Aspen Dental non-existing customer service

Aspen dental caused me to lose two healthy teeth. They knew they messed up from the start, but then waited 14 months to finally refund my money? Huh? Then a call out of the blue offering a what? A settlement in the amount of $1 (it was a little more but i'm making a point)? What? Are you kidding me? No aspen dental, I want $5. Ha ha lol roflma ha ha so they say. Guess what? I laughed right back at them and joined b.a. d. aspen dental, keep that $1 you offered me. I'm going to walk away from your blood money, and actually do something to stop you from stealing smiles all across america.

You refused to refund me at the time of the incident which didn't make any sense to give it back 14 months later. Like most other aspen dental victims I have been forced to wait to get the issue done since I wasn't planing on having a simple crown procedure turn into needing an implant or bridge which is what i'm going to end up doing at the price tag of $4500 after all is said and done.

Aspen Dental call center gave wrong information and also the service was a waste of time

I called your online scheduling service on Saturday July 21st in a panic because my fiancé had cracked his tooth and needed to be seen right away. The scheduling man was very nice but informed us that they could see him Monday morning and yes could extract his tooth if need be being there was an oral surgeon on staff at all times. We went there (Pittsburgh Mills location, PA) at 8:00 Monday and was basically informed that this was a new patient visit and they would not be able to do any procedures during that appt. I became very upset saying your scheduler said that you would be able to help him which then they miraculously had a cancelation and said that they could. So we regretfully stayed and wasted more time because the doctor said the tooth was infected so they could not pull it-only prescribing antibiotics for 7 days and said to come back the following Monday. I explained my fiancé was in pain and was leaving for a work trip out of town the rest of the week and he needed to get this pulled today or at least a couple pain killers which they also would not prescribe. He is a 49 year old man who would not abuse anything but was just looking for some pain relief. Ok so basically we left there and I called another oral surgeon who was so wonderful to squeeze us in and take care of the problem. They explained that being the tooth was infected, the novicane might not work but the pain he was in at that time was worse. He wanted the tooth out. Aspen Dental didn't even give him the choice. So he was out of pain within a day no help from Aspen. I called to tell them what happened and even though there was no remorse from that office (they said it was all their policies) they could have at least apologised. Therefore, I will never use Aspen Dental again. I know a lot of people and clients and will also share this experience with them. Just a big waste of time!

Aspen Dental credit card reimbursement

Was scheduled for a root canal and paid upfront for the procedure. Instead had the tooth extracted. Was told that my credit card would be reimbursed $2127.70 as I paid for a root canal and didn't end up getting one. It's been over two weeks and I have yet to be reimbursed. Called the office with my concern and was told the office manager would call me back. It's been two days and no word. I drove down to the office to speak with the manager and was told my claims were held up with the insurance company. I called the insurance company and they said no claims have been submitted for a root canal. The insurance company said something is not right and its up to Aspen Dental to reimburse me. After I left the office I called them again and shared my frustrations. They said they have submitted a reimbursement and it could take up to three days. But it's already been two weeks since the first time they said the submitted for reimbursement.

Aspen Dental employee's

I made an appointment because I had a bad tooth ache. When making the appointment I provided the information regarding the tooth ache/reason for my appointment. When I arrived I was given paperwork to fill out so of course I included the tooth ache as it was the only reason for my visit. I was taken back, my entire mouth was xrayed. I was then visited by several different individuals, none of whom advised me of their name or job title. I was told that my gums are receding, that I have a tooth on the right side that needs capped. What no one did when I was brought to the back was ask me what brought me in on that particular day in the beginning or mention the tooth on the left side of my mouth that was giving me pain. Had they read the paperwork that I had filled out and asked me, spoke to me they would have had my business, as it turned out I got up and left because my reason for being there was not addressed. I later received a phone call from that office asking why i'd left. I explained and the woman told me that they have to take full x-rays etc. #1. No you do not. #2. No one asked me or read my info. #3. My concerns were not addressed. #4. Aspen dental is a money making scam in my opinion.

Aspen Dental bad service & attitudes from aspen dental

-Desmond Benford - [protected] ...My billing was almost $6000.00 at kingston pike location.. I was hung up on.. The manager was very rude.. After complaints i was giving a $300.00 credit. Once i called the Kingston pike office i was told there computer only showed a credit of $232.00, which is a difference of $68.00. I have been repeatedly told management would contact me to resolve the issue.. Im wondering why it has taking 2 weeks and counting to put the funds back on my credit card. Plus was told by ms. Andrea the no one can help me in her complaint office. ." its my money and i want it now" .

Aspen Dental dentures/pain

was a patient at the Evansville Indiana Aspen Dental, however issues after issues have arrived ever since the start of this.

Back in May, i went and had a consult. I ended up having to have my entire top teeth pulled due to issues with my pregnancy. Every time i would call, i owed a different amount, or my insurance didn't cover this or that, when in fact it did. I actually got my insurance involved. Fast forward, on June 26, 2018 i had a total of 12 or 13 teeth extracted...i opted to go with the most expensive upper denture they had, which i got a temporary plate, however, i have had nothing but problems out of it. 1. It is too big, 2. I dont like it and it is not what i ordered from them. 3. I explained my dismay that it was rubbing my gums, to the response i got was, "it will do that"! I asked them to remake it and i was told, " we are not making it again for you" yet i paid them...a couple weeks ago, i had to go due to the upper denture had cut my gum open and the receptionist said " don't you think you should have discussed this with him at your post op appointment and you would not have to wait" ! Well...i ended up waiting 5 days before i even got in...then i had a bone coming out of my gum and they said, id have to deal with because they couldnt get me in for a month. I chose to go to the Westside location here, dentist got the bone out, called the other day, i have another piece of bone, and i believe some infection. Yesterday i got a call from then telling me they cancelled my appointments and i will no longer be seen there because of my comment about the gut who i caused to have to work. I have not found a dentist, not to mention, i still have have the bone sticking out. Which they were aware of.

Aspen Dental billing

Hi, My name is Theresa Smith and my account number is 1361723. I had my teeth cleaned at your 979 Central Ave office in Albany, NY on 1/23/18.. The computers were down that day so I was sent home without going over my bill. The next day I received a bill for $146.00 I called right away and was told my bill would be submitted to my insurance company. I have Delta Dental HMO. I again in February received a bill in that amount and have every month since. I have called both my insurance company and the local Aspen office and after a lot of calls I was told in May that you and Delta were in contract negotiations and I was responsible for $36.00. I should wait for a bill before paying . In June I was billed again $146.00. Called again and told not to worry they (Aspen) would fix it, not to pay anything. Yesterday 7/16/18, I received a collection notice in the mail. I am again in contact with the local office and told again not to worry. I AM WORRIED. I do not want my credit ruined over nonsense. I was never told about negotiations with insurance. The Albany office has not been helpful, courteous or respectful which is probably why I never speak to the same person twice. They change employees quite frequently. I would appreciate some help in finally resolving this matter as I don't want my credit ruined. Thank-you, Theresa Smith

Aspen Dental dental surgery prepayment

On June 18, 2018 I scheduled dental surgery for extraction of two wisdom teeth. Date scheduled was 1 month out, July 17. 2018. Insurance authorization was obtained and my portion was to be $850. I was required to prepay it in full before they would even put me on the schedule, and I complied with this demand. One month later when I arrived for the appointmemt I was told there would be a further $250 required to have the surgery. I said I would not pay more above what had been agreed upon. I requested a refund and was told I would have to get it from corporate. Corporate puts me on hold and never returns. It seems I will have to get an attorney.

Aspen Dental I told aspen dental the day I came to see them I wanted implants in my bottom plates to hold it in and they did not do what I wanted done.

On Oct. 31, 2017 I went to Aspen Dental office in 890 Dawsonville Hwy Gainesville, Georgia. I brought an estimate from another dentist for the treatment that I wanted. I wanted implants to hold in my bottom plate, because my gums are receded too much to hold a plate in. I told them this up front and showed them the estimate--with details of the treatment as well as the codes used to bill this procedure. I--and my daughter---believed that the treatment plan detailed in the estimate is what I would receive with Aspen. Instead, they charged me $4.481.00 for 3 extraction of teeth and top and bottom plates. Also, a few other things they did that I did not know what it was. I don't know anything about the codes they have on my treatment plan. but I thought from what I told them I wanted done that they would do the right thing for me. It took me 5-6 months to get my top and bottom plates. When I finally got my bottom plate done and got home I thought they had put my implants in to hold my bottom plate. I went to eat some food and my bottom teeth just fell out. I showed it to my daughter who went with me the first day and heard me tell them what I wanted done was shocked when she found out what they had done to me. I had went to another dentist and got an estimate on what I wanted done and I did put on my estimate with them that I wanted implants on my bottom plate to hold it in so I could eat. Aspen Dental told me they could get a better deal for me on all I wanted done and so I went with their plan. I have not been so disappointed in my life. My husband and I are retired and can not afford to do this again.

Aspen Dental botched dental work

I regretfully entered the doors of Aspen Dental April of 2017, and was harmed when the dentist instructed the hygienist to adjust and seat a permanent crown. She was not permitted to do what she did. She was instructed to do what she did because the dentist admitted that he saw an exposed nerve when removing the temporary crown and he decided he didn't want to deal with it. Dr. Mark Habermeyer wherever you ran off to, I'm still dealing with the pain that YOU caused. Your former employer (Leonard Green and Co) doesn't want to deal with it either, nor does George McKee. Well, because of you and Aspen Dental this movement has been born. B.A.D. (Boycott Aspen Dental) See you all at the picket line! (more info at boycottaspendental.com)

Aspen Dental final set of dentures

I was a patient of the Gresham, OR Aspen Dental Office, located at: 670 NW Eastman Pkwy, Gresham, OR 97030. On March 12, 2018, I met with a financial representative of the Gresham OR, Aspen Dental office. At this appointment, I chose which dentures I wished to purchase. I chose the ComfiLyte denture. On this day I made a down-payment in the amount of $3, 6075.60.
On March 16, 2018, I met with Gresham, OR Aspen Dental Financial Representative to finalize my purchase of ComfiLyte dentures. At this appointment, I paid the final amount owed for the ComfiLyte dentures, $1, 001.60. My Insurance Company paid $1, 010.80.
When I first met the Dentist/Doctor, Garcia I told him and his assistant that I would be moving to Kansas on June 16, 2018. I asked both the Assistant and the Dentist/Doctor, if I would be able receive final set of dentures by the time I was to move. I was told by Doctor/Dentist Garcia, that I would be able to receive my final set of dentures prior to June 16, 2018.
I had a series of appointments in June of 2018 to receive my final set of dentures. (June 6, June 11, June 12, June 13 & June 14). At the June 6, 2018 appointment, I reminded both the Doctor and the Dental Assistant that I would be moving to Kansas on Saturday, June 16, 2018. I retired on June 14th and have planned this move for over a year. At this appointment (June 6th) I had a different Dentist/Doctor. I was told that Doctor/Dentist Garcia, no longer worked at the Gresham, OR Aspen Dental Office.
I was to receive my final set of dentures at the June 11th appointment. At this appointment, when the DR and assistant placed the dentures in my mouth, they did not fit. The Doctor attempted to alter the dentures to fit. The Doctor was very rough with me at this appointment. He pulled excessively at my mouth. I asked him twice to stop pulling so hard, but to no avail. Approximately 4 hours after I left this appointment, I could feel a cold sore forming on my lip in the area where the Doctor was pulling on my lips. A good fit was not achieved. I told the assistant that I was not happy with the fit and that I wanted a new set of dentures. The Office Manager/Human Resource/Financial Representative spoke to me and said that if I were to return on 6/12/2018, I would be measured and fitted for a new set of dentures. I spent approximately 3 hours in the office this day. I was told to return the following day to be measured and fitted for a new set of dentures.
I returned on June 12th. At this appointment I was measured and fitted for a new set of dentures. I was told that I must return on 6/13/2018 for an appointment to finalize the dentures. I was told that I would need to leave the dentures for approximately 5 hours, so the lab could have them.
I returned to Aspen Dental on June 13, 2018. I left my final dentures as advised by the Aspen Dental staff. I returned approximately 5-6 hours later to receive my final set of dentures. At this appointment, the final dentures again did not fit. The Doctor was again very rough with me. He told me, "you have two different bites, this is why we are not able to get a good fit". The Doctor then began sanding down the dentures. He told me that he needed to significantly sand down the back molars on the dentures, so they would appropriately fit into my mouth. I told the Doctor that I did not want him to file these down. I told him if it was necessary for him to significantly sand down the back molars on the dentures, then this was telling me that there was a poor fit. I was directed by the Aspen Dental staff to return the following day, so a better fit could be attempted. I returned to Aspen Dental, Gresham, OR on Thursday, June 14th. After a period of adjusting my dentures, the Doctor and the Dental Assistant attempted to fit the dentures into my mouth. I was asked to bite down over 20 times and asked to "remember" how I was biting. At this point, I still did not have a set of dentures that fit. Though, the fit was closer than when I arrived at the Aspen Dental Office this day. I was still not satisfied with the fit. I could not completely close my mouth. There was a definite gap between my upper and lower dentures.
At this point, I was very frustrated and as mentioned before, I was set to move to Kansas on Saturday, June 16. The Dental Assistant told me that I would need to get adjustments to my dentures after I arrived in Kansas.
I have not been able to wear my final set of Dentures since the June 14th appointment. I have been forced to use my temporary dentures.
On June 16, 2018, I began my move to Ellis, Kansas. I arrived in Kansas on Tuesday, June 19th. I have not been available for an Aspen Dental appointment until now. I needed to get moved in to my new residence, take care of personal medical issues. and assist my daughter and her family after the birth of their second son on July 2, 2018. On July 6th, I contacted my nearest Aspen Dental Office in Grand Island, NE to set an appointment. I have an appointment at the Grand Island, NE office on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 4:00 PM.
I am respectfully requesting that I again be measured and fitted for a final set of ComfiLyte dentures.

Respectfully,

Susie Strom

Aspen Dental complaint about dentist charles d. milton and professional

I went to Aspen Dental on 08/09/2016 to have teeth filled. I was told I had to have a free examination first. I waited for them to tell me what they found. Instead they took me to the office manager to check my credit. I told him that wasn't necessary because I had three (3) dental insurances. He gave me another appointment two weeks later. They canceled that appointment and gave me an appointment two weeks past the original appointment. I found out later I was charged $6, 743.00 the first day I went in that office.

Then they said I was given insurance participating discounts of $3, 998.00 which left me with a balance of $2, 745.00. Then the day I went in to have teeth filled and I had to pay $40.00 more. They had Comenity Capital Bank pay this money the first day I went in without my knowledge or consent. I have Humana Dental which allows me not to pay finance charges for 6 months. This is why I never let a dentist do more than I can pay off in 6 months. Then I had Aetna Discount, and I also have Humana Insurance. Then I tried to file a complaint with Dental First against Aspen Dental and I was told there is no Dental First. I would have to contact Aspen Dental.

Two men walked in the room. They went behind me and I remember nothing else; until a sharp pain hit me in my lower left gum. I jumped and tried to scream and a man ordered me to stop. I found out later they pulled 3 teeth and cut bones from under my tongue without my knowledge or consent.

I ate breakfast before I left home and they never prepared me for the surgery. They never checked to see if I had anyone to drive me home from Yulee Florida back To Waycross Georgia which is over 80 miles away.

I hemorrhaged for over 4 days and I couldn't eat because I was drinking my own blood. The pain was unreal and I am still having problems with pain in my gum and neck. He messed up my neck. I had to hold my head when I laid down or sit up.

Charles D. Milton DDS; This dentist treated me as though he was on a production line. He left two (2) roots and bones in my top and lower gums. It took months before anyone did anything about the problem they caused me. He cut my gum open a second time without killing the pain. This resulted in sharp pain hit me again and he stuck me two more times messing up my gum.

Since 2016 this sharp pain continues; often swells and my jaw still hurts none stop! It is a total disgrace for anybody to mistreated like this in 2018 and somebody must deal with this facility before somebody is killed. As a senior citizen these doctors must stop mistreating the elderly like this here in the state of GEORGIA! Please Share and help other patients here in our beloved nation.

CHARLES D. MILTON CANNOT BE TRUSTED DO PERFORM PROFESSONAL DENTAL WORK.

Aspen Dental dental service

Myself and my two daughters have been trying to work with this location. They make appointments then call and cancel within twelve hours of the appointment. They have delayed do work that was needed desperately to the point that have a filling fall out has turned into root canals having to be done. And when at the enotdonist he said the teeth did not require root canals. We have lost multiple days at work because of them. When they said they would send gift cards as an apology they never came. When a very expensive tooth brush was ordered and paid for that never arrived once again the refund was never applied for. At no time has anyone in the office said so much as we are sorry how can this be fixed. When having a temporary crown put on it fell off three times while in the office and a fourth when I was driving home. The next morning while missing more work hours it fell off two more time before it was remade Then they didn't even file the insurance correctly so it was said the crown was not needed for the tooth that they messed up so badly there was no other option. I feel these people owe me and my family refunds for the unprofessional work and way in which they work. Or at least attempt to work at

in need of lower dentures, i visited aspen dental in dekalb on 01/25/18 for an overall exam and a plan to replace existing (old) upper denture and create a new lower denture (and implants) to replace a partial appliance that was no longer viable due to the loss of anchor teeth.

dr. chandi developed a treatment plan that included all of the following:
• replace full upper denture with new temporary appliance.
• extract six (6) lower teeth.
• remove torus mandibularis, ll and lr.
• provide "same day" temporary lower denture.
• following six months' use of temporaries, install clip-on implants for upper and lower.

preliminary work began on 01/26/18 and surgery took place on 02/08/18 at which time aspen demanded full payment for all treatments ($3, 683.60). the surgery was lengthy and the temporary lower denture was of no use. i returned several times for adjustments and modifications which did not result in any improvement in fit or pain relief. on a march 5 visit, i learned that dr. chandi was "gone", i.e. no longer with the practice. (i suspect that she was "let go" from austriaco dental.) on march 5, dr. austriaco examined dr. chandi's work and determined that the initial procedure was not done correctly. he scheduled a second tori-removal for march 12. [with having no lower teeth and constant severe pain for more than a month, we contacted capital one (the charge card company used to pay aspen's fee) and initiated a payment dispute on march 13.]

we also contacted ms. hauter and scheduled a consultation for 04/11/18 with chauntel hauter and dr. austriaco to discuss the overall financial situation and future treatments. on 04/10, chauntel called me to advise the dr. austriaco would not be attending the meeting. another appointment was made to meet with chauntel for 04/20/18. my wife attended that meeting, the result of which was chauntel's promise to "contact corporate" to determine disposition of payments made to aspen by me and our insurance carrier.

following the march 12 tori grinding, several attempts to create a viable denture were made without success. on april 4, a third tori grinding was completed by dr. nye, followed by installation of a "cushion" on the lower denture, the purpose of which was to eliminate pain caused by rubbing of the denture against sensitive tissue. this cushion yielded minimal pain relief and the denture was so loose-fitting, that it would fall out during speech.

previously scheduled visits were canceled by aspen and on may 7, i was advised that aspen would refund a portion of monies paid (out-of-pocket and insurance) if i signed a release that precludes pursuit of any additional remedies.

still with pain but no teeth, i contacted other dentists for treatment advice. all agreed that the tori removal attempts by aspen were not successful and that the skills of an oral surgeon were required to prepare my bone structure for creation of a lower denture.

proposed actions: i believe that the doctors at the dekalb, illinois aspen facility over-estimated their ability to deliver the promised treatment and then took desperate steps to make unsuccessful patchwork corrections. the results of these activities were: on-going severe pain, no lower teeth, the inability to eat anything but soft foods, weight loss, depression, impaired speech, embarrassment, lost wages, facial appearance, melancholy, and overall distress.

it is my position that aspen should:

• dismiss all charges and fees associated with its failure to deliver promised services.
• pay any and all costs associated with my engagement of other doctors to repair and complete the procedures originally promised by aspen, including the installation of upper and lower implants.
• promise to pay any and all costs associated with treating any future and/or unforeseen problems linked to aspen's treatments or lack thereof.
• provide some level of compensation for dealing (since february 8, 2018) with all of the conditions listed above.

it is my sincere hope that aspen dental management, inc. and dr. austriaco will take the steps necessary to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

My mother went into the Aspen Dental Clinic for dentures and they gave her what they call temporary dentures that cost $500.00. My sister who was with her said they never once said the word temporary/interim and if they did we would never agree to a temporary fix when we need a permanent fix. After bringing in the partial dentures 5 times since January to be fixed, the new office manager explained to me that the acrylic temporary was not as strong and long lasting as the permanent. I asked what does a permanent cost and was told $644.00. Who in their right mind would buy a temporary for $500.00 when a permanent is only $144.00 more. This was never explained to my mother. How can we get a credit for the temporary to go towards the permanent?

Aspen Dental billing

On April 13, 2018, my husband Dale went to Aspen Dental in Sioux Falls, SD to get his remaining teeth extracted and dentures. He chose to go to this dentist as it was the only provider in town that was in our Delta Dental Insurance network that signed a contract to not charge us more than the Delta Dental said we had to pay.
However we were charged $7, 634. On a Dental First credit card and soon after we received the Explanation of Benefits from Delta Dental stating that the total amount we owed the dentist was only $4, 297. Since then we have been trying to get Aspen Dental to correct this over charge, but since we are getting no cooperation from them, we have filed a complaint with Delta Dental and the Attorney General of South Dakota.

I am in Texas and I am having a problem with Aspen's dental billing also. I paid for my dentures and the insurance covered the rest of the plan. On my last day to get my dentures they told me I still owed $247. I paid that amount and now they are saying I still owed $457. They need an auditor or to be reported to the state agencies. That is what I am doing now. This is ridiculous.
