing me and that I had been taking the pain med when I could but nothing was taking the pain away. She said she would let them know. Went back on April 16, 2018 for the wax fit. Again I told them I still hurt. I scheduled to come back and just pull the tooth out. I explained I cant stay medicated just to get through the day. They tried numbing me again, Dr. Burgess grabbed hold of my tooth and I almost fit her. She jumped back, it was that terrible. She again so annoyance with me. More shots, nothing was working so I was like that's it. She told me I would have to see the oral surgeon. Finally someone that knows what they are doing. Made the appointment Sat in May because he only came once a month. I called to get information on that doctor and the office staff would not tell me, she said she didn't know who was coming. I was like your kidding right. I finally found out who he was and that Dr. didn't have very good credentials. Than a couple days later they tell me I have to reschedule because he couldn't come on that day. I would need to wait another month. I brought all my paperwork, partial and bills in and spoke to the office manager. I told her I was not ever coming back and that they can refund me my money because I have now been in pain and on medication for 3 months. I went to a reputable dentist and I explained all what was going on. They were able to fix my tooth pain, the pain that happened at Aspen dental.

Aspen Dental incompetence

After a dental cleaning in May 2018, at the Ruskin / Sun City, Florida.
I started experiencing discomfort, I called the office to get evaluated ASAP.
They gave an appointment for 6/4/18 @ 4:15, a few days later they called to reschedule my appointment to 6/7/18 @ 9am. 6/5/18 they called to reschedule again, then said it was an error. On 6/6/18 they texted me informing that I had missed my appointment.
Today 6/7/18 my appointment date, I arrived early and was told that they couldn't find my chart. after a while they finally located it. They then took x-rays of the area and told me that I would have to wait until the dentist was free since they were doing surgery. I would have to wait possibly until 11am. I informed them that it would not be possible since I had to work and asked for a refund, then left.
My husband referred me to them and I don't have any intention to return to ASPEN DENTAL again. My husband said that is considering the same in disbelief of my experience.

Aspen Dental partial denture

Hello I am writing in regards to a major issue my husband is having with service and product.. The office is Aspen Dental 2100 Chili avenue 14624... We were talked into purchasing the FlexiLytes partial denture at a high cost we were told it was superior to the Cast partial. Well almost going on way over a year and a half and we are still having to go every 2 weeks for adjustments. We were told by the dentist Dr Sai.. Who is excellent so nice that we were not told the correct info and were pressured into the purchase of the FlexiLyte He said we can Talk with store manager Tatiana and we should be able to get some refund back The store manager that did the original deal was no longer working there. Well... I have never had such POOR, BAD, DISRESPECTFUL customer service in my life! We were talked down upon yelled at and basically told to shut up! Tatiana said they will not honor any guarantee and if we want to order the Cast Partial it would be and additional almost 500$ more... We were so shocked and disappointed that they would treat a customer that way.. Never have we been treated so poorly with any service Tatiana needs to be retrained or REPLACED! I hope you can help us resolve this issue as we have payed in full for the denture and have had to miss so much time off from work he works a high stress level job and I am retired and I am on any hippa policy to have full permission to discuss any medical need. Well he had a missed phone call after his visit so I tried to call and was again very rudely told I could not be given any information. So again he had to take time from his work. Is this not why we have a Hippa policy in place we are extremely disappointed in our service we have had. I have recommended people to that location because of the excellent care of Dr Sai and now to be treated this way. Then to see commercial and advertisements all the time about money back guarantee and peace of mind warranties when we have had anything but.

Aspen Dental scheduled dental appointment

A month previous to my appointment date I requested a routine appointment for a check up and specified routine cleaning at this office. I was told this was no problem... This would be covered for sure, after my insurance information was reviewed. I was a month over due on cleanings and wanted to get this out of the way. I placed emphasis on catching up on the cleaning! For some reason, I was always told this was so important! After the check up was finished I was told by, who I assumed was the dentist, if I wanted a cleaning done they would do it... Ten minutes later I was informed by a billing person that they can't do that. You have to make an appointment and do that later... This was definitely a fast turn around! They were interested in doing some periodontal repair later and wanted to figure out how much they could get from my insurance and evidently, to create as many visits as possible... I interrupted a trip to come back here for this_and still no cleaning was done, as promised... Nothing about requiring 2 appointments for this was mentioned in the beginning or I would have went elsewhere! The exam indicated some periodontal repair may be necessary... I have additional coverage in effect for this, because of diabetic status... This doesn't appear on the chart of basic benefits for my plan... I obtained a number for them to easier verify this and called back, trying to help! First of all they didn't believe it and was once again snubbed, and gave the run-around. I have scheduled a cleaning elsewhere and the future periodontal will be elsewhere also... At least it was good to see what aspen is all about, up front! Guess I should have paid more attention to the 100 plus negative reviews about them!

Aspen Dental two crowns

In 2015 at the Lebanon Tennessee location I had two porcelain crowns done since then one had to be glued back on 3 times before I lost it and the other one fell off last fall which I still have that one. IU school of dentistry gave me an estimate of over $1700 plus there is a $900 root canal needed. They said the caps needed to be done in gold not porcelain, and they would not fall off. I had the dental work done when I had dental insurance and now I dont I am on disability. I think it is wrong to have to do this work all over again. The aspen dental in Greenwood Indiana is the one that seen me last what can we do to make this right?

Aspen Dental work that was done

2015 went to Aspen dental cause a bridge I had broke. So the cheapest why was to have a partial done...2400 dollars later the bridge did not fit right teeth shorter the the other side. I was so dissatisfied that I did pay them the balance owe until 2018 my front tooth broke in my gums again the cheapest way to go was to add a tooth. To the existing bridge. So I decided and thought that since they had done the bridge maybe this time they could fix it. So they added the front tooth. Once again. Very unprofessionally done. I was so disappointed. The tooth came back pink uneven. Bridge lose. Metal in the back cuts my tongue. I only put it on when I go to work. I told them how I felt. And their response was that at least I had a front tooth. I receive a bill for 462 dollars. Cause they went ahead. A did a bone graft where I told then to just put a plug doctor insisted. I told them what ever is didn't pay I didn't want cause I live pay check to pay check. They said not to worry insurance would pay. Out of pocket was 138 dollars. And no more bow I received a bill which I am not paying. Cause the work was very unprofessional. If I don't get this matter resolved I plan getting a lawyer..I have lost my smile. Pink tooth in the front. Uneven teeth. Fall off when I speak have to use glue all the time. Tongue get caught on the metal in the back. I told them how depressed I am Ibut they say there is nothing they can do.

Aspen Dental partial dental, new and teeth keep breaking off

Here I am at Taco Bell and eating a hard shell taco and a tooth breaks off. How embarrassing. Just had a new partial done less than 3 months and this is the second time this happens. It a good thing the office is close at this moment, I would be there having a complaint fit. We pay top prices for our dental and this is highly unacceptable. Will be there next opening day. have to wait 3 day because of the long weekend.
May 25, 2018 6 pm.
Very good thing this is not a very important social function and I have to deal with lot of people but I am pissed off.
Will never deal or recommend anyone to Aspen in the future.

Aspen Dental shady billing and poor customer service

I chose aspen dental because I had a tooth that broke off that I needed removed asap. When i called their customer service line, the lady set me up an appointment and told me regardless if my insurance covered or not that everything done in my first visit was free. I went to my first visit, was quoted 90$ for the tooth extraction and that my insurance was paying half so that would be $45. got my exam and xray and expected that I would get my tooth pulled. I was wrong. They said they wanted to clean them before they would pull my tooth, but that everything was included. They gave me a patient welcome kit and said it was included. While I'm waiting I look in the hall and the doctor himself is yelling in the face of his assistant calling her an [censored] and asking her if she's stupid. They cleaned my teeth and then I was to get my tooth pulled. He decided he absolutely had to pull 2 teeth that day and I only wanted the one done. He was so aggressive and was grabbing me by the face so hard while pulling my tooth and expecting me to talk and getting frustrated because I couldn't with 4 shots of anesthetic in my mouth while I'm choking on my own saliva. I wanted out of there so bad I was traumatized. They pressured me into making more appointments to finish what they started which I didn't even want to go to, I just didn't feel like I was allowed to leave. I called next day and cancelled. Then I receive a bill for all of the procedures including what I did not even go to. I called and disputed with the credit bureau and they told me to call aspen. I called the office and the manager absolutely did not care about my concerns or why I chose not to come back. She told me the bill was the same and that my insurance was not paying what she told me, and that the bill had been itemized now and that the toothbrush they gave me was 150$ alone! I told her my visit was traumatic and she did not care. Will not be going back and will let others know.

Aspen Dental bill

I have called Aspen Dental several times about a bill I keep receiving in the mail that has now gone to collections! I was not supposed to get charged at all because they told me to come back to their office at 3p.m. to get a tooth removed and I sat there for over 2 hours just for them to tell me that day doesn't work so I was late for my job. They told me to come back the next day and there would be no charge for my appt. Then I kept getting a bill in the mail! I called several times and left messages and NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK! Then this bill went to collections. I called corporate and spoke to a lady who said she would personally make sure someone called me back and voided this bill I was to never get in the first place. again, NO ONE CALLED ME! Now it's in collections! This needs to be fixed ASAP! I am beyond upset as you are hurting my credit that I have worked so hard to build back up! I do not owe a thing! Account #: 8342999. Service date: 10-10-17. Amount $246.75.

Aspen Dental service

I became a new patient 2017 at the Johnson City Tennessee office, on my first visit I was given a quote for all dental work to be done. I then got signed up for financing to pay the balance my BCBS does not pay. The problem came up in December, apparently this office did not file the balance with the financing company. I called when I received a bill and asked that this be added, I was told by Casey in this office that would not be problem. Then out of no where yesterday 05/22/18 I received a collection letter. I called the finance company and told that she never asked for this added amount to be added to my account and now with it being over 30 days it cannot be added.

Aspen Dental dentures

I have been a customer for a year and paid in full my dentures with my debit card, at the office located in ft. Myers, Fl. with Dr. Montero that took care of me, I have no complaints about him.
My complaint and total disappointment have come when I went last May 8th, 2018 to get my permanent upper denture and also to get a refund on my bottom ones since they would not stay in with the glues or powders. I was informed by the doctor that saw me a lady doctor, Dr. Montero was no there, that I could have implants which I said no since I did not have the money to have that done. All the money I had I had given them when I first went there. So I talk to Hunter the office manager and after he told me again my options, I repeated to him what I had told the doctor previously, he assured me there was not a problem for the refund that it would take 7 to 10 days back to my debit card. I had even called him that Friday, since I remember the debit card on file, had been changed over the course of the year by my bank and he told me we had to wait till it went through and rejected until we could provide the new card. Fine, I shall wait then. Today May 16th I received a call from Hunter, the office manager to tell me that corporate had declined the refund since the 9 days of warranty had expired. What 9- days? No one ever told me that they were only good for 90 days? He replied you could have brought them back for realignment. I did have impressions taken 3 different times and that was not the problem, again they will not stay in with the glues or the powders...
To make the story short, he asked me if I will like t schedule an appointment to have them remade? how many times do I have to keep saying the same thing over and over again, they will not stay in. He said they will keep my lower dentures there until I could pick them up, to which I responded, I have no use for them. And I am very disappointed this information was never told to me before or I would have brought them back before the 90 days. I will make a complaint and leave a review in your corporate offices. If you notice at no time while all of this transpired in our talks I was told about the 90 days only when corporate denied my refund!

Aspen Dental combination of malpractice and consumer fraud.

This is a formal complaint to Aspen Dental Corporate for dental work I had done and is still not fixed. I went to the Port Richey, Florida office. Also The Oswego NY office. The Regional Rep told me that the work would be covered BY ASPEN DENTAL. I am a snowbird and dealing with 2 offices. This is a timeline of my ordeal with Aspen Dental and the problem is not fixed at this time.

January 10, 2018 - It was my first time at Aspen Dental. I had the X-rays and checkup. I told them I have had a problem with an old crown and that I needed them to look at it as soon as they could because I had been in discomfort for a while. They said they would look at it after the cleaning. They said they would know more when they took off the current crown. I went to schedule the cleaning and they gave me a Jan. 26th appt. (My husband had his cleaned on Jan. 10th without a cleaning appt. He also went back and had a cavity filled the next day on the 11th) At that time I thought it odd that he could get in earlier than me when I was the one in pain.

January 26, 2018 - Had my teeth cleaned. It hurt during the cleaning. I asked for them to be careful with it. That woman was very nice and she was gental. When I went to schedule an appointment for my crown they scheduled it on Jan. 30th.

January 30, 2018 - Both dentists looked at it. When it was taken off they decided to do a gingivectomy. They also had to grind down a post that was in there from the old crown. I was told to use salt water rinse and that was it. They put my temporary crown on.

February 16, 2018 - My temporary crown came off. It was a Friday night and I had company from out of town. I called the emergency number. The Dr. called back and said to come in the next morning. (I guess the Port Richey office was the one opened that Saturday for emergencies)

February 17, 2018 - When I got there my real crown was there. The Dr. put it in. It did not feel right to me but the Dr. kept saying you have to get used to it. That he had one just put in and it takes time. It felt real long to me.

February 23, 2018- As the time went by my whole side of my face got swollen. There was a bump on the back of my gum were they did the surgery. I called early for an appointment. They said they could not give me an appointment until the 27th at noon. I tried to wait but I was in so much pain I went to the office. (on that day the receptionist was horrible) She told me my appointment was not until the 27th at noon. By this time the receptionist got other workers involved. I tried to explain what had happened and that I was in pain They told me the Dr. was is surgery and they could not talk to me. They told me that I would have to go to Largo on the weekend or come in on Monday as a walk-in) I was so frustrated and in pain at that time I could not argue anymore. They gave me no other option then to wait until the 27th because it would be the same Dentists that put it in. At that point I thought it might be very infected.

February - 24th - The pain got worse. My whole side of my face and jaw was sore. I could not even sleep. At 6am I called the emergency number. The answering service said the Dr. would call back within 10 min. I waited. The answering service called me back and asked if the Dr. called. This was about a half hour later. The Dr. still did not call. Again the answering service called me back about 10 min later. No call from Dr. I then called the answering service for the 2nd time. It was about 8:30am by this time. Again the phone calls came from the answering service to see if the Dr. called. After the service called me at around 10am I gave up. I got in the car and went and got over the counter pain medication. For the whole weekend I was sick to my stomach and throwing up. I could not eat anything.

February-25th - Later in the day finally a Dr. called and left a message (I was sleeping when she called. Tired from being sick all weekend) - She told me to come in the next morning at 8am when they opened.

February-26th I was the first one at the door as they opened. Same receptionist was there. They gave me a very hard time. I told them the Dr. left a message for me to be there at 8am. They told me I could not be looked at until Tuesday the 27th. I was not going to take no this time, I sat down in the office and finally the Dr. came out and they took me in. The Dr. only ground the crown down a bit. I had novocane so I asked if I could keep my Tues. appt. To make sure it was better. They said yes and I left. (They told me that if the bite is off it could cause the pain)

February-27th I go back at noon. I felt it needed to be ground down more because I was still in pain. When I got there they told me the appointment was canceled. It was the same receptionist and she also denied ever giving me a Tues. the 27th appointment. (she gave me that appt. at least 3x throughout this ordeal) Then I got called back to one of the cubicals and got yelled at for not stopping by the desk on my way out the last time. (The Dr. and that person who yelled at me were the ones that said I could leave the day before.)
Finally the Dr. saw me. He had to grind the crown down even more. I told him I was leaving for Palm Springs on March 13th. I told him this should have been all taken care of by now. He told me to give it time. As of March 10th it was not better but I went to Palm Springs not being able to chew much at all.

March 23rd - I had to go back again. He grinded it down more and gave me antibiotics. I had made an appointment for the 29th but I was not off the antibiotics yet. I canceled that appointment for that reason.

It is now April 10th and I am still in discomfort. The crown feels like it does not belong in my mouth. I DO NOT want to go back to the Port Rickey office.

The reason we decided to go to Aspen was because we are going to be snow birds for the first time. There is an Aspen Dental in Oswego NY. where we will be.
I need this crown problem taken care of as soon as possible. I do not trust the Port Richey Florida office. I do not even trust Aspen right now. I want the problem taken care of. I need to have this problem taken care of in the Oswego office at NO CHARGE.

Aspen caused the problem and did not care about all the pain I was in. They also ruined my vacation to Palm Springs . I had family come down to visit me during this whole fiasco and could not do things with them because of the run a round I got from Aspen.

May 14, 2018 - 10am
Went to Oswego NY office. When I walked in the door they told me it would cost 55 dollars for that visit. I told them it should be no cost to me. Aspen was paying for it. I gave them Stephanie's name (the regional rep who said there would be no cost to me) and they made a call. They took me in and did an Xray then I waited in the room for over a half hour. When the dentist finally came in she treated me very bad. She asked me in my words what the problem was. I tried to tell her and she insisted that it could be a root cannle problem. She said she read the notes from the Port Richey office. (without looking in my mouth at the tooth). When she looked at the tooth she was very abrupt and told me to turn her way so she could see it. I did. Then very degradingly she said (what do you have a neck problem?). I guess I was not turned enough for her. She wanted me to see another kind of dentist. I told her Aspen would have to pay for it and she told me she has nothing to do with payment. I asked if I needed to sue Aspen if they did not pay it and she said it was not a matter that I could sue on. They put me in a room and made me wait for the business person (another half hour) - Finally the business person came out and said she would call me when she hears from Stephanie. The Oswego business person said she could not believe that the Regional Rep Stephanie had not called her back yet knowing it was a pressing matter. Here it is as of the end of the day on May 15th and I have not heard a word from Aspen yet.

This dentist in the Oswego NY office, was one of the rudest professionals I have ever dealt with.

May 16th I called the Oswego NY Office and they said they could not deal with my problem. I asked for a phone number or email of someone higher up and they would not give one to me.

Becasue of Apen Dental I have been through much pain - Now major discomfort and my whole bite does not feel right. I can not clean the area well because of the fit.

Aspen Dental billing/misrepresentation of what insurance will cover

Good Morning,

Account Number: 6386428

I have been a patient with Aspen Dental for almost two years. I began working with Aspen Dental at the Bloomington/Normal office and then transferred to the Lady Lake office when I moved to Florida.

I am very, very afraid of dentists. From the very beginning all the personnel were super supportive, kind and provided excellent care...from teeth removal, to the denture process and recently, at the Lady Lake office for lower dental implants. Every time, I have been pleased, comforted and received excellent dental service.

When I moved to Florida, I was on limited income due to a pending divorce and on limited time because I am taking care of my elderly parents (85 and 86). My mom has Parkinson's Disease and Dementia. Our life is loving but very difficult.

After a small procedure, early last November, I looked into the costs of lower implants. I was still married and was advised what my husband's State Farm insurance would cover ($880) and I decided to spend my small savings to make lower implants a priority to me and my dental and mental health.

The procedure was November 27th, prior to that date, I was advised my costs and what insurance would cover and agreed. On the morning of the procedure, I once again asked if the insurance had been covered and was assured, once again, all was in order. I made my own final payment and had the procedure done.

I love my implants! The dental service, cleanliness, friendliness and professional staff made the entire dental procedure and experience less stressful and very rewarding. Every time I needed a quick fix or adjustment...done!

Come, the end of February, everything changed.

I received a bill for $880.00! Almost 3 months AFTER the procedure. I was completely floored and wondered what had happened. I called the office and asked what was going on...I was told my insurance hadn't been paid yet... I told her that I had asked over and over to be sure the insurance would cover this before having the procedure and was assured again on the day of the procedure it would be.

You see, I told her, I am on limited income and can not afford this additional costs. I was assured that the insurance company, then the owner, then the corporation would be contacted and I would be called back. I was also assured that even if insurance wasn't going to cover it I would not have to pay any, or very little. I waited and waited.

Another month passed.

No word from Lady Lake Aspen Dental. I received the March bill for $880. I then called back, there was no one at the Lady Lake Aspen Office that claimed to have said what they did in February and then I was told that sometimes the insurance takes months to be processed and to wait...

and I waited...worried...

No word from Lady Lake Aspen Dental.

I then received the $880 bill in April. I called Lady Lake Aspen Dental and was told the insurance requests was still pending, I asked them to please make a note on the bill so my credit wouldn't be affected. (They hadn't offered to do this either).

Please help.

I am an honest person. I do not want/like or have outstanding bills, nor in my 62 years I have ever had such a problem happen. I do not have the funds to pay $880. I would never had the procedure done if I knew that it would be that much more.

Please help a very satisfied dental procedure patient that believes that I was completely and still am being misrepresented by my out of pocket costs.

Sincerely,

Deborah

Aspen Dental dentures

Started denture work in Jan 2018. Top denture fits just ok. Working on adjustment on bottoms. On Friday May 11th while sitting at a table in a nice restaurant, while talking my front tooth on upper denture fell out! The dental office is in Bradley Illinois and I'm walking in there with these lousy dentures tomorrow and will be demanding full satisfaction, an explanation why a tooth would just fall out of a denture, and if satisfaction isn't met . I'll demand full reimbursement and use that money and go somewhere else! I'm very mad (pissed) and will go more public if you don't satisfy my complaint. Feel free to call them and straighten Bradley aspen dental out on my request! My # [protected].Thank you
